Shin'en

It's Taye's turn to blush. This was not how he expected to be- put those thoughts aside for a moment and focus on what's actually important now.

He shakes the pins & needles out of his body, moves to slot the diving suit back in its locker (his ability to change clothes really fast is useful), and turns back to Kaisui.

"So, uh, one question at a time... What exactly is an 'ancient one'? I could make some guesses, but I would rather not assume..."

Sukuna doesn't panic. He simply let the other Regigigas bail him out. It should benefit from having the staf buffs, so he can get going on something to add to Kado's useful contribution to the team : a debuff to add on top of it. A mask made of blue flames once again appear on his face before he swipes it away, dismissing the fraud sword and summoning something capable of doing some real damage to the mighty golem's attack, speed and defense.

The shoulders upon whom a great empire rested. Mother Harlot!    The non mutilated version of Mother Harlot is a skull-faced woman sitting on top of a six-headed hydra, holding a wine of blood and letting out a creepy echoing laughter in her wake. Hardly a "good guy" power but, then again, they hadn't seen the Cursed variant, hadn't they? Sukuna chuckled inwardly.

Acid dew. Unclear Cloud. Heavy Light. Debilitiate!    The attack's effect isn't immediate : instead, Mother Harlot start flying back further into the cave. Not so far enough from the group that they can't back it up, but not so close enough that it'd be targeted by an area of effect. It can float anyway, so it doesn't need to be on the platform.

Two of its heads begin to luch forward in a silent scream, their mouths glowing a dim red light. The next turn, two more heads would do the same, with a blue light this time. Then, the final two would do the same with a green light and, in the same turn, cast Debilitiate. An unblockable, unavoidable move that will severely lower the rampaging Pokémon's stats for three turns.

It's the same move that Goku had used on Goku and William. And part of the reason why the Saiyan was now nothing more than screaming fuel for Rainmaker's hell engine. Sukuna was confident that they'd at least be able to get the upper hand on that golem even if it ran out. And he was always glad to be able to test such a useful spell when he could : the whole battle, really, was just him gaining more experience with those odd powers.

But of course, there was an obvious weakness. Mother Harlot would be a sitting duck for three turns. Against an enemy that, even while weakened, brought devastating strength and deceptively high speed to the table.

I can weaken it, but we'll need to buy my Persona some time!    Joker yells. Being forced to seemingly do battle by himself with his spirit guardian busy, he draws a long black dagger fit for a phantom thief, but wait for his turn like a polite RPG protagonist.

DEBILITIATE 1/3 ATK/DEF BUFF: 1/3

...

Megumi sees Koro-Na in all its business but keep going. He's a Japanese boy who's spent a lot of his time in Tokyo. And while the size and width of the populace is different from his home, he's not alienated. And thus he can keep up with Fee, darting around if needed but keeping good track of her.

By the time they make it to the leader, he's hardly fazed at the sight of a giant lizardman. Maybe because he's fought one recently. Or maybe being able to summon literal shadow monsters has made him more open to bizarre business. Who was he to say to? He took note that another explorer had arrived at the exact same time, the timing of it being lightly amusing if nothing else.

Megumi bows politely, keeping his arms down the length of his body, although he moves them with his upper body. I am Fushiguro Megumi. I'd like to be of service to this island again. He says, figuring that it's better to be blunt.

Festival

GIR just tilts its head in confusion at Pecharunt not being happy being held. Maybe it should shake it a little?

Cue the glow in the sky becoming more bright, catching the attention of Ninten and co (but not Team Rocket because they're currently KO'd).

"I'll solve this little conundrum in a moment!"   , Zim grins as he looks at Pecharunt.    "For you see, my little Minimoose will simply blast that PATHETHIC CREATURE into oblivion! ... and probably the rest of this place too but who cares!? VICTORY FOR ZIM!"

Ninten, Ana, Lloyd and Teddy are alarmed, but Pippi walks up to Zim with her hands on her hips as she looks down at him.

"So you're gonna nuke this whole festival with tons of innocent people in it, most of them either KO'd or unaware of everything that happened here, just to get rid of that small thing that's already basically beaten?"

"Yes of course, foolish little girl!"

"I'm taller than you-"

   "IRRELEVANT!"

Pippi looks back at Ogerpon and GIR for a moment.

"What about your friends? They're here too."

"Pish posh. I AM ZIM! Zim does not have FRIENDS! EUGH! BLEGH! Friends are for foolish lower lifeforms! No, Zim has MINIONS! Minions can be replaced on a whim! ... besides, GIR has survived worse anyway."

"But-"

Zim dramatically points at Pippi.

"SILEEEEENCE, fool! Witness my ultimate victory and despair! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-"

...

Okay, if Ogerpon, until this point, had just assumed Zim to be weird and eccentric but mostly harmless, this should make her realize that, no, he's genuinely freaking insane and she should probably stay far away from this lunatic.

Pippi lets out a sigh and suddenly grabs Zim by the sides of his overly large (but not quite as large as Dib's) head. He stops laughing and just stares.

"What are you doing?"   , he asks rather casually.

"Y'know, I've been punching people's lights out since this fight started, and I've been holding back a lot."

Pippi shows a furious grin.

"Wanna see what happens when I don't?"

   "... Not particularly, no-"

Pippi suddenly throws Zim upwards so fast that Zim disappears into the sky near instantly, his screech perfectly cut for comedic effect. He rams into the still-charging Minimoose on his way up and knocks it out of the sky, resulting in an explosion that sends him further up even faster, disappearing into a twinkle.

Invader Zim is blasting off again!

Ninten and co (and GIR) can't help but laugh at the sight.

Reiss was described to be alike to them in some manner by one of their aforementioned mainland lizardmen so to see them in the flesh kind of intimidates him in some subtle way.

"Any chance she has a calling to nature?"

"Or attracts a shitfucking assblasting dragon every step they make"

Mark and Reiss just glare at him in second-hand embarassment, hoping to get this over with to start the real antics after they've been "cleared" or however this place operates.

Adamrena

"Huh? That wasn't even supposed to hurt him."

Feeling his Dismantle halve itself, William can only conclude Adam managed to see it coming and intercept. It confuses him but on the bright side he can let loose, yet on the other, it's interesting.

William notes Adam targeting anything that vaguely comes his way and tries to explore that idea further.

He hesitates interruptfing the fight between the gigahads but Reiko jumping in gives him an excuse to join in.

Coming in from the side with a double slash, he dashes for the purple guy in tandem of Claus' shot going off. One of his blades amped with Cursed Energy whilst the other left completely empty. The latter shattering on contact while the former dealing a real blow.

"Good friends!?"

Ogerpon is actually scared by Zim's sudden outburst. "Uh, okay, never mind! New plan!" She actually starts creeping closer to Pecharunt, intending to grab him and get out of there.

And then... Pippi makes some dirty fireworks. The lights from the explosion sparkle in Ogerpon's eyes as she watches in awe...

And then she starts laughing her ass off.

In the meantime, Malamar picks up the Loyal Three and hypnotizes them one by one, setting them to work on cleaning up the festival and repairing the stalls and trucks pronto.

Angel Reimu watches, arms folded, with a glare. They just got done dealing with a monster causing mass mind control, and now here's another one. She glances at Kirike, her very look cowing the girl.

"...I'll let it slide this time. They deserve it."

NY!Anna groans, blinks, and suddenly comes to. "Ugh, my head..."

Because of how desperately she was clinging to lucidity, she manages to retain her memory of what happened.

"YOU"

She starts storming up to Pecharunt, rolling up a kimono sleeve. But then, in a surprising twist, Ogerpon steps between them.

"No more fighting! What's done is done, there's no point to continuing the violence!"

"Ugh... Lady Iizunamaru I don't want more oni sake..." Tengu Anna groans in a daze, still not quite out of it due to having gotten a bigger dose it seems; what with being Pecharunt's vehicle for most of the event.

Pecharunt himself chuckles but then decides to slip out of GIR's grasp while the weird automaton is laughing. He looks ready to skedaddle with the Loyal Three but then NY!Anna is on the warpath. He hides in his peach-like shell but is surprised to see Ogerpon protect him.

"...So you're serious about this..."    Pecharunt begrudgingly says.    "You want to propose a... truce?"

Weathertop, Space, Gorm

Weathertop

"Again..?" Ammeltunn seemed at first perplexed, before he recognized the name. "Ah, of course. Megumi. You must forgive me, my mind finds itself rather occupied of late. Your additional aid would be very valuable. But first…" Ammeltunn’s amber eyes flickered to Lucien. "Hello, Lucien. I am Ammeltunn, though I suppose you may have already been told that. Petra, why have you brought him here?"

"He wasn’t on the manifest, so I figured I’d bring him to you. See what you wanted to do. But he did offer to help, so if you ask for my input…"

"I see." Ammeltunn stated plainly. His eyelids flickered shut and he seemed to enter a thoughtful trance. When they opened once more he parted his jaw, but no words were given the chance to come out.

The cathedral shook from the force of a bell’s tolling. It rung once…twice…three times, and Ammeltunn’s attention shot to the doors. "Ah, excuse me. Our discussion will have to wait—this would be the supplies we have been expecting. Come." The Saurus stepped past them and through the doors, out of the church. Fee and Petra followed. Though the crowds had grown even thicker as the denizens of Weathertop surged to see the supplies, they parted fluidly to make way for Ammeltunn and his guests. Unlike Fee it would be very difficult to lose sight of the Lizardman in it, given that he towered several feet above every elf and Skink, and a couple inches over the other Sauri.

Ammeltunn halted halfway down the slope, and he motioned for those in his company to do the same; had he seen something the others hadn’t?

A small group of wood elves and skinks rushed past him, down to the incoming covered wagon. It was emerging from a winding path coming out of the forest, pulled along by two Aptonoth. The creatures seemed weak and tired, but what was truly strange was the lack of anyone driving the cart. "I don’t like the feel of this," Fee commented simply. The eager group of soldiers surrounded the wagon, one wood elf going around the back and lifting the canvas flaps. Silence fell as he drew them back and looked up at the others, his face pale. "It’s…it’s empty."

From the forest behind it erupted a rain of spears and arrows. Pandemonium broke out as the group below tumbled to the ground, crimson liquid seeping out from beneath their bodies and staining the grass. Splinters of wood and clouds dirt were scattered by the projectiles which hadn’t managed to hit flesh, but a series of sharp yells and roars sounded further up the slope and inside the fort.

"Fall back!" Ammeltunn ordered. "Close the gates!" But by then, their attackers had already broke from the trees. The force consisted of Marshmen, pale, disfigured humanoids with primitive weaponry and even more primitive armor, crafted from dark tree bark, swamp foliage, and chitin from the carapaces of massive insects. They carried black blades made from said chitin, wood shields, stone-tipped spears, and a rare few even came equipped with steel swords in various states of damage.

But that wasn’t all, for accompanying them were several human bandits that wore chainmail hauberks over leather vests and greaves. Some even wore caps of hide or steel, though each bandit had an untidy, almost grotesque appearance to them. They carried blades and shields in much better condition than those of the Marshmen, though that wasn’t particularly saying a whole lot. A few had with them regular bows or even crossbows, but these were the ones who seemed to be less-well armored.

A second volley of arrows and throwing spears came upon those on the slope, and Fee tumbled backwards, an arrow embedding itself into her torso but thankfully not managing to penetrate her leather armor. Ammeltunn, elsewhile, barely deflected several arrows with a lift of his shield. "Go!" He roared to Petra, who scrambled away to join the crowd as they fell back. But whereas many of the elves and skinks retreated as they were told, a good number of the sauri failed to suppress their primal urges. They charged ahead towards the attackers and met them in battle, the field at the base of the slope running red already.

Ammeltunn looked to the closing gates above, then to the Lizardmen below. They were fools, thirsty for blood but not yet wisened by the hardships of war, though he couldn’t simply leave them behind. At last he glanced at Fee, Megumi, and Lucien. "You wish to help? Here is the chance!"

Further away from them yet was the squadron in the woods. "Ha! I take it you are familiar with her? Yes, she has told us tales, but thankfully we have not seen the Annihilation Nergigante for ourselves, and hopefully we never shall."

The bell’s initial tolling echoed towards them and a quiet murmur arose within the group. Captain Kelhorn turned to the trio with a smile. "Supplies have come." He explained. "If luck permits, we will have the means to feed you when we reach Weathertop before we send you on your way."

But then the yells of joy fell silent, and shouts of terror and of war replaced them. The squadron’s pace slowed and grew silent, but it was Captain Kelhorn who broke it first: "Something is wrong. Hurry! We must—" But before he could say any more, a dark green blur exploded from the trees and knocked him to the ground. On top of Kelhorn now was a wolf-sized crocodilian, jaws snapping at the captain’s face as he struggled to push it off. Almost immediately arrows were nocked and a good three even managed to plunge into the Kaprosuchus’ side, but the group found themselves faced with other concerns. This animal, of course, was not their only attacker: a mass of bandits and Marshmen, numbering nearly a dozen in size, were approaching from the distance, whooping and hollering. A series of arrows from five of them were loosed and the soldiers were forced to find cover, leaving their captain to fend for himself against the wolflike reptile.

——

Space

The man roared as he plunged his other hand into the Queen’s flesh and ripped it in half. He might’ve broken through the veil of insectoid blood to chase after the others, had he not checked himself. He couldn’t allow himself to grow to invigorated in the thrum of combat, less he devolve into some feral thing less than human. And so it was that Thorsig sighed and exhaled heavily, watching the stragglers scurry away. He took note of his surroundings, before looking to Lute in thanks for her aid at dispelling the barrier of insects. "Where am I?" He demanded. His tone was much calmer now, and yet no less powerful. "What..What year is it?"

——

Gorm

The Terrarian glowered in silent rage, before answering with a deeply spiteful tone. "Fine. Give me…a gun." He hissed at last.

"Right then..."

Lucien's wings sprout from his back once more, and he takes flight. He's still a bit too exhausted to use bigger spells, but he'll make do.

"Celeritas."

He speeds up with his haste spell, grabbing an odd staff from his bag and pressing the first inset button, whereupon the endpoint opposite the flanged head turns into a flaming spearhead.

He doesn't need to land to attack with this- rather, he controls the flames emitting from the staff, sending out short-lived whips of fire at the attacking Marshmen and raiders.

"Back, you pillagers! This settlement is under my protection!"

...I don't think they care, Lucien.

Space

"That... is a good fucking question. I've gotten a lot of different answers from the people here- Ranging from 'what's a date?' to millions of years. For me though, it's 2079. My tech probably reflects that..."

She motions to her relatively worn-down industrial tools, her makeshift spacesuit, and her bulky PDA she's got strapped to her wrist. She's also got a holstered pistol, it seems. A manufactured piece, white in color and based off the Glock platform.

"Anyhow... this your ship? I'm a salvager, but... I don't feel like pissing anyone off. Well, not today, at least. Maybe tomorrow."

Shin'en

Kaisui stretches a bit, sighing heavily before speaking.

"Ancients. Precursors. Those kinda things. I was... created by them. To save them from Jove. And now... well, I guess I kinda did that, huh?"

She smiles slightly.

"With my memory back, I remember... so much. I... I've gone beyond even an ancient- I'm like the personification of the Abyss itself, if that makes sense..."

Kaisui is shaking, all these newfound revelations nearly overwhelming her. She pulls her wetsuit off and changes back into her normal clothes, hiding herself using a locker door. Her nails, which before were most definitely not painted, are now a beautiful deep aquamarine color. And she's still shaking.

2070? Thirty-eight thousand years in the past? How was that even possible? Unless…

The Warp. Something had gone catastrophically wrong, and now the Warp had brought him to a foreign point in space and time; whether it be the same galaxy but several millennia earlier, or a different galaxy entirely. But…it would do no good thinking about this now. The thought confused his mind, so he set his mind elsewhere, to answering the woman’s query.

"It is. Or…it was." He confirmed. The man pushed off the ground and floated in the zero-gravity towards a wall. He reached out and felt the cold, ancient metal. A look crossed his face as painful memories flashed through his head. "It was always a pile of junk. Though, I suppose now that’s all it is. The bugs must be a more recent addition."

Despite his dramatics, Charlian felt himself reaching his own limits too. The excessive use of Cursed Techniques as well as utilizing a fusion between a Cursed Spirit and a SR is starting to tax his body. As soon as he witnessed the Jackpot failing, the young man immediately let out a groan, collapsed on his hands and knees, and started panting like an animal. Despite that, he is more than relieved. Midori failed to hit the Jackpot and her limbs are missing, so there's no way for her to make some miraculous comeback.

It's finally over.

The aspects of Thrudgelmir folded into itself and seems to have receded into his body, which then gradually transformed back into that of a normal human. Despite his tired state, the young man still forced himself to replicate a weapon that seems to be a long and jagged harpoon. He is a part of this battle, so it wouldn't be proper for him to run away from finishing her off.

However, the sight of Evie twitching on the ground gave him pause. Charlian took a deep breath and admonished himself for forgetting that the promise he made to himself is to focus on helping people, not to kill. So instead of trying to finish Midori off, he trudged towards Evie and crouched beside her, placing the harpoon on his back. Then, he replicated a Greater Healing Potion, carefully lifted the mage by her back, and brought the bottle to her mouth.

"Here, drink this." The Replicator muttered as he gave Artemis a silent nod of gratitude, as she will be finishing Midori off as he treats Evie. While he won't get his hands dirty, he's not exactly running away from this either. After all, he has contributed to the fight significantly, and did prepare himself to do what he considered unthinkable for the sake of helping others. Charlian still has a long way to go, but he is taking a decent first step.

There is no reply from the woods this time, but Awkeff can feel a pair of eyes on her. Sofie is searching for an opening, but just can't seem to find any, what with Awkeff and Viserys covering each other's blind spots.

Lucia attempts to put an end to that. She grabs a scroll out of her robes and creates a glowing object with an overwhelming pull that attempts to attract Viserys like a magnet and start dragging him into the sky - likely to eventually let him plummet to his doom.

If this succeeds, Sofie will attempt to abuse the newly created blind spot to somehow pop out of Awkeff's shadow in an attempt to fatally shank her before she can execute whatever scary-looking attack she's charging up.

He tries to smile, despite - or because of - everything that's happened. As he looks at Kaisui again, he notices her hands, both her new nails and the fact that she's shaking.

"We should eat, especially after such a tough battle."

Taye reaches into his jacket, and pulls out a colorfully-wrapped Cadbury bar. He peels the wrapper to reveal the chocolate within, and hands it to Kaisui. Interestingly, one of his own fingernails is covered in aquamarine nail polish.

While Taye gives Kaisui time to eat and relax, he nibbles on his own granola bar.

He seems to be deep in thought...

The rain showered down with a heavy roar. Luin felt it carry the blood above her eyes as it washed down her face, but she paid little mind to it or the fact that she was soaked. Her grip on the blade was iron-tight, and her gaze was unmoving upon the cackling Annihilation Nergigante. The stone ground of the Tower of Night surrounded them for a mere twenty meters, before dropping off into the endless abyss. Up here, the air was thin, and the clouds were nearly black.

"Tailwind," She snarled, "Steam, Rush…My village…You’re gonna pay for them all."

"Dis iz gunna be good."    The towering ork chuckled from between them, rising from his wounded kneel and flourishing the axe in his hands. With a scream, Luin plunged headlong into her final battle.

"Cut!"

The sprinklers stopped suddenly, and Kate paused in place. She turned to look at the crew, who were already in the midst of packing up. "Good job, everyone!" The director called from his seat. "Be here again tomorrow, we’ll finish up the final scene!"

Kate approached the massive Nergigante with a smile, patting his head affectionately. The Elder Dragon flopped over and panted, paws in the air, as she scratched his chin. "That’s a good boy, Max! Good boy." She coddled, before disengaging. As she made her way for the exit Kate looked over at the massive, prop armor-clad greenskin. "You should come to dinner with us tonight, Harold." She suggested with a smile, but the ork shook his head and reached into his pocket, putting his black-rimmed glasses back on.

"Can’t make it. Jessica’s got a piano recital."

"Shame. Well, have a good night!" Kate strolled off-set and towards the dressing room, eager to switch back into normal clothes.

Vampire Children

Thanks to Viserys' quick thinking, Awkeff is able to unleash her attack.

Good news for the vampire children is, it's not actually aimed at them. Bad news is, it doesn't really have to be.

She drives her hands into the ground. A tremor spreads from her, shifting the ground into sand-like particles and shaking it so thoroughly it takes on the flowing consistency of liquid. The surrounding trees finally give out, toppling, crumbling, and shattering all around them, leaving a huge hole in the forest and little to no cover to rely on.

And if Sofie dares emerge during the attack, she'll get pulled into the liquified ground, just in time for Awkeff to blow it up with one final pulse of vibrations.

Yawning Abyss

"Very well. This may be a bit unorthodox, but hold on."

First, Malzeno conjures another gun for the Terrarian, this one bigger, bulkier, but also stronger than the one he gave Pancho.

Then, he goes up to Rayne's Koraidon, sticks a foreleg in its mouth, and uses his tail to clamp its jaws shut, drawing blood. "Drink."

It's not just one last vampire reference for the road. Elder Dragons are naturally full of bioenergy, to the point their blood is a material in creating and enhancing powerful equipment. Feeding this blood to Koraidon, especially that of an especially powerful Elder, should give it a rapid boost in strength.

Zenitsu tries on the Primordial armor. "It's a good fit...huh. Thank you so much!"

Baiken takes a few practice swings with her new Silver Severer. "Not bad."

Malzeno nods. "May we meet again, in less turbulent times." With that, he spreads his wings and flies away.

Sub-Zero salutes Malzeno, then disappears in a whirlwind of frost.

Baiken and Zenitsu saddle up on Miraidon. Baiken gives Rayne and his Koraidon a glance and a raised eyebrow, but sets the matter aside, as Miraidon climbs out of the Yawning Abyss with them on its back.

Yawning Abyss

"Well, I'll be going then." Nitori said, hopping back into her mech and starting to climb out of the shitty pit. If anyone needs a lift home she'll probably begrudgingly let them ride with her on Robo Nessie to the coast but that's as far as she'll take anyone fore free.

"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."

In the midst of the cracking and shuffling of the ancient trees going down from the earthquake, a scream is suddenly heard. It seems that a trunk has fallen on Sophie, crushing her lower body. She spits out blood.

"Sophie, no!"

Lucia rushes to her sister's side, summoning two beefy Dremora simultaneously. Together, they are able to push the tree off the vampire girl, but it immediately becomes apparent her legs have been crushed under the weight. Nothing her vampiric regeneration won't fix in a day or two, but there's absolutely no chance for her to rejoin the fight.

Sofie grits her teeth and attempts to stand up, only to collapse in agony. Tears of pain and rage start pouring down from her eyes. "Why? Why are they so strong?"

"What did you expect?!" Lucia finally snaps. "Mom was the strongest. She never lost to anyone. But she lost to them. We never really had a chance." She summons a final creature from Oblivion, a giant blue Daedric wolf. "It's time to go."

Sofie spares one final venomous look at the Dragonborn. "This isn't over."

"It was over before it even started," Lucia says grimly as she commands the summoned Dremora to help her sister climb on the wolf's back. Sofie sits in front of her, and Lucia pulls her into a tight embrace. "I've already lost mommy. I'm not gonna lose you too." And just like that, the wolf takes off at lightning speed, rendering it impossible for the Dragonborn to pursue, even if they wanted to.

With both Lucia and Sofie finally retreating, Viserys allows himself to breathe a heavy sigh as he returns the Infinity Sword and Silmeri to their respective sheathes.

"Leave it to Farandare to find one last way to fuck with us from beyond the grave."

He allows Sapphire Starlight to fade away before shifting his gaze to Awkeff.

"You'd think Alleria would have told us that Farandare had been grooming two orphaned children into her personal assassins while she was still in power."

Awkeff sighs as well, as Everwyrm's Song fades away.

"Maybe Alleria never found out about them. Either way, I'm afraid they're a lost cause."

She lowers her Nightingale Hood and stretches. "Come, Bron Lokaliin. We should rest."

This altercation did not go unwitnessed, though. A red-haired, green-clad figure, still hidden in what's left of the woods, has been taking notes from afar. Perhaps those children would get along with the presently-sisterless Flandre...

Viserys nods.

"On that, Fahliil Lokaliin, I couldn't agree more."

He takes Awkeff's hand in his own and begins walking back to Lakeview Manor, making a mental note to ask his wife about the whole "ex-Thalmor" business she had mentioned later.

The Loyal Three awaken to Malamar standing over them. Too bad none of them are part Dark type, or they would have been safe from the hypnosis. Instead they are now entranced and cleaning up the mess they made.

GIR, meanwhile, doesn't even notice that Pecharunt isn't in his hands anymore, and now just wanders off while humming happily.

-

Team Rocket, meanwhile, also awaken. Save for Wobbuffet, who has pretty much fainted.

"What happened?"

"I feel like we got hit by a freight train."

"Again."

"Hm?", Jessie hums upon seeing Wobbuffet, and then it comes back to her.

"Ugh, some celebratory meal this ended up being. We got possessed, banged up, and-AH! The Prize Master is busted!"

"It is!? Oh no, dis is gonna be taken out of our paychecks for sure!"

"We really do get stuck with all the bad luck."

Pelipper now descends and lands on the Prize Master. Yes, it had been there the whole time. No, it was not going to risk its own safety to deal with crazy people, giant monsters and nukes.

"... do you think our insurance warrants this?", Jessie asks, to which Pelipper just shakes its whole body no. The trio sighs, then Jessie recalls Wobbuffet. James now remembers.

"Hold on, that girl still has one."

They now turn to see the Loyal Three being hypnotized into cleaning everything up.

"... well at least it ain't us."

James now approaches Kirike, holding his hand out.

"We'll take our Malamar back now. We'll get in trouble with the boss if we lose another rental Pokemon."

-

Ninten, Ana, Lloyd, Teddy and Pippi group back up.

"I'll go check if there's anyone here who needs some healing, and then we can leave. This break ended up being not much of one.", he says as he walks around to check on other people. Ana, Lloyd, Teddy and Pippi look at each other.

"Sooooo... do we tell him that he managed to summon one of those Keyblades?"

"Why wouldn't we?"

"Well... he may feel discouraged that he needed something like this to happen for it to work."

"But he may also feel invigorated if he knows it's possible to do!"

"Well, that's true too. Um... how about we bring up the subject of Keyblades in a bit and see how he responds. Then we decide on if we wanna tell him or not."

The others agree with this.

-

Florence now snaps out of it, still a little dazed and confused. What just happened? He doesn't remember the last ten minutes or so.

He looks down at his hand. When'd he take out his Arc Phone? And why is it activated-oh, it turned back off.

... odd.

"... I'm hungry again.", he mutters, though he doesn't feel much in the mood for more mochi for some reason. Oh well, he'd just head back to the city.

-

Kareko emerges from the wreckage of the food truck and dusts himself off a bit before feeling queasy again.

"Did I swallow poison or something, what's up with my body right now? This isn't the first time I've eaten mochi.", he mutters, sounding a little weak.

"Maybe the rice had gone rancid. Urp... I'm going back home for a bit."

He wanders off, hand on his stomach as he does so.

-

Lastly Ken is already back on his feet, now sporting a black eye. He almost touches it but winces before he does so.

"What the hell? I came here for a fun time and I end up getting knocked out?"

He looks around for the culprit. His first suspect is Okidogi, but he notices that it and its companions are cleaning up the place. A full-on-brawl must have broken out here.

Anyhow, if that thing was responsible it wouldn't be cleaning up. Plus, Ken vaguely remembers it giving him food. So it's probably innocent.

His eyes then fall on Ninten's group, specifically Teddy. That guy looks like a real troublemaker, kind of a gangster. It was probably him. Oh, how he would like to give that buff dude a piece of his mind.

...

Hm. For some reason, looking at Ninten's friends makes him feel a little sad.

He shakes his head, then winces again at the fact that this only made his eye hurt worse. He's in no state or mood for a confrontation. But next time...

He starts to wander off, but then notices a now-abandoned stall with some trinkets. He huffs and takes the nicest-looking one, then starts to walk away. This stupid place ruined his day, they owe him something nice.

...

...

...

He stops, turns back around and puts some money on the counter. He doesn't know if it's the correct amount and frankly, he doesn't care. But he'd still feel bad just taking this thing without paying at least a little bit in return. It's not like that store situation.

"Hey, are you okay? Do you need me to heal you?", Ninten asks as he approaches him, having noticed his black eye. Ken turns to him, then just continues walking as he puts the trinket in his backpack.

"I'll be fine, leave me alone.", he says. Ninten stops, watches him leave and shrugs.

"... must've had a rough day.", Ninten figures. He walks back towards his friends, but also glances at Ken for a moment longer.

"... He's got a sweet jacket. If I meet him again I'll ask him where he got it."

"...Yeah." Ogerpon sighs. "A truce is fine."

NY!Anna grumbles and pulls down her sleeve. "I'll let you go for now, but if the festival doesn't get back any customers after this, it's on you."

Kirike picks up Malamar's Poké Ball off the ground and hands it to James. "Sorry about that. I didn't know..."

"...Fine."    Pecharunt simply replies, completely ignoring NY!Anna. Not like he's planning on lingering. Once the Loyal Three's hypnosis wears off, Pecharunt will appear before them.

"We're leaving."    he'll say, his tone making it clear it's an order. They might notice he sounds more tired than anything, and mentally rather than physically at that.

"So..." Tengu Anna says to her fellow Anna, looking around at the mess. "...Did I get drunk again? Looks like a hurricane went through here."

"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."
