Jim paid off Bailey and turned to Victor, "Yep. Born and raised... though I moved out several years ago, after the war for Hoover Dam and the rising power that w-"
Jim was interrupted by the sound of the Eyebot bleeping to life, and it hovered there, harmlessly, "Yes!" Damien exclaimed.
"... You'll have to pay for that," was Jim's only response.
As for Thomas, "That'll be 1400 caps. It wasn't in the best condition when I found it."
"Well the Statue a Liberty is a bit of a odd broad ta talk abou'..." Timothy noted, "She's locked up more thana vault, and she seems somewhat rustic... Thana da security bots roaming da place."
Manny nodded, "I was part of a Super Mutant pack, we tried to establish the Statue as our base... we failed in that regard."
"As for da Stadium. Washington Park as it was called is pretty empty now, good camp'n grounds for caravans if we ever get some through," Timothy noted.
"And as for the Vault. Standard Vault Tech, we think there was a experiment in there about mutagenic conditioning through air based dispersal, but sadly all the tanks were empty so we could never tell."
Thomas nodded in understanding. "Alright. Suppose I'll put this back, then." He headed over to place the laser rifle - gingerly - into the same container he found it in.
He didn't have 1400 caps. The problem now was to get 1400 caps, so he could grab the laser rifle.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Damien looked at Jim and sighed before fishing out 200 caps, caps he had planned to save and buy a nice cold Sunset Sasparilla somewhere with a Brahmin steak. But for now, he'd use it to pay off his new robot pal.
He had something like 150 caps left,
"How about we just pool our money together and buy it?" Damien suggested to his comrades, it wasn't like there wasn't a large pool of caps waiting for them back at Times Square, "I mean the only other options are sidequesting for caps, killing people and selling their stuff, or just killing Jim here and taking it."
Thankfully Jim didn't hear that and was now rifling around for Gasmasks.
Timothy cocked a eyebrow at Katya, "Oh? Can I hear dis idea on whatdya want ta do with da stadium?"
Thomas had headed back into the main room, his worn Enclave armor making no shortage of noise, as he heard the suggestion.
"Well, how many caps do we all have? I've got about a hundred and sixty or so," he contributed.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""See, a stadium have a big, empty space, right?"
Katya mused, between chowing down on pizza slices.
"So why not say, arrange a big event every few weeks or so, invite say traders and performers and the like. Then charge the people who comes to visit a few caps or so when they come to see what's the going on and about."
"You can say, make a pizza stand, or a food stand or trader stand or whatever, and also charge them a few caps to set up shop."
Katya finished, along with a pizza and a cup of water.
всегда веренManny and Timothy seemed impressed, "Well howseabout dat..."
Manny pulled out another Ice Cold Nuka for Katya, "Here. Free Refill,"
Snowy walked over and placed his head in Katya's lap, wagging his tail.
Damien sighed and drew from his inventory, which he still had no idea how it exactly worked, his own Laser Rifle with it's focus optics and scope, "Well... I'll trade this in and buy another one."
Jim stood up, "Y'all got what you need?"
Damien nodded, "We're gonna pool it together and trade in my laser rifle for the one you have."
Jim looked over at everyone, "You all agree upon this?"
Damien held up his pistol, "It's cool, I got this, Snowy, and Barry here. I can wait a bit to get a new laser rifle," he noted.
Jim nodded and accepted the laser rifle and the caps Damien handed over, "Alright, as for the rest of you? pool it together."
Timothy suddenly clued in to something, "Hey where's da mercenary band ya hired? They ain't here? Just da dog."
"Well, suppose that's it, then. Be careful not to break that thing out there, huh?"
Thomas drew his FAL into a ready stance, his weapon pointed down at the floor. It was less "robbery" and more "ready to leave".
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."

And with the ring sights Thomas had confirmed this was what he was looking for.
He took the rifle out front and laid it on the table. "How much?" he asked.
