Mega Man: Fully Charged

It's never explained how he met Mini (or how Mini knew about the password) either.

Now I can't find it anymore, but one summary for the show said Aki found a "secret programming inside his codes" that allows him to become Mega Man. Considering how Dr. Light said his software is still developing in "Too Much Is Never Enough", it's possible Mini just popped into his head, told him about his powers and inspired Aki to become a hero, with neither him nor Suna knowing how Mini ended up in his head, nor how Aki "suddenly" got these powers.

They posted a Replication compilation though it's mostly fights (and still overusing the "Uwah!" sound byte), and a commercial for Mega Man and Guts Man's toys.

Happy 1st anniversary, Mega Man: Fully Charged!

As of this writing, I've finished watching the first 18 episodes, and I'm watching it alongside the 1994 cartoon.

Season 2 news is coming, it seems.

I don't know what's more surprising, season 2 announcement or that there are people excited for it.

I hope the original Robot Masters get toys. People really like Chaotique and Hypno Woman.

Honestly I liked the show. It grew on me. Particularly after I learned it was supposed to do it's own thing by order of Capcom.

Jakks Pacific apparently isn't making Fully Charged toys at the moment due to low sales.

And I have even worse news. Season 2 might never happen.

Damn. I'm confused as to why DHX was so insistent on online content. I've seen it with other shows, and it's not impressive. They're just cheap, disposable shorts.

Also, nice to see CN up to its typical antics.

I'm surprised season 2 got that far in production to begin with. Sad it'll never see the light of day.

Hey, at least that means the crew can share whatever they worked on in a few years, if there are no legal issues with it, like Wolverine and the X-Men did. Most shows I liked that got canned never even made it that far.

Despite the show being cancelled, it's getting a six-issue comic mini-series by the show's writers.

Did the show ever get to Dr. Wily? Because the comic makes it sound like Dr. Wily is the main villain, as he should be.

Not really, we just had Bert unless I missed something.

nope, it had Bert Wily who was Aki's school friend.

I remember Bert, but barring a last second reveal, there was no Dr. Wily.

Still, don’t think anyone is going to complain.

I'm wondering if the series is a direct continuation or a separate continuity entirely.

It got deleted by the reset, but solicitations and cover art have pretty much confirmed that Dr. Wily is the main villain of the comic series.

I'm still wondering what's going with this comic. It's using the show's name, design (for Mega Man, at least), and the writers also worked on the show, but the plot and Wily are very different.

They’ve been really vague about the time placement, canonicity, etc. I’ve been debating whether to add a “Dr. Wily” section to the Fully Charged character sheet, or if it’s going to be so different as to warrant his own page.

More covers like #2 though. It feels like they’re throwing as much classic Mega stuff at it as possible, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the series ends with Fully Charged Bass or Protoman.

The first issue came out today. It is set firmly after season one and even has characters exclusive to the show, but the tone is more serious and gloomy. It also teases on loose threads from season one, like Nanagem hiding around the city. The villain of the issue is Skull Man, but it also introduces Dr. Wily near the end, who is set up as a historian of the Hard War and a respected citizen. No indication if he's Bert's dad or relative.

Sounds really cool! What show-exclusive guys show up?
