Not bothering to answer Iris, Thor readies his legendary hammer and walks past her as he stomps towards Myth!Thor, barely resisting the urge to chop the latter's stuck-out tongue off with Stormbringer. Truth be told, he had long been hoping for a chance to finally put this egomaniacal, petulant, warmongering spoiled brat of a god in his place. And if Myth!Thor wanted to continue underestimating him, well, that would only make humbling him even more satisfying.

"Do not play innocent with me, Odin's lapdog. I know exactly what you and your corrupt fraud of a father have done, and I am through listening to some arrogant god who thinks himself infallible and above consequences once again refuse to take responsibility for anything he does," he retorts, practically spitting the word "god" as if it tasted like bile in his mouth.

"You could have broken your spiteful little troll of a Loki in half whenever you wanted, but only waited until Odin was ready to cut his strings to do anything about him. You wanted to fight someone as powerful as Set for fun, regardless of the devastation he and his minions might cause before Odin saw no further use for him. But you don't care one damn bit about the collateral damage left in the wake of Odin's machinations or everyone who was caught in the crossfire of Set's rampage, do you?" he continues, barking out a mirthless chuckle and gripping Mjolnir's handle tightly enough to make his knuckles go white. "What am I saying? Of course you don't. You've never cared about mortals or anything beyond yourself or your next pointless battle. Beyond the savage brute who revels in killing for petty causes."

Hub Centralis, Iwatodai dorm. Dark Hour (Solopost)

The Dark Hour. A hidden hour between days, where most people are turned into coffins, where water looks like blood, and the moon glows with a sickly green Hue.

Most people would usually be quite startled if they suddenly experienced being awake during this phenomenon for the first time, or at least somewhat concerned.

But oddly, this is not the case for the teenager who Just entered the building, Carrying a duffelbag of his personal belongings and school supplies. He's too tired to really give a shit about what's happening.

A strange child stands behind the front desk of the dorm.    "Welcome."

The child snaps his fingers as the Teenager turns around to look at where the child once was, only to not see anyone there. The child's voice rings out from behind the Teenager. [[evil:"You're late. I've been waiting a long time." The teenager turns to look at the child once more, and catches a glimpse of the child vanishing in a puff of smoke.

The Boy appears again, next to the front of the front desk, his hand beside a folder on the desk.

"If you wish to proceed, sign your name here. It's a contract. There's no need to be scared. All it says is that you accept full responsibility for your actions."

The teenager, not questioning any of this, walks up to the contract on the desk, and, grabbing an ink quill from the inkwell beside the folder, signs his name.

Vandalon

"Yeah... I've heard stories, but Phillip's actually been there... apparently."

"Been there, single-handedly got into an old military base- it had microwave emitter fields around the perimeter and on some drones, mind -and crammed myself into a pod."

When they come to the town, Lute stops to look for a moment.

"Rounded buildings to keep snow from building up too much... huh."

She keeps walking, speeding up a bit to catch back up.

Peppino's Pizza

Oh, they're back. Fallen is lying on the floor in a heap. He lets out some sound between a groan and angry rambling before teleporting off. I doubt he'll be back.

Solopost - Reprium

Somewhere, tucked away in a cave, things were stirring.

"Fresh toys~... To spread the joy~..."

The squelching of flesh and the clicking of legs resonated, some odd growths attached to the walls and ceiling. They were a sickly grey, with multiple holes upon it that seemed to 'breathe'. Emerging from the holes were rather unassuming bug-like creatures that wandered out from the cave. Deeper within, protected by somewhat bigger bugs is...

A boy.

He speaks lightly, almost creepily dissonant, in a sing-song voice.

"To spread, to spread, oh, to make everything grey and red~..."

Vandalon, Dojo

Mordran was about to respond, when—

"Sir!" One of his Sikarii shouted, voice garble under several dozen wires and metal plates. "Hostile dropship detected, inbound!"

"Necron?"

"Fallen, sir!"

"Hmph. Not as bad. Still.." The Techmarine turned to Philip, Lute, and Merga. "Prepare yourselves for combat; the Fallen are a lesser threat than the Necrons, but this does not make them an easy foe. Take great care not to underestimate them; it will be your undoing." He explained, hoisting his battleaxe as the Sikarii ran, crouching behind cover and holding their rifles at the ready, with eyes fixed to the sky.

——

"Yes…" Cardell smiled in response. "Yes, it does."

His hands flung into a crossed guard over his head as Beruka’s kick came in, her foot crashing against his arms as the teacher fell back with a pained grunt. The force of the attack was enough to drop him to the mat but he quickly rolled backwards and onto his feet once more, dukes thrown up in front of him. His right forearm throbbed with pain.

"The Children of Man is divided into various different Orders, separate armies and factions-within-a-faction. Just to name a few, there’s the Academy of Magehood, the Beasthides, the Sons of Man with General Leon at their forefront, the Gold Crusades, and, of course…us. We train the Rune-Monks who go on to become valued agents, just one of us stronger than many a squadron or platoon in the other armies. Oh, they all use Willpower, of course, but us…well, we’re the most trained in it. While the soldiers of the other Orders are well-versed in utilizing their Willpower—save the Sons of Man, frankly—we teach our students to become experts in it. We hone not just our bodies, but our souls, and it is through such training, that the spirit of the very Champion himself becomes manifest within us." Cardell explained. He lowered on arm and lifted the other in front of his face, hands forming into a tight fist. An amber blaze sprung to life on it, but it did not seem to affect him in any way; though Beruka could feel the heat radiating off of it. "We accept his gifts, and use them better than anyone. This, my friend, is our true craft."

BASIC SKILL: FLAME STRIKE

He threw the burning fist forwards at Beruka’s chest, but reared it back first in a motion that gave the woman ample time to avoid it.

Donte also goes into a stinger-million stab, through sheer similarity of skill, their flurry of stabs manage to perfectly occupy the gaps left behind the other's stabs. Their blades lining up nearly exactly in spite of Devil Sword Dante's mightier size. Although when they end their thrusts, even in an equal trade, Donte would lose to DSD's sheer girth outmatching his Rebellion, allowing Dante the lead in tempo.

"You compensating for something with that?!"

....

William did, in fact, consider the chance of unga bunga. Noticing how Fighter's targeting the blade itself rather than him. He quickly loosens his grip and lets the Hand of Malenia go flying off — probably lodging somewhere near a building — in hopes of getting a head start in running the hell away from Fighter.

His main source of extra energy-less range is gone but he can just die at a later point anyway, right?

Thor (Plural)

With Thor probably right up in THOR's face as he furiously tells him off, complete with accusations that may infuriate THOR due to them revolving around Odin and give away that they're planning something in case Thor is right and THOR is on Odin's side, Iris chooses to intervene more physically this time. She creates a crystal barrier between the two, trying to separate them.

"Enough! This is not the time to fight!", she says. She quickly looks at THOR.

"How about I answer your question-"

Iris points up at the sky.

"Up there? And then Thor and Sarah can talk-"

She points at the sand.

"Down here? That way we can all talk in peace and relative quiet."

Just in case THOR is already getting too angry at these accusations to listen, Iris starts flying up a bit already.

"Wanna bet I'm faster than you?", she challenges THOR.

Meanwhile the Deliderp gets back up and looks at Sarah, looking curious, as if it recognizes her from somewhere. But it's probably thinking about her counterpart, since they once explored an abandoned Assassin base together.

Jumanji

The Stalker gets hit by Sam's wooden railing swing, but not only does he recoil even less than Van Pelt did, he just looks at her for a moment as she backs off, then grabs the wooden railing and has it literally melt in his hand. It doesn't burn or turn to ashes, it melts. Once it's partly melted he just tosses the molten wood back towards Sam, though he doesn't even bother to aim so it's not hard to dodge.

Though considering she's on one knee, Gravia's intervention may be the only thing that prevents her from getting hit anyway.

The Stalker then turns to Mai for a moment, eyes narrowing. Wait, that's his face, not a mask!?

"All players will experience Game Over by my hand..."

He now seems to switch targets to Mai because he starts approaching the bookshelf she and the crocodile are hiding behind. As if her (technically accurate) claim angered him.

Luin, meanwhile, should be starting to feel the effects of her body vanishing. Her time is almost up. And with the bookshelf about to fall on her, it seems like nobody'll be able to help her in time before the game is finished.

However, two things then happen.

Something slides over the ground, going underneath and through the Stalker's robe to reach Luin right before the bookshelf falls on her. While trapped under there the object slid to her starts to glow, and she'll be able to read the text on it.

Get out of Jumanji Free: Good for one use each

*Return to your world out of the game: Used

*Remove your token from the board: Unused

If she manages to grab and use the card, her token will be taken off of the board and her body will be restored immediately regardless of if Jumanji ends this turn. Ken must've snapped out of his fear enough to move and slide the card to her.

The act of Ken doing so gets the Stalker's attention again. He sees the boy brandishing brandishing his bat, looking ready to fight despite being visibly terrified as his knees tremble.

"That girl's right, y'know? The only one who broke the rules is me."

"And so you shall perish first.", is the Stalker's response, going back towards Ken now. Ken's eyes narrow and begin to glow, after which books start flying out of bookshelves and flying around the Stalker, who responds by starting to smack them out of the air. If this is Ken's doing, he's likely trying to buy time.

But it's not buying him much, as the Stalker eventually just chooses to deal with this annoyance and continue walking towards him. Ken backs off but hits a bookshelf. His eyes go wide when he realizes he's trapped.

As if that wasn't bad enough for Ken, who has his attention solely on the Stalker now, a certain someone loads his gun from behind a different bookshelf.

"So the rude little yank has a backbone after all. However..."

Van Pelt takes aim at Ken through a hole in the bookshelf.

   "That will not save him."

Lastly, the board glows again, and its message changes one final time.

The End is nigh, the dark will dissipate;

When one throws a 5 or 8.

And once you do, to get off scott-free;

The winner must declare Jumanji.

True to word, the pillars of darkness will only disappear if someone throws a combined 5 or 8 (throwing 5 with one die and another number with the other will not count). Then they must vocally declare Jumanji to finish the game which, as the game suggests, should revert all the effects of the game since it began.

No new Danger Cards will appear now.

THOR smiles through Thor's speech. Or he would have done so, if he wasn't struck off-guard by the "have done". Then, his face just becomes confusion, THOR looking away from Thor as he keeps listening. And as Thor's speech ends, THOR himself doesn't respond in any way, instead having a look of irritation upon his face.

This worries Sarah, because THOR only react in silence to stuff that really bothers him. And she knows that, if properly motivated, THOR could do catastrophic damage to Thor. And Iris, since she's try to stop him. And Sarah. And the Deliderp. And Sarah doesn't mind the damage, but she mind it happening to other people.

Even as Iris makes her demands, Sarah barely acknowledge her or the bird, instead preparing to punch THOR out of the way and then teleport Thor and Iris... she didn't know. But somewhere where they could probably better prepare. And by somewhere they could probably better prepare, she meant that she might have to ask Angel or Anne to help her out, because the Sister knows she can't punch THOR out in an actual fight.

But THOR's reaction...

... is to sit up straight.

What did you just say.

There's no glorious bolt of lightning, or island-shaking roar, or earth-splitting punch. THOR simply stop yelling and start talking, his voice loud but... rumbling. Like it could get so much worse at any moment. Standing up straight, Thor glares down at the group, moving his hand to the side when he sees Sarah step his way. And tellingly, he doesn't even move to shatter the crystal wall.

His body language is completely still, his face is calm, his eyes don't blink. He's completely quiet for once.

I've heard what you said about Odin.

I don't mind your insults. They're much like your power to me. All bark. A feeble bite.

But what do you mean by Odin not seeing any further use to Set?

Thor raises a single enormous finger, his face for once dead serious.

Explain yourselves now.

Sarah frowns, clearly unused to these displays of Tranquil Fury from THOR. When she glances at the trio, she looks a little bit pleading.

I've never seen him like this. I'll help you if you piss him off - But you really better not do that.

As bitter, pissed off and itching to pulverize Myth!Thor as he was, Thor can't help but smirk a little at how he'd clearly managed to rattle the lumbering bully.

"That's right, arsehole. I know all about you and Odin's little grand scheme. How you were the deceitful old bastard's ever blindly obedient blunt instrument as he willingly made both your Loki and Set thorns in this realm's side, then tossed them to the wolves once they stopped being useful, all while making everyone who got dragged into those forsaken conflicts his unwitting pawns," he retorts, fearlessly looking Myth!Thor dead in the face.

"If you plan on silencing me now that I've uncovered the truth, then by all means, I dare you to try. Please, give me a reason to finally put you down like the rabid, bloodthirsty beast you are and send your head back to Odin."

Iris groans, pinching the bridge of her nose. If THOR really was in league with Odin they'd now given away the element of surprise. And if not they may have made an enemy of a potential ally.

She keeps the crystal barrier up, but to be honest, either Thor could probably smash through it if things came to a fight.

The Deliderp looks at the two Thors for a moment, then sits down, as if it wants to see how this ends up going. ... that, or it just felt like sitting down.

oh my fucking god Sarah pinch the bridge of her nose like Iris. Unlike Iris, she take a step to separate Thor from THOR, but is once again taken by surprise when THOR frowns, looking taken aback.

WHAT he questions, elaborately. AND ON WHAT ARGUMENTS DO YOU ACCUSE THE ALLFATHER OF THE CRIMES OF CONSPIRING WITH THE LIKES OF SET, WHO HAS MADE HIMSELF GUILTY OF DIVINE SIN BY TRYING TO DESTROY THE REALM OF HUMANKIND? THOR asks, leaning towards Thor.

He, indeed, decide to rather pointedly smash through the wall, attempting to grab and yank it aside, flinging the crystals across the forest. But not to attack Thor: Just to stare at him without a barrier in the way.

Sarah rolls her eyes and point her thumbs at the two Thors, in a "get a load of this guy" moment aimed at Iris and Deliderp.

Without the Allfather's blessing of God Wave, your endeavor against Set would've been perhaps far costlier. Not even you have the delusions to deny this.

What evidence is there to justify your slander? Says THOR, although he has a vague tone of... expecting Odin to be pulling bullshit. Like he'd be ready to accept any evidence, so long as its solid.

Sarah briefly frown, briefly taken aback by a detail of what THOR last post.

"Oh, spare me the false outrage. The only reason your father even joined that battle was to cover his tracks while ensuring Set's strings were properly cut. His blessing was nothing more than another way to manipulate everyone else involved," Thor replies, not even blinking when Myth!Thor tosses the crystal barrier aside. "As for how I know Odin was the true architect behind Set and the Cabal's reign of terror, I saw it for myself. A being called Gor - one 'r' - showed Loki and I how he had been manipulating Set for his own personal gain right up to when he was poised to completely annihilate all of existence. And wouldn't you know it, his plan involved giving Set exactly what he needed to become such a monumental threat in the first place."

If he noticed Iris and Sarah expressing their frustration with the standoff, he was making a point of ignoring them.

"Of course, I suspect you already knew that, given how blindly loyal you are to that fraudulent old tyrant."

Withervine Library

"What the hell were you thinking?" Throughout this game, Gravia's voice has steadily lost its sing-song quality to take on a harsh tone, and now she's swearing. Things haven't been fun for... anyone, really. She flicks her hand and rolls the dice.

2+2

And nothing happens. She lets out a sigh, which is quite funny since she doesn't breathe.

"Look, I... I get it, I really do." Even as Gravia speaks, she's looking around the corner, trying to ensure the safety of the others. "But just now-"

Van Pelt's loading his gun. In complete silence, Gravia floats off to the space above the bookshelves, moving until she's directly overhead Van Pelt. Getting ideas from Ken, she projects an anti-gravity field on a nearby shelf, causing its numerous books to float around her.

Gravia slams down just behind Van Pelt, bringing with her a swarm of heavy library books. She hops up into the air again, and flies in circles around him at high speed, trapping him in a whirlwind of books. Some of those books slam into nearby shelves, perhaps passing through them & ejecting into other aisles like projectiles. Or even causing bookshelves to fall over. Who knows what can happen?

She keeps moving around Van Pelt in a haphazard manner, trying not to get shot herself. Though she does have a wall of books with her.

Gor? Like the church of... Sarah groans and walk over Deliderp to try to stand in front of it, in case something happens. She'd pick it up, but it'd mean having it in front of her. Thor, what if it's trying to manipulate you? It seems like you should be careful with taking what it has to say at face value.

No no. You don't get it, Little Sarah. Obviously... the smaller Thor has a dislike of gods, as is! THOR says, with a scoff. His boiling resentment is clear in his voice and tone! And in his eagerness to find us guilty, he's listened to the first person to give his bitterness even more room to grow! Whatever that Gor said, it's obviously what he'd wanted to hear! Sarah looks a bit confused, but nod. It made sense.

Too much sense... was THOR okay? He seemed to have been a bit rattled by the accusations. And Thor being very hostile didn't help matters. Any other day and THOR would've angrily ripped his head off his body with Iris and Sarah powerless to stop him before it'd be too late.

And... well, she wasn't about to tell it right now, but she knew that Thor could be as brash as THOR when it came down to it. Freeing Troa and Katre by going behind the other Sister's backs, everyone? With the right amount of tricks and illusions, she could buy him being manipulated into some deity's doing. But, what for? Odin was an immortal God, with a capital G, capable of making a mockery out of fighters above her weight level.

And Thor was nice, but she wasn't sure he was in a league where he could compete with that.

AND YET THOR glances up at Iris and Sarah. I WOULD BELIEVE IT! FOR MY FATHER ALWAYS HAD ONE GOAL : TO STOP THE COMING OF RAGNAROK. THE END OF OUR AGE, THE FLAMES OF CHAOS SPREADING ACROSS OUR WORLD - IN EVERY SINGLE THREAD OF TIME, EVERY SINGLE REALM, EVERY SINGLE PAN OF SPACE, TO WASH IT ANEW. WITH OUR DIVINE BLOOD AS OFFERING TO APPEASE THEM - AND THE GIANT CORPSE OF SUTUR AS FUEL TO CRAFT A NEW EXISTENCE Thor spreads his arms, then put them on his chest. ODIN WILL DIE CONSUMED BY THE DREAD FENRIR WHILE I WILL PERISH TO JORMUNGANDR! THE GREAT WORLD SNAKE!

ODIN HAS SOUGHT TO PREVENT THIS, NATURALLY! THOR says, eyeing the other Thor. Now he was sure he hadn't mentioned this to Iris.

For, though he had suspicions of Odin indeed being treacherous, THOR found it difficult to fully blame his old man. The end of existence, his brutal death, a world beyond that he'd never get to know... It was harsh, for an eternal existence to suddenly end. And one could argue Odin was trying to protect an unimaginable quantity of souls, past, present and future, from annihilation.

But at the same time, THOR detested the implications of Odin manipulating mortal lives beyond their universe. And helping Set... It made a disturbing amount of sense to him.

AND THUS OVER THE EONS HE HAS TRIED TO CHEAT FATE IN VARIOUS WAYS. THIS ONE OF MANY - BUT BOLDER THAN MOST. FOR HE WOULD HAVE REACHED BEYOND HIS WORLD TO DO SO!

You seem quick to think your own father really did all that stuff! Sarah yells, putting her fists on her hips.

I KNOW HIM FIRMLY! MORE THAN ANY OF YOU THREE WOULD EVER KNOW. FOR I AM BUT THE PRODUCT OF HIS DIVINE SE-

Game

The Mimic Ball mimics Empower. Its next physical attack will be powered up.

With Jax about to target one of the remaining Pymlis, Cassidy has Evan use Swan Flight on the other remaining Pymli, just in case it works out.

The Mimic Ball mimics Swan Flight. However, it can only target the same target. So if Evan's Swan Flight already worked, the Mimic Ball's will miss by default instead of targeting the other remaining one.

Grape has Gregory use Hide-and-Seek to become less likely to be targeted for a few turns. Not of much use right now, but it might be once they get to El Mirage. Since the Mimic Ball cannot be targeted for attacks anyway, it doesn't mimic the move.

Lastly, with Victoria back at full Biomass and a Shield Wall still active thanks to the Mimic Ball earlier on, Sam has Victoria use Debilitation on the Pymli Jax is about to target. Together these attacks may do the trick.

Mimic Ball mimics Debilitation too of course.

Wind Caller

"A thing? ... ooh! A couple! How romantic!", Flayn says to Reyna, despite the latter admitting she's not the romantic type.

And then Megan shows up.

"Oh! Are you her girlfriend? You both have to tell me what-"

"No they do not! Apologies for Flayn's snooping.", Seteth quickly says as he grabs Flayn by her shoulders and drags her back a bit. She crosses her arms and pouts a bit.

But then she, Seteth and Seiros all look shocked.

"Did you say Sothis!?", Seiros asks, sounding... not shocked, but almost desperate in a way.

However, when Nicole describes what Sothis looks like, they all pause, then seem to be disappointed.

"That... as much as most of that sounds like her..."

"The Sothis we knew was not a little girl."

"A cruel amount of coincidences. But it cannot be her."

"However...", Seiros now says, getting the attention of the other two.

"This world... it is a world where anyone from any world can end up. Nicole may not have met her, but perhaps one day she may appear here. And we can all reunite. It would be a dream come true.", Seiros says, closing her eyes and clasping her hands together as if praying.

"I hope so. I think even they will come back to us if that were to happen.", Flayn says while looking at there Indech and Macuil went off to.

"Perhaps... we can only hope.", Seteth says. A brief small smile betrays that he too would be happy should they get the chance to meet their Sothis again.

"But as for now, let us be off."

Seiros, cheered up by the thought that she may one day meet Sothis here again, walks over to Past Alear. Figuring she may still need some moral support, she puts her hand on Past Alear's shoulder to let her know she can count on her.

With that, they'll (likely all) start walking off.

"I mean, she literally introduced herself as Sothis. Unless Loki was pulling off some big elaborate prank or I was hallucinating for some friggin' reason, I'm pretty sure she was the genuine article," Nicole replies, a little weirded out by the fact that Serios and co. were doubting that she really met Sothis.

With that, she follows after the party with Robyn not too far behind.

"Since when did you become an expert about Gor, Sarah? As strange and alien as they are, they provided actual evidence of Odin's treachery," Thor replies.

His gaze flickers to Myth!Thor as the latter speechifies about Odin and Ragnarok.

"Or to put it more simply, Odin is a coward who was willing to doom countless lives, jeopardize entire worlds, and put existence itself at risk in order to save his own worthless skin and preserve his precious power," he says bluntly.

Thors

"Ragnarok? The End of All? The True Apocalypse?", Iris asks aloud, though to nobody in particular. She flies back down now.

"... Is your world really fated to have a life-wiping event no matter what?", she asks.

The Deliderp seems to perk up at the talking about Ragnarok, though for what reason isn't quite clear.

Wind Caller Aftermath - The Road to Fort Dawnguard

Along the way, those who need explanations receive them.

How Anna's Einherjar work, and how they were freed from the book. How the Shepherds fought against Einherjar Julius and his Loptyr Church. How an attack by the cult, believed to have killed the Shepherds, covered up a mass disappearance brought about by the enigmatic entity Gor. How the Neo Shepherds formed in their absence, and assisted in the grueling battle to retrieve the original Shepherds from another world. How many of the Shepherds chose to return to their original worlds, leaving the Neo Shepherds to continue the fight against Loptyr and new threats.

About the attack on the Annas in Gerudo Town. How the battle revealed that the Einherjar Julius is seemingly possessed not by an equivalent Einherjar Loptyr, but by a variant of the real Loptyr. How Kirrey, a person with the power to summon heroes from many worlds (including the one Seiros's group hail from), was involved in the battle. How Kirrey, now under strict watch by the Neo Shepherds, has summoned another world's Julius specifically to counter-strategize against the Einherjar Julius. Finally, how that, plus the rumors going around, all led to Reyna and Legendary Alear seeking out the Immovable and Wind Caller for their weapons.

Jumanjo

Mai freezes up (heh) at the Stalker's approach, though Ken comes to the rescue. She shakes herself out of it and grumbles what might be a begrudging thanks to Ken. How nice of her. Not that she makes any move to help Ken, besides grabbing the dice and-

"Ha! In your face you [CENSORED DEMONIC CURSE WORD] Bonehead!" Mai says, as her piece moves to the final space. "Jumanji!"

Hopefully that means things go back to normal. Like any toxic gamer though she's already popping off by high fiving the confused crocodile.

Is it evidence? Or is it stuff they showed you, knowing you'd be taking it at face value? Sarah answers. I might not have met Gor, but something about this whole deal tells me you probably aren't an expert at it either.

She groans and rub her temples when Thor brush off Ragnarok. It's easy to say someone's a coward when you're the one not doomed to get eaten by a giant wolf, Thor, she says, feeling like she'll need to take a pill after this. If you're right about this, we'll need to make Odin pay. He took a big risk that could've doomed a lot of worlds and lives.

As far as Odin is concerned, everything he knows is going to burn and vanish from existence one day. It's fine to think he's preserving power for himself, but... maybe he's just scared at the idea of not existing anymore, you know? His son will die, his kingdoms will die, countless timelines, planets, universes are going to vanish to nothing. Wouldn't you be desperate in his place?

I'm not asking you to take pity on him. He could've done worse to other worlds letting Set go free, she adds. But you really like being reductive with people you dislike. And maybe it won't bite you in the ass with Odin, but you might end up bullrushing into a very complex situation on accident.

Nevermind that Odin is a God. Ruling a kingdom of gods each immortal and capable of ravaging celestial bodies when they get going. You're aware of that, right? They don't roll at all like your Asgard, Sarah pokes at her temples yet again. You should be really careful about what you're being led to do. Because, I'm gonna be honest, it's not your first time getting really pissed off at someone and walking into game that's been rigged against you.

Yes. THOR says to Iris. I'VE MADE PEACE WITH THAT BUT ODIN HASN'T! ITS ALWAYS BEEN A POINT OF CONTENTION - HIS INABILITY TO LET GO. That I could master something like this while he doesn't is vexing to me.

THOR briefly look away. Odin wants to preserve the world he breath life into. The one where his children lives. One brimming with hidden potential and knowledge after eons of existence. We must go so that another world may be born from our ashes, that is true! But to Odin, it is bitter to know that his true world will die in flames and terror, its inhabitants condemned to scream in horror as their existence are taken into the void.

THOR once again briefly pause, but his eye twitch at Thor's dismissal of Odin's reason to fight.

He wants to go ahead. He want to call him a spoiled little simp, who could never understand what Odin had to go through, being a powerful but helpless puppet. Thor never had to take truly hard decisions. He'd argue against that, surely, but he never had entire universes hanging over his shoulder, tending to them while knowing they'd burn. His entire life had essentially been "run around, trade quips and banters with my allies, bash bad guys, awkwardly try to put on moves on some pretty blond".

As far as THOR saw his blond self, his talks of being "wise" and "humble" were that, just talk. For his countless errors in the past had clearly demonstrated he could still be conceited, arrogant and blind when it mattered the most. And THOR would love to finally snap at him. He truly wished, at this very moment, to rip Thor's little sittle axe out of his hand and hack his limbs apart one per one with it. Shrugging off his feeble lightning in the meantime, taking time between each swing to let Thor realize the true difference in strength between a petty little alien and a God.

But that would hurt Sarah. For despite his flaws, Thor was very much liked by mortals. Maybe they saw something in him that THOR didn't, for such was their wisdom. But THOR didn't want to cause them harm by harming his smaller self.

But still... His choices are flawed. His decision wrong. But there is some merit to wanting to preserve his world, right?

He'll be punished for what he did. If he insists on pushing against a power greater than his, than surely he'd appreciate me doing the same, THOR scoffs. But I will not have my father dismissed as a tyrant or a coward. If you do so again, then, I swear upon this world, I'll beat the living shit out of you. And as he speaks, THOR leans forward, putting his index finger and thumb together.

I won't break the world in half.

I won't break this island in half.

Sarah, Iris and the bird won't be hurt.

But I'll break you.

Your weapons won't save you.

Loki won't save you.

Sarah won't save you.

I'll put my grievances with you to a close here and now.

Then, we'll work on punishing Odin after I scrape you off the floor.

Or we can just get to work now. FOR THOUGH YOU ARE VERY DUMB TO TRUST AN ENTITY WITH AN ODD NAME LIKE GOR

MY FATHER HAS DENIED ME A PONY AND I AM MOST ANGRY WITH HIM! THOR laughs, widening his arms and slamming them into his stomach, breaking out into laughter.

...

Corrin doesn't get the donuts part but he laughs, partly out of reflex (because he can tell it's a joke), partly because... well, maybe his mood has been uplifted for real at this point!

At this point, the whole event was worth it as far as he was concerned. Baratheon and Cecil had been pretty good interactions for him. And that's what he wanted out of this, right? Beside chilling? He wanted friends. Because he could tell that maybe he needed that to start moving on?

He wasn't sure if they had.... "telephones" (well Baratheon totally didn't) but he was kind of hoping that they'd be able to meet again. He liked them. They were nice. Or, well, maybe Baratheon was mostly just nice to him. But still.

I'm flesh, scales and bones. He says, sticking his tongue out and having a laugh over his own joke. A genuine laugh. He himself stops halfway through to contemplate it, and he laughs even harder. Yo... you could say I'm a scaly person, but I'm actually nice, hahaha!

...

Nah, that was straight-up a bad one.

His enthusiasm hardly diminished, Corrin give Cecil a smile. Thank you for the talk. If the whole event doesn't become a death match, could we... find a way to meet again? We had a fun talk and I'd like to introduce you to my wife and, erm... I don't know, we could just be friends?

Beruka at the dojo nods, but keep her cool. With her right arm feeling the strain of Cardell's kick still. she's hardly taken aback to see him producing flames by sheer willpower. If anything, she'd almost expected him to do it. But it doesn't make it any less lethal, and had he not taken the time to practically mail her the punch, she would have perhaps needed to make a risky dodge.

However, even with her dodging, it's a risky dodge, and Beruka briefly freeze after dodging, her left eye widening slightly in worry. However, she chides herself for freezing up like this - it was her time to get creative, or at least daring.

Joker will heal me....... us. Beruka try dashing into Cardell, attempting to use her left arm to grab the part of his arm that's directly on fire. She focus her Cursed Energy on her left arm for that, and then try slamming her elbow on his stomach with her right arm, the shock of it sending a small shockwave through her damaged limb.

Then, she attempts to slide her right foot into his left ankle to lift him over her shoulder and slam him into the ground, in a bid to do to him what he'd done to her.

"Good, because I have zero sympathy for Odin. He willingly chose to enact that twisted plan and unleash Set's wrath upon existence, and because he's a god, I doubt he feels even a shred of remorse for what he's done or believes he was in the wrong," Thor says, suppressing his surprise upon learning that Sarah apparently felt sorry for Odin. "And rest assured, Loki and I have been working on a plan. We're not going to just march up to his palace, kick down the door, and hope for the best."

He just gives Myth!Thor the most stonefaced look imaginable throughout the latter's tirade.

"Try it, and I'll be more than happy to remind you that even gods aren't invincible, no matter what their unjustly bloated egos might tell them. You're familiar with the phrase 'pride before a fall', I hope," he replies. "But for once, you and I actually agree on something. We both have better things to do."

Jumanji, Swords, Dojo

Her body was fading her body was fading hoooo lee fuck her body was fading Luin was about to be killed by fucking board game

After all she had survived, all she had endured, she was about to be killed by a fffffucking board game. Then came the card, and Luin had barely finished reading the words upon it before her hand shot out and grabbed hold of it.

"I’m alive?" Luin gasped, staggering to her feet and patting herself down as though to make sure her eyes told her the truth. I’m…haha! Fuck yes! Oh shit—" The reminder that she was still in the game was swift and sudden, with the cocking of Van Pelt’s gun.

The woman watched Gravia’s effort to dissuade him from pumping the boy who’d just saved her full of lead. It was a valiant effort from the gravity machine…thing, but she’d seen the power of guns before, and she doubted that books, no matter how thick, would be enough to stop a speeding bullet. She couldn’t hope to actually fight Van Pelt, but…

But, she couldn’t just stand by and let this happen either.

"Alright…alright…alright, fuck it, go!" She shouted at herself, hyping herself up with a few hops before sprinting forwards, enduring the hailstorm of knowledge encircling the hunter and throwing herself at him, hoping to tackle him and disrupt his aim.

——

Liana seemed almost as survived to drive a blade through Odio’s back as the knight might’ve been to find a blade driven through his back—if not moreso. "Huh? I did…h-hey! Hey, I did it! Ha! In your face, mom, I told you swordfighting was a valid caree—"

You can calm down, Mahke, she took it…and without much contest, frankly. The woman’s corpse tumbled to the ground and she respawned elsewhere, preferably closer to the bottom of the map. Both A and Corrin’s attacks hit but do little more than butcher an already dead body.

"OAUGH WHUZ UP GIT!!" Was the only warning William might’ve received before Okksbad charged across the battlefield, directly at him and singling him particularly out for no reason more than he seemed the easiest target, a bluehaired twink amidst a group of, frankly, rather fearful swordsmen. Okksbad cleaved his weapon downwards at the man’s shoulder, aiming to part the flesh and BURY THE BLADE

Guts chops Nelo Angelo’s head off cuz i dont frel like weiting for him this turn, but if anyone else attacked him this round they get the kill instead; immediately following Guts glanced about himself before dashing to the nearest other fight that my characters aren’t involvedin: Apothea and Cardboard. He first starts by trying to thrust his blade into Apothea’s head from the side and utterly decimate it, making a rather unsubtle entrance.

——

Cardell’s eyes widened in surprise as his own momentum was used against him and he was judo thrown over Beruka’s shoulder and onto the mat; but when next she looked upon him, there was only approval.

"Good, good!" He grinned from ear to ear, though there would be little time for a response from the woman, whether verbal or physical: the teacher drew a closed fist to his chest, purple light glowing within his palm for but a moment before he unfurled his fingers.

SIMPLE SKILL: SHOCKWAVE

A spherical blast of visibly purple energy exploded out from his core, doing very little in the way of actually damaging Beruka, yet likely launching her away from him and against the ropes. If it did, he hopped to his feet and almost gave in to instinct: if Beruka bounced off the ropes with the momentum injected straight into her body like cocaine, he could angle a kick at her chin and…no, that felt unnecessarily aggressive. He had to remember his job was to teach above all else, not to win. Those days were over. He’d stand by as she (maybe) passed.

"Hm," He chuckled to himself. Those silver streaks at the root of his short black strands of hair felt earned. He had done so much, survived things beyond speaking…this was his heaven. To settle down somewhere nice, somewhere comfortable, somewhere the sun shone through the glass roof above like it did here…to enjoy the rest of his days and spend them teaching the next generation.

The next generation…how often had he caught himself using that term? Truth be told, he’d seen dozens of next generations. To be sure, Cardell looked only in his early years of middle age, but his appearance betrayed his true count of years. He was very, very old, yet thankfully far from the days of facing off against the very threats he had told Beruka of. Things like the Shiftling, the Howling Moons, the Gray Man…they were all no more than ghosts now, ancient enemies long since vanquished lifetimes ago, and yet he had lived long enough to end their tale and then tell it years later.

And it was all thanks to one, singular reason.

"Can I let you in on a little secret?" He asked with a sly grin, spreading his arms and leaning against the ropes. He did not attack, as though waiting for Beruka to throw one of her own; he wanted to see how she moved when not pressured with needing to counter another attack.

EXCELSUS

With EXCELSUS having actively ignored Croque, the Apocalypse rail made a direct hit! A massive explosion ensues, the entirety of the mech shook and staggered at the onslaught of that single shot. The ground shook at the abrupt movements it made as it tries to maintain balance. It's enough to leave the mech completely open for everyone else to wail on it while recovering!

MG EXCELSUS 72.1%

And wailed on it did get, Vincent's efforts paid off as — with impeccable timing of the Apocalypse Rail — she manages to find herself on top of the leg. Through the plumes of smoke is a leg of the mech, it suddenly expands and separates itself upon when she landed. Allowing her to potentially take out its leg now that the gigantic mech remains idle for now.

Assuming Monica severs the leg, the behemoth would groan in pain before its head descends close to Kado, if the Jedi can get up in time, he could get a few hits off right before the head would be headed its way back up again!
