Grima
Reyna nods to Nicole, then leaps for the Hierophant, summoning her Insect Glaive back to her hand...
And potentially impaling the Hierophant through the head from behind with it. If that happens, she grabs the tip of the blade and the neck of the polearm and twists, intent on snapping Robin's neck.
Alear suddenly flash-steps in front of Corrin as Higher Ground activates, projecting a barrier of fell energy to tank the Expiration meant for the Eclipse Dragon. When fighting in this manner, she gets Def/Res+4...
Not that it matters much against a critical hit.
The blast sends her tumbling down, nearly falling off Grima's back again, only this time she stabs her sword into him to stop herself from falling.
Se'arah eats shit, getting blasted back. She manages not to fall, and rushes in again to attack Grima's head with a leaping Sol uppercut.
RF!Anna has arrived. She promptly switches her Variable Energy Blade to Bow Mode and fires a javelin-sized arrow at Grima.

Corrin flinches, about to be smacked hard by Grima's attack!
Only for Alear to intercept, surprising her. She gasps as she watches her get sent flying, sighing in relief when she manages to catch herself.
Then feeling anger as she turns to glare at the Hierophant. She growls as she breathes in, then spits out a purple Frenzy breath attack!

Shadow stands in the doorway to the Kaibas' hotel room, smiling to the three.
"Well, it was a heck of a time getting the food, but, ah, at least I got some decent information out of the deal, and I know that Bakura, and some other people of interest, so to speak, are in good hands. Food isn't half-bad either. Hope you don't mind that I'm taking my portion to go. Got family back home to share with, you know how it is."
"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-StalkerThe Expiration catches Robyn squarely in the chest, sending her crashing onto her back with a pained grunt as the Dagda's Fury clatters to the floor.
"Shite, that hurt," she growls, recalling her sword to her grasp and hauling herself back up. "Alright... I got a better idea fer ya."
Returning her fiery blade to its sheathe, she barrels straight towards the Heirophant in attempt to grab hold of Grima's avatar, lift her off her feet, and execute a devastating Manhandle Slam.
"STAY FUCKIN' DEAD!" she yells, emphasizing her point by moving to kick the Hierophant away afterwards. "It'll save ya from gettin' yer twisted arse kicked again and again!"
With the Wyvern Risen all taken care off, Nicole swoops down upon the Heirophant to deliver a divebomb attack, only to be intercepted by an Expiration and summarily floored.
"Crap... Corry, if you tell me you've been sleeping on some Grima-busting technique until now, you'd make my whole friggin' day," she remarks, taking a moment to rise back to her feet.
While the Hierophant is presumably busy fighting off the others, Nicole rushes in before attempting to slash her across the face with Yato.
"I thought you'd be tossing us around like ragdolls and beating us senseless way more! Guess you weren't as high up on the Grima totem pole as I thought."
Severus seemingly blasts the ground before him with an upwards ice beam, summoning a sizable wall of ice to shield the defending group from the Bolganone barrage. With a flick of his wrist, he retaliates by sending said ice wall barreling straight towards the Risen.
Maki actually hops onto Severus' ice wall, clinging to the side until it reaches the enemy ranks. She leaps off and attempts to deliver a mighty diving slash to any Risen that might've evaded the mage's countersttack.

Kaiba nods to Shadow. While his expression is... well, the usual, he's grateful for this information.
"We'll see you again later!", Mokuba says, waving a little. Noah's way of saying goodbye is a nod as well, just like Kaiba's. ... best not to point out that they're more similar than they'd like to admit.

"Catch you on the flipside, triple-Ks!"
And with that, he's off, teleporting a short distance away to take a breather before moving on to his next errand. He takes note of the bag in his hand, and rolls his eyes.
"This can wait."
He clicks his fingers, storing the food in a pocket dimension, while grumbling to himself.
"It's like every time I try to take some me-time, some other wannabe overlord decides now would be the time to drop in and wreck stuff. First that one who got dusted before I could even react, and now..."
He blinks, processing what he's felt during his errands.
"...ah, heck, I recognize that signature. And that Thu'um? That's not even from the same world! Rrgh, if this is still going on by the time I'm done with my other things, I might have to get involved."
Tilting his head, he picks up on another signature, narrowing his eyes.

Some distance outside of the city, in a more private mountainous area, Mara is pacing back and forth, seemingly grumbling to herself.

She takes a momentary pause.
"... yes... yes... I should try to stay calm. But that's hard to do when I'm not allowed to work off my stress, so to say!"
"Focus? ... wait."
She starts actively sensing in a large area around herself. Shadow may actually be able to notice that she senses him too not long after he sensed her. But even if he doesn't, Mara is immediately more on guard once she senses Shadow's presence.

Reaching the fourth floor the smell of copper was suffocating, and they could hear a very quiet humming...
And judging by the Night Weaver's body language... he seemed on edge. Its eye socket teavelled to the many doors... humming coming from four of them. The one furthest to the right in the hall, yet four doors away from the window, had cloth snaking out and creeping over the floorboards like a mold.

AwawaGrima's back
Samsara and Lucina's eyes widen, but Lucina puts herself in front of Samsara at the last moment, using Falchion to partially protect her vitals (like the head, heart or lungs) while counting on sheer resilience to tank the rest. However, this being a critical hit at point-blank, it means she's sent flying, her impact barely cushioning the hit for Samsara, who's at least... wounded instead of having grisly holes punched into her like Lucina.
Lucina still try getting up even as she's sent flying and left laying to the ground, but before she can complete that, Samsara gets up and gently put an hand on her shoulder, holding her down, blood trinkling down her face as she glances down at Lucina.
Beruka and Morgan were able to dodge the Expiation by way of being at range, but they swoop down to try to shield Lucina, with Morgan feebly reaching for a single healing potion. Samsara stands behind them, eyeing Grima's unnatural resurrection.
... Grima. You were shocked at us getting stronger. I think you should have saved that surprise for a bit later. Samsara says, raising her arm, dark glyphs creeping up the length of her flesh before the magic tears her sleeve apart, forming an intense orb of Fell Energy over the palm of her hands. She finally opens her eyes to reveal they're red and with a slit in the middle, like her father's.
In my world, you didn't think I'd do that too. And that's your true downfall - an immortal parasite like you can't fathom us poor mortals risking our meager lives to stop you. But I will. And you're about to die because of that. Says Samsara, leaning back, the energy build around her growing more intense, as does the energy orb she's holding.
Sukuna raises an eyebrow in amused irritation.
Seeing this, Lucina shouts to protest but end splitting blood, while Morgan just stares slack-jawed, terrified at what's going to happen. Only Beruka has soldier-like commitement to the cause, eyes widening as she suddenly blitz towards Grima with her insect wings and a bit of devillish speed, growing a metal liquid spike around her arm as she attempts to shove it into Grima's chest before she flips forward, slipping her arm out of the spear as she try pinning Grima down while getting herself out of the line of fire.
... It was an honor, Samsara.
Revan
Scratch the back of her head, then check into a pocket of her imposing robe. She hoped it wasn't broken - she'd hate to really owe any more debts to the amazing individual standing before her. But luckily for her pride and Nymbulda's, she did pick out a phone-like device. Although it was rather shockingly large and almost crude looking, looking like something from the 80s or 90s would conjure when thinking of a mobile phone.
There were numbers on it, with a big green button, a big red button, an arrow pointing backwards and a few symbols. On it was a screen as well, which took up a sizable amount of space.
This is the latest in communicative technology! She said, sounding proud of her ownership of one.
Baz
Shakes her head.
I don't know what imps are. I'm pretty sure admitting that I'm scared of monsters would have gotten me fed to them on Dromund Kaas. Baz spoke, still holding tightly unto Casper's hand.
If you aren't running, then I'm not either. We've overcome worse odds, haven't we? She said, smiling, before pointing her blaster. And you owe me a pizza tonight still.

William observes the three paths. He's uncertain. He can't just peer through and just listens to Eve and Elizabeth then trails behind the former. Hopefully Lan can catch up some time. If the roots were anything to go by, only Jolyne would be able to pass unaffected.
Speaking of.
"Hey, how come you weren't affected by those roots?" He avoids any and all eye contact when asking for some reason and hopes she picks up on the cue that she was indirectly mentioned.
realRevan's Repair Conflict
Nymbulda looked at the device before her mildly perturbed. She had seen these on the reservations, and the old bus stops back home. Yet this one seemed a tad bit more modern... if also somehow more retro than the real deal. Revan and her mech clashed in style and yet the color uniformity was rather stunning. For a brief moment, Nymbulda felt embarrassed at her envy. To move with such style. Until she considered the person she was envious of had just seemingly been crashing through their atmosphere, chased by some of the most evil looking suits she had ever seen.
So maybe Nymbulda just dealing with the psychopaths at ground level was good enough.
Remembering Luthor's number, shs began to dial it up, loving the texture and sounds of this retro-communication.
"Oh girl this thing is adorable! I might have to get one!"
Before dialing up Lex, quickly looking to Revan.
"Calling up my sponsor good madam... he works in fields like this I believe."
The Derelicts
As the cloth began to grow, Night Weaver looked back at Baz, and she could see a protectiveness in that hollow glare, his mane bristling as his mouth split into four seperate parts, letting out a silent growl. The insides of Night Weaver's throat gloves blue, as pharyngeal jaws quietly snapped. He quickly spat some silk to keep one of the doors from opening. The massive amount of glowing webbing held the door in place, as it began to crash. One door opened, the sound of scraping as metal blades scratched the wooden floorboards below them.
"ᵢₘₚₛ ₐᵣₑ bₒᵣₙ fᵣₒₘ ₚₒwₑᵣfᵤₗ ₑₘₒₜᵢₒₙₛ. ᵢf gᵢᵥₑₙ ₜₕₑ ᵣᵢgₕₜ cᵢᵣcᵤₘₛₜₐₙcₑₛ ₐ ₗₒcₐₜᵢₒₙ bₑcₒₘₑₛ ₘₐᵣₖₑd wᵢₜₕ ₐ dₑₑₚ ₜᵣₐᵤₘₐ₋"
The door opened-
-But the Iszs need a way to escape to the real world. So they materialize in the area of traumas... the whole time seeking their quarry!
The Maxx hears the scraping and was now bounding up the third flight after his investigation, practically running on all fours up the stairs.

The creatures revealed themselves. Vaguely humanoid but their posture made their spines parallel the form than stand upright. They bore metal carapace like a knight modeled after a weevil, and anything organic resembled bone.
and they stared back at Baz
◊ with weapons raised, with one suddenly flying forwards sword in hand. Their elytra was like cloth, and they swung rather gracefully towards Baz. Aiming for the throat, it was the pharyngeal jaws of Night Weaver that shot forth and dragged the creature into his maw, immediately splitting the armor and beginning to feed quickly. Dropping the husk they got to work, creating threads of strong silk that caught the dead imp and began to use it as a flail as more then dozens poured out of the two remaining doors.
The Imps were vicious, though each one was formidably armed, they worked more like a mob rather then a cohesive force. Rather it was the dsrl blue cloth crawling atop the walle and floor that tripes to drip both Baz and Night Weaver. Quickly grabbing an impish sword the Night Weaver, using its supernatural reflexes, cut a initial piece off of Baz's leg. The living fabric seemingly trying to find a new front to attack.
"ₛₕₒₒₜ ₜₕₑₘ ₐₙd ₐᵢₘ fₒᵣ ₜₕₑ cₗₒₜₕ Bₐz, ᵢ'ᵥₑ gₒₜ yₒᵤᵣ bₐcₖ!"
At the same time, another door opened, its own horde of Imps pouring forth from the far left. But before they could recah Night Weaver and Baz, a purple suited weirdo jumped in, shouting in a semi-dopey manner:
"Leave the Shaman of All and The Dragonscale Cenobite alone!"
Their yellow claws strikes the chest of the Imps, piercing the armored hides of the armed minions. He would drag the blades out before spinning back around to catch one by thr mouth, slamming them down to the ground before stomping their head clean off.

Mal's speed does mean he manages to take out the unfortunate Quint he targeted, spilling energon all over his mobile suit from his attack. #4 attempted to avenge him but got tackled by the sizable saurian, attempting to blast him point blank as Thorsig then jumped in and began stabbing at its face. Lacking the leverage to knock him off means they manage to take the Quint out, only for another cephalopodic foe (#6) to fire an energon blast at Little Guy from the flank!
Maul meanwhile managed to snipe #1 but 2 and 5 were faster. #2 attempted to melee rush him with metal tentacles ready to stab into him whilst 5 fired an energon beam at the purple lion.
Medicine Man meanwhile could see through the entranceway were two Sharkticons, looking bored but suddenly alert at the sounds of combat outside.
They seem not very smart.

Veyolkos growled as water crashed against him, threatening to pin him to the very wall he was trying trying get the Gravios to strike. Eyes narrowing, he looked at the massive wyvern. Just like Avluudahg, charging in with all your fire power on display.
Veyolkos would begin to free himself from the jet of water,
and as soon as the Gravios got in range, jumped ip and climbed up it's back. Looking to the overhang, a panthurine pounced onto its edge shpuld be enough to trigger the avalanche of debris. All that mattered now was Veyolkos quickly gliding down from the rockslide, talons poised to catch the Saurus, though the Laitivern decided to kand beside them and nudge them with his snout.

The Medicine Vendor only had so much on his person at this instance. The formidable jaws of these opponents was less than desirable to deal with. But he could spare some...
Bubble blowing. Quickly taking out a little bottle and uncorking it revealed the bubble wand, and he'd bsgin to blow into it. Small cute bird, rabbit, and frog-shaped bubbles floated around the Sharkticons, practically bobbing in place around their metal lined maws. If this distracted them, the Medicine Vendor would crawl around the edges of the wall, and slink past the two without a sound.
The laser shot to Little Guy got a pained roar from him, before huffing as his nostrils flared. Burning flesh was seen atop his hide, the impact of the beam sizzling past his epidermal layer. The Little Guy began to drum his forelimbs across the earth, energy coalescesing as a ghostly aqua-teal, travelling up his limbs.
The energy travelles up his spine, and then with his tail, he swung his tail forward. Energy coalesced around the tail club, slamming into the firing Quintesson with a batter's swing.

AwawaThe Path
At that strange voice's words (again), Lan just lets out a tired, mirthful chuckle. He's still badly burned, and it would seem his state of rather bad injury is finally starting to catch up with him.
"Oh so this thing knows. That's great- that's great."
When Lan is released, he stands back up, taking a vial of a sky-blue liquid from his bag and downing it. Lan's skin quickly starts to heal, the burnt flesh rapidly healing back to its prior state. He then wraps a scrap of cloth around his bleeding left hand, red seeping through the white but stopping before it soaks all the way through.
Notably, part of his face doesn't heal- instead, it has scarred over, leaving a mark over his right eye.
Doesn't seem to be hurting him anymore, though. He glances over at Elizabeth at her question...
"-huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Mostly. I mean, I probably just pissed off something but that's something I can worry about later."
As they walk towards the next tunnel, Lan looks up at the roots. He frowns.
"...uhuh. Not falling for that one again. One mental breakdown is enough."
Pointing his knife forward, he shifts his stance as the runes upon the blade begin to glow- before a shimmering mote of flame is shot out, aiming to burn the roots or force them to move.
...if they don't, he'll still have to walk through.
aeiou: the secondGrima
Most of the Risen get shredded by Severus' ice projectiles, with Maki, Tharja, Walhart and the Death Knight finishing off the stragglers. F!Morgan provides another Rally Spectrum for the group, knowing this isn't over.
More Risen spawn in, Generals this time, but then something else happens too: Morgan appears in the area that the group first warped to. Some Risen turn to him, clearly about to attack him, but a blast of Thoron lightning from Morgan sends them flying.
"Ah, he's chosen to join us here after all." , the Death Knight says, sounding pleased.
Walhart turns and pauses for a moment, eyes narrowing at the boy, sensing that something is odd. Morgan's got his hood up and is looking at both of his hands, then takes off his gloves.
Morgan looks at both the symbols, one on each hand. The Mark of Naga on one, and the Mark of Grima on the other. Opposing marks held by his respective families.
"..."
—
Morgan excitedly tossed the book he'd been reading upwards. He'd found it. He'd finally found the way to perform a ritual he'd been looking for.
He had mentioned wanting to be rid of his Fell Mark to his female counterpart right after the Fell Tactician had chosen to 'visit' them. Morgan had spent the time afterwards in the Neo Shepherds' library to see if there was a way to do so.
And it turns out that yes, there is a way to do it. An incantation is required, and the user has to be able to wield powerful enough magic, but with those combined he would be able to remove the Fell Mark.
He'd put the book back in its place and ran down the hall, eager to tell the other Morgan of his discovery. But then he stopped in place as he heard people talking from behind a door. He leaned against the wall and eavesdropped.
...
The Einherjar are coming this way? ... Grima is coming here?
... if he were to do the ritual now, he'd be too exhausted to help them fight. And he wanted to help them. He wanted to show them that he's vehemently on their side now.
The ritual would have to wait. This comes first. And after the battle ended, Morgan would finally be free of this curse.
—
Morgan closes his eyes, the upper half of his face still obscured by his hood. He begins to mutter something, then seems to wince as he drops to one knee. But he keeps muttering despite the seeming pain, and most of the group holding back the Einherjar (as the other group wouldn't see him yet) will likely be confused by what he's doing.
...
Everyone except Tharja, whose expression is one of pure shock.
"Such an advanced hex... the boy, he... he is rejecting his blood."
"He's what?", Einherjar F!Morgan asks.
"He's going to revoke one of his marks, giving up on the blessings and strengths of said mark... and embrace the other to empower it to a pure state. It's a hex that rarely sees use for obvious reasons... and one that cannot be reversed."
"Hm. So the boy is finally rejecting Grima completely. To show him that he holds no more control over him.", Walhart says. He seems a little proud now.
But then Tharja narrows her eyes.
"No, it's the other way around. He's revoking the Mark of Naga."
"... what?", Walhart asks with a growl, looking back at Morgan.
The Mark of Naga is losing its glow, while the Mark of Grima is glowing brighter. Tharja is right.

Reyna's trick works, resulting in a neck-snapped Hierophant...
Only for energy from Grima to flow directly into the Hierophant, prompting her to grab her head and twist it back into place.
... gross.
She begins to cast another dark magic wall, this time to block Se'arah, Robyn and Corrin. With the latter being a dragon, the Hierophant doesn't want to take any risks.
However, RF!Anna's enormous arrow destroys the wall of dark magic upon impact, resulting in a slash from Nicole hitting its mark.
She holds her face and hisses, then pauses when Samsara creates an orb of Fell Energy. And due to her shock and attention being directed at her, she can't react to Beruka's sudden attack, resulting in her being pinned down against her own true body by the spike.
"If you do this, I will drag you down to hell with me! You will NOT get lucky AGAIN! These breaths would be the last ones you ever take!" , the Hierophant shouts. But it's doubtful that this would make Samsara hesitate at all.
... but then the area seems to start lightning up, and looking up reveals that Grima's head is charging up a dark blast. One much stronger than any attack the Hierophant has used before.
Without waiting for a single moment, Grima suddenly fires a true Expiration at the group, enough power behind that attack to completely annihilate-
Shattering glass. Time gets reversed before the attack connects. Unfortunately Sothis can't pin-point the exact moment to when it gets reversed, resulting in time going back until Beruka goes on the attack.
This time, the Hierophant dodges Beruka's spike attack, then immediately rushes towards Samsara, a feral expression of fury on her face.
"THEN THE ONLY ONE I HAVE TO KILL IS YOU! WHEN I KILL YOU, I WIN!" , she roars, coating her hands in dark magic to form claws. The rest is going to have to defend Samsara. A perfect opportunity has been lost, but it was a necessary act. Had Sothis done nothing, they would have all died before Samsara could've finished the Hierophant off.
Grima's head charges up Expiration again, only for the Immaculate One to intervene this time, ramming against his head and blasting him right in the eye, resulting in a painful-sounding screech. Having had enough of her, Grima now starts launching blasts at the Immaculate One, trying to shoot her out of the air.
... But then he pauses for just a moment, glancing at Sothis.
"RISKING YOUR LIVES FOR ONE ANOTHER, SHE SAID..."
Sothis looks alarmed, and all of a sudden Grima shoots not at her, nor the Immaculate One, nor Seteth and Flayn... but at Fort Dawnguard, which still houses various people, including Tremont.
Fort Dawnguard is obliterated, only for Sothis to immediately reverse time again to before the attack to save it and the people inside.
However... she's looking exhausted now. She may only have one time reversal in her. And a cruel grin seems to form on the dragon's face. The parasite now fully understands what Samsara meant and he's using it to his advantage.
If he can land one more attack that would require a time reversal, Sothis would no longer be able to stop Grima from going through the portal.
Grima would just have to make Sothis reverse time one more time before Samsara can kill the Hierophant.

Attempting to distract Grima, Reyna tells the Hierophant something meant to cause a shock.
"Technically we have access to someone who could simply rewind your personal timeline until before you were created, erasing you from existence."
She doesn't mention the fact that this someone will only step in if Kirrey allows it, and Kirrey hates his own allies too much to let such a powerful asset loose.
But still, if the threat of that power being unleashed makes Grima hesitate long enough for Samsara to do what she's gotta do, Reyna will count that as a win.
Alear hoists herself up and back onto Grima's...well, back. She notices what Samsara is trying to do, but ignores it and simply slashes at the Hierophant with her sword, hoping her own Fell energy can accomplish something. She doesn't quite get the gimmick.
RF!Anna tries to shoot out one of Grima's eyes with another arrow, while Se'arah stays back, realizing how little she's able to contribute and pissed about that.

Beruka and the rest of the group are helpless to stop Grima's attack from destroying them all and die in a manner thankfully too quick for agony to set in.

Having to suddenly realize that she's been rewound back from full corporal death throws Beruka off-timing, and with the Hierophant's speed, it isn't hard for Beruka to be dodged. As she races at Samsara, though, Beruka try intercepting her by launching her spike at the ground. Unsure on being able to pierce Grima's hide, she transform it into goo that latch on, with Beruka using a goo-thread to swing herself back around and swing right back at the Hierophant, attempting to slam her two feet into the back of her skull.
She try making it a Black Flash but fails, failing to land the correct hit on the correct.
Morgan try to intercept Robin with a sword while Lucina gains the willpower to enter Hyper Mode, attempting to brutally impale her on Falchion to pin her down for Samsara.
But it's all for nothing. Grima's true form slams into Dawnguard and destroys it as Sukuna laughs.

Beruka then try slamming the Hierophant into its own hide using that kick, attempting to pin her down by pinning the back of her throat with a fierce kick and standing unto her, hands joined together in a particular shape, fingers joined together apart from the pinkies, which are extended, if still joined together at the tips.
DO IT! NOW! She yells to Samsara, who doesn't wait - she immediately try slamming the attack down unto the Hierophant!

Corrin blinks, feeling deja vu after the time rewinding and a bit discombobulated. Even more so when the second one hits as she's preparing an attack. What in the Abyss is going on here?
She shakes her head. No time to be distracted. She takes a deep breath and hesitantly... lets the Frenzy flow through her as her eyes glow purple, similarly colored horns sprouting from her forehead as she charges the Hierophant. Both wingarms appear and rather than swinging Yato as usual she instead leaps up and smashes down at Grima with both draconic limbs, ending on a purple breath explosion!
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."DISTRICT 13
Or, the district of flashing lights, as it was often known — and for good reason. The people of District 13 didn’t know night as most knew it; night wasn’t a time of darkness, but rather of activity, fluorescence illuminating the city like trees in a forest. In fact, some parts of the city, in the shadow of babelesque towers and freeway bridges, didn’t even know the sun’s light at all. They lived only in darkness save for the neon that lit their world like bioluminescence in the deepest parts of the sea. Indeed, District 13 had defeated night.
And it was in one of these areas of the city, cast in eternal night, that the newest club had opened up. Its outside was marked with extreme sigils of neon-red pentagrams, stone statues of bare-chested men and women sporting horned heads and dark wings, and inverted crosses. Over all this, in flaming holographic letters and bracketed on both sides by arms with the left pointing dual fingers upwards and the right downwards, was its name: "SODOM’S SIN" The club’s owners certainly had no intention of subtly about their themes.
Still, the building’s provocative face enabled a hefty turnout for its grand opening, so much so that the line to get in stretched down the block. The bouncer, hulking and chromed out to the point of cyberpsychosis being less a question of if and more when, stood perched like a golem outside the club’s doors. There were others, thinner yet bearing similar augmentations who patrolled the line like scouts, picking individuals of particularly unique or eccentric character and fast-tracking them past the line and into the club.
With great power…you know the rest.Severus, realizing that whatever Mogan had planned likely wasn't good news if it had Tharja in genuine shock, holds up a hand
"Boy, perhaps you ought to cease whatever it is you have planned before it's too late," he says.
Maki narrows her eyes.
"What the hell is he doing?"
Nicole looks at Reyna as though she'd just uttered complete and utter gibberish.
"I'm sorry, what? You've got someone who can apparently wipe Grima from existence, and bringing them out wasn't our first move?" she asks. "Y'know what? Don't answer that now, we've got bigger crap to worry about."
She then glances at Samsara and, remembering what she knew about Grima and how he was ultimately defeated, can only show her a resigned look.
"It's... it's been a helluva ride, Sam. I'll make sure Thor and Loki know you went out like a friggin' hero."
Robyn immediately cottons on and nods grimly.
"I wish I could've gotten ta know ya better, lassie, but... fer what it's worth, yer as remarkable as Nicole said ya were," she adds.
With that, the two spring into action. Getting between Samsara and the Hierophant, Robyn attempts to outright deck the latter right in the face while Nicole goes for a mighty kick aimed squarely at her enemy's gut.
PRISON BREAK
Mal feels jubilant pleasure at seeing blood (or what he assumes to be) splattering all over his Mobile Suit. And he has to restrain himself with matters of enjoying the carnage anymore. He's here for a reason, and he doesn't want to lose himself in the fight. Nor does he want his collateral damage to accidentally hurt Ez. So he just quickly analyzes his surroundings, seeing Little Guy and Thorsig...
... Wait, what the fuck was Thorsig doing? He thought he'd be- well nevermind, better be the creepy medicine sellor than the musclebound, alien-hating human. God, he was proud of Ez for getting some loyal friends but he was also a bit wishful she'd find friends who are more compatible with him, personality-wise. Still, they work together well, and Mal sees an occasion to return the favor when a dastardy Quint start firing upon the group, the Zaku quickly boosting itself to leap over Little Guy, landing on the ground hard enough to shake it, stones flying out around the impact point like shrapnel as the ZILM-0 raises its "shielded" shoulder to tank the blast.
Had it been anywhere else, he'd have been badly hurt. Instead, barring a shock reaction from the Energon, he'd "merely" wind up with his shielded shoulder looking positively volcanic due to taking in so much energy. That was more energy than he was expecting, but at the same time, Mal doesn't gawk. He simply has his suit grab its drum machinegun and fire away a full clip worth of ammo, initially firing careful bursts before, should the Quint be stunned, firing at full auto, bullet casing flying out of its drum as the Mobile Suit unload.
He'd stop should the Quint die before the ammo is spent, but revenge and pragmatism encourage him to sink in a few bullets more than necessary.
RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! He yells as he fire. Should his clip be spent, he take the drum off and then turns towards the Quintesson Soldier 2, launching the drum at it like a frisbee before loading in another, reloading with great pleasure as the projectile cut through treetops on its way to its target.
... Thanks for the help. He tells the bloodthirsty madman and the literal dinosaur, knowing only the latter could understand. It'd have been a smarter decision to just avoid the blow entirely. But Mal didn't want Ez to be any further wracked by stress or guilt as she'd get out. He wanted her happy, and she wouldn't be if any of her friends died along the way.
So he'd shield them.
Maul's situation is a tad more complex. He decides to take the beam, putting away his rifle as the Lion Pourpre stands tall, energy washing over it. The coating endures, but only Maul's discipline keeps his suit from being trashed by the Quintesson charging at him, as he angrily unsheath the Darksaber to try to stab through its torso.
Should that succeed, he'd then turn around towards the other Quintesson before trying to rip the other in half by way of swinging his Darksaber upwards, using it as a metal shield while he needed it to.
So far, so good. So that meant very bad things were about to happen.
Meanwhile, Ez... doesn't, can't really blink. So she just briefly does a yelp before she start running off. aw nyo! She's really scared, but she can hear, feel, know there are allies nearby. So she get over her fear, instead looking back at the first Prosecutor chasing her as she goes down the nearest hallway. She looked back, raised her hand. And...
... Failed to call upon The Force, the toddler that she still was lacking the experience and mindset to do so at such a young age. So instead, she did as her father did whenever big bad men came around and ran the hell away.
YOU LOOK STUPID! YOU HAVE YOUR TENTACLES ON THE WRONG PART OF YOUR BODY! she yells along the way.
NYMBULDA RISING
Revan folds her arms and wait, looking up and trying to see if there's any hidden Marasai hidden behind a cloud as the call goes through - wherever Lex is, it's... rather busy, with the sound of partying and jazz playing in the background. He responded quickly though.
I'm at a charity fundraiser. Please tell me you have done something that would warrant my immediate and necessary departure. He says, blunt as ever, his tone making it unclear if he's joking or not.
Baz
Isn't confused or outraged as enormous atrocities close in - she simply start shooting, handing unto Night Weaver for dear life. Until Casper tells her to, she's gonna keep shooting. Because... what else does she gotta do? If there's anything weird that's going to happen, he'll warm her.
She trusted him - in life, and in dilapidated mansions alike, he was her light. And so, when she stopped, it was partly because he stopped to. But also because Maxx's entrance and declaration was that fucking bizarre. The kriff did he say? She mutters, being almost frightened to see Casper, a well-known friend to the bizarre, had no answer himself.
It was an anomaly that could scare Casper, she'd probably be horribly worried if he hadn't just shouted his intent to help them.
I have... no idea what's going on, but I'll assume it's good.

Of the various people and vehicles arriving to the scene, one such arrival was a blacked-out Rayfield Caliburn- coming to a stop some distance from the crowd around this... frankly very obviously satanic-themed club. Eventually, the woman inside
got out of the car, prompting it to spring back into motion in search of a good parking spot.
She eyes the absurdly massive line and sighs, the whirring of servos and the faint hissing of hydraulics audible to anyone who may be close enough to her as she shifts about on her feet, before taking the simplest option and heading to the back of the line. Multi-million-eddie body didn't mean shit when you're constantly focused on not being too noticeable. One says as she drives in with a fucking Caliburn.
...well, she also had an oversized Metel revolver strapped to her hip and what currently looked to be fully robotic arms. Being noticeable is a bit relative when you're packing more chrome than flesh, even if most of it isn't easily visible.
However, the line's long, and people are giving her the odd glance or two- they either saw what she drove in with or are wary of her few visible pieces of chrome- mostly her arms.
...or maybe it's the fact that she's got an explosive round-firing magazine-fed revolver strapped to her hip. Who knows.
aeiou: the secondGrima
Morgan doesn't respond to them. Once the Mark of Naga has faded to resemble nothing more than a barely visible birthmark and the Mark of Grima is glowing hard enough to almost obscure his hand, Morgan gets back up. His eyes are now partly visible underneath the hood, and they look harsh. Intense. The eyes of a killer, just as Grima trained him to be.
Walhart suddenly rushes for Morgan, axe at the ready. This situation implies Morgan betrayed the Neo Shepherds again, and he's not going to give Grima any leeway.
"Stop!" , the Death Knight commands, about to attack Walhart to force him into stopping.
But Morgan beats him to it, using the last use of his Thoron tome to blast Walhart with lightning, a hit with enough power behind it to reduce him back to his card. Einherjar F!Morgan looks suitably terrified as energy starts to seep from Walhart's card.
Morgan now begins to approach the rest of them. While more Risen spawn, Morgan simply holds out his hand. Sensing the dominant Fell Mark, the Risen obey and do not approach or attack the group. An ominous dark aura surrounds Morgan now as he continues to approach. He won't attack them if they don't attack him though.
Tharja is staring intently at him, trying to deduce what's going on. She then glances back at the people fighting the Hierophant and...
"..."
When Morgan's near the group, Tharja suddenly moves to the side wordlessly, and Morgan continues on. If anyone tries to stop Morgan, Tharja will grab them by their sleeve and pull them back. If she's questioned as to what she's doing, she'll glance away from whoever asked her and simply respond with two words.
"Just watch."
Jake is very conflicted on this, hands on the axe handle... but he can't bring himself to attack without giving Morgan a chance. He just really hopes his faith isn't misplaced.

Grima unleashes a blast at Sothis and the Immaculate One, the former defending them both with magic barriers, allowing the Immaculate One to blast Grima back.
But the giant dragon then lunges its head forward and through the smoke of the hit, aiming to literally chomp on Sothis to kill her. She's unprepared for this-
"NO!", the Immaculate One roars as she flies in to intercept the attack, resulting in her getting stuck in Grima's jaws. Sothis gasps in horror, as do Seteth and Flayn, and Grima sadistically grins as he slowly starts to tighten his jaws, drawing blood from the Immaculate One.
"I will NOT allow this!", Sothis screams as she reverts time one last time, freeing the Immaculate One from certain death... but at a cost. Her power has been completely exhausted now, to the point that she starts to fall and has to get caught by Seteth and Flayn.
"Mother!", the Immaculate One says, highly worried for her. Seteth and Flayn look just as worried. Sothis is still conscious, slightly smiling at them. While she had already accepted that they are her family, even if she didn't fully remember yet, it's in this moment that the memories of her feelings towards them return to her as well.
She remembers that they are her offspring, and that she loves them above all else.
A shadow is cast over them as Grima moves over them, chuckling darkly. Their love would be the undoing of an entirely new world.
—
The Hierophant is briefly taken aback, but then continues on. Because as Grima understood it, these people would do anything to stop him, including sacrificing themselves. If they had such power at their disposal, they would have used it already. That's what the dragon concludes.
She jumps over Alear's attack now and slashes the incoming big arrow away with her claw. It seems she's done being their punching bag now that she knows exactly how to win.
Beruka's spike comes in and nearly impales her, though she's more ready this time and moves. Her foot is still impaled, but in a rather grotesque move she still moves, resulting in her foot being ripped off of her body in the process as she frees herself before the goop can attach to the rest of her.
Beruka's surprise swinging double kick from behind still catches her off guard though, knocking her back down to the ground, but she immediately gets back up again.
While the reverting time removes the opportunity for Lucina's Falchion to pin her down, this time Grima still gets knocked down but has a lot more trouble getting back up again fast, letting Beruka pin her down by the neck and allowing for Corrin to smash down at her and use her explosive breath attack. It connects and deals visible damage, but the Hierophant now unleashes a dark magic blast to knock Beruka and Corrin off of her, and letting the explosive impact presumably knock Samsara back a bit. She would not allow Samsara another opportunity. She has to use pretty much all of the power siphoned from Walhart to pull this off though.
As she gets back up, she ends up punched in the face and kicked in the gut right after by Robyn and Nicole, floating back but still keeping her balance. Energy from Grima starts to flow into her to heal some of her wounds... but it noticeably does not regenerate her lost foot.
Anna finally dives in with a spinning Hi Ninja Sword attack, striking the Hierophant once with a critical hit, but her planned combo is ruined when the Hierophant blasts her back with Expiration magic, hitting the dragon's skin hard and rolling back a bit before coming to a stop with a slight groan.
She picks herself back up though, ready to keep going. She doesn't notice Morgan now being close to the group.
But the Hierophant does. It surprises her at first, but then she grins. The boy had visibly chosen her over that wretch Naga.
And as Morgan brings out the altered Grima's Truth, the tome that he used throughout Ashes of Nohr, the tome that only has one use left, the Hierophant moves to action, planning to knock Samsara down, and then Morgan can finish her off with a surprise attack.
Morgan begins to channel the power of his tome, wincing from the burning feeling of touching it. It already responded to his Fell blood before, but now the pain is tenfold. Still, he goes on, dark magic beginning to flow around him. At this point the group may take notice due to the magic shifting the very air around them.
Anna turns to look.
"... Morgan? What are you...?"
The Hierophant grins dementedly as she now tries to slam Samsara down, and Anna's eyes go wide. Is Morgan...
Is he betraying them? Again? After everything?
The glow from his magic illuminates Morgan's focused, intense eyes. It'll be obvious to anyone looking at his face: the blast he's conjuring up is meant to be a killshot and nothing less. And he seems to be looking straight at Samsara.
"NO!", Anna screams as Morgan unleashes his dark magic, Grima's Truth surging forwards. If anyone tries to intervene by physically blocking the attack, they'll be shocked to find that it swerves right around them and keeps going.
This attack is meant for one target and one target only, and Morgan would ensure that it hits its mark.
At this same time, Grima makes a mad dash for the portal. Victory is in sight!

Alear grabs the Hierophant's wrist. The same hand holding Samsara.
She doesn't care what Morgan is doing. She doesn't care about betrayal or deception or any of that.
All she cares about is her enemy.
"If I can't kill you...I will make you kneel."

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."

The Other Place
William is far too caught up in the moment after that epic stab on the Flamelord, which means that on top of getting hit by Sectonia's Final Smash, he's left absolutely bewildered after crashing to a stop, with no idea what just happened besides that it was really trippy and really, really painful.
He doesn't even realize how much pain he's in at first. He tries to get up, but his arms and legs, still fully intact, refuse to obey his mind. His whole demonic body, ravaged by a Galeem-boosted Fatal Bloom, just wants to not move until it stops hurting.
And then the pain catches up to his head. His vision swims. He tries to scream, but can only manage a gurgling groan. It'd be merciful if he lost consciousness, but Weber won't let him completely black out, or his Darkling form might disappear.
Next
Grima
The group holding back the Risen (now including Maki) won't have much trouble destroying them. The issue is with the ever-replenishing numbers.
But they'll need to keep going. If the Risen get past them before Grima falls, the others would get pincered.
Between the Einherjar, Jake, the Death Knight, Maki, Severus and Tharja, they can definitely still keep up it for now. The next bunch is a group of Sages who all launch Bolganone magic at them.
"Pitiful.", Tharja grins. Using Anima magic against Dark magic? What an amateur Grima is to think that will do anything at all.
Reyna goes through those Wyvern Risen as if they're nothing but paper. Together with Nicole's attacks, all of the Wyvern Risen are taken care of fast. The Hierophant herself evades the Insect Glaive and attempts to stop Se'arah in her tracks, but then Alear comes in and deals what seems to be massive damage with her punches-into-Fell Blast attack, almost sending the Hierophant flying.
And unfortunately for the dragon, Dragonskin doesn't prevent stat debuffs, so Fell Spirit's effect goes through.
Before she can even say a goddamn thing, Beruka and F!Morgan blast at her with their respective attacks, forcing her back down and allowing for Samsara to Astra her.
The Hierophant coughs up some blood (right, not an Einherjar), and this now prompts Grima's actual head to move up and turn to look at the group. Or maybe it's a reaction to Corrin literally digging into his skin with her wing-arm. The Hierophant gets smacked back by Corrin, staggering, then quickly channeling a wall of Expiration magic to block the following sword attack.
"When... the hell... did you all get so strong!?" , she snarls. Only to then gasp when a blade suddenly breaks through the magic wall anyway, resulting in the Hierophant getting stabbed by Robyn (as the tackle is no longer necessary but presumably she'd still try to impale her).
The Hierophant collapses, seemingly bleeding out. Anna and Einherjar Nowi stop in their tracks.
"... huh... that was fast."
But Anna still has her sword out. She still looks focused.
"If this was it, Grima wouldn't just be staring at us.", she points out while looking at the dragon's real head looking down at them.
"ANNOYINGLY PERCEPTIVE AS ALWAYS. I UNDERESTIMATED YOUR POWER. BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW STRONG YOU ARE. THANKS TO THE RITUAL I WILL OUTLAST YOU!"
The Hierophant suddenly begins to shake like a body possessed before floating up and getting back on its feet. It's... a little creepy, but given Ashes of Nohr, it's not the creepiest thing most of the people here would have seen before.
The light returns to the Hierophant's eyes, after which she grins.
"You know what you have to do to take me out permanently. The question is, are you willing to do it?" , she grins, implying that whatever the full ritual effects actually are, she really will keep coming back unless they take her out permanently.
Einherjar Nowi immediately launches a blast, but the Hierophant sends Expiration magic right back at her. Due to her lower stats, Nowi is taken out and returns to being a card, and as Anna picks the card up its energy seeps out of it and into Grima, alarming Anna greatly.
"You're STILL stealing their strength!?"
The Hierophant's only response is a deranged snicker. She then flashes gray and launches a critical hit Expiration magic at everyone who's close to her, aiming to deal heavy damage.

"Morgan... what are you planning to do?", Einherjar Aversa asks. Morgan doesn't answer. His eyes look fierce. Naesala chooses to move back a bit, looking wary. Maybe Grima is affecting him? The dragon is clearly stuck in a stalemate with the Neo Shepherds, so he could resort to this to help even the odds more in his favor.
"Aunt Aversa, I'm going up there. If you won't help me I'll just use the warp panel.", Morgan says.
"But what are you going to-"
Morgan holds one of his hands into the other. Aversa starts getting an idea of what's going on, her eyes widening.
"No... I will not allow you to-"
Morgan suddenly attacks her with Thoron to knock her back. She's not killed by this, only dazed, but that's all that Morgan needs... for now she can't get in his way. His expression is an apologetic one. It hurts to have to hurt her. But he can't allow her to stop him.
"Kid, what exactly are you planning?", Naesala warily asks. Morgan narrows his eyes.
"I'm going to put my studies into motion."
"... what does THAT mean!?", Naesala asks, but Morgan shakes his head.
"Do me a favor and give Nia some medicine before you go again.", he says before hopping out of the window, floating down with magic and making his way to the warp panel.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.
