Lighthearted joke about something political. This poster is unaware that the joke is actually, legitimately offensive to some people and is actually just a nice, if rather thick headed, guy.
Because the joke is offensive the poster will be yelled at, reported, and given an infraction and will sincerely apologize following the infraction. Nobody will believe he is sincere, despite linking to Sincerity Mode and will flame him. He will soon leave the site.

Someone with prior history of antagonism with another commenter(/s) says "Wow!" before launching a short tirade about "a bunch of shitheads" "complaining about everything" and how tired of it this poster is. Unwittingly gives away how resentful and upset they still are over... something you may, just may, find out if you go dozens and dozens of pages back in the thread. Also unwittingly gives away how emotionally volatile the poster really is.

A climate change denialist springs from some tangential side sentence of what said to complain (without any evidence) that some other poster is a "climate alarmist fanatic" before going on to characterize in detail how narrow a mindset this type of fanatic has.... the kind of fanatic this poster wants "climate alarmists" to be, anyways.
Strawman arguments about climate change ensues as does namecalling "climate alarmists" and telling them to crucify themselves to trees.
Proof of this poster's totally-not-a-denialist viewpoint about an upcoming Ice Age is a YouTube-video by another totally-not-a-denialist presenting cherrypicked, decontextualized data as well as appealing to some blogs complaining how climate change is religion which is proved by......
All this interspersed in the comment by ranting how "climate dolts" are the ones endangering the planet and anyone questioning this poster's totally-not-climate-change-denialism is not questioning enough while playing into the hands of an unspecified mainstream elite.
