> We obtain a loop of wire and make a simple bracelet.

Obtaining the wire takes considerably longer than you planned, it should have been a simple trip into one of the store-rooms, but once inside you realised how disorganised and filthy the place was and began to clean it up.

You carefully took everything out and placed it in an adjoining room, then found some cleaning materials and scrubbed down the shelves, mopped the floor, and dusted the ceiling, before moving everything back. It's hard to tell how long you took, but at least your haz-mat suit protected you from the grime.

Eventually you have the materials you need taken from a box to make a loop armlet. You use some thick braided copper cables and wrap them around your forearm in a somewhat decorative and protective style.

'> Then we transmute the "loop armlet" into a "portal home"

You remove the armlet and place it down on the floor, not too far away and focus.

As you are doing this, a handful of the crew come back up heading towards the mess-hall and grab their guns, surprised by your appearance.

As you focus on the Armlet you realise that your place of birth is only a distant corrupted memory. However you try and the armlet stretches out and morphs into a golden archway with two large metal doors which are currently closed.

Walk through the portal while quietly chanting the name of our birthplace (which is Springfield, Missouri, IIRC), in the hopes that it'll help us get there somehow.

(Sorry I haven't been on I have been busy. I am going back and looking at noted [because I want to guess where the hell we are and get that bonus point] and in doing so find out where we put stuff/if we should still have things. In doing so though the GM has mentioned the hand held tablet and batteries that can fit in it. I would like to see whats on it before going through the doors. Though if anything is going to stop us from going through the doors [for example something in the way of the tablet] we ignore it and Leroy Jenkins our way out of the Asimov)

You pick up the batteries and the tablet before you go through, reasoning that you can examine them once you are through.

> Walk through the portal while quietly chanting the name of our birthplace (which is Springfield, Missouri, IIRC), in the hopes that it'll help us get there somehow.

You pull the door open chanting the name of your home. The doors open accompanied by blinding white light and your stomach sinks as you begin to blink and beyond it you can see the endless white perfection of the Silver City not far from the gate you can see the legions of the Seraphim drilling in perfect formation.

As you struggle to close the door somebody much like you were before you left the city, points to the door. "Invaders!"

Then the assembled host as one wheels in your direction.

Without breaking stride, walk backwards through the portal and turn the "portal home" back into a "loop armlet".

You step back through the door as one of her host comes barrelling towards the portal and you will the gate back into a simple armlet.

Behind you several of the crew have dropped tools and have guns trained on you.

"What the hell was that?"

"I tried to use a shortcut to get us back to earth but it took me to where the Angel is."

Put the batteries in the tablet and turn it on. Search for anything noteworthy.

> "I tried to use a shortcut to get us back to earth but it took me to where the Angel is."

Monica looks unimpressed.

"You tried something that potentially dangerous without telling any of us? On the only safe haven we have? And clearly this isn't the first wild experiment you've tried. You're barely recognizable. I'm sorry, but we can't have somebody so powerful and unpredictable onboard right now, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

> Put the batteries in the tablet and turn it on. Search for anything noteworthy.

The recording is a ships log of one of the flight crew detailing a teary send-off from Earth. Numerous interview recordings. The early test flight data and a party in the mess hall. Followed by clips of corrupted security cameras during the disaster.

The final image is of the "Lady of Freedom" meeting with the 40 crew members as they signed away their sanity to her and the attack that followed.

One thing of interest it does have is a close-up of the "Lady of Freedom" carrying her Green book and flaming torch, swathed in cloth robes and wearing a radiant crown upon her brow.

Current Status:

Lightly wounded

Hungry (but not for the fruit you carry)

Description:

Red skinned (and hot)

Short spikey haired Female

With tattoos, piercings and some synthetic skin

Check to see what tattoos and piercings we have.

You are being held at gunpoint so you don't really have the chance to disrobe and check yourself, but a cursory examination when you changed indicated your arms are covered in something like a fraction of an illustration of your journey so far. Your left arm seems to be about leaving the Silver City and your right has details of you discovering the ship. Presumably the rest of the story is told across the rest of your body.

Piercings, you have a few, certainly ears, a nose stud, eyebrow, lip ring, navel and at least one below that, all the piercings appear to be chrome or titanium.

check inventory, and memory of where things are in relation to you.

Items you do have:

  • Bright Yellow Haz-mat Suit [Wearing]

  • Large Orange Plastic Bag

  • Mop

  • Tongs

  • Tablet [with batteries inside]

  • Dozens of Fruit Vegetables & Tomatoes: Mostly squished by now

  • Notes [Music Script, Paper Flyers]

  • Cork

  • Silver Rod

  • Film badges: Ruined by radiation

Items you no longer have:

  • Candle: Expended by ritual use.

  • Sword (Silver-alloy of some sort): Confiscated from you as you entered the ship, still has not been returned.

  • Taser: Likewise

  • Targe: effectively destroyed by turret fire

  • Insulin Injector: Empty, presumed discarded or returned to the improvised infirmary.

  • Aspirin: Also taken from you in the Infirmary

  • Packet of dressings: Applied to your wounds by the crew (used).

  • Panel: Discarded by the pools outside as it was too heavy.

Location:

You are currently aboard the ship in the rear (inhabited) part of it.

The only ways out are through the rock that you turned into Cork in the arboretum (which last you checked was being sealed by the crew) and through the corridor with the turret gun in it.

Beyond that is the rest of the ship (Bridge, Infirmary, stores, airlock etc...)

Outside the ships main airlock is the pool with the fuel rods in them.

Beyond that are various caverns and tunnels through the rock. Some of which lead to the Furies Cavern, some lead to the surface.

On the surface of the rock there is the exterior of the space ship on the "underside" and the nearby floating rock on which you have been told the Book of Escapes lies (although the jump is several meters).

This is (IIRC) the geography of the area you are in, if you understand it correctly. Although Gravity, Space and Time appear to be more fluid than normal space.

> Express sorrow for Monica's insistence that you leave but agree to leave peacefully.

They turn off the turret gun and escort you out to the airlock of the ship, armed and wary of the Furies.

They do however return your sword and taser.

Monica says: "This is nothing personal, and if you can find the book maybe we can all get out of here, but for now I can't let anybody endanger my crew."

They retreat back inside the ship and you can hear the turret gun reactivate.

You undress, although you start to realise how dirty it is out here the moment that you do. Sadly whilst the rad tattoos are a useful record of your journey so far, the story does not predict the future, although several areas of you body are still free from tattoos, so there is room for more.

> Do we still have the loop armlet?

I am assuming you dropped it when escorted out at gunpoint.

(Do we have grains? If so, transmute 'granules' into 'laser gun')

(or, fold a note into a paper airplane and transmute 'flier' and transmute into 'rifle')

(actually to simplify things as a flier and a plane aren't quite the same thing. One of the notes is a paper flier advertising a night club in New York (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flyer_(pamphlet))

Either way you now have an old WWI bolt-action rifle.

Assuming we still have the tablet, see if there are any emails on it, then turn an email form into rifle ammo.
