Loki and Loaded
It's not like you've really made any friends in the Godworld, am I right? It's me or the other guy, Loki says. You have no real guarantee that I won't betray you. But if you don't trust the other guy, you'll be left out! Quite the conundrum, heh? He smirks, putting his hand on his chest. You don't trust your first source. You don't trust me. But if you edge towards your own path, you might not make it there anyway.
You have to make a choice between me and the other guy. Who are you going to trust more?
When Loki bring up theories, he replies with a raised eyebrow, but is careful to shift his expression for each name, meaning no great meaning can be extracted from him.
Darkseid, Mara and Gor are little deities. They know to stick to their lanes in matters that involve other gods, Loki retorts. A small fish in a pond knows better than to swim in the ocean. Uninvited guests get thrown out. And most of them don't get to make a single step. Their arrival is predicted well in advance, well before their birth. We both know the little ways to avoid this, but you don't. And you never will.
He eyes Sylvie amusedly, giving her a growing smile. Yes. He replies, very bluntly, cutting through her speech halfway through. I've seen mortals, god slayers, gods, devils, abominations... Eons of warriors have tried to kill Odin. Some for perceived slight, some for conquest, some for glory. Numerous motives for a contrastingly singular fate: defeat. They, too, had allies. And they, too, proceeded cautiously. Most of them are whispers now, and Odin stay on his throne. Loki look up, looking almost pensive.
There's a level of dedication you need to achieve if you want to slay a god. It's a fact of life. You need to shove everything aside until the right moment. If the other guy had achieved the means to take down Odin while that business with GEM was going on, he would not have put his story on pause while you waited to conclude it, wouldn't he? When life gets you going, it doesn't let up. You can disagree as much as you want but it's how it goes.
Really, if you want to do things according to his plan, you won't be needing allies. You'll just need to watch the Norns handle this. Or do you plan on punching him in the mouth with your allies? I thought Thanos would have taught you better than this.

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterThat's... huh. Emma has the card that Jack thought he had. The revelation throws him for a mental loop, his gaze drifting downward in contemplation while he rests his chin on one hand.
"...How could this..."
His mind runs through possibilities, eyes glancing upwards while envisioning the options, slightly to the right at first as he goes through them...
The first guess is that she stole it while he wasn't there, but that one's very flimsy both since neither of them genuinely recognize each other (at least it seems that way), plus it'd be a very bizarre thing to take from his inventory instead of, say, part of the vast collection of weapons and armor he has in storage. Technically it's possible that Emma would feign ignorance, but from what he's seen of her so far, it seems unlikely. Shelve that thought for later if he doesn't come up with something more plausible.
Second guess, he contemplates while his eyes drift directly upwards, is that maybe someone else is playing a prank. Not impossible, and he knows a few people who would. But as far as pranks go, this is a fucking weird one, involves an outsider who evidently hadn't been informed, would take far too much setup and could miss catastrophically if he wasn't coincidentally close enough to meet Emma... Too many things that don't add up, this can't be it.
Third guess... His eyes glance slightly to his left, then straight down again. He has a theory that might make sense. It'd also explain some memory gaps and why Emma feels familiar to him... He can't help but muse out loud now.
"...May be a stretch, I think we've met before but had our memory of that meeting... tampered with or removed, somehow. Could've forgotten the normal way, but I'm like 99% sure I'd remember someone so..." He pauses to look Emma up and down briefly, but also to ponder how to best phrase things without being weird or accidentally offensive. "...distinctive?"
Jack shrugs. He's not really sure what he should've said there, or what Emma will make of that theory. "Eh, not like it's worth worrying about. I think." Someone should probably tell him that "may have been mentally fucked with for unknown reasons" is in fact very worth worrying about.
Either way, he shoots a glance over at Gensui next, giving her a rather flat look at the brain damage implication, but being more amenable to talking about the similarities of their backstories. "How's the breakdown on the time you've spent in that cataclysm, then?" he starts. "Over in my world I spent two decades in a country people keep not putting on maps, then one in Fairview helping what was left of the United States push their reclamation front (shit's so stressful it bleached my fucking hair), then..."
A pause to remember the timeline. "...I think it's been about three decades since I somehow got dumped in the not-a-shithole world. Means it's a lot harder to get ammo, not like 14mm rifle bullets just pop out of garbage bins, but it's worth it to be able to buy burgers like a normal person again."
...
He's a bit hungry. He glances at Emma, then at Gensui, then makes a gesture that's kind of like a shrug but with his entire arms.
"Speaking of which where the fuck can we go for lunch?"

The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.Vs Mugen Zero
Trio can't hear Sage's advice but he probably wouldn't care or listen to it anyway. Conveniently though he does do something that might help with that plan though. He activates Time Slow and closes in on Zero before enveloping himself in Evil Energy. He then launches himself at the Reploid, spinning like a corkscrew and hitting him fists first to launch him in the direction of Iris.
He did this simply out of spite because he saw her backing off.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Thor just looks more exasperated than anything else.
"So, are we finished here, then?" he asks bluntly.
"Oh, I would hardly call any of them 'little.' Have you ever met Gor? They can freeze reality itself and whisk whoever they're conversing with away to another plane of existence entirely, then send them back and unpause time as if nothing had happened," Loki replies. "I don't know about you, but I wouldn't exactly consider someone like them minor."
Sylvie rolls her eyes.
"And I'm sure you just have an amazing track record when it comes to slaying gods," she says, her voice positively dripping with sarcasm.
Game
Charlie and Emma both run on by themselves without a word, looking down at the world of the game as it falls apart beneath them.
Delilah gasps and looks up as Shinato arrives. Bedman? autonomously scoops her up and jumps onto the outstretched hand.
"Whoa!"
And it's a good thing it did, because Evan touching her would've crushed him into nothing in the state she was in. Her powers weren't simply 'opening portals' to the Backyard — the game world was starting to be assimilated into the Backyard, one line of code at a time.
The rescue thankfully calms her down enough that that stops happening, but it means Shinato can't really hijack the rifts to escape. That is, until Delilah, guided by Bedman?'s hand and the U-Virus subtly influencing her mind, focuses her powers enough to make an actual escape portal.
And with that, they make it to freedom.
—
Fallen Sunny leans forward specifically to avoid Monty grabbing him, even though it was for his safety. This gets him bulldozed by Bedman?, not that he cares.
Cassie tries to give Gregory a hug.
Emma faints from exhaustion.
Charlie is still up and at it, and she sees Sam leaving. She hasn't heard his name and can't see his face, but something stirs in her nonetheless.
"WAIT!" she shouts, running to stop him, only to stumble and fall.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Loki
Ohh, you're so in for a treat when you'll get to Odin! Loki laughs. True deities, their power unneutered by this world, are far above any thugs you've managed to dispatch. I'd know, since I spent eons watching him. Loki gives one last shrug. I've slain gods in those eons, yes. Gods that would make you gawk at the mere idea of earning their gaze. And across this, across all my adventures, I was only crawling around the immense corpse of Odin's first and mightiest victim - Ymir.
This won't be your first time getting outwitted by a Godworlder. It might be your last. Loki waves his hand, and the ground at the feet of the three Asgardians harmlessly explode, attempting to send them sailing back to GEM's rooftop.
There, as soon as they're gone, Loki's grin deflates into a worried expression. And he hurriedly departs, his glyph vanishing as he goes.

Giratina gets blindsided by Pyro's surprise Dragon Claw attack, knocking it to the side and allowing for Mew to take and eat Kushio's berry. It makes a grateful little 'mew' noise before it starts floating again.
Giratina then proceeds to get slashed by some kind of shadow wolf creature, spawned by Megumi. Snarling, Giratina now begins to fly.
Upon which it gets slammed into by an Aerodactyl with an illegal move (it must have trained with Lance at some point).
It lands back on the ground, narrowing its eyes and unleashing a massive burst of anti-matter energy around it coupled with a draconic roar. This energy isn't lethal or anything, but still highly dangerous, and it's technically not even a real attack. It's aimed at all enemies on the field, save for Kushio and Megumi.
The message is clear: Giratina is not gonna abide by any battle rules. It came here for a purpose and it won't let anyone get in its way.
-
Mew looks around as more people start appearing. Its future sight hadn't been wrong, thankfully. It had made sure to lure Giratina somewhere where people would notice it and fight it to calm it down-
Wait did one of them say destroy?
Wait, what even is that one? Mew is completely unfamiliar with Iron Valiant. But it looks like a Pokemon, so it should be one, right?
It has no time to ponder over this, as it gets struck by Giratina's anti-matter energy assault and send flying further away.
-
Not too far away from what is now a battlefield, Umezou
◊ and Cara
◊ are walking, as this is happening after the tournament concludes. The former looks a little lost and uncertain while the latter looks concerned for him.
"... are you still thinking about what happened at the tournament?", she asks. He nods.
"Is it strange that I'm starting to feel a little guilty?"
Cara smiles a little.
"If it is, I'm more strange than you. I've felt guilty about this whole thing from the start."
Umezou glances at her. Cara sighs.
"But you're still planning on seeing it through.", she guesses.
"I gotta. It's the only way to find Yujirou."
Cue a distant explosion getting both their attentions. Giratina's roar permeates throughout the area.
"... oh no."
Game
While confused by Grape's reaction, Glamrock Freddy puts him down again, then approaches as Gregory gets back on his feet and gets hugged by Cassie, momentarily startling him as if he's not used to hugs. But he smiles and hugs her back right after.
"You saved me! Thanks!", he happily says.
Freddy was gonna give him a hug too, but he waits, not wanting to butt in on this happy moment.
Glamrock Chica and Glamrock Bonnie try to tend to Emma while a still somewhat confused Monty tries to pry Fallen Sunny out from under Bedman?. Since Cassie's busy hugging Gregory, Roxy instead helps Noah get out from under Bedman? too.
"Evan!", Mike yells, immediately picking him up and giving him a hug as well, briefly startling the kid too (as well as beating a now salty-looking Cassidy to the punch). Unlike Gregory, he doesn't really return it... but he doesn't try to make Mike stop it either. He does seem very briefly worried when Mike flinches a few times, and it dawns on Evan that the springlocks are moving a bit because of the hugging. So it has to hurt Mike to hug him, yet he's still doing it.
Gregory and Evan, both still mid-hug, look back at Jax as he talks to them.
"I'm... strong? You really think so? But so many of my attacks hurt you guys.", Evan says.
"But they still ended up helping in the end, right?", Mike points out, which gets Evan to visibly ponder. But he does seem to like the idea, judging by him beginning to smile a little.
As for Jax's belongings, he now has the Salmon from inside the game. Apparently it survived the transition and became a real fish. In fact... the endoskeleton upgrade is still there too. Not physically, but it seems Jax's defenses have permanently been buffed, and likely, the kids' have been buffed as well.
There's no sign of the data chips though. They probably didn't make it through.
That leaves Charlie and Sam, the latter of which being at the door just when he hears Charlie calling out to him. He doesn't plan on waiting and turning around, but halts when he hears Charlie smack onto the floor, turning around instinctively.
It also gets the attention of the others, and Cassidy immediately floats over to Charlie to help her back up.
"Are you okay?", she asks, and regardless of what Charlie answers, once the latter looks at Sam, she'll probably realize exactly why something stirred.
Mike, who has turned to look too, tilts his head a little and narrows his eyes, as if he's beginning to realize something too.
"... wait...", he mutters, to Evan's confusion.
And it'd make sense that he too is beginning to realize what's going on here. Because his father, William Afton, and Charlie's father, Henry Emily, had been business partners and friends before everything went to hell. And so their families regularly saw each other. Evan was too young to really remember everything and Elizabeth wasn't even born yet, but Michael was old enough to still have some vague memories from back then. He knows Henry Emily's family well enough given how many times his and Charlie's dads met.
And as such he knows that Henry Emily had two children.
Charlotte Emily and Sammy Emily.
"... Charlie...", Sammy says, looking nervous for some strange reason. Cassidy hadn't noticed due to the situation they were all in, but he even sounds almost identical to Charlie, just a little rougher.
"You're alright now, so... I gotta go!"
Sammy sprints out of the room without waiting for a response. And if Charlie tries to give chase into the lobby, she'll find that he's already gone, despite the fact that he didn't have nearly enough time to reach any other doors.

that's not remotely how antimatter works
The Iron Valiant deploys its blades, combining them into a polearm and spinning it to blow Giratina's energy attack away from itself. Then it rushes in, does a spin and takes a whirling slash at Giratina.
"Die, enemy of my ancestors!"
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."While the Asgardians are indeed launched away, Thor manages to catch Loki and Sylvie before flying them down to the base's entrance.
"Well, that went... about as smoothly as any conversation with that troll could probably go."
"We'll just have to ensure that he stays defeated when it inevitably comes time to face him again. Thor, how are you feeling?"
"Like I wish I'd never learned about Odin's deception. I'm not happy about any of this. I think I'm going to train just to break some of the tension."
With that, the trio head back into G.E.M.'s headquarters.

Tenshi has Aerodactyl fly low, figuring outrunning that aoe attack won't work and so she uses her powers to raise a wall of earth in front of her Pokemon to tank the attack for them. She then hops off as Aerodactyl takes off again.
"Use Head Smash this time!" she says, Aerodactyl flying up before diving at Giratina head-first because again I make the rules of my OC-verse uwu.
Also he has Rock Head so no recoil damage.

It's a risky bet to use it against a creature of seeming shadows, but the Divine Dog escape by leaping into the nearest batch of shadows. No other Shikigami could have escaped the move. And as the attack's awesome might descend upon the battlefield, Megumi covers his face using his arms, shielding it from dust and debris alike. I knew what I was walking into but... He says, somewhat obviously. ... I'm amazed at how strong that thing is.
Getting close could be dangerous, but Megumi couldn't let his shikigami handle it on its own. Watching over the creature, Megumi crouch to put an hand inside his own shadow, and when he get up, he's left holding a large glaive with a white blade and a ring at the hand of its wrapped handle. ... It has power akin to Cursed Energy, but different. Even nastier. He thinks to himself.
It could give me an advantage but I'll need to be sure. I can't afford to be experimental. Not now. Megumi sees Mew get struck and move to try to grab it out of the air, moving Totality in front of him so that it might defend him. Got you! He brace himself to try to catch it without being flung off his feet himself.

"…Huh." Liam lowered his staff after sending the Sylvan flying back. "That was…concerningly easy. Surely he didn’t expect that to be enough, right?" The student looked back at Ethan, just in time for him to create their platform.
"Doesn’t matter," Urged Libby, "They’re here now!" An arrow whizzed past her face as she climbed onto the upraised street, impaling itself against a crocodile pelt at the butcher’s stand. Her head followed it, and then whipped in the direction it had come: the same set of buildings that the Sylvan constructs had come from. A row of seven archers stood upon the edge of the roofs, covered by the blinding sunlight and making it exceedingly difficult for Libby to take aim at them. They unleashed a hail of arrows at all those below, while from the windows of the building’s face leapt another threat: five undead, each of them exceptionally skinny and covered nearly head-to-toe in stained cloth wrappings. Those parts that weren’t covered in that cloth were gray and rotted, more bone than flesh or skin. Oddly, running through their bodies as well as each and every undead they’d encounter during this saga was a thin green twine, emanating a verdant light. It ran just under their skin but over the bone, knotted at the joints. Each one had a "core," where the wire was wrapped in a thick mass. Their cores were constantly spinning and unraveling as the undead performed their actions, holding their dead bones together while acting as a puppetmaster and enabling movement.
These five mummies burst from the wooden window panes and into the air, some even performing somersaults and acrobatics as they descended upon their living targets immediately following the rain of arrows.
Undead 1 bore throwing knives, which it also wielded as twin daggers in close range. This one’s “core” was at the nape of its neck. It chucked a few blades at Ta.
Undead 2 held a khopesh, and its core was in its hollowed-out gut, dangling where its intestines would’ve been in life. This one fell upon Ti, aiming to cut into her shoulder.
Undead 3 had a sword and a bronze buckler, and this one’s core was inside its mouth, partially obscured by its jaw. It stared at Ethan with burning eyes as it attempted to impale him during the descent.
Undead 4 carried a lance in its left hand and a hefty shield in its right, covered in strips of papyrus bearing hieroglyphics. Unfortunately, this was also the side its core was on, just below the armpit. It meant to smash the shield onto Yuki’s head and splatter her across the platform.
Undead 5 held two khopeshes, and this one fell near Liam. He just barely managed to leap out of the way, the mummy’s blades whistling mere inches from his face. It hit the ground rolling and popped up, attempting to slash his throat open. This one’s core was nowhere to be seen.
…
"I’m not about to write “hallucination” off," Joseph murmured, "though I bet that’d mean you’re not real either. Wouldn’t be surprised if I’m finally startin’ to lose it."
Denji’s explanation was…equally confounding as anything else he’d said. Joseph was certain there was more to it, but in defense of the knucklehead, now was far from the best time to discuss eachother’s motivations and goals over a nice, cold cup of nuka cola. For now, he followed Chainsaw Man down the stairs and out onto the streets of Khemri, stripped bare of any life. But they hadn’t gotten far before there was a whistling in the air, a great impact, and then the crumbling of manmade artifice. Joseph skidded to a halt and wheeled around to see the adobe stairwell crumbling in a cloud of dust, within which appeared a wavering phantom. The darkened silhouette took form as it emerged from the dust, a woman
clad in wrappings of cloth and opulent armor. She wore a golden mask, so obviously her lips did not move as she spoke: "Close." Her voice was strained, barely audible. "So. Very. Close. I’ll not miss again." She ran a bandaged hand along her glaive’s edge before swinging it through the air, holding it to her side. Her voice grew stronger the more she spoke. "You’ll not take another step in my father’s city."
Joseph groaned and lifted his gun, as the extra arm reached for the blade on his back. It had only just been unsheathed when he squeezed the trigger, the undead woman directly in his sights. His bullets tore through empty air and disappeared into the dust cloud. She’s already—! Lhamura was already in front of him, and the world slowed to a crawl for Joseph as her fist sank into his gut. He felt each individual knuckle bury itself in his skin, felt the warm blood crawling up his throat and squeeze past his lips.
Then, like the bullets he’d just fired off, Joseph shot away. He smashed through a building off to the left, gone for the time being. Lhamura shook the blood off her fist and shifted her attention to Denji.

Spider-Man watched as Homelander wantonly blasted a newcomer for no apparent reason and shook his head. "Geez, what’s your problem with people with blue hair?" He called out, recalling how he’d given Emma a very similar treatment earlier. "Well anyways, I’m sorry but I can’t let you just attack random ladies! You gotta calm down, or I’ll calm you down!" He slung a web at him, but it wasn’t directly an attack (though it certainly could’ve been misconstrued as such) so much as it was using him to swing towards Lobo, the masked menace attempting to plant both feet squarely in the man’s chest. "And you gotta back off, bro!"

She’s (they’re?) clearly still a bit dazed from both the trip and accidentally scaring the Rollers, so she needs time to recover instead of finding it herself.

Eve is cautious, but while that was due to Emma, she had an itch that Homelander's attacks could accidentally reach him. And as two green lines pierce through her chest harmlessly, warming her of the two red lines about to follow, Eve is quick to dodge to the side, even if her left arm is singed, tearing her sleeve apart and marking a large black mark on her arm.

What are you doing?! Eve asks, raising her hands in alarm. They are now glowing red, as if hinting she's about to try an attack of her own.

Pyro gets hit by the antimatter burst, and while it is knocked back, it remains flying. On the ground, Kushoi's eyes narrow.
"Not playing by any rules, huh..? Alright then. Neither will I."
He raises his arms to the sky, and then pulls them back as if slamming something onto his chest. Darkness envelops him for a moment...
...before it clears, revealing him in his armor once more.
He nods up at his Charizard, and it takes off, using Dragon Rush and aiming to slam into Giratina.
Kushoi raises one of his hands, a ball of shadows appearing within it. With a grunt of effort, he hurls it towards Giratina.
"Your story will end here. I promise you that."
In his Interceptor Armor, Kushoi can use moves like his Pokemon would. However, this also means he's going to be drawing attention...
aeiou: the second"Damn!" Soul’s hands flew into a block iver his face as Yellow Temperance burst from under his skin and spread before him in a wall to block the wave of anti-matter from both he and Horus. It slung back to his body knce the attack was cleared, and while Horus flew elsewhere, Soul pointed at Giratina, face red with rage. "Stupid fucking lizard! I’ll kick your ass for that!" Giratina stomps the ground to kick up debris, blocking Iron Valiant's attack with them.
Aerodactyl will be able to charge through the debris, at least until that debris starts flying around Giratina, using it as Ancientpower to protect itself from the impact. Now how does Ancientpower have the strength to stop a Head Smash Aerodactyl? Well, it's super-effective (it would hit Aerodactyl since it flew straight into it), and Giratina is a Legendary Pokemon with a far higher level of power, especially in the defensive department given the form it's currently in.
It blocks Pyro's Dragon Rush in a similar fashion, thus threatening to hit Pyro with super-effective damage too (unless it's a different type of Charizard). However, between those two attacks, the Ancientpower rocks are completely obliterated, allowing for Kushio's Shadow Ball to hit it. It's somewhat hurt thanks to it being super-effective damage, but it doesn't even seem to be stunned... which is a bad sign.
As for Soul charging at it with the intent to swing, it... just takes flight again to avoid the attack. Depending on how fast Soul was going, he may end up stumbling because of it.
Mew gets caught by Megumi before it can be flung too far. It lets out a grateful little noise.
However, Giratina lets out another roar before landing a bit further, after which it retreats into some kind of shadowy dimensional portal that vanishes...
Before suddenly bursting back into this dimension from the other side and attempting to literally ram into Soul, Pyro, Aerodactyl and Iron Valiant in a fly-by attack.
Regardless of success, it will then, immediately after the attempted attack, slam the ground with its six legs. A strange, dark aura surrounds the battlefield.
Gravity is lessened for the following turn. Everyone can jump and fly higher but run slower. Those who aren't heavy enough will start to float in place.
A very bad situation to be in. Anyone who's stuck floating in place will be an easy target next turn.
Mew creates a psychic bubble around itself and Megumi, which will keep gravity normal for the both of them. However, it lacks the power to expand it further due to Giratina's powers being superior in this regard, and as such everyone else has to deal with it themselves.
Some distance away, Umezou and Cara are fast approaching. But once they enter the affected area, both of them start to float and can't move any more.

Sup, nerd.
If Niko look up, he'll see (and likely will recognize ahead of time) Sandra, his sister, descending down from the sky using her flight. She waves down, somewhat sarcastically. A slight "hum" emanates from her due to her particular form of flight, basically surfing along on magnetic current. She's kinda banking on Niko having heard it in advance with his hearing, since she'd kinda hate to startle him.
And also, she's worried about him possibly being too distracted to notice anything that could attack him.
If ya want to brood, why not do it in your room?
Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterHe looks up at Sandra and looks comically unamused for a moment at being called a nerd. His lack of a surprised reaction shows that he indeed sensed her approaching his location already.
"I'm not brooding, I'm thinking.", he says as he gets up and puts his hands in his pockets.
"I'm still on my search for information on 0.02, but I've hit a dead end, and I can't find the past versions of Dad and Uncle Argo, or grandpa Tobajas.", he says. "And I definitely don't wanna go near that one creepy version of Dad who tried to fight you. So there's only one other person I can think of, but..."
He sighs.
"That other version of Uncle argo made it pretty clear last time that he doesn't like me, so now I'm thinking on what to do."

Or maybe she was cynical - perks of having mostly met really sad versions of her dad and uncle.
He's the guy from the... erm... bad bad timeline, right? She didn't want to precisely name it. ... He did say he didn't want to see you, I could try. She says, half-mumbling the joke due to apparently not being in the mood for said joke. ... I think if we ask around people in the city to serve as backup, we could be in it for a while. Or Mom would notice. Or we'd get some creepo pretending to be good or whatever.
What if we both go asking for answers? He won't be feisty with me around and, if he tell us the stuff you're looking for, we'll never need to see him again anyway, right?

"That kinda sounds like we're trying to intimidate him by both being there.", Niko says. "... but I can't really think of a better plan right now. I've been mulling this over for half an hour at this point. And yeah, telling him we'll leave him alone forever if he helps us out could work."
Niko nods. He figures it's worth a shot.
"I guess you should go in first then. If he sees me first he may get more angry."

Sandra winces a bit when he describes it. I don't wanna hurt that guy. He's suffered enough. But sometimes, you have folks whom you can't get on good word or promises without showing a bit of muscle. Sandra says. ... Or I think so? I'm not really a weary traveler yet, but I think this world kind of roll like that.
She puts her hands on her pockets and give Niko a teasing smile. I'm used to going first on those things. She says, agreeing. Look, even if it goes bad, we managed to kick around THOR's kids and then eventually beat the guy himself. I think there's a lot of folks we could do decent against, especially together.
I don't wanna psych you up for a fight, she adds. It's gonna be creepy, interacting with Uncle Argo but not Uncle Argo. But we'll need to put up a strong front. or he'll just tell us to go fuck ourselves. She glances up, as if thinking a bolt of retribution will fall from the skies as a retaliation against the mean word, but then smirk and look down, preparing to walk in first.

The door to the cabin isn't locked, so Sandra'll be able to open it and walk right in. Though if she does, she won't find anyone in the kitchen (which is the first room of the cabin).

Thor narrows his eyes.
"If only that knowledge didn't lie with a treacherous little weasel who would manipulate and stab someone in the back for no reason other than his own amusement," he retorts. "What guarantee besides your hatred for Odin do we have that what you're proposing isn't meant to lure us into a trap, or that you won't attempt to dispose of us once he's been dealt with?"
Loki raises a hand to his chin.
"Come to think of it, assuming you didn't have a contingency in place prior to your downfall, whoever or whatever brought you back must have been quite powerful. Could Mara have wanted an ally whose penchant for sadism and wickedness matched her own? Did Steppenwolf's master - Darkseid, was it? - need a new general for an unexpected second attempt on this realm? Perhaps even Gor might've saved your hide for reasons that only make sense to them," he muses, planning to gauge Myth!Loki's reaction to each of those names.
"In case your head's been too far up your own arse to notice, we've already gathered plenty of allies and have been going about this cautiously. It wasn't our fault something else came up that we couldn't afford to ignore. But let me guess, we're blithering dolts for not completely ignoring our friends and just focusing on Odin," Sylvie replies, her even tone belying the fact that she was resisting the urge to see if she could dump the condescending bastard through a Timedoor leading to, say, Alioth's waiting maw. "Well, not everyone is lucky enough to be as dead inside as you. Now, out with it. 'Oh, you morons actually care about people? Wow, you're so much dumber than I thought. Why can't you just be narcissistic pricks who only see everyone else as tools or toys like me?' Come on, get it all out of your system like I know you're just itching to."
