Sarah looks pleased to have Angel's trust, nodding and smiling. If her ego had any bruises left, they're all soothed over by Angel having praise for her power and personality. Still, she shouldn't be idly content right now. Because she was in a phase where she'd need to be asking a lot of questions.
Sarah smiles to acknowledge the compliment and then mulls a bit about what she wants to say. Alright, so...
Well, I'll have to see how he did it for myself!... Tilra told me of someone named "E" who should be beyond my power. Is there anyone else I should be wary of if I meet 'em? I know they're generally all pretty dangerous but I need to know who I could beat if I'm really careful and who I should just run away from. Or call back-up on. How numerous are they, even? Seems like they've been around for a while.
She definitely had to at least warn Thor, the big one, that he could be ready in case she needed his help. And the smaller Thor, in case she needed his help for someone not as powerful as E.
It isn't my first rodeo preparing to take on someone stronger than I am. And while fists are nice, I wouldn't mind knowing if there are some tools I could use to make my job easier, Sarah seemed to expect a lack of concrete answer. If there was an easy answer to weakening Moebius, surely Tilra and the others would've exploited it, right? But she figured asking for a weakness was still a smart thing.
I might also need a sparring partner. I can find some no problems but you both are stronger than I am. Would you mind helping me train with you?
There's more I have to ask but here are some immediate ones.

"Hm, well I'm Wriggle Nightbug. A firefly youkai." Wriggle said, properly introducing herself now. "I haven't heard of Seraphon before. What research is this anyway?"
She doesn't comment on whatever a Manatouched is. Probably just a fancy word for magician.
Luined Siege Camp
Sebastien does grimace a little, not having expected it to work that well. He hops onto Mona who growls as the massive army approaches, though he quickly calms her down since they're seemingly on their side. He gives Khars'Li a sympathetic look but as Whas'Intun pointed out there's more timely concerns right now. He falls in with the rest making their way to the encampment.
As the army marched though, the ground where the Deviljho was abruptly buried begins to rumble before something drags it down, those present only getting a glimpse of a serpentine limb rising up to grab it then dragging it down into the earth, the ground collapsing over it to cover the hole up. Like a more nightmarish Cephadrome.
Deep under the earth, the Elder Dragon from earlier stared at the headless Jho. There were far more worms on the surface than it had initially sensed through its pawn, complicating matters somewhat. For now though, it was more focused on retrieving its errant pawn.
Its jaws opened, an eerie purple glow emanating from both its proper mouth and the end of its serpentine tail. With one it prepared to consume this fallen monster but the other, it spat out several Dark Matter who flew to link up with the one the poacher had used on the Jho. It was most curious about what it had seen in its time away from the dragon's control.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."RATS
Azura keeps flying. She doesn't lose her focus on rat killing no matter what: she intended to carry out her duty and kill them all in Gor's name and for the innocents below. Thus, she decides to pull off a risky manoeuver.
Using her magic, Azura splits herself into more Azuras, albeit a bit smaller than each other. They directly reach into their pauldrons-cauldrons, drawing out purple flames which they extend forward with their hands to form a sharp line in front of them; It looks like a long spiky saw, meant to fit into the width of the emergency tunnels.
With guarantee that there'd be nothing but rats between her and the survivors, the Azuras dive into the tunnel, looking to fly through the swarms of rats by accelerating through them and letting her sharp weapon cut them in half.
SPLIT MAGIC + SHAPE MAGIC: ARMAMENT
...
CAULDRON
Megumi look at the chaotic situation all around them. Endless orks and poachers fighting 'em, with a half-blind Gor-Rok in the middle. Though some of their companions had sadly fallen, the current unveiling was still to their advantage: an Enemy Civil War could only benefit them. And it'd make them drastically weaker. It does make him wonder how functional the Poachers were as a whole, but he's happy the split is ocurring now rather than later, after they'd be given time to rampage.
Megumi is initially silent as the team gathers. In an enclosed area like this, with only enemies to care about... Hmm, no. They'd sink, and he wasn't strong enough to handle that much mass. With his enemies about to wipe themselves out, Megumi didn't need to go out of his way to take them down. He simply needed to keep Gor-Rok in check. Which he could do if he played his cards right. He could even neutralize him entirely, even if keeping him away from the others was victory enough.
As strong as he was, Gor-Rok bore great wounds. And Megumi had an idea on how he could restrain him.
You're gonna help me? I'll need to get close to him to keep him off our backs. Megumi says. I have a Shikigami. Max Elephant. It weighs as much as a real one and I can summon it in mid-air. He glances at Gor-Rok. I reckon he could handle that weight healthy and prepared, so I'm going to drop it on his back while he's distracted. I can make my own distraction but I'll need my full focus on that.
Megumi could also see Gascoigne or Seliph not being there. Seeing Seliph in that chaotic clusterfuck was beyond him at the moment though, so he can't quite form a rescue mission; He does, however, intend to go in regardless. In such a big battle, having time to strategize was a blessing best enjoyed quickly.
Don't worry. I can make my way there easily. Just follow my lead if you want to come along. I can transport us by shadows but if you've got your own method, tell me now.
If Reiko does, Megumi grabs him by the back of the collar and leap into a shadow. Then another, then another, quickly diving from one to another, skipping needless fights (short as they might be) to try to quickly reach Gor-Rok's location. He doesn't start the attack now though, since he has to focus on not getting stomped/slashed while diving his way through the enemy.
He can't even glance at the reinforcements, although it gives him even more reasons not to go all-out with a Domain Expansion.

Though things are serious, Angel can't help but smile at Sarah's enthusiasm.
"Good to hear. Though, what's this I hear about fighting a Moebius? Tilra?"
She doesn't sound upset, she's just curious. So, Tilra responds matching that energy.
.E. ".The world's first real human." .That's what she called herself.
Angel pauses, giving Tilra's information a once-over.
"What did she look like?"
.She had white hair. .Bright blue eyes. ?A weird hat with a clover on it? .I'll send you the data later.
"Thank you, that's probably for the best."
Angel gives a short, affirmative nod, looking back at Sarah.
"Moebius has only one real weakness. The will to keep on going. The resolve to change fate. Hope for the future, knowledge of the past, acceptance of the present; Moebius draws power from despair, and is opposed by its antithesis. That's not to say that just having hope is enough to fight them back, though."
She sighs.
"We'd need a power like mine to carry that hope. Something innately capable of opposing them. Even a tremendous cosmic force wouldn't be enough, it would have to be specific."
Angel puts her hands on her hips, and stands proud.
"But! You don't need to worry about that. I am already creating that power, even as we speak. All I need is more data, and then..."
She shrugs.
"Something will happen. It's a science, until it isn't. Before then, all we can really do is punch them harder. Speaking of which..."
Angel closes her eyes for a pause.
"I can train you to fight them. But I can't be your sparring partner. Actually, I can't stay here for much longer, either. The good news is, I know someone who can help us with that."
Reaching into her bag, Angel rummages through until she finds a little blue gemstone with two harshly pointed ends. Compared to most magic stones, it looks positively inert, with no shine and almost no transparency.
She hands it to Sarah.
"Use this somewhere you're sure there's nobody around to get hurt. It will call your sparring partner. Bring whoever you'd like."
Angel snaps her fingers.
"I'm sorry to go, but I can't stay. If you have anything else for me, please be quick."
Yatta!Gerudo Town
Johnny Silverhand + Ascended Idunn
Ascended Idunn spots Fallen Edelgard. "There. The only one not in combat."
F!Edelgard, currently surveying the area, notices A!Idunn looking at her and makes eye contact. Ascended Idunn promptly assumes her towering dragon form, while Fallen Edelgard transforms as well, into a demented tree monster.
◊ Between these two and Fallen Rhea, three giants are now rampaging in town.
"Come at me."

Don Quixote
Fallen Gustav's brow furrows as Don shatters into glass, his horse rearing up in surprise and before backing away. His eyes track this new version's movements as best they can, though he's starting to lose her.

LISA!Anna
Fallen Delthea is a child, so she has little in the way of defense against just getting absolutely manhandled by a practiced brawler. Still, from down on the ground, she tries to blow LISA!Anna away with another Death blast so she can get up.
—
Beruka + Nicole + Severus + Tharja
Unprepared for sudden interference, Fallen Lilith goes crashing into the ground, leaving a crater. "Fath...er..."
She's not down yet. As Beruka approaches to finish the job, Fallen Lilith reaches up and fires a blighted water jet in her face, though she flops down on her back afterwards.
Fallen Anankos makes another barrier to defend himself, but Severus' lightning courses through it, dropping him to one knee. It only seems to make him angrier, though, as he glows like the sun and channels Noontime before slamming a hand into the ground, making a plume of water erupt all around him, consume Tharja's Ruin, and cascade down upon the two mages. Thanks to Noontime, he will heal himself for a portion of the damage dealt!

F!F!Corrin screams as she is pressured by a continuous ray of frost, freezing her feet to the ground and the flaps of her wings. She twists her neck and unleashes a raging torrent of Savage Breath back at the amulet, made more powerful by Dragon Fang.
Bertram hisses and turns his horse toward Engage!Anna, only to be crushed before he even knows what's happening. As the effects of Dragon Vein fade away, he is gone, but unlike most foes, he has left behind his Instant Sword+ for the taking.

"I despise technology."
He casts his Blood Tome one last time to throw a final punch at Protos!Anna's tank, but regardless of how that goes, he is engulfed in explosions at the same time, leaving behind a ravaged body. In a markedly different voice, he wheezes out, "I wanted to be you, Ephraim..." before fading away.

3H!Anna + Heroes!Anna
Fallen Rhea jumps off the wall, alright. She lands on the ground on all fours with enough force to instantly smash a huge crater into it, sending a shockwave out at the Annas.

Clarisse + Leah
Berkut falls for the ploy and rushes in, entering the Meteor trap's detection radius. Immediately, micro-meteors start flying at him from it one after another. He grunts and holds up his lance defensively, while Leah slips behind him and blasts him in the back with Fimbulvetr, hammering at him with ice shards and pushing him closer to the trap!

Se'arah's heart pumps in perfect, steady rhythm. Her body seems to glow white as she flips back onto her feet and switches to her Firesweep Sword.
"Heh, thanks."
She rushes at Fallen Linus, who puts up his axe to protect himself, but in a single mighty 5H slash, his guard is thrown open. Then she drops low and leg-sweeps his feet out from under him with 2M, followed by a backwards swing overhead with 2H to launch him into the air. She juggles him and gets airborne with a 2S uppercut slash, using a j.L elbow bash into a j.M heel kick before smashing him back into the ground with a j.H overhead sword swing. Suffice to say, he is defeated.
"Lloyd..." His final word is to groan his brother's name.
Se'arah lands on her feet and immediately turns to Fallen Julia and Fallen Ninian. "Who's next?" she grins.

Barely.
The Silent Emperor growls like an animal as blood oozes around his neck, then turns around and strikes back at the Death Knight with a lance stab. If his defenses are merely "enough", though, his offenses are staggering, just barely weaker than those of the Death Knight himself.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Kakariko Village. The Two Princes. Solopost
In the Kakariko village inn, Prince Marth the Fifth of Ylisse and another blue haired man sit by a table, as Melka snores away in a bed.
Mar starts the conversation. "So... I'm guessing you're just staying here for a bit too? This isn't your home or anything, right?"
The Stranger gives a nod. "That's right. Sorry about shooting at you."
Mar replies. "You're only defending your men. I'd likely do something similar myself, but not with a bow. And maybe from a slightly better position. Either way, I don't blame you for doing what you did."
He swaps out the bandage on his cheek as he says this. "As I said, I should have been able to tell you were here first. So, I'm sorry."
Mar then realizes something. "If this keeps going on, we'll just be saying sorry to eachother for an entire day. Let's just stick at saying we both made some mistakes, and move on."
The Archer Nods, before asking "By the way, your uh, friend? Retainer? Said you were the prince of "Ylise", yes?"
Mar states "Correct... ish. A prince, Not THE prince. Second in line. My older brother holds the crown, now. And i've got younger siblings too."
The Archer blinks a bit, as if slightly suprised. [[evil:"I'm A second prince too. Of the nation of Brodia. Prince Alcryst of brodia... or more accurately, The brodian prince who isn't Diamant."
Mar sees an opportunity to better introduce himself. "Well, I'm Prince Marth the Fifth of Ylisse. Or, the Ylissean prince who isn't Vincent, going by how things are with you. Or, Just Mar. We can be casual here."
Alcryst is once again suprised. "You're related to Marth?"

THE BACKYARD
Mahito laughs as Asuka escapes his grasp. He was at least glad to see that his Domain worked well: if he could catch him within it a second time, while blocking him from escaping... Well, given that he appeared to be teleporting, that part looked like it'd be a little bit hard. But Mahito trusted himself to find a way around it. Maybe he open up his domain even faster?
He could still feel the black sparks dancing at the edge of his vision, after all.
It's a pretty useful ability, wouldn't you say? Heh, how about I just keep your mouth -and only your mouth- so that I can hear it from you? Mahito says. Noticing that the staff had been building up power, Mahito decides to hang back. And since he'd already used a whip-like move earlier, he anticipates Asuka to be on the look-out.
An hydra would just be a waste of Cursed Energy by that point. Mahito spins in place and suddenly elongates his leg as he attempts to kick Asuka, clearly meaning to keep his distance in case something happens but keeping the offensive going. The blow might seem simple compared to his usual repertoire but if Asuka blocks or get hit, the feet will suddenly transform into an hand and attempt to grab Asuka to start applying Mahito's Idle Transfiguration;
With only one hand it's gonna be slow, so Asuka will have a shot at defending himself. But Mahito intends to take him by surprise there: if it hits, he throws his right arm forward, stretching it up to try to tag Asuka.

HUB CENTRALIS
Steppenwolf, or whatever is embodying him, simply look on at the massive attack coming to pulverize him. It doesn't know if the proud General would have felt fear, defiance, elation or any other emotion so it simply switch from one to the other, laughing, yelling, barking and other intense emotions. He tries to stop the attack but he can't, he literally can't: as such, he gets simply blasted to smithereens and consumed by the full-force of the blast.
There's a crater left behind in Hub Centralis, which is an average Sunday for the town, so it shouldnt be troublesome. But as Artemis recovers from her experience in the post, Loki glances about and slides down to the end of the crater, acting diligently in the middle of all the smoke.
Smoke rises from small plumes of lava left behind in the clash but Loki doesn't care none and head directly for the very bottom of the crater, where, sitting in the middle of a lava pool, is a small purple orb. He's quick to pluck it from its base and, deciding to safekeep it somewhere, put it in his mouth before coming back up again.
What a shitshow... Is the girl alright?
The confused civilians near the Church are simply baffled by what they saw. There's a silence in the air, as the Pillars gather themselves.

Yuji's scrapiness and willpower is no match for weaponized time travel and he wind up in something of a bad spot, being the latest target for Byleth. Itadori's eyes widen in shock, as he is unable to comprehend the daunting challenge ahead of him. Not being able to see past timelines, he can only deduce that she's very good, with sharp reflexes and an even sharper sword to test on him.
If he could understand that her power can manipulate time, perhaps he'd very carefully consider his course of action.
But instead, Yuji attempts to reach for Byleth's legs with his mutilated hands, attempting to wrap what few fingers he can still somewhat bend around her shoes. Not to desperately fulfill some creepy fetish but to try to at least push her over, since Yuji basically attempts to punch with his fists if he can't grab.
If she is knocked over, Yuji then decides to fuck up his legs as well (maybe) by raising his head and headbutting the floor with the back of his skull, almost propelling his body upwards as he sticks his legs up to the sky... and attempt to bring them down on Byleth's stomach and chest, trying to pin her down with enough strength that it might as well be a direct hit, since the ground predictably shatters.
Yuji then digs his elbows into the ground and try to keep his weight on Byleth. C'MON DO IT! He yells to his ally in the fight. He should get her name, she seemed nice.
...
Beruka is a bit too slow to raise her axe this time. She's basically outright sent flying as the water spout impacts her left arm, breaking the armor on it as well as about every bone within it, causing it to go limp instantly. Not one to give up, Beruka simply grits her teeth and weaponize her momentum, spinning backwards once and tossing her Vallite Axe at Lilith to try to finish the job.
Despite the circumstances and her way of timing it, she has good accuracy for her condition. And indeed, should it succeed, Beruka simply... get up after having been sent sprawling, glancing at her limp arm. She spares a wince as she moves over to pick up her fallen axe.
Thank you Nicole. And goodbye Lilith. She says, in acknowledgment for the earlier save and putting Lilith on the backfoot. She doesn't look at her though, and then promptly glance away to focus on Anankos.
Beruka glances at her wounded arm but glances at her unwounded arm and conclude that she's in shape to fight a dragon god, as she start running over to Anankos.
...
Alright then. Should I wait for it to be over before engaging them? Well, I doubt I'm just gonna find them so easily but with my senses...
She look sheepish at technically telling on Tilra but she feels that Tilra would have said so. Either way, it didn't seem like Angel was offended by it, so Sarah just move on to the topic of the new gift given to her.
The redhead listens to Angel and nods. She had ideas on who to spare with but it seemed like this would be a step above. Although...
Sarah blush slightly. Necrosword or not, magic was still mysterious to her. And she felt dumb asking the question in spite of it. Huh... Do I press on something or does it know?

"Yeah, no problem," is all Nicole says out loud, though.
Seeing as Lilith was more-or-less down for the count, she momentarily scans Gerudo Town, wondering if she should either finally go after Julius or throw down with the likes of Edelgard and her two giant allies. That is, until she remembers that not only are Severus and Tharja going up against the immensely powerful Anankos, Beruka was intent on rejoining that particular fray despite her busted arm.
"Sorry, 'Ruka. Looks like you might have to put up with me a little longer."
Taking a running leap towards Anankos, she attempts to superman punch him squarely in the face with an Arcane Magic-coated fist.
-
Thinking quickly, Severus manages to create a sizable barrier of ice with which to shield both himself and Tharja from the oncoming rush of water. While it manages to hold out against the assault, the sheer power behind Anankos' torrent does cause him to visibly strain as the torrent drives him back.
"Obviously, this is no mere mage we're dealing with," he mutters under his breath. "If you have any new hexes you've been perfecting, Tharja, I'd appreciate getting to see them in action."
Not intent on remaining on the backfoot, he launches a few ice spikes over his frigid wall towards Anankos.

Gerudo Town
"Ah!", Natasha yelps when her Rapier goes flying. What just happened? She could've sworn her hit would land.
The combo lands, but thankfully it's interrupted, otherwise Natasha would have been in serious trouble. She's still knocked off of her horse though, and can only try to help Yuji by throwing a dagger she had on her person, aiming to hit Fallen Byleth in her wrist before she can impale him.
Regardless of whether this succeeds or not though, if Yuji's own attempt to turn the table on Fallen Byleth succeeds, she'll grab a different blade on her person, one that might be native to her country only since it doesn't look like any established sword the others would know of, and charges at Fallen Byleth, aiming to deliver a (to her hope) killing blow by aiming for the chest.
If Yuji fails to pin Fallen Byleth, however, she'll still go for this charge, but will instead aim for Fallen Byleth's shoulder, trying to make her sword-swinging arm as good as useless.

Since Anna's skillset has little to no room for more though, she can only choose 1 skill here unless she's willing to give up one of her other skills. Which she wouldn't consider a good idea. As such she chooses to go for Galeforce. It could prove handy in a pinch.
Once Jake has picked up the spheres, Anna rushes towards the exit. There's not a moment to waste, they have to hurry.
"Are you going back out or staying here? Either is fine.", Jake asks his future sister-in-law as he starts heading for the exit too. The spheres begin to vanish from his hands as they are automatically absorbed by Anna. ... convenient.
Though naturally Anna is much faster than him, and she (still in disguise) now finally arrives on the battlefield with the Arcane Devourer in hand. Jake arrives not long after and sees the battle against Fallen Byleth.
"I'll go help there.", he says. Anna nods and the two split paths, Jake heading towards the Fallen Byleth battle and Anna trying her best to find and reach Julius.
—
So as it turns out she didn't jump towards either of them, but rather in between their locations. Pretty much the only spot they didn't account for.
Heroes!Anna and 3H!Anna get hit by the shockwave hard enough to hit the ground. Heroes!Anna is a tough one defensively though (at least compared to most of her more agile sisters), so she doesn't need long to get back up.
3H!Anna, however, is too dazed to immediately get up, which may make her the more preferable target for Fallen Rhea's next attack.
Heroes!Anna actually counts on this, as she charges towards Fallen Rhea with the hope that the latter is distracted. If so, Heroes!Anna will go for a jump and attempt to cleave her axe into Fallen Rhea's neck.
—
Clarisse now tries to go for an actual headshot while Fallen Berkut is hopefully occupied with the chaos of Leah's attacks and the Meteor trap.
—
Morgan holds out his Bolt Axe and his wyvern flies downwards, the axe attacks clashing. However, F!F!Morgan's ascent had a bit more time to build up, giving her attack a stronger impact and stunning Morgan's wyvern, making him unable to immediately counterattack.
However, he does have a moment to notice the battlefield.
"The Death Knight!? ... and over there... Julius!?"
He glances back at his counterpart.
"That other me is busy. If I can get some distance between me and her I can try to reach Julius."
Perhaps the Death Knight could be helpful if swayed towards targeting F!F!Morgan. But approaching him in this chaotic battlefield would prove difficult.
—
Sally doesn't expect F!M!Morgan to do something that risky and as such isn't prepared to stop the attack. She gets blasted back but shows off her skill and acrobatics by doing a backwards flip to land on her feet. Like mother, like daughter.
"Guess your ally considers you disposable. She didn't even give my threat on your life the time of day.", she says before leaping back towards F!M!Morgan to try to knock his tome out of his hands with a swift strike, trading strength for speed.
—
"A marvelous display of battle prowess.", Oliver chuckles as he puts Matrona away again, now switching for a Nosfetaru Tome. Tellius Nosferatu are Light tomes instead of Dark tomes, meaning that Oliver can wield them.
And he shows that off now, attacking Fallen Julia with Nosferatu. A move that would normally be very unwise given that Julia is a powerful magic wielder and thus has a lot of Resistance. However, the unfortunately-named Corona skill activates, the personal skill of the Saint class. This skill negates the target's Resistance and halves enemy's hit rate for one turn.
So if this Nosferatu hits, Fallen Julia may be in trouble.
—
While the barrier definitely keeps Tharja safe from lethal harm, due to her positioning she still ends up struck by one plume of water and gets knocked back, somewhat hurt but not to any worrying extent. Now drenched as well, the way her hair hangs over her face makes her look like she climbed out of a well and is about to climb through your TV to kill you.
And needless to say, she's not happy about this.
She simply goes for another Ruin attack, and thanks to its high crit rate she triggers another crit. However, her Vengeance skill also activates, adding half of the damage Fallen Anankos did to her to her attack before the 3X boost from the crit applies.
So needless to say... this Ruin, if it lands, it going to hurt!
"There'll be no need for hexes and curses. We'll simply obliterate him.", she says as if it's a fact that they'll win.
"But should these attacks not be enough, I do have something fun in mind."
—
Lucina's sheer speed shocks Ishtar. Adept procs, allowing Ishtar to react at near superhuman speed herself to launch a counteroffensive, but even with the power of Adept there's no feasible way to launch a fully charged Mjölnir before Lucina reaches her. And anything less than that would be unlikely to halt Lucina in this state.
So instead Ishtar thinks quickly and blasts the ground in front of her to send herself flying back, evading what could have potentially been a lethal impaling strike from Falchion. She hits the ground, but that's much preferable to the alternative.
"I didn't imagine you'd be this fast.", Ishtar says as she gets up, looking genuinely nervous. Surely Julius will be able to take out someone here. If Lucina takes Ishtar out this easily, Ishtar's plan to stop the Child Hunts would go up in smoke.
A part of her also can't help but wonder how Julius would react if she herself were to fall. If Julius would react. Given the things that had been told to her by her ascended counterpart, she can't be sure how much she really means to Julius. Would he abandon her if she was defeated.
... no, this is not the time to focus on such matters. A moment's weakness against this enemy could spell her downfall.
Ishtar charges up Mjölnir once again. However, this time she doesn't launch it directly at Lucina, instead launching the large black sphere of presumably plasma above herself.
The giant bolts that shoot out from the attack blast their way into the ground around Ishtar, creating holes and kicking up debris. Ishtar's idea should be clear to Lucina now: altering the battlefield to hinder Lucina's movements. After all, Lucina can't attack from a distance with Falchion, while Ishtar can with Mjölnir.
Though the mere fact that Ishtar used a Holy Crusader weapon in a genuinely strategic move instead of just using it to nuke its way through the fight should also tell Lucina that she stands a very good chance against Ishtar.
And if she has a realistic chance of taking out Ishtar, Julius' second-in-command, then perhaps an eventual offensive strike on Julius' forces may be a more feasible plan than it seems.
—
Julius makes no attempt to dodge Ascended Ishtar's attack. Right before impact, the Loptyr tome in his hands emanates a dark, smoke-like aura. This same aura surrounds Julius as the boosted lightning strikes him, sending powerful and painful electricity through him.
...
But he continues to stand there as if it didn't do much to him at all, despite the fact that Ascended Ishtar is, without argument, very powerful. Her skills basically neutered his resistance. Not to mention that Julius is an Einherjar, he's not the real Julius. That lightning attack should have inflicted enough damage to seriously wound him, perhaps for half his health or so. But it clearly didn't, because he's just standing there, chuckling darkly.
"Ishtar, Ishtar, Ishtar. You sweet, naive girl." , he starts to say with a dangerous tone, and an even more dangerous grin.
"Even as my enemy you're still the only one I can bear to stand."
His grin grows to a disturbingly inhuman length. His pupils seem to become more slitted.
"But that won't save you from damnation."
The darkness returns once again as Julius, once more, casts the magic of Loptyr. Regardless of how Ascended Ishtar will attempt to deal with this attack, there's one major difference between this attack and the one from before.
The draconic mirage cast by the spell seems to be more solid, more present somehow.
—
The Death Knight gets struck by Vigarde's counterattack, getting stabbed in the chest hard enough to get partly through his armor, and judging by his pained growl, he felt that.
"It's not enough... I still draw breath..."
Without even bothering to try to get the lance out of his armor and chest he raises his Scythe of Sariel.
"You're not the one..."
And goes for what he plans to be the killing blow, aiming once again to behead Vigarde. With the latter's lance stuck in his armor, it'll make it way harder for him to dodge this. Depending on how he reacts, this may be the end.

He sets his staff to hover in the air, activating Gravity Rod (Shooting). He then promptly jumps over Mahito's kick...
And unleashes his assault.
First, a Delayed Howling Metron,
◊ a projectile that starts slow and can multi-hit. It flies toward Mahito, then gets sucked back to the Gravity Rod and begins orbiting around it.
Next, Howling Metron MS Processing,
◊ three projectiles fired at different angles. They all get pulled in, too, albeit orbiting at different distances.
Third, Bit Shift Metron,
◊ a barrage of five projectiles.
And finally, he pulls a second staff out of the Tome of Origin, along with a pair of large mechanical serpents with hands for heads. They wind together to form a single massive maw that spits out his ultimate attack, HIGH COMPRESSION SUBMICRON PARTICLE SPHERE
◊... which is actually a cube, and also gets caught in the Gravity Rod.
Just in case Mahito is smart enough to keep his distance, Asuka then uses Teleport to Marker to warp behind him, then tries to grab him with the Tome of Origin, pull back energy from the tome into the shape of a bow, and release a lance of light, to launch the Cursed Spirit into the swirling cubes to get hammered by them.

A space-time portal opens once again. This time it's not just a person that falls through though. Instead, a whole trailer
falls through onto the grass below.
The one inside the trailer, someone cast in smoke and shadow entirely for dramatic effect, is not too happy about this.
"Hey now, what's with the detour? I didn't tell those suckers to drive me straight into a portal! Lousy bunnies, the lot of them. And now they're nowhere to be seen. Ah whatever, I don't need 'em anyway."
The one in the trailer gets up and walks over to a large monitor and a desk with various buttons on it, which he begins to press wildly.
"Anyhow, wherever I ended up I think it's time for this place to meet the king! Let's let this bad boy roll, baybeh!"
A pair of long train-track-like threads are shot out of the trailer's wheels, laying themselves in front to form an actual track for the trailer to traverse over. The trailer then begins to move over them on its own.

This time, it brings in something truly harrowing... in a certain way at least.
A rather skeletal-looking

Eventually, however, it begins to move in a seemingly random direction.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Hub Centralis - Church
Artemis finally sits up after recovering from her own attack. She shakes her head before opening her eyes again.
"Ugh... I... did it."
She hops to her feet and lets out a long, tired sigh. She stretches her wings again as they slowly fade back to white. She teleports to in front of the church and dusts herself off, still wearing that flowing robe of shadows. She lets out a long sigh as she looks back at the giant crater she made.
"There goes my cover as some weak person. Oh well."
She looks around before simply sitting down on a step and letting out a long, tension-draining 'uuuuuuuugh' sound. She's (mentally, at least) somewhat exhausted. But after her display of power... there's no need for her to use her limiters. She knows there'll probably be questions, but she's fine with that at least. She thinks back on the ability Mahito (and by extension, Curse!Artemis) used. To heal or to hurt. It depends on how it was used.
"...Idle Transfiguration. What a fitting name for an ability like that. The rest... I'll look at later."
She looks down at her hands. That... slip earlier. Maybe she really is still a monster. Her own smile horrified her at times. She works up enough energy to stand herself back up and walk over to the church doors. She doesn't knock, she just speaks somewhat loudly.
"Fighting's over. I'm also tired. Can I come in?"
Her tone is flat. She'll probably be fine in a few minutes though. For now, she has a blank stare as she recovers from her magical exhaustion. Her wings are drooped by her side.
Avi
Avi was flying towards Artemis... when he got teleported somewhere.
"Huh?"
Onyxis. He goes crashing into some snow and has a confused expression on his face before sitting up. He shivers a bit before sighing.
"Where the hell are we now?"
It would appear we've ended up in some sort of icy wasteland. Thankfully it is not something like the Frenzied Flame.
Ranni's spectral face appears to the right of Avi's again as he pushes himself up. He glances around before seeing a weird skeletal figure in the distance.
"...the fuck is that?"
Ranni just keeps silent, her spectral image just staring at the skeletal bunny... thing?

aeiou: the secondOnyxis
Through the frigid wastelands of this frozen land wanders a deposed despot, the usurped sovereign Victor Von Doom.
Rather than his usual armor platings, furs adorn his form. The stitched and worn winter clothes are a far cry from the extravagant outfits and ludicrous suits the once-ruler had last worn nearly a year ago. In spite of the freezing chill of the continent, his hands remain by his side, his eyes narrowed and focused as he wanders the world of hoarfrost. Scars line the surface of his face beneath the green hood, as does a great beard tinged with gray and long, black hair more befitting of a northern warrior than regality. In his hands, used as a walking stick, was a spear forged from Vibranium, hanging from his belt a sword of similar make and a metal mask.
These were the last things he had managed to take from his throne room before his last stand, a battle that should have ended in death before his own throne, before the eyes of his own people.
But he had failed at even that.
The disgraced Doom’s teeth ground together as he crested the hills and mountains of Onyxis, until at last the man came upon a most curious scene. A skeletal creature, a man, and his ghostly companion. Victor said nothing, did nothing, merely stood as a silhouette against the sun atop the stretched shoulder of a hill.

With great power…you know the rest.Avi and the more distant Dr. Doom fall within ruinborn afton's line of sight immediately, and once they do he changes directions and starts running towards them.
Only to stop close to Avi (since he was closer to him than Doom), now standing completely still, save once again for the creepy, almost zombie-like twitching of his body.
There's an awkward yet somewhat tense silence before the creature suddenly speaks up.
"i'm ruinborn afton and i always come back."
He sounds... not at all like what someone would expect him to sound like. One would think he sounds like a monster, something undead, but instead he sounds like the chillest regular-sounding person Avi or Doom will have ever met.

"If Moebius appears, then they must be repelled, wherever they are. The world can't afford for us to wait."
It's an unfortunate reality that Angel cannot avoid. She needs data and time to create a Moebius countermeasure, and even then, the way it will appear is something out of her control.
For once, there isn't much Angel can do. That upsets her, no matter how positive a spin she puts on it. Even Tilra can see it.
Still.
"I'd like to say that neither of you have to fight this... but I'd be lying. Moebius isn't something that can be left for someone else to take care of. If I fail... it could be to the doom of all."
It is a monstrous responsibility, Angel's power. One that can barely be discussed. No matter her intentions, Angel feels for having failed to shoulder it.
Whatever that means, to her.
Still...
"You hold it up. It is a Terminus Stone: a kind of artifact used to call the attention of powerful cosmic beings. Lift it towards the heavens and let it speed your prayers along."
Angel turns away.
"I'm going now."
She looks to Tilra.
"I Love you."
Tilra lifts her hand, giving Angel a slight wave goodbye.
.So do I.
She nods, and Angel nods back. Then, she snaps her fingers, and is gone.
Tilra looks down.
...I thought we'd get to talk more...
Yatta!Onyxis
Amidst the frozen land and dangerously close to the other assclowns here, a fireball crash lands and dissipates to show a blond witch girl slowly skidding to a stop. Yuki!
◊
"Hey Maiiiii! Are you here?!" she shouts rather loudly, cupping her hands around her mouth. After not getting a response she huffs. "Damn, I'd thought she'd love being in a miserable frozen wasteland like this."
She fails her spot check to see the others at the moment.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Onyxis
"Ooooohkay..."
Avi sighs and doesn't move. Yet. He's still confused. Ranni's spectral face also looks confused, though not as much as Avi.
It appears to be some sort of puppet. Though that one is probably obvious.
Note: Anything in italics is only heard to Avi, as Ranni directly talks to him.
"Yeah I figured that one out thanks."
He says it all in one breath before hopping backwards from the now-somewhat-uncomfortably-close ruinborn afton.
He then notices the large fireball.
"...huh."
Now he's even more confused. He hesitates for a second, not drawing any sort of weapon. Ranni then speaks up by way of using Avi's body.
"If you'll excuse us, we would rather not fight."
Avi sighs silently.
That's not gonna work you realize that right?
Worth a shot, is it not?
aeiou: the secondSukuna vs William
Ongyo-Ki eats shit as a result of William's manoeuver and get scattered into ashes. While resistant to physical attacks, it doesn't matter if it has so little defense that one blow, weakened as it might be, end up slipping through. It's destroyed, and Sukuna's head recoils back like he's just gotten punched, with a shockwave even coming off it.
But the damage spreads to his body as well, even if the layers of cloth he has on somewhat mask it.
They're a bit weak, you'll notice.
Chi You. Sukuna simply once again summon another Persona. In truth, he was glad to have deduced that he can use his Cursed Technique through his Personas. Just as he was glad to have discovered how frail they were. He'd need to be a bit cautious though, because his soul would eventually get just as frail if he allowed William more attacks. He'd clearly underestimated the boy.
As Chi You appears, Sukuna dispels the bull-general and charges William himself, attempting to hit him with a jab to the right eye before attempting to bash him in the ears with two blows on each side with his fists. He then attempts to grab his head, should he succeed, and rear his head back to try to slam his forehead into William's, meaning to batter him a bit.
My physical power has been enhanced quite considerably! Sukuna notes, sounding elated as he attempts to approach William without attacking again. Blood streams from his nose and mouth but not his forehead, which look intact in spite of the sheer shock done to it. He spreads his arms again, almost begging William to attack him.
...
Sarah listens to Angel. She decides that she'll probably bring someone along with the stone given Angel's instructions: perhaps she'd get hardcore training from whatever she'd summon, which could be too much for her alone to take.
Since she was unlikely to be taking down all of Moebius's members on her own, it was a good idea to train alongside someone else against an overwhelming foe. It'd be just as valuable as training solo, really. All that she regrets is Angel's unexpected... solemn attitude, which worries her a bit given her friend's sheer power and wisdom. But then again, that was all the more reasons to take up her arms and fight.
At least they had Angel's project to look forward to.
As she leaves, and as Tilra sadly bemoans Angel's quick departure, Sarah feels a brief pang of guilt and decide to lay her hand on Tilra's shoulder, not hesitating to levitate slightly to make up for the difference in height. Sorry about that. I kind of monopilized her attention, I think.
Sarah doesn't really know how to suggest to "make up" for it but she decides to try to anyway. I'm sure she'll contact you again. Moms sometimes have to step aside for a moment or two to complete some work but... then we go back as fast as possible to our kids when we're done. She would have said "parents" in general but, semantics.
... You want to hang out? I can take some time before I start punching random strangers and friends to prepare for Moebius, Sarah shrugs, smiling agreeably at Tilra. It's fine if you don't wanna but I know a few fun places maybe.
...
Onyxis
Amidst the frozen land and not so dangerously close to the other assclowns here, a tall guy with white hair and a black eyefold simply appears, not skidding to a stop since he was teleporting in. GOJO!
Surprise! I've come to rescue my goblin Yuj-huh. Gojo lowers the eyefold he was about to dramatically take off, "staring" at the wasteland around him. Huh! I blame global cooling. Or my teleportation is getting messed with in here.
Unlike Yuki, Gojo pass his skillchecks and turn to see other goobers around the area. Notably, the snow that lands around him appear to "stop" in mid-air without touching him. It simply lose all momentum and form a dome around him, although he doesn't care to stop it.
... Wow! You look like weirdos! He laughs. I don't have my wallet on me just so y'know.

Doom only watched the events unfold as two more appeared.
The…Arena. Where tomfoolery and nonsense reigned supreme. Where loudmouthed vermin were regretfully allowed to exist. They spoke like the mindless fools they are, quipping incessantly and never once considering the effectiveness of silence. It infuriated him to no end. The depot continued to watch, though his eyes were drawn particularly to the witch girl. The attention she seemed to draw to herself, the harsh and shrill shrieks that howled from her lips like an ape…fierce, emerald circlets glared at the woman from above.
With great power…you know the rest.ruinborn afton just silently turns his head to look at Yuki.
He suddenly, without warning, walks over to Yuki, attempting to grab her and, if successful, yeet her straight at Gojo with enough force to break through his snow dome.

Oh, people.
"Oh hey, didn't expect to see anyone here. I was looking for my friend-" Yuki begins only to yelp as she gets yeeted. Gojo's ability of course doesn't let her hit him and she abruptly stops before landing facedown on the snow.
She bursts into flame as she gets back up before it dies down again to 'just' fire trailing off her hat.
"Oi, what's the big idea asshole?" she says, glaring at the weird skeleton.
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Onyxis
Oh well that's just great but uh-
Avi quickly draws a staff-sized paintbrush from somewhere and quickly spins it around in front of him like a propeller. Black ink spins like a whirlwind towards ruinborn afton.
"Inkwell Whirlpool!"
At the same time, a blob of ink congeals into an imitation of Ranni's puppet, which she moves to inhabit.
"Ah, much better. Lets do this, shall we?"
Ranni, on the other hand, simply conjures spectral images of Avi to attack at the same time. Only about two, though. They both do the same attack before disappearing.
aeiou: the secondWeirdo was a little rude I guess. Gojo smiles, putting his hands in his pockets and leaning back and forth. Ruinborn Afton's way less weird a name after all. Mine's Satoru Gojo.
Gojo doesn't react as Yuki slams towards him, then get stopped by Infinity. He did notice those sigils though, as he notices Ruinborn Afton being under attack by Avi. He gives him a glance and notices Ranni, prompting him to raise an eyebrow.
That's a bit familiar. He folds his arms and sees Doom, who has by far stayed the most stoic out of the current gathering. Ruinborn had attacked him but Gojo rather blatantly didn't feel threatened enough to seek revenge. And Yuki wasn't hurt, so he likewise wasn't going to fight for her sake.
I guess you're the one with the circlets? Red doesn't seem to fit the witch lady. He points upwards. Silent but deadly, huh?

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterVerdant eyes followed Yuki as she was thrown by the strange creature, the man taking some small pleasure in the attack but finding himself inevitably disappointed when she escaped without harm.
Still though, a fight was sure to break out—if it hadn’t already. Doom had no intent of charging into a battle against a party of unknowns like a fool, but he also was not in the slightest interested in brokering some kind of peace. There was, however, a middle ground: These people, putrid Arenagoers, were sure to carry with them items and tools that may prove to be of use to the man. That Tristan Taylor boy, Doom recalled, had provided him a set of mystic playing cards (though he hadn’t yet discerned their meaning) after he had driven his fist throw his torso. So too had he rewired a drone claimed from a soldier after he’d opened a portal to hell inside of her skull…what did she say her name was? Sonya…something?
It mattered not the names of insignificant worms unfit to live. All that mattered was what their corpses had left for those who went on, and for that reason Doom began to circle the soon-to-be-battlefield like a vulture.
