Sorry I managed to forget you in all this Chabal. But alright, that could work. Koschei is his emissary because Chernabog can feel that things are about to go down in Goldwing Vale.

I'm not sure if you're young or if english is your third language or something, but... to be honest, I'm not sure if this RP is for you. For one, you really need to work on your grammar, punctuation, and all that entails. It's a long road and I wish you luck on it.

I just had an idea. What's the afterlife look like in here? If Chernobog is sitting on a literal gate to hell it would give him an excellent reason not to move and do everything through Koschei.

Are you asking where the gods would be during the events of the RP?

That too.

No afterlife for gods. No heaven, no hell. Or if there is one, then you don't know what it is. Think of it as an incredibly long, dreamless sleep. The body of the gods may be anywhere, even at the bottom of the ocean, but that's trivial to them. What does matter is that these divines are conscious on a psychic level, but only with other gods or their followers or things directly connected to them.

No, as in what happens to dead mortals.

Oh. There might have been gods of the underworld and whatnot ferrying souls of the dead at one point, but at this juncture...? Probably nothing after the end. It would be subject of great debate among scholars and philosophers were it not for the fact that it leads to dangerous and viewpoints that could be - ahem - misconstrued and leading to you being ostracized.

On another note, I think that another week should be good to get the rest of our God apps in. Mortal apps will remain opened indefinitely, though.

Plot idea: the souls of everyone dead since the purge are still around, with the first god to reach them suddenly gaining power, or trying to get into the new afterlife, or coalescing into a new entity.

Worshipped and feared due to the curse of instant death she brought wherever she went, Adorjan holds Four Noble Truths which she endeavors to teach the world: Love is Hate, Isolation is Freedom, Bonds are Pain, Everything Ends. She is a creature of contradictions, Adorjan, and her hatred is often safer than her love, as she attempts to impress her Truths upon her loved ones, freeing them from the pain and suffering of their mortal bonds.
• Themes: Obsession - To single-mindedly seek a goal, Contradiction - To clash against society and its traditions, Isolation - To free oneself of the burden of relationships

Welcome aboard. It shouldn't be a problem so long as you are mindful of others' needs and try to work with rather than against them to make a good story.

Iskraleth looks good, and so does Adorjan... well, aside from the slight nitpick that I'm not sure if we have Bodhisattvas around here.

Also, adding who's approved to the OP. Will get a discussion thread for worldbuilding and whatnot up on Sunday or after getting a bigger roster, whichever comes first. Lastly, casual reminder that we have until Wednesday to work on God sheets and throw them up for approval. Don't worry if the approval process leaks over that time period - as long as it isn't a barebones skellington I'll work with you on it.

I have a question:

Can a god kill another god? If yes, can a the killer steal the murdered god's powers or leave it there for someone else to take?

Within the RP? I'd say really hard since you'd have to find someone willing to die for you. But yeah, if you hypothetically were to kill a God, you'd assume his mantle, and all the powers and responsibilities thereof.

Also:

A) What other intelligent species exist in the setting other than humans? Are they your standard fantasy races?

B) Do we need to send our character sheets through the skype group? Or can we keep posting them in this forum?

1) Whatever species you feel like doing. Make something up, make up the society, etc. Democratic Orcs? Monarchical Minotaurs?

2) Here's fine. The skype group is just for ease of access.

A thought: what protection, if any, is there against monsters that traditionally require holy weapons to defeat? All manner of undead, for example.

There's usually more than one way to kill such a thing, though. Vampires have stakes and garlic. Werewolves have wolfsbane and silver, for example. Then again, the Gods in this case draw more from a Greek/Nordic style rather than Christian.
