"Great. Before I can start though, I need to gauge how far along you and her are already. To do that…" Luin seemed to think for a moment. "I got an idea—we'll get you a Kinship Stone, like mine. There's a big cache in my village, but there's also a trial to gauge if you're worthy of it. We kill two birds with one stone this way, since the trial'll show me what you've got covered and what needs to be worked on, and the kinship stone…well, you'd need that eventually anyways, since you’re keeping Mona around."

In his castle hall, Jack was having a discussion with one of his aides about a peculiar magical artifact.
"... And why should I care about this 'Herculean Orb' anyways? It's not even in this country!" Jack checked his watch.
The aide sheepishly replied. "Because, Your Lordship, it has the power to grant any wish, as many times as one wants."
Jack froze. "Go on."
The aide cleared his throat. "Well... Only wishes for tangible, material objects. So not 'anything' per say, but any object."
"And where did you say it was?" Jack smiled.
"Well," said the aide, "the Herculean Orb has supposedly been kept away in... well, in any number of places, actually. Lourent, Intrigue, the Wash, Reprium, Tropique, even some lands beyond the Arena..." He paused. "But rest assured, we know it exists, so it's not some fable!"

Oh, but before we set out," Luin turned and hurried away, through the courtyard gate while Rime stayed behind. She took only a minute or so to return, with a large saddle crafted from leather in tow. The woman dropped it off in front of Mona and took a moment to catch her breath from lugging it before addressing Sebastien once more. "Cobbled it together. The Elder Dragon gathers more energy as its fireball starts glowing like a miniature sun. Then with another roar
it lets it loose, the fireball already losing cohesion as it streaks towards them alongside the Stained Basarios' lava plume-like fireball.
Upon hitting something it then bursts spectacularly, sending waves of flame in all directions which on the bright side also vaporizes all the surrounding small fry Dark Matter. Well, bright side if this didn't scorch them to a crisp as well. Noi will need a fancy trick for this.
Assuming the fireball still exploded, the surrounding rock is left with scorch marks on it and the Elder Dragon snorts derisively. It waits to see what became of the two pests in front of it.

"AAH!", the boy shrieks as he swiftly takes off the VR helmet, being met not with death in the jaws of an animatronic bear, but rather back at the Fazcade surrounded by arcade machines, the screen that was showing his gameplay, and right next to him his laughing sister.
"Oh man, that scream!", Althea

◊ groans as he puts down the VR helmet and motion controllers. "Agh, and I almost had it too! I was at 5 AM! This game is stupid!"
"Sure it is, when you can't cheat with your powers."
"I should've never agreed to your dumb bet."
"Why? Because now I know you have no skill?", Althea smirks.
"Hey, I still did better than you did! ... ugh, never mind, this sort of futuristic stuff isn't my thing anyway. I'd rather play some more tag again."
"In here?"
"No, out where there's more space, duh. Besides, this place has some tasty food, I don't wanna blow it up."
"Agreed. So what, we're gonna play tag again? I'm kinda bored with that now. The explosions aren't as fun when you do it all the time."
"Okay, but normal tag is boring too. So what do we do?"
The two ponder for a bit, but then glance at the VR arcade screen in front of them, their metaphorical light bulb going off.
"I have an idea!" "I have an idea!", they both excitedly say at the same time.
—
"Are you sure we shouldn't just make one ourselves? This is taking really long.", Althea asks as the two are floating through the air, the two having left the Mega Pizzaplex about 15 minutes ago.
"Maybe this'd go faster if you helped me look.", Artemas responds as he continues to look to the ground, his eyes glowing red with the spots he's looking at glowing red as well.
"Are we even in the right place? We found it months ago.", Althea groans, but is then startled when Artemas suddenly halts.
"Found it! Right underneath us. Strange that the entrance isn't visible anymore though, it was here the last time.", he says as his eyes turn back to normal, the glow disappearing from it and the ground. The two then warp down, not on the ground but underneath the ground. They end up in a long, dark hallway.
"Still nobody here?", Artemas asks, to which Althea now does the eye thing as she looks around in a circle for a moment.
"Nope. Still just boring rooms and some old stuff like papers. And a lot of dust.", she says after she's done, now turning her eyes back to normal too.
"Great, then nobody's using it.", Artemas grins as he snaps his fingers. The halls begin to glow brightly as they start to rearrange themselves to Artemas' will. The two of them warp into the biggest room, the one connected to the most doors, and the only room that's remaining unchanged. Althea snaps her fingers and a camera system comes into existence. She does it again, and vents start to form within the walls. Machines start to build up within certain rooms. The doors start to change, becoming thicker and tougher, capable of withstanding an immense amount of force.
"I feel like it's gonna be fun.", Althea says, a little excited as she creates a door and hallway behind them as well (where there previously was none).
"Yeah. And who's to thank for this?", Artemas asks with a little smirk.
"You.", Althea admits.
"Hehe, yep! Told you keeping this 'boring' place in mind was gonna pay off at some point."
"Guess you were right. Hey, I just realized, what're we gonna use as enemies? We don't have any robots. I mean, we can create some, but what'd they be like?"
"Well, actually, I saw some super creepy illustrations in that Pizzaplex, in one of the books on the shelves.", Artemas smirks. "They looked like creepy bog monsters, but in actuality they were normal robots that made themselves look different. Let's use that!"
"Ooh, sounds perfect."
With the area having been fully restructured, Artemas now snaps his fingers...

This is a good thing: she clearly had the capacity to follow your commands, we just need to incentivize her to actually do it regularly. In my experience, there's one thing that is crucial to this situation."
The duo entered a wide open room. At the center of it was an altar made from cracked black stone, a broken circle standing upright with piles of rocks and pebbles gathered around it. Luin turned back to face Sebastien. "Respect. She needs to come to understand you as the leader of the pack. Now, I’m not saying to beat her up a second time—although some creatures answer to that better but showing her why she should follow you will, I feel, end up being the most important part of training her. And lucky for us, that's exactly what you'll get the chance to do."
The woman stooped low and grasped a lone stone in her palm, the surface host to a foreign rune that glowed a lovely purple. She held this out in front of the dilapidated shrine and, as if time itself had rewound, the debris surrounding fell upwards into place and the portal was complete once more, now complete with a swirling purple warp. "Don't worry, it'll take Mona with us. Oh, and…you might get a but nauseous. Portal sickness is real."
With that spoken, Luin stepped into the ever-shifting magenta aether and vanished.

His howl turning into a glory-filled roar, the Axe Agent lifts his weapon overhead and charges directly towards Anna. If the woman doesn’t kill him now, the recoil of his final, powerful blow certainly will.
After being barraged by a series of melee attacks, Sword Agent B stumbles backwards. He drops his claymore and lifts a lone hand to his throat, drawing it away soaked in blood. The Agent turns his eyes from his crimson hand to the operator of his doom. With a face that seemed to twist and warp in a writhing fury, he moved his lips as if to utter some final insult at Se'Arah but all that managed to emerge were the final gargles of a dying man. Indeed, he collapsed forwards onto the ground and lay motionless by the sword he had lived by.

Luin glanced around at the wide open, flat deserts and the sprawling network of canyons in the distance. "Where is—" A mild panic began to rise in her tone as she whipped her head from side to side, before finally turning around and glancing behind them. The concerned frown on her lips rose into a smile and rested her hands on her hips.
"Ah, there it is. Home."
There behind them was a grand town of adobe homes with wooden modifications and amenities. Sparse patches of water and greenery were scattered about, moats stretching from a reflective pond into a small farmland where reeds rested, yet unharvested. Men and women small as ants from their perspective bustled about their day, carrying pottery over their head, kelbi on their shoulders, or wooden crates in their hands.
"Been a few years. I actually haven’t been back since my first time in the Arena," She…didn’t count that one unpleasant experience with Or/Gor. Luin cleared her throat and turned to Sebastien. She procured her wooden bow and took some steps backwards, towards Rime (who was now glancing about inquisitively). "Anyways. The King of Curses and supreme Sorcerer Sukuna is in quite the uncommon pickle: Goku is running at him, his own teammate is practicing friendly fire and the rest of them are battered and exhausted unlike anything else. But still, some of them do pull through. Like Sixshot, who deflect the ball meant for him, meaning Sukuna only has to deal with being charged at by MUI Goku, who raises his fist back with full intent to cave Sukuna's face right in.
Left little time to defend himself, Sukuna start "running", leaping closer to his treacherous teammate Doombox. In a vain attempt at at least insuring Goku will immediately strike him? Goku attempts to stop him by simply deflecting the beam tossed his way, smoothly spinning to change the beam's course for Sukuna, but the Sorcerer barely dodge it, and use the explosion's pushing effect to be knocked towards Doombox faster.
A purple aura appears around him as he uses Concentrate, increasing his next magical attack's power greatly. And then, right as he does that, he also complete Malevolent Shrine.
Out from under Sukuna, literally roaring out of the ground to catch him so that he might land on it, a twisted shrine emerges, filled with huge monstrous spikes and screaming mouths, held up by a pile of bloodied bovine skulls, with gnarly tree roots over parts of the "roof" or coming out of the gigantic jaws around the house. Immediately, the air changes, filling it with dread.
But not because the house is spooky or just because Sukuna's aura in itself is particularly disgusting (it is, but it isn't the point).
But because Goku's mighty punch, which he lands on Sukuna's face as soon as he finally summons his Domain, doesn't work. It bounce off, the mighty Goku's eyes widening in surprise as his own force hit him right back in the face, in a manner that Ultra Instinct couldn't dodge. And as he spins out in the air briefly, recovering from his predicament extremely quickly, Goku is struck by a second whammy right after processing the first one.
There's a deep cut, over his neck, blood flowing forth from the massive gash on Goku's body. His bones and muscles are visible from the wound even to the untrained eye, and they soon become a lot more visible, Sukuna allowing Goku a mere second to process his predicament, his eyes widening in fear and shock, before it begins.
Pathetic.
Sukuna made a Binding Vow earlier : He would reduce Malevolent Shrine by a radius of 100m. So that the power and precision of Cleave could increase greatly, allowing it to "adapt" to Goku off the brief moment he was hit by Dismantle very early in the fight. From this moment onwards, Sukuna's cleave modelled to Goku's toughness to breach through his ki. And with his Binding Vow in place, the process was even easier.
And he could say that he also wanted to spare his allies, but he doesn't. And in fact, he made quite sure to get close to Doombox so that he'd get hit even with the reduced range.
This place doesn't fear me? Its inhabitants will see fit to humiliate me if I make myself noticeable? That's fine. It's simply because they're unfamilliar with me. And I've got a way to solve that.
Goku's torn apart, his scream dying in his throat as his flesh and muscles are slashed apart before he can try to escape, half his body being completly flayed for the blink of an eye... before Malevolent Shrine violently pulverize what rest of it down to his bones, leaving absolutely nothing behind. Just as it leaves nothing behind of the forest around Sukuna (or what remains of it), atomizing the grass down to nothing and even carving the ground, insuring that not even dirt will be spared from Sukuna's rampage.
I'll feast on your bones and flesh. I'll hunt your cowering children. I'll tear down your houses and drag you out into the cruel sun. I'll ride on an ocean of blood to seize the cowards. This world will fear me, as Japan did back then. But unlike Japan, I won't let it move past me.
As for the allies caught in the range of the Malevolent Shrine, which are those close to Sukuna's position, they'll be struck by the empowered Cleave, as millions blades attempt to pick them apart to leave nothing behind. They are not fooled nor can they be evaded or defended against: the only way to get rid of those invisible predators is to escape the domain.
And it doesn't matter who I have to kill to carve the message. What innocents I'll defile.
Which Sukuna doesn't drop even after Goku dies, instead watching his allies, who may be caught in Malevolent Shrine. Like Sixshot...
It doesn't matter if you die...
ll'aroew's new form...
Or if you die...
Doombox...
Or if you die... Scum meant to bleed, all of you. Apart from him...
I truly don't care.
Sukuna grins, looking unto the barren earth left in his path, and as Malevolent Shrine ceases, all the group is left with is a wasteland at the earth of the forest, with Sukuna standing in the middle of it, a cruel smile on his face as he quietly overlook his carnage, content with whatever else he got to kill with his technique.
Throughout Heaven and Earth, he alone is the Honored One.
DRAMATIC FINISH!!!!!

Doombox gets wrecked.
What, you expected some kind of dramatic escape?
No, not today, unfortunately. From the force of the Malevolent Shrine, black steam spills out of all his cracks. An electric spark ignites it, and after the speaker is blown up from the inside, there is nothing left of him besides pieces of scrap metal and molten plasic embedded in the environment and a blob of strange liquid spilling away from the battlefield.
If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong.
