Spreading her dragon wings, Nicole immediately rockets to the top of Fort Dawnguard, prompting Maki to leap after her. Once she's joined the others, she fixes Sukuna with a look of pure hatred.
"There you are, you glorified parasite. God, you're an even uglier motherfucker than I imagined," she hisses, her unnervingly calm tone belying the sheer venom in her words. "Come on, take your shot. I'll do what your parents should've done a long time ago and ship your depraved ass right off to hell."
Maki points her Split Soul Katana directly at Sukuna, her gaze steely.
"This won't be a repeat of last time, Sukuna. Not by a long shot."

Spealing of Beezlebub
Baz and Casper's apartment was largely clean. Casper wasn't a complete slob... but Baz had forbid any pile getting taller than a single soda can. Which honestly was a good metric of measurement Casper thought.
God, he loves this woman.
What he doesn't love is the fact no one wouls take in Beezlebub.
He even got kicked out of Spamton's house! Who was paying him in gas station coupons!
Maxx had helped build a crawl space for Beezlebub... complete with a bed, a table, a small drawer cabinet... and a trashcan.
He needed to invite Maxx over for a dinner. Hed cook it next time and not put Baz on the spot... speaking of.
"...hey Baz... I'm gonns check on my parolee. Can you have my back incase I need to drag him out for a bath?"
He'd get off the couch and walk over tiredly towards Beezlebub's door, knocking on it before declaring his intent.
"I know I haven't caught you choking it yet but if you were nows the time to put it away."
Than he'd open the door.

is kind of nonplussed about having to share a home with a god who nearly mass-murdered an entire civilization for the sole purpose of killing himself, sitting down by the couch and looking at the tv uneasily, tapping on the armrest of her couch in moderate anxiety. Moderate because she knew that Casper knew what he was doing, moderate because Casper knew what he was doing.
God, she loves that man. But he had an habit for chaos that Baz appreciated but found off to indulge in, even though she preferred his brand of chaos to the Mad Arena. And as he got up to get Beelzebub to crawl out of his mancave, Baz was thankful she had no need to interfere, due to Beelzebub having gotten up on his own to leave, facing Casper with a cold stare that was a dignified as he could be.
I will eat alone in my room this time

Casper raised his broe at this, sniffing around his mancave as if making sure...
"Ok so no need for baths. But uh... Galvadoll said I have to like, make sure you aren't eating anything weird."
The overly layed back Casper addressed Beezlebub was equivalent to a somewhat responsible uncle. Though he motioned towards Baz with a smile.
"And uhh, well you'll be sitting next to me. You can have some of those Udon noodles... some of those- actually no the ink noodles are Baz's. I can make you some Chicken Satay."
The detective did crack a grin. Not a teasing one, but more a knowing one...
"Did youuu.... do your journaling? If so, we can think abouf takeout."
AwawaVen dropped his things and sank into the seat. What a mercy it was, the tempcontrol flooding through the shuttle, combating the radiating body heat of each passenger and the overwhelming humidity of the planet outside. The seat rumbled, the artificial gravity switched on, and they took off. Outside, though there were no windows through which to view it, the Imperial spaceport shrunk more and more. Teeth nervously chittered from the man to his left. Ven turned, bearing witness to a pale, anxious little man who looked hardly like he scraped together the money for a ticket offworld through any legitimate means. Ven smiled. "Who’d you kill?"
The man’s breath caught. His eyes flung wide. "What?"
"What?" The Tenno turned away. On his other side, a woman clutching tight to her heart a writhing bundle of lavender cloth. "Cute kid. What’s his name?" She glared at him like he was the most disgusting creature in the world. Which, to be fair, he probably was. Ven lifted his bloody collar to his nose. Eugh. Swampstink and deathstench. Ven was suddenly conscious of how much everywhere itched. A shower didn’t feel like it’d be nearly enough. He needed to be hosed down.
For the first time since they’d parted the day prior, she appeared in his thoughts. With her face came a unique feeling. One he wasn’t very accustomed to, one without name, something like…
No. He didn’t have time for it. It was pushed out of his mind. He was a soldier, he didn’t care what others thought of him, what he did, who he was. So why did her image reappear? Why did it now haunt him, that face she’d made, that tone beneath her words, the disgust? He’d been called so many things that words themselves no longer held any meaning, especially not when spoken from one whose name he hadnt known until only the day prior. And she hadn’t even called him anything! What was it, then? Why did he care? Ven wanted to stand and pace about. More than that, he wanted a mission. Something to distract him. He wasn’t likely to find any such thing aboard a civilian shuttle, though.
The Tenno leaned back and sighed as he reached to the device at his wrist. A click of a button broadcast his coordinates, updated every second, and now all that was left was to wait. Alone, save for his thoughts. The last thing he needed. He tried to think instead of the dead, yet this only made him madder at himself: because why weren’t they the first that came to mind? His men, his slain comrades, their blood on his hands, like every other soldier he commanded, all the thousands who’d died in his service, and magnitudes more who’d died at his own hands. Why didn’t their faces haunt him? Why didn’t he mourn them? Why, even after it all, why were his first thoughts of what a stranger thought about him?
Ven shuddered. He thought it had been the temp control, or maybe a reaction to some other stimuli, but realized in short order that the shuttle itself had shuddered. The others were looking around, slight panic brewing among confusion. He alone knew. They came fast. The mercenary stood and approached the bay door, waiting as it was forcibly suctioned open. Beyond, a host of familiar faces, upon their ragtag uniforms, the white crossed-swords insignia of his company. Below the symbol were written the words, in flowery Orokin characters: ''We Who Know Peace.''
Near instantaneous upon sight of him, the receivers’ heels clacked together and their hands lifted into salute.
Standing foremost at the group of soldiers was the Warframe Styanax. It lacked face, yet Ven knew who was beneath it. He gripped Barend’s shoulder as he approached, despite being over a full foot shorter than the hoplite-Warframe.
"Welcome home, boss." The man thundered from across the Void. "After we lost contact, we thought…"
Ven sneered. "You’re not getting rid of me that easy, old friend. My quarters still tidy?"
"Aye, boss."
"Good. Good, good…I’m gonna go scrub myself raw."
"What about them, boss?" The passengers, huddled, flinched as the Styanax gestured to them. Ven glanced back and picked at his eyes.
"Them? Uh…well, feed them. Get them where they’re tryna go. Thank them for their cooperation." Ven removed his hand and passed by. As he squeezed through the row of mercs and began down the hallway, Barend called out to him once more.
"Are you going to address the crew, boss?"
"No. No, not this time. I gotta…think on some stuff. Thanks, bud." Like that, without another word and as though he hadn’t been presumed dead for the past couple days, Ven turned a corner and disappeared into the bowels of his ship.

Wilhelm's looking curiously at Lamb just having a quick snack. Something of such blatant disregard for life that isn't of their group should terrify him but he has other thoughts running in his mind.
"I see, those are what bishops are in your world. In mine, they do exist, but lack any kind of magical power they once wielded. Figureheads, at most. They contribute to... sacrifice — metaphorically — in some kind of deluded war their entire country has against magic."
He pauses for a moment and stops the dramatic tone. Maybe Lamb slobbering on raw human raises too many questions before he can continue.

Once its attack settled down he hopes to position himself to drop down and get on its leather bracing like a saddle. The moment he lands he ensnares his own chains against the creatures neck to try and either wrangle control over it or strangle it outright.

Mystery girl yelped as she did her best to avoid the damaging plants, though her summon was less cautious and took some damage. Getting to a more open spot (even if it's only temporarily that way), she fumbled with her journal for someone with more alpha damage. The fairy vanished and in her place appeared a woman in red
◊.
"Leave this to me." she says, hopping on her broom and pulling mystery girl onto the back so they could fly up and away from the plants. She then grinned as she charged up magic in her free hand. "Supergiant: Antares!"
The star magic from her hand flies out and upwards, bursting into a giant red star that is further boosted up by Nameless' buff. She then points down and it crashes down on the lion, exploding spectacularly.

Kanna snickered at Mal's expense.
"An ace is someone with mobile suit piloting skills that stands above the rank and file. They tend to get custom mobile suits and flowery titles to go with it since everyone loves some propaganda." Kana opts to explain. "They call me the Silver Phantom for example. From my personal colors and the fact I had a lot of fun ambushing people."
"Well people also threaten to make others eat their words so that's something for you to think about." she says, giving Ez a non-answer.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Beelzebub
sighs heavily and wearily, as if carrying a bothersome burden on his back. In his defense, while he might not be doing that literally, he's likely doing that mentally. I did not. I will do it after eating. He says, eyes vaguely moving unto the food. He didn't really find it in him to savor it or to savor the company at hands, with Baz moving quickly as if to assert dominance over her inky noodles, but Casper had made it clear he would not be able to eat in peace.
Just so we're clear, if we do takeout, I am getting it. You watch over him. Baz says, sitting down.
Hmph. I have no appetite for takeout. Food is food.
Sukuna
snorts in amusement at the crowd in front of him. Very unkind of you to say that as I wear the face of one of your companions. Or did you have some disdain about him? It's alright, you can tell me. It's not like he'll ever emerge again to hear it. Sukuna says, cracking his fingers.
As Maki come up, Sukuna flickers his head back, listening to the movements of the Neo-Shepherds. It reminds him of skittering bugs.
You're correct, because I won't be using my Domain for you. I'll tear you apart limb from limb with the power of these limbs alone. Sukuna says, raising his arms. Maybe you'll have time to call Satoru Gojo while I'm busy with that. He's the only one who's still of any interest to me at the moment. Sukuna leans backwards as Yuji shoot up at him, dodging his uppercut and dodging Yuji's subsequent bicyle kick by doing one himself, lowering his head and upper body as Yuji spins his leg down until he ends up smashing the back of his foot into Yuji's neck, sending him crashing into the ground.
The youth is up before the smoke clears, angrily rubbing the back of his head.

"Like you'd get rid of me that easily?"
He purrs it out as he rested his head on her shoulder briefly. Like some pampered big cat. Brushing his cheek against hers briefly he looked to Beezlebub, his expression softening slightly as he made his way to the kitchen.
"Beez, with me."
Once they were in the kitchen, Casper took out some noodles from the cabinet, and moved towards the refrigerator, taking out some seasoned chicken, as he let his voice go low.
"...I smelled blood. You ok?"
His voice was quiet, as he got out a pot to get some water going.

Fort Dawnguard
Once the ground floor is safe, Todo jumps up to the balcony to confront Sukuna, only for Reyna to push past him.
She speaks to the King of Curses with surprising confidence for her situation.
"This may sound oddly specific, but you're not the first terrifyingly powerful monstrosity possessing the body of one of our members to come at our fort. The last one that did wreaked havoc on the place and killed tons of people."
"Wait, really?"
She points a finger at Sukuna.
"I don't doubt that you have the strength to do that too, but if you do, you'll cement yourself as an unoriginal repeat of the armored Grima, and not a uniquely dangerous threat. Are you willing to ruin your reputation like that?"
Todo is surprised at her words...but then smiles and joins in.
"That's right! Do you want your legacy of fear to become a legacy of cliché?"
Edited by KiriK on Sep 13th 2025 at 4:11:37 AM
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Sukuna giggles, his shoulders lifting up and down as he delights in giving Corrin an evil as smil as he can.
How so human of you to think of legacies. I do not care how others perceive me or how my influence is felt after death. The only thing that should matter to an individual is their own self. To be concerned with the opinion of cattle is for you sorcerers of the present days.
Sukuna huffs. Amused but trying to hide his irritation. But I will bite. Even if I would distinguish myself by succeeding where the others has failed, I've no interest in tasting a meat I am already familiar with. You, the woman huntress, will be my next target. I'll give you the privilege of fighting me by yourself - should I feel slighted by the interruption of others, I will unleash my Domain and annihilate this place. Sukuna says, pointing to Reyna, leaning back with his finger stretched out.
This is not an offer nor is this a mercy. I will fight this woman. If you refuse, it only means your blood will be shed as well as hers. Would you want this with Julius perhaps watching this little encounter of ours?

ugh Ez says, and as Kana is done, Ez's mood pick up as she laughs a little once Kana is done. thats silly very blasphemous because you you basically have nicknames its kind of funny because its like what i'd do its so funny but also fun you must be a very good pilot even if you have blue that's dark hair so i'd call you purple phantom papa did you have ace too
I was an ace Mal replies. In the clo... in a conflict right before you were born, they called me names. I don't think you'd get a lot of them so I'd say... Blue Blight was one of them. Mal says, with noticeable hesitation around the name. I didn't pick him. Fu-Kriffing humans have no imagination when it come to naming us because they just look at our skin color.
before i was born wow so it was looong ago Ez extends her arms over her head and spread them to the side, almost falling off her seat until Mal casually puts his hand on her back and put her back in place.
I'm surprised you're that... tolerant or unsurprised over my appearance. You look more familiar with the idea of "aliens" than many of your fellows, back in my world.
