Dawnguard - REGULAR Arena
Beruka isn't shedding blood in this world - but she's shedding plenty of sweat to compensate. And amongst the droplets falling down unto the stone floor are the innards of a nearby mannequin, which she'd disembowled with a brutal swing of her axe. The upwards slice she used would have considerably scarred lesser material - but the Asgardian stonework holds up, with only a sharp sound to indicate that anything has hit the stone.
It's far from the first mannequin to fall to her wrath - if the group look to the right upon entering the main hall, they'll find that Beruka has been decapitating or slicing them open and then leaving them out to "die" all over the place! This can't be healthy - if not for these unfeeling objects, for her, but she doesn't care.
She'd probably look worse than those dummies anyway, if she fought the Ursurper, even in a group. And Beruka refused to merely sic heroes unto him - she wished to be the one to lead the charge or land the final blow. But she knew that she'd be outmatched alone, so she'd operated, for safety's sake (and for training) a tactical retreat to her original home within the Arena, before Nohr.
Kaa was also there, but the young woman was on her own. Though at least, she was safe - Beruka would know if Sukuna were to appear. That snake. He who had sold himself as an ally to them for so long. He who had helped her in that cave, with fighting off those odd stone, ice and metal golems. To think he'd barely avoided being skewered by that mad crow! If she could, Beruka would kick him back into it.
The entire accident had made Beruka revisit her memories, up to Nohr. Which was starting to look pleasant next to the constant hellish reality that was hers to live in now. If only because as bad as Corrin had it under Iago (and she'd never act as if it wasn't awful), he still at least had the faintest of graces in having his soul and body to him.
That particular thought causes Beruka to decapitate the last dummy, her whole body shaking as she takes a large, big breath. ... Welcome. Do not bother me. Please. She says, in hacked sentences, to the group.

The boy hands Deadpool... a bread? Even he is perplexed by this, looking at the bread in his hands.
"... what do I do with this?"
"Use it!"
"... as in eat it?"
"No, Use it!"
Deadpool takes a breath.
"Kid, I know of only one other way to use a bread and that would be highly inappropriate right now."
"... what?", Nick asks, confused. "I dunno how else to explain it. Everyone knows how to 'Use' an item, right?"

Neuff's half surprised to see the blade is... a blade and hasn't gotten a next-gen upgrade over to something better, like a machete or gun. But she figures that it made sense - whoever was running this behind the scenes had a fetish around Quiet stabbing that princess with that blade.
Not sure if they wouldn't be pulling up to a goddamn tank or anything though - Neuff could handle it. But she doubted Quiet's dinky blade could.
And it didn't help he was seeing something only he could see. In any other context, this is coded, polite language for he was flipping the fuck out but Neuff knew there had to be something more. She also knew she wasn't seeing anything - hence, maybe he was going mad... Or was she?
Argh, damn it, that was several time loops too early!
Nope.

He joked to Warrick.
Wrustoiz grumbled a moment, scaling a mountain wasn't exactly a fearless endeavor for the Sith Lord, but he studied the mountain face, committing a path to memory. Getting a running start, Wrustoiz leaped high into the air, grasping a large protrusion on the mountain. Dangling from it, Wrustoiz grunted pulling himself higher on it.
The stone cracked, and Wrustoiz took that cue to catapult higher, settling his fingers into a crack in the mountain. Glancing up at the mountain, his gaze slowly crept to the ground.
"Let's get moving then."
Some Time Later Since I Don't Want To Describe Mountain Scaling For Four Paragraphs
Wrustoiz finally leaped onto the crumbled wreck of the academy's landing pad, clapping his hands together to rid them of the mountain's dust. Wafting away the small cloud that had risen to his face, Wrustoiz's heart sank staring at the entrance to the academy. It was open.
The rubble had been cleared and all that could be seen was a beckoning crack of darkness that reeked of the Dark Side. Sighing, Wrustoiz looked over the mountainside to see how far everyone else was. When everyone else arrived, Wrustoiz would turn back to the ruined academy, gesturing to it with a furrowed brow.

"What incredible heat..."
Konngara struggles to rise, pushing through the mental pains from this biomechanical monstrosity's way of communication.
"What are you? Merely a lost soul? Or is your indiscriminate flame meant to remind me of my own? Wait... that's not right. The head shape, the crest, the body of steel... you are one of the Shadowed One's children! What are you doing here? And what have I gotten myself into by assisting him..?"
With a deep breath, she sharpens her resolve and draws the vajra sword claimed from her Shadow. The Astral Knight turns the Treasure's blade on herself and thrusts. Subconscious self-preservation triggers, and with a flash of yellow eyes and a sound like shattering glass, her Persona appears in the visage of Fudou Myouou.
"Whatever the case, I can't let you stop me. Purification [Exorcism of Unearthly Desires]."
Konngara gets in an iaijutsu stance with her katana, vanishes in a blur of motion, and attacks with a single horizontal slash before reappearing behind the hellish Rahkshi. Fudou Myouou follows up after her with a vertical slash. She may lack the degree of fire control to burn away soul impurities now, but her Persona doubling the hit makes up for that. Besides, the flames she can use probably wouldn't work on this foe.
Comimg War
Aila raises her hammer and attempts to brace against the B2's flying charge. Perhaps a clash would occur, as they both held a stalemate with the B2 gaining an initiative thanks to his jetpack and making the agent get pushed back... But it won't take long before the Arbiter would push back with her own enhanced strength.
However, the hail of laser fire did brought her short and she winced as some struck her body but will hold strong. You don't become a Frontliner by bring a pussy, damn it.
"A gal needs her personal space! Fuck off!" Aila leans back and slams her head in a rather brutal headbutt that can even leave deep dents in armored steel. The headache and the daze will be annoying... but she'll endure it. If she was being called thick-headed, she may as well put it to literal use.
Whether the B2 she hopefully managed to hold down crumbled under her skull or was stunned, Aila would immediately grab the droid and throw it at its airborne sibling. A very predictable attack that might easily be dodged or she might get lucky and it brings down the annoying droid.
That's why she was already loading her sawed-off as soon as she threw the damn thing with dexterous hands born from experience. Missed or not, the 2nd jetpack droid would find two barrels filled with tungsten buckshot and magnum slugs aimed at it.
"Boom." Aila squeezes the trigger.
...
..
.
The droids, while strong, were obviously not built for melee. Their movement and strike was simply... that. A textbook punch meant to down or crush a normal being under its mechanical strength. No thought behind other than a simple movement execution of a robotic being. It didn't help that the poor thing was already missing its arm.
And that Asia was not a normal human.
A simple attack would be met with a simple counter. The Nun would simply slap the incoming fist with her wrist, attempting to deflect the weak blow to the side. She tried not to imagine how disappointed would her CQC trainers be if she lets a a hit this predictable strike her directly...
Catching sight of Valorii managing to down one of the droids, Asia's eyes widened in panic as the other droid as began to directly aim at the Hivemind Agent. Sanctified Field was a potent area healing but if the hail of laser fire even managed to burn her head or heart...!
Droid throwing began once more as Asia grabs onto the damaged droid's carapace, spins once, and threw it at the machine gun droid in an attempt to down it or throw of its aim.
Her throw will be accurate however, it will still be a little too late as the distance still mattered.
Valorii wouldn't be going down that easily, of course. Twisting her lithe body to the side to divert the laser fire to somewhere not critical on her body. She can afford losing some of her organs in the abdomen or even limbs, she trusted Asia to be there for her.
With a manic grin, another deadly exchange of laser fire would occur. Just unfortunate that the droid was alone while Valorii has her dearest friend.
If Asia's throw did manage to make the two droids tumble on the platform floor in a tangle of metal limbs, she would leap with superhuman strength and crush the two droids under her feet.
Sanctified Field would end at that moment if it comes to pass, as the Nun immediately rushes to her, no doubt, heavily-wounded best friend with her Sacred Gear at the ready.
At the very least, Valorii thought, she finaly got her swarm in that stupid tower. It should be rendered useless. No different from a lobotomised being, with the difference that it was hopefully operating normally in the view of others from afar. If their luck holds, the signal shouldn't be that disrupted and any outside force keeping track of the radio towers would think that there was just a minor glitch and ignore. The ruse will come undone if anyone comes close to the tower and realize that something was piloting the lobotomized thing but that's that and this this.
...
..
.
Well, they did it.
Too much close calls and a little disastrous but he was used to it.
There some droids left but they'll be dealt with. Yosef doesn't hesitate to raise the Vulkan MG like a riot shield, letting the bulky and durable quad-barreled machine gun be his cover. It was already spent and he could fix the damn thing once they, very hopefully, get some rest. He'll be stuck in his standard gear temporarily but he has the ammunition anyway to handle bigger things.
He just needed a moment to...
"There." Grappling hook returned, Yosef pops out of his cover and enduring shots that he might gained with his last remaining energy in his Nanosuit. The grappe fires, and would latch onto the still functional Droid, and he tugs. There was no mercy as the Riskrunner would grab the unfortunate machine he would pull with his hook and aims his Deagle directly at its head.
He'll leave the one-liners to Aila. He... didn't do one so far, did he? Damn it.
He fires.

The Coming War
Dewa Faisung chirped quietly to himself at this development, looking back at Gravia and Arzohis before realizing they had gone from four strong to three.
"...Gravia. You know where to shoot... Arzohis, take out The Droid..."
Arzohis nodded and aimed his wrist forward, aligning it with the swiveling head of the Recon Droid. That's when it silently glided forward, a 5 inch long tungsten spike that caved in the chassis of the Droid and only partially came out the other side.
Assuming the turrets hadn't come online, Dewa Faisung would immediately come to the door after both his allies fired at their mark, clucking a little like a quail before peaking his head in for just a moment, pulling it back to tell the others what he'd seen-
AwawaComing War, Foundry (Tunnels)
Gravia quietly floated above the ground, glad that she need not drench her legs in muddy waste.
Timing her shot to line up with Arzohis', Gravia fired her gravity gun - silent, for it used no gunpowder - at the scanner that watched the circle-shaped door. While this specific scanner and this specific door were new to her, she recalled her experience in the facility she was created in and had to escape from. It seemed that, even across worlds, metal doors with security scanners were a common thing.
While the strange fusion of feline and bird named Dewa Faisung scouted ahead, Gravia kept alert, ready to move or fight at a moment's notice. Can't be too careful.
With Carolina, Blast Hornet, Heller, and... whichever companions they happen to have with them all en route to the indicated building, things largely remain quiet as people stay out of their way. Sure, they occasionally get a glance from an armed guard, but everyone around here seems to have adopted a "not my problem means not doing anything" mindset... probably. Which means they have some time to overhear snippets of conversations between other armor-clad folk on the way.
"...back to the western trench once I'm done here. Had to pull away for a while when I heard reports of..."
"...are the leaders? We all know just one of them would have this mess wrapped up in an hour if they just..."
"...way too obvious. The Mandate stamps their signature on every bit of supply they deliver, they clearly want to..."
"...just saying, whatever you think of his methods, he does have a point. Look at what's happened ever since..."
All such discourse and more, but no real time to stop and listen. Once the... Trio? Quadro? More-o? Once the gang get to their destination building, the pair of guards assigned to it (these ones being outright inhumanly large in size) remain dead silent, their attentions only being clear when they turn their heads and presumably stare down at Carolina, Blast Hornet, and Heller. Then they nod and gesture for the gang to continue, moving their bigger-than-entire-people-sized legs aside to clear the way.
In the building proper, it's a fairly quick and direct trip down a concrete-and-steel hallway until they meet someone of actual import. Sort of. The room they end up in seems far bigger than the building they'd entered, and most of the space is dominated by tangled meshes of data storage and barely-organized cables crisscrossing the space, with only a few actual personnel inside to maintain things. Unlike the bulky armors of the folk outside, these people wear uniforms that while still clearly metallic and designed for toughness are at least passable as normal human clothing. A few of the closer ones turn their heads when the group arrive, though remain silent.
<...ALRIGHT, INTERESTING...>
That voice came from all around. A holographic red circle manifests in front of the gathered group, then "loads" by flashing through to white in a clockwise pattern. After a moment, blue energy from elsewhere in the room coalesces together... Forming the shape of a person. A relatively ordinary one, even. A redhead woman standing around 5ft 9 in height, featuring prominently green eyes, and for some weird reason has gray skin... Though to be fair, she's very bloody obviously some sort of artificial intelligence. She observes Carolina, Blast Hornet, and Heller silently for a moment... Then turns and gestures at the nearby personnel with one hand, before turning back to the newcomers.
"Alright, I'm a little busy managing war efforts, but a bit more multitasking is nothing... Alright, you want to speak with Coordinator Tacana, and now you're speaking with her. Alright, what'll the matter be this time - military matters, civilian matters, little bit of both? Alright, don't mind the verbal tic, I don't know why I keep saying that either."
If they have questions or offers of support on their mind, now is probably the time.
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me. TUNNELS (Hollow Rock)
Astral Knight Konngara
Konngara would hurry ahead, following Charlie and the others into this new passage, which seemed slightly less of a hornet's nest than the ones she had been in earlier.
After a little bit, Konngara felt she could put her sword back in its sheath for a moment, and did so.
The yaksha's eyes turned to the windows, seeing the water creatures... then did a double take at the giant leviathan creature that swam up to the window from the other side. She let out something of a gulp... then noticed the creature's interest in Anders. Konngara would remind herself to ask him about that later...
"Oh, that's..." Noticing Luisa's near-collapse at the sight of the leviathan, Konngara's tone changed, and she walked over to her.
"...Luisa?"
The Astral Knight felt... something... briefly tugging at her strings (metaphorical ones, anyway), and she had an odd look on her face for a while.
The feeling would soon evaporate. Whatever it was, Konngara didn't mention or explain it (yet). She (somewhat slowly) extended her hand out to Luisa, offering to help her get back up.
"Listen. You're gonna be fine. If things make a turn for the worse, I'd be holding them off so you humans can get outta here with your heads still attached. You can hold me to that. I'm a yaksha..."
Konngara's voice pauses briefly when she mentioned her kind by name, the yaksha - a semi-divine being, sometimes associated with nature (typically it was the female yakshas, or yaksini, who had this connection). She didn't act like a yaksini all the time, though. With her ties to Fudo Myoo-oo and his desires to burn everything, sometimes she acted more like a demon - a raksasi. Perhaps a few other members of the group could see that during the fight earlier. However, humans long ago had conflated the yaksha and the rakshasa... so the latter had long been grouped with the former.
"...so don't let yourself get down like that! We need you, and we need your... dogs. Or whatever they are. Without you, and them, we'd be worse off."
Konngara's attempt to be a confidence-booster finished. The wispy tails of red and black that served as Konngara's lower body got fuzzy, zig-zagging from the bottom of her dress to the floor.

DENJI AND NYMBULDA
Command grabs sucks. Denji isn't familiar with those kind of fighting games but he instantly get the sinking horror and despair that plague players old and new to the genre when their character get struck. And as his pixelated Dick Thunderquake character gets reeled in and then punched in the face, Chainsaw Man finally understand the true weight of despair.
dammit...
He turns to Nymbulda, looking annoyed but also like he doesn't want to show it. Just you wait! I'll use my own special move! He says, getting a bit competitive without being rude. Which would make sense. Denji was a teenager exposed to ridiculously violent and strangely arousing scenarios all day - not being good at handling rage in video games is something grown adults can't do, let alone a teenager of his profile.
And yet there's something extra to this particular debacle. Something that causes his character to start lashing out at the air again as he try inputting complex pro moves - ignoring that half of these don't work by button-mashing. Nymbulda's character has nothing to fair - aside from Denji's characters sometimes jumping over hers for an epic kick that miss her zip code.
c'mon...
On his neck, visible to Nymbulda, is a particularly large red vein. One with black spots on it. If she takes a closer look, Denji's expression and voice grows slightly more agitated the more the vein worm its way in, with slight cracks on his skin around where the tip of the snake's head is at. And as he carelessly try scratching that spot, the red vein abruptly disappear into his skin.
Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterThe Arcade
Nymbulda at first feels terrible, rubbing the back of her head as she sees him trying to get back at her. Back and forth she saw him jump over her avatar again and again, raising an eye at this mild case of angry over performance.
"I say your character has quite the leap-"
A worm. If Denji could see it he could observe how her eyes went from something typical of a humans to something straight up alien as her pupils became a cross shape. She stopped playing with the controller and immediately grabbed at his hand gently.
"Hold still... don't move..."
Her tone was immediately yelling that something was off. She felt her thumb along his neck, narrowing her eues as she seemed to look for a entry point on the throat.
Nothing. He could hear a faint growl from her chest, a rolling sound that she couldn't help. She took one of his hands into her own, the more scaled mitt holding his tightly.
"That scratching... where is it now?"
AwawaRemains of Blazing Hell
William is still down and in pain until the Rahkshi stops 'talking'. He's glad it doesn't capitalize on their immobility to land a cheap shot, at least.
"... I think I've seen something like that before. ... at least it reminds me of that one creepy guy in Pseudo's lab..."
He narrows his eyes.
"Well, heck it, I don't care. I'm gonna wreck that thing!"
This is a real fight, which means it's time to bust out weapons: the Draco Sword and Demon Shield. As soon as he can stand again, he rushes at the Rahkshi for his own flyby slash, following up on Konngara and her Persona.

Cue Nick suddenly appearing and startling Deadpool again.
"You forgot your gun, mister.", he says while handing it back to him.
"... thanks.", Deadpool says, clearly a little annoyed at how many times he's been startled, but he can't get angry over that now given that the kid went through the effort of giving one of his 50 Cal Gold Plated Desert Eagle guns back.
Nick's body language is subtle, but Wolverine may just get the vibe that he jumpscared Deadpool on purpose, because he seems amused.
"I'm going back home now. If you ever come back, know I can't hear you from everywhere. But I'll always hear you from down under the code. Bye!"
He vanishes in a burst of glitchy pixels.
"... well that was sure something. Wanna get drunk at a bar?", Deadpool asks. "I'm gonna have to drink myself under the table and black-out forget that premonition so that it's not going through my head all the time."

fuck!

NOOOOO THATS BULLSHIT HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER DO THAT?!
the character doESNT DO IT I DO YOU STUPID BITCH!!! Gamer Rage all over the place - to a level that's concerning even by the standards of an arcade. And all of them have a red snake of variying size on their person. Some of them don't even have it on them so much as they're on the snake, which has sprouted out of them to reveal an hideous head.
The "snake" has a tiny, hideous, constipated withered baby-like face at the tip of its slim body. And it appears to be in the midst of engulfing the head of its "wielders" with its circular mouth, lowering itself the further agitated its hosts get. Some of them are entirely consumed - and they skip the dialogue to start throwing punches, their face initially blank, then quickly pulled apart into a fearsome frown from a third party's view.
From her view though, the snake just "stand" upright on the person's head, engulfing it from view and, for now, becoming a giant deranged organic helmet.
Denji himself still has a tiny snake (... on his neck) but he reacts angrily to Nymbulda touching him.
N-no! Don't distract me! He yells, with the snake gaining in size by the second.

F!Shez gets hit and effing dies, getting sent back to a respawn house. Point to Goemon!
M!Shez's aura flares up.
" Maybe focusing everything in one's gonna be a more effective strategy.", he says as he turns around and immediately tries to perform a spinning sword sweep, aiming to hit Dante-W and Goemon, aiming to take them both out with even further increased power.
F!Shez, meanwhile, is only half-conscious in the respawn house. Whatever happened seems to have worn off, and it has quite the effect on her.
