Here's something weird:
The latest cut of The New Mutants has no references to the other X-Men movies.
Apparently it's in case Kevin Feige wants to consider the movie as a part of the MCU...
Interesting...
Huh. I mean, if the film makes money, they probably could bring it in to the MCU, like Deadpool. Deadpool had references to the Fox X-Men films, but they were pretty minimal and could thus be ignored; with New Mutants, even the trailers didn't show anything X-Men related (and included things like "Do you know what a mutant is?"), so it might have been easier to cut things related to the Fox X-Men movies.
Hey, guess what? This movie is still coming to theaters this April!
New Mutants artist and co-creator Bill Sienkiewicz said to Kevin Smith on the latter's Fatman Beyond podcast that Josh Boone showed him a new trailer and has nothing to say but good things about it.
Apparently we might see this trailer sometime next month.

Hmm. Interesting. Maybe they delayed the film because they wanted to keep working on the VFX? Now there's an interesting thought: because this film didn't have a rigid date when it had to come out (it being the last of the Fox X-Men films), it could delay and take as much time as it needed to complete the visual effects, unlike some of the MCU films and, uh, Cats.
I'm glad it's coming out in theaters (two years after it was supposed to), because the first trailer looked awesome.

That's what we don't know. If rumors/speculations are true they might have altered it to fit into the MCU.
If that's true, what does it mean? No more R-rating? The horror aspect downplayed, if not completely erased? Will they remove the kiss between Wolfsbane and Dani? That's all wait and see.
I kinda wonder what this means for the actors. I'm sure it's gonna be a bit of a mess negotiating with them since probably some of them have already signed into other things (particularly Anya Taylor-Joy and Maisie Williams) trying to sign them into 6-7 movies -assuming they even want to- like most MCU actors do is gonna be a hassle. I also imagine that will factor on whether or not they will include this into the MCU.
(I do think we can live without this Sunspot and cast a actual black Brazilian actor instead.)

Yeah, it was reported that "it would feature a LGBT couple", being Wolfsbane and Dani, but later reports indicated that it was a kiss during a spin the bottle game, not a actual relationship.
Also, yeah, I agree and I don't think they'll make it fit within the MCU, I find those rumors and speculations to be mostly wishful thinking.

China didn’t censor The Rise of Skywalker
. It’s all in Disney’s hands.
Furthermore, this will be Josh Boone's version of the movie coming to theaters,
not the version Fox wanted him to make after IT: Chapter One caught the world by storm.

The movie might feature Illyana's soul armor.
Dammit, now I really want to see this.
