"What are you talking about, Aura? Whatever happened to the heartless bitch who enjoyed being evil, loved ruining Kageri's life when she could, and reveled in peoples' misery?" Wand asks Aura, extremely confused. "You really owe me an explanation here."

The King is just standing in place, shivering for a little bit...
And then he suddenly lets out a huge and loud Skyward Scream that lasts for ten seconds, before he sits down on the ground, burying his head in his knees.
Then he just stays there, in that position, his only visible movement through harsh breathing. He must have hurt his throat with that scream.

Aura rubs her temples, and then takes one long look at Wanda... and her eyes widen when she regains clarity.
She also falls out of her seat thanks to her shock.

Your 'I'm suddenly nice and kindhearted instead of the heartless bitch that everyone knows I am' act is really starting to wear thin."

She doesn't even seem to hear Wanda as she begins muttering.
"This has to be a dream, a very bad dream... Wanda is supposed to hate and fear me, not be conflicted whether or not to kill me... let me die already... they can't know about this, especially not Kageri..."

"Okay, what the hell are you talking about, Aura?!" Wanda asks Aura, now thoroughly annoyed. "Stop your rambling and just explain what's going on here!"
Hakkyou and her kids, drawn by his sadness, float closer to the King. Hakkyou smiles and her eyes glow, as do those of her blue child, and the King would feel his sadness lessen somewhat. "My my, seems you're in a bad place right now. Want to talk about it? I am a therapist, after all."
"Soon. I'm still tired after that fight." He kisses him again.
*She gently cups his cheek, trying to look into his eyes.*

Aura looks at Wanda, her stare blank and her eyes bloodshot from sleep deprivation.
"Go away, Wanda... now is not the right time... I can't fight you right now... I'm too tired and I'll leave the boy alone if I do..."
The child is still petting the kitten, but then frowns upon seeing Wanda.
"They're... the two people who hurt you, right?"
"Don't worry... they won't hurt you and that's all that matters."
With a yawn, Aura continues to talk to the child.
"If anything... when I'm gone, they'll be one of the people I'd trust the most to protect you from the Gamemaster and his allies..."
