Yuta was something of a workaholic.
He couldn’t stay still, because when people in his line of work—Sorcerers—stayed still, they died. He saw it, time and time again. Sensei Gojo was the Strongest. Until he wasn’t.
It wasn’t often that he took time off his personal project. He knew, just as he was working towards DIO, DIO was working towards him, and dwelling in every shadow, the Night’s Fear may lie in wait. When a mission to investigate an anomaly was called in from the Society, it was like a blessing. A chance to rest from the hunt and get out of the city for a while. It helped that they were orders, too — Yuta often found himself so thoroughly dedicated to his craft that he simply refused to take breaks until someone—usually Maki hitting him over the head until he did—forced him to.
He was coming up on the area of the sighting now.
Yuta Okkotsu
slowed to a stop, coming before the two gathered around the creature. His arrival was heralded with a tremendous gust of wind catching up from the last of his great bounds, which had delivered him from the nearest town in just a few minutes. He’d come just in time to overhear the initial interaction. Adjusting his baggy black scabbard where it dangled from his back, Yuta took the driest route to the scene and considered the situation as he did. Shifting its appearance from a distance — that could easily be a manipulated Barrier Technique. If, this thing was a Curse, which was his job to figure out. If not, he was to exercise his judgement in regards to how the situation should be dealt with, but if it were…
Her ring hung from a string around his neck. It was always good to keep her close. Yuta stopped beside Ruo Shan, "Shan-san," he began, accent thick beneath his voice as he spoke to the only of the present trio that had offered a name. "Any idea what we’re talking to?"

Ruo Shan looks suddenely to Yuta, his expression tearing a tad into confusion.
"Do we know eachother?"
As soon as their void-faring companion wrnt towards his sword Ruo Shan trained his gun on the man, his expression furrowing until everyone seemed to calm down... bar the lion.
That's when a solem expression washed over the Dragon Turtle's face
"...is everyone here poor?"
AwawaThe Sorcerer didn’t move as weapons were drawn…not even a breath. Which meant, more likely than not, he was prepared. Though perhaps not as jumpy as his compatriots. Still, Yuta was ready to jump into action to defuse the situation. No reason for anyone to die before they even really knew eachother’s names. Which was why he visibly relaxed as tensions did, though Ruo’s gun remained trained. Then, maybe surprisingly, he laughed at the mercenary’s question. It was an earnest sound, without rudeness or ridicule, and followed by a wide smile. "I do love my job, but…it could pay better, that’s for sure. Still, I wouldn’t say poor." His smile weakened, but it remained in fainter form. "Could you lower your gun, please?"

"All I'm hearing is removing the fucking and the evil to get a place to sleep."
Mark grins when Kayo replied that way but more pressing matters right now. Especially the smell of bread. His aggressive cheery demeanor disappears, his face instantly dropped all expression to it. As they trekked deeper, the Vendor asked, which was only met with annoyance from Mark.
"The hell does that have to do with anything??" He replied with agitation, not wanting to reveal that information outright. Though when he recognized the figures outside he stops to look at them further.
Seeing William disturbed him but there can be an explanation. Back home, people talked about him in a variety of ways. He was a well known figure in his adventures and the stories he's told when he has time to visit home only corroborates that further. But seeing Nick beside him made him realize this is too personalized for it to be a coincidence.
His head, buried in thought, was suddenly jolted back to reality when hearing the voice.

"Oh thank God!" Nick is genuinely relieved to get away from the initial beam by holding onto Rocky. When Luin's creature takes damage and skids across, he falls and rolls out. This wrecks his ability to maintaining the dirtmen he created and they crumble.
"Stop..." He mutters under his breath, he closes his eyes while pressing his palms against the earth. Deeply concentrating as two gigantic legs of compact soil erupt from the earth to try and slam their heels against the Gravios. On impact, the hands would immediately break apart from Nick consequently stumbling over and losing grip of the ground.

The Medicine Vendor heard the voices, just as Kayo and Mark glared towards the ruined stove. The man raised a deep breath, his ears perking just enough that when they were lowered against his head, it didn't immediately look intimidating.
"I only ask... because this isn't anything familiar to me and Kayo's own fears. Which means... it'd yours."
Just as he said that, the stone lifted itself from the ruined oven. Burning coals. Bricks that began to shake and runble soon parted as from the embers rose... things of flesh. Things that rose The Medicine Vendor's eyes, as those things of flesh began to germinate... they began to multiple their mass-
Into Fetal Visages with wide maws. Kayo at first was stunned, her mouth dry as her body shifted into one of hesitation. But without warning, she began to fire into the creatures as they ominously floated forward, her gun practically atomizing them into a midst. The Medicine Vendor never drew his sword, but he quickly recognized the creatures and reached for the blade-
"I already know you-"
But then the wall facing the field of the bakery collapsed, and both the floating creatures with razorwire tails and the two mystics, wrre buried under wood, glass, and brick.
Mark was the only one left standing, as he saw that Nick's and William's scarecrows had been... shredded. And the stone they were before was now cracked... without its chains...
And without the furred mass. As Kayo and The Medicine Vendor proceeded to try and sit up our of the wreckage, both surprisingly banged up, Kayo was the first to look his way, her hair fallen over half her face, obscuring her vision-
But she saw something he couldn't see.
"LOOK OUT!"
Her voice was strained, worried, urgent-
And accompanied by the sudden feeling of Mark either facing a chain speeding at his face, or a torso sized rock hitting his side. It came hard, fast, stronger than what he could do with brute force on his side alone.
And if he was to finish tumbling over the ground...
He'd see it.
It was hulking, a good 9 feet over him, covered in white hair and having a flowing mane of dark black hair, like some grunge spirit, resting over its neck. It's face was vaguely reptilian, resembling a external skull, as it narrowed eyes within armored sockets at him. Green eyes. His eyes. Staring back from this beast. Beneath its eyes were markingd like twars, and behind its brow a pair of horns like a bull moose's rack.
It's burly arms were pelted beyond its massive, black scaled hands. It looked like it's plumage had made a gown, a cloak that largely obscured it's feet and tail. Its arms were wrapped in chain, leading to a metal thin between its shoulders and the swell of its back. Only a leather matt cushioned the apparatus seemingly riveted into its flesh.
Rivets... it had rivets like railroad spikes driven into its flesh...the chains were attached to cranks in this apparatus, keeping the arms bound...
But not immovable.
And with another roar, a cry like thunder, it sent a chain with a block as thick as Mark's chest hurling his way-

She'd start leading them down past the hangars, snoopy techs immediately inspecting Mal's Zilmo without actively tampering with anything yet.
"Ya know I sometimes forget you're from a totally different universe on top of being an alien." she says, poking Mal's chest. "The Earth Sphere is the region of space which encompasses the Earth, the Moon, and all colonies orbiting them along the Lagrange points of said Moon."
"Earth is our homeworld but it's also where the enemy, the Feddies, lives." she shrugs. "Spacenoids like us in Zeon live in the colonies, fighting for independence."

Sitting on a chair opposite of the restaurant, Lucky Violet marks off something on her list.
"Seems like I've got everything in case they try to make me leave. Proof aplenty that he's in there, and that they clearly know. If word got out who works at that place it'd be a massive hit to their reputation."
She pockets the list. She wasn't just gonna open with threats, that rarely goes well. Even with her luck she wouldn't push that. No, this is meant to be a last resort.
She hops off of her chair and finally, after weeks of observation, she actually enters the Grand Resurrection. She'd chosen this time because she knows Ken Tahn is usually not working in the restaurant during this time. Better to ease him into her glorious retu-... hm. How many times had they reunited out of seemingly nowhere again?
No matter. She looks at the nearest employee, who also happens to be the boss, and she approaches him. She doesn't know if he'd actually ever noticed her observing from afar, so she decides to just start things off casually.
"Good evening, sir. Could I have some orange juice? I hope it's not too late for me to order yet."
'Too late'. Yeah, right. This place sometimes stays open until nighttime, and she knows that.

Ruo Shan flinched a tad seeing "seraphic", but also the fact there was some sort of.. UI? That... that was more odd to him than the lion. He let out a grimace, and immediately continued to aim down at the lion, his bill snapping shut as he powered up a charge, and immediately fired a beam of molten charge at the lion in a straight line. The jet of flame he hoped would collide with the creature and keep it busy with the hardening slag over its coat, as he than shouted to the other four.
"Its a spirit beast! Open fire!"
And with that he'd begin to load up more rounds, preparing for a kore traditional series of rapid fire to desvend on the beast.
Glint
Hearing that, he cracked a smile.
"Ah... of course."
He'd turn around to face the wall, lowering the hum of his core. And pretended to keep his mind busy. It wasn't... all pretend. He was very aware of social cues... he could read a room pretty aptly and be able to blend in very well. Didn't mean he mixed in.
Twas a lonely existence, but he managed. All he could do now was begin to create something with the light in his core.
He made himself... a plush. Well, it functioned as a plush. But it was something old that mattered to him, that he had stored all this time. The plush depicted a sturgeon-esque reptile with plated body and thin tail.
A smile gently washed over his face as he held it close to his chest... and let Hachi have her rest.

Mal grabs Ez and set her down on the ground, taking her by the hand as he walks with her and Kana. He has to slouch to the side a bit to be able to do so, but her tight squeeze on his hand reminds him that she would much rather like feeling like she's holding unto her father. So he accepts the brief discomfort to his spine. He combines that with the fact that Ez walks ahead, oblivious to the fact she'll need Kana to guide her around the place.
But little do either know, Ez knows it. She doesn't have a precise map of the facility at hand but she knows where to go, who to avoid bumping into and the good corner to get to the gourmet food.
waz gourmay
Fancy food. Knowing Kana, she probably had lower tastes than the average, but sadly for Mal, Ez wasn't a picky eater. He couldn't always get her the right meals - and protein intake and general health mattered to him more than taste. Still, Ez didn't seem hesitant, perhaps out of habit, perhaps because she knew Penelope's castle would reward her with much better food, making it easier to stomach the rest.
Hehe, stomach. You get it?
are you trying to play tag with papa? Ez asks, confused at Kana's gesture. For his part, Mal snorts playfullyand try to tap Kana on the head.

Oh, yeah, she definitely wasn't from his universe. He had no idea with "Earth" was. As far as he knew, humans came from planets like Coruscant or Alderaan. Not Earth.
Earth? Seriously? Geez, with naming conventions like that, I'm surprised you don't just call Mobile Suits "big moving metal". He says, half-affectionally. But I guess that the Earth Sphere is pretty small then, if it's just the planet, its moon and the colonies. Mal said. Maybe the moon was really distant?
Huh. Any reason why you're fighting with the other humans on Earth? Did they push you out or something? I think that happened to the Mandalorians. Is Earth like... a nice planet? Mal says, preparing to trauma dump on Kana.

After a moment, the two Outlaws adopt more relaxed stances before walking out of the ring together. Vi offers Jason a grin.
"God, you'd make such a killing in Zaun's fight club, Red," she says. "So, how are we feeling? Better? More pissed off?"
Jason grabs a pair of water bottles from one of the rings steps, tossing one to Vi as he knocks back a refreshing swig.
"Let's just say I really needed this spar," he says, approaching a nearby bench and taking a seat.
Vi sits down beside him, looking concerned.
"Yeah, trust me, I know exactly how you're feeling right now," she says. "At least you weren't the one who made him that way..."
Jason turns to meet her gaze.
"You think if Powder ever comes-"
"Jinx. Powder fell down a well," Vi corrects, making no effort to disguise the bitterness and remorse in her voice.
Jason simply nods.
"If Jinx ever shows up here, you think you'll be able to do what needs to be done?"
Vi exhales a quiet sigh.
"Yeah. It's gonna break my fucking heart, but... I realized she was too far gone a long time ago, Jason," she says. "Whenever the hell that day comes, I'll put her out of her misery."
Jason places a hand on her shoulder.
"And after that, if you feel like blowing off steam or getting wasted, well... you won't even need to ask, Vi," he says.
Vi shows him a grateful look.
"Thanks. Tell you what, after we hit the showers, we drop by the first bar we see and knock back the best damn booze they've got," she suggests. "Sound good?"

Ez will feel drawn to a building off past the landing strip, labelled MESS. Must be filthy...
"Eh. Nobody in history felt like changing the name. Weird definition of small you got though." Kana says to him, frowning slightly. "And Spacian is whatever. As for why we're fighting..."
"Well back when I was a kid, mom and pops told me about how due to overpopulation; the Feddies started basically kicking people out into the space colonies." Kana mused, looking up at the sky as they walked. "Needless to say this led to people getting all ticked off. Especially since the colonies had very little say in policy compared to the rich people left on Earth."
"Out comes Zeon Deikun, preaching about how colonies should be independent and how a new type of human will evolve in space. People latched onto that and started following him." she recounts, chuckling. "Mom and pops included, even though we lived in Side 6 at the time."
"Then he dies under 'mysterious' circumstances. His right hand Degwin Zabi declares himself his successor and everyone in Side 3 thinks the Feddies did it. All sorts of fun rioting ensued." Kana smirked at this part. At this point they're right outside the "mess" and can see it's a mess hall. Tables all over the place and a connected kitchen with a line of people getting their grub. "Ya know I've done some nasty things but so far it hasn't included using a mobile tank in riot control."

'Nelson', huh?
"I'm an old friend of his. He and I go way back."
It sounds like a lame, easy excuse but given Tahn's past that definitely sounds possible.
"But we got separated back in our world and I want to see him again. I'm sure he's been worried sick about me too."
He hasn't mentioned her once to Majima.
"If you'd prefer I wait up here, could you at least tell him that 'Lucky Violet' is here to see him?"
Riften
... normally Tharja would just go 'what am I looking at here', shrugs and leave out if disinterest. Even the cat ears don't strike her as very odd seeing as Taguel exist. But...
A magic staff of some kind? Tattoos? Talk about a failure? Could she be a fellow user of Elder Magic?
The normally asocial mage approaches the cat-eared girl.

Majima nods. "Lei, would you mind?"
Lei gives a thumbs-up, then springs off the ground and dashes all the way into the play room in a blur.
"Nelson! You got a 'Lucky Violet' here to see you!"
Riften
"O-oh...I'm sorry for the disturbance..."
Still down on her knees, the girl grabs her staff.
"I...was practicing flying. I wanted to fly the way witches do, on a broom. But it's just not working. No matter how many times I try, no matter what flight spells I learn..."
She hangs her head.
"It must be because I'm cursed..."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."The Grand Resurrection
Now, if there's one thing that's very well known it's that 'Nelson' loves to sing. Tahn's bandits know it, Lucas and Claus know it, pretty much everyone who observed him in Pseudo's base know it. And by this point Thief King Bakura, Lei, Majima and Hugo probably know it too. And with the karaoke evenings/nights here he can sing his heart out.
So it may catch Lei a bit by surprise that the still-singing Tahn, upon hearing the name 'Lucky Violet', stops singing instantly while still in mid-pose, facing away from the door and thus Lei, leaving her unable to see his expression right away.
Hugo, who's sitting on a table nearby, is in the correct position to see it, and he looks worried for a moment.
Tahn lowers the mic and then passes it to the next person in line before turning around with a smile. Had Majima been the one to come get him, he would've been able to tell that the smile isn't entirely real. But Lei hasn't known him for long, she likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference and realize how conflicted he's feeling.
"Can you tell her I'll be right there?", he asks Lei, a slight stiffness to his voice. This she may catch.
Riften
Tharja chuckles, intrigued.
"Huhuhu... cursed, you say? If that's true, then maybe I can help you. I'm an expert on the matter. And in return... you could explain what exactly you mean with 'flight spells'."

Lei puts on a strained smile of her own.
"This is gonna be rough..."
She hurries back up and relays the message.

"W-wait...really? But I've...tried so many things. I'm pretty sure the curses are unbreakable."
Curses, plural? This just gets more and more interesting.

Ez seems not to understand what they're talking about, nodding and smiling as if she was keeping up with the conversation. And when the Federation is brought up, she looks mildly neutral to Mal's gulping.
he wanna do what Ez says, not bothering to hide her voice, but thankfully not being very loud due to her asking the question neutrally and being a small child speaking in a zone full of heavy machines being worked on. Nonetheless, Mal puts his index in front of her lips, and she seems to understand what he means, griping his finger between her hands and closing her eyes.

Huh, you got any food in that base? I've got some but... it was an excuse to go deeper in and get to talk without having heavy machinery around but if she didn't, Mal reached into his pocket and pulled out a wrapped candy, which he gave to Ez, letting her untangle it.
She notably did so using the Force, actually letting go of Mal's head and holding her hands up to unwrap the pink bubble and then have it enter her mouth, at which point, she chews on it.
