A shot rang out from Corporal Holmes' gun as he pegged an approaching zombie who was followed by about a dozen more.
"Well, whatever you plan on doing, do it fast. We can take you back to our base or we can drop you off at the Confederates but we can't do both. We've already lost enough time on you as it is." Captain Cook told the group. Reed readied his own gun in preparation for the zombies.
"Maybe we should discuss this on the helicopter lads?"
"Doesn't seem right to leave him here for the zombies to feed on him."
Will started wrapping one large piece of cloth he found, lying around, maybe it was a carpet for the van? On Darnell's body. From them on, he took his arms and started dragging the body of the black guy to the chopper, gladly accepting any help if it comes.

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Corporal Holmes gave a hand with Darnell's body, after looting one of the pistols and he climbed aboard the helicopter along with everybody else.
"Alright you all! I got a tight schedule to keep so let us know where you want dropped off. The Confederate's base, here in town, or at our little sanctuary?" Captain Cook yelled over the sound of the rotors.
Will was sharpening the blades of his knives and axe.
"Well, might be nice to be shown around the people around their HQ and get some supplies for taking out these punks. On the other hand, the time for our girl is running low...and I've got everything I need right here." Will pats his mountaineering backpack."And we've got a Rat to give us a tour" will looked around the interior of the helicopter, seeming somewhat amused. Then he looked to Paco. "Whadd'ya say,'boss'?"

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos."Alright. I commend your loyalty to this girl but it's a fool errand!" Corporal Holmes called out over the sound of the helicopter blades. As the helicopter flew out of town, the group could now see the zombie residents.
After a few minutes, the copter reached its destination - a desert cave
with a Confederate flag posted outside the front. No sign of life - zombie, human, or animal could be seen but the remaining vehicles that had pursued the group were parked outside - a little worse for the wear. The pilot landed the helicopter behind a large pile of rocks - about half a mile away from the base.
"Alright - this is where we leave you. I wish you the best of luck and if you ever decide to come to our base, here's the coordinates." Captain Cook said, handing a piece of paper over to Paco. With that, he and his crew took of in the copter and left the group.
"Well, we need to scout ahead. Let's make sure we don't split out for too long or too far - but I'm gonna make a recon on these fuckers so we can plan accordingly. Anyone quiet enough can follow me. Before I go. What you got for us, Mike?"
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos."Hey, I'm not a fucking babysitter here," Paco said, crossing his arms. "You have to decide what to do with Ratboy over here. I say we figure out what we can from him now, then head out as a group. He's going to be too much of a liability if we have to take him along. Besides, the Confederates just lost tons of their men and vehicles, they're probably running around like chickens with their heads cut off."
"That's why I asked to Ra...Mike." Will seemed to have some difficulty in treating Mike as a human being.
"What can you say for us about this camp before we go in? Remember we're your best chance of survival."
Will got Mike by his shoulders, trying to make eye contact.
"Hey, man, listen. You might not be one of them, but you are with us now. And we might have a lot of advantages over your former fellows...I doubt you weren't bullied all the time around here. Now it's time to take revenge on all the suffering they've put you trough in this place. If you don't want to do this, of course we might just tie you to a radiator or something.
◊"
He then turns to the group.
"Well, I'll scout stealthly first So we can see what we're up against. Anybody wanna join?"

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos."Yeah...whatever..." Mike said, continuing to gaze down at the ground. There were still no bandits in sight and it was up to the group what to do. Reed the former guard sneezed loudly and then quickly looked embarrassed and worried that his sound might be heard.
However, no worry was needed for inside the cave, those few bandits who remained were busy squabbling amongst themselves about their best course of attack. Unnoticed by most was their prisoner that they had captured earlier that week. He was tied to a stake on the ground and he might have caught something that sounded an awful lot like a human sneeze outside. The man tied to the stake might also notice a large burlap sack that the bandits had just brought in.
The prisoner attempts to wiggle around to loosen the stake out of the ground, or at the least to try to drag the bag over with his foot with the hope that there may be something with which to free himself. Normally he would have been hit with the butt of a gun for trying to escape, but the guards were distracted and the their arguing of an attack gave him hope that that a group of survivors were coming, and that hopefully they would free him. Assuming it wasn't a zombie horde.
Yeah, so if I could just find happiness, that'd be great. Will looked at Reed with a frown, then looks over st the rest of the team. They were just wasting time at that point. He turned his back, took a few items from his backpack and into the cave he went, trying to remain stealthily concealed and keeping the balance between evaluating their assets and staying as close to the entrance as possible.
Then he would proceed to return and tell everyone what he saw into the cavern to help form a plan of action.

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos."Dios mios, what a chingada," Paco said, sighing and pressing his hand to his forehead. He glanced at Mike momentarily, then shifted his gaze over to Reed. "Rambo over there ran off, left him with us. The hell are we supposed to do? He'll probably try and run away or fuck us up the second any of these skinhead assholes finds us."
Unfortunately, the burlap sack was too heavy to even think about dragging and the only thing that the prisoner's foot could reach was a camping spork or a half empty water bottle. However, wiggling the stake was proving fruitful and it seemed ready to budge free when one of the Confederates turned his head and saw what the prisoner was doing.
"Hey!" the man shouted but before he could react further, the sounds of gunfire erupted from just outside the cave. Will - in his attempt to sneak by to get a closer look had failed to spot one of the bandits underneath one of the vehciles outside the cave - he was doing repairs before he had heard Will. He pulled out his pistol grip shotgun and fired a quick shot at a nearby car window before running towards the cave. All of the bandts inside the cave, hearing this, all ran outside to see what the problem was - leaving the prisoner alone. All told there were nine left after the encounter with Dyson's group and Captain Cook's helicopter.
"Caralho!" Will shouted as he rested his arms in the car with broken windows and took a shot with his crossbow, using the opportunity as the bandit seemed to be fairly close and had his back turned.
He then would duck, not even caring to glance if the bandit was down: looking at what he had in hand, his survival knife, his shotgun strapped to one shoulder, which he preferred not to use, a bunch of matches and a empty bottle.
Laying down, he would try to find the gasoline tank of the car and then pierce it with his knife, to then fill some of his bottle with the fuel.
His plan involved creating a trail so he could explode the car, but all in good time, first things first - and now he should focus in finding and piercing the tank so he could collect some gas.
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos. The prisoner stared dumbfoundedly in the direction the bandits had run off. He shook his head and muttered to himself. "This is too easy." Once the stake finally came free, he walked over to the bag and turned around so that he could unzip it. There might be something for him to cut the ropes with so that he could get this annoying pole out of the way, and more importantly, have full use of his hands.
Yeah, so if I could just find happiness, that'd be great. Will's aim wasn't as true as he might have liked perhaps but it nevertheless pierced the running bandit's thigh and he fell on the ground cursing and screaming. However, Will wouldn't have long to savor the victory as most of the bandits began shooting at him. Most were still running and a bit away but nevertheless, one bullet grazed his shoulder - causing a sharp pain before he could duck down. Piercing the tank proved a little difficult with his knife but after a few tries, he managed to get a few drops dripping down.
Two of the bandits had hunting rifles and seemed to be hanging back to use their long range to their advantage while the rest had pistols or sub-machine guns while one was just armed with a large axe that the group might recognize as belonging to Dyson.
Inside, the prisoner would find...a very attractive woman with numerous bruises inside the burlap sack. She was unconcious but she showed signs of stirring.

"The Gringo is right, we have to get her back before these locos get back to their base," Paco said.
