It was a 10-foot drop to the ground floor, which was concrete down below. It seemed nobody was there, so they wouldn't crush or kill anybody on the drop if they didn't die upon impact.
Meanwhile, the entire building was starting to fall apart. That screeching noise echoing through the place at an even higher pitch. The floor beneath the remaining adventurer's inside was staring to fall apart and the ceiling above was starting to fall ontop of them.
Pastoval lands on the spongy mass as well. He leaps down to the floor, and his ears begin to twitch at the sound of the destruction. He calls up to his remaining companions, "Doesn't sound like you have much time left! Jump! There's somethin' to break your fall!"
Sleep? Sleep?! Sleep is for the weak!Unfortunately for all concerned, Grendan had no time to look before he jumped, so his landing is completely up to chance. He may be more durable than the average person, as shown earlier when he'd fallen into the middle of the melee, but he's still likely to break something if he lands badly... to say nothing of what could happen to his passengers.
Hopefully someone else can use a spell to catch him.
DOOD!!!As the last of the adventurers lept through the abbey's window, the entire building fell on top of itself. A large pile of what seemed to be rubble of wood and brick as another roar echoed through the night.
And then...silence. The only thing that seemed to have survived were the rings that were worn from the Zombies, the rings lying amongst the rubble.
Grendan rolls off the construct, placing George on the ground as he looks at the ruins. "Well. Guess this trip's a bust." He hesitates before placing a hand on the necromancer once again. "Before anything else happens, I should probably cast that blood production spell. Don't want you passing out at an inopportune moment."
DOOD!!!That loud screeching noise echoed through the night as the rubble and debris shook. A large hand broke through the destruction as a demon floated above them all, giving off another roar that seemed to be even louder than before as he snarled down upon the group.
Count Grimcrypt's Body
A Vampire Demon that once ruled a country 10,000 years ago. Believed to have been slain and body buried under the city. The cult that followed him has resurrected his...body. But his mind seems to have been far gone as he only speaks in roars and grunts

Pastoval leaped through the window frame, while silently praying to Alonati that the floor wouldn't be too far below him.
Sleep? Sleep?! Sleep is for the weak!
