Battle Against a Laitivern King
Veyolkos lowered his brow and struck back with an equally violent force as he soun in place and had his cape once more catch Mark's blade, hoping to throw him back again do that Veyolkos could fight him in the hall, the Laitivern looking down at Mark as he let out an otherworldly smile. He saw his words had wounded Mark somewhat, and using that advantage, he barreled forward, charging like a tiger on the hunt as he spoke
"What wound do you wish to mend with my own hard earnings?! Are you that mad warrior that you gloat after you steal? What kleptomaniac are you human?!"

Denji runs over to Aki, saying "Hey, Aki, at least let me come with ya. I might not be a vanguard, but you let me live at your place, and put up with my shit. I owe ya at least a few favors for that, even if Makima set up that arrangement."
Aki shakes his head. "Denji, I can handle it. Remember, You might be immortal now, but I've been in public service hunting longer than you have. Plus, you have your own time. I'm living on borrowed time."
Denji gives a nod, before saying "I'll see you around, then. If you ever need help, I'll be around if I can be."
Aki gives a thumbs up to denji, who, ironicly despite preparing for war, gives a peace sign in return.
Makima, in the meanwhile, gives a polite bow, as she says "I would be glad to work with those here, vanguard or not. If I need help, I'll be sure to ask."

As he's knocked back again, Mark raises his shield as Veyolkos approaches much quicker. He can't really articulate that he was only here to explore, so he impulsively says, "The hell are you even on about!? Is all the shit you learnt on a cozy fucking platter only used to bitch?!" While he tries to hit Veyo with his own momentum by surging forward and hitting the Laitivern using the shield, quickly following it up with a punch.

Ámbar laughs hysterically when Goku's hand was squished by Mjolnir.
Hahaha, wimp! Were you recording, Delfi?
"Errm... Nope."
And what are you waiting for? The Chinese New Year? Start recording now! I want something to laugh!
Her partner begins to record with her tablet the attempts of the others, with Ámbar rolling her eyes whenever somebody manages to move the small hammer.
Gregoria steps before the group.
I think it's my turn now.
Ámbar, noticing a huge cockroach is approaching the hammer, rushes towards it to reach it before Gregoria.
No way! I'll not touch something a dirty cockroach touched! I'll go first!
And doing a puke gesture at the Insect Lady, Ámbar tries to lift the hammer... But it didn't yield a bit.
Stop. Recording. NOW!
Next, it was Gregoria's turn. By using her 4 arms, she managed to move it a few milimeters .
Then, it was Tatiana's turn. She managed to lift it off the ground... But then she fell on her back, hammer in hands.
Oooof...
Surprisingly, Sportacus managed to lift the hammer, somewhat easily, and even doing a few twirls with it.
Try it, Stephanie!
He gives her the hammer, but it drags her to the ground, squishing her hands.
Oops, sorry.
He takes Mjolnir back to the original point.
Noodle, Pancho, Painty and Clarilú (whose hands seems to be fit for Mjolnir) couldn't move the hammer a bit.

Veyolkos was legitimately confused by what he said, even as he was bonked in the head, his charge staggering slightly. And as soon as Mark went in for a punch, he shed some of his scales outward, the dagger like blades hoping to catch his knuckle as he bounced back, stalking around the human in the hall.
"There is nothing cozy about my life! You infantile culmination of mommy issues! I have learned from your kind, and I have learned great cruelty!"
He would suddenly lunge forward with his fist, hoping to catch Mark off guard as he would swipe him into a wall.
AwawaThor's Challenge
There was a great sillihoute over the proofing grounds, seemingly the size of a B-52. Warm, glowing orange powder occasionally dusted the ground below where it flew over. And as it flew out of sight, a great resounding roar was heard, as very suddenly a bird with a bulky upper body and a flaming bronze sheen crashed into the scene. As in literally crashed, it's body tumbling and dragging across the concrete earth, its underside lined with protruding scaled feathers like a rose blossom dislodging from the creature as they exploded in place, sending debris flying every which way. Until he finally skidded before the hammer of Thor: the legendary Mjolnir. His eyes went wide and he stood up upon his hind legs, looking down at the smaller hammer before him inquisitively then looking to the others.
"S O! G U E S S T H I S I S... AN OUTING! WHO LEFT THIS HERE?! WHY I SHOULD RETURN IT!"
He bit down on the hilt of the hammer, and tried to lift it off the ground. He found it was oddly... Fucking heavy. Like it had been super glued to the floor. And that's where his mind first wandered.
"A P R A N K S T E R! WHO ELSE WOULD HAVE GLUED THIS HAZARD TO THE OPEN STREETS?!"
He snarled and reached down with his bill again, pulling on the hilt again, but as he did, the feathers stop him began to glow as if they were molten metal. One could audibly hear the strain, before he seemed to pause, and let out a unholy cry of rage, lifting it off the ground and pulling it straight up into the air, holding it triumphantly. Before his head suddenly lowered and he slammed himself back into the ground in a wild arc. He could lift the hammer, and he could hold it, but he had trouble angling himself to put it down each time, wildly swinging around with it before snarling some more, slamming his tail onto the ground as he was able to keep it just above the ground, his breathing labored.
"A I G H T! WHO... WHOSE HAMMER IS THIS?!"

Andrew is saved last-second by Julia as he pulls out a blunt and begins smoking it after squeezing the head with enough force to cause ignition. Walking back as the mild high he's getting from the drug in there is helping soothe the exhaustion.
"Man's it always a good sign when the smart guy says to attack"
The blunt also had a tinge of plant magic from their old posse, greatly increasing his next spell as he skips the chant process and goes straight to the intent of the cast.
"PULVERIZE."
His club completely disappears and melds on his limbs, causing earthen material to thickly clad his arms, though not to the point of having stone gauntlets, as he makes a dash towards Chroma. He tackles them to the ground, doing as the spell states and rapidly pounds and slams his fists to pulverize Chroma's head. The spell wears off with the stone disappearing from his limbs, he shuffles then rolls to the side takes a little nap, the spellcast took a little too much out of him in the moment.

Mark immediately curves his punch into a block, the chained arms protecting him from some of the scales coming his way, but not all as some hit and graze his torso. Once he lowers his arms, Veyolkos seems to be gone, only hearing his voice.
"I get it, I FUCKING get it, you're fornicatingly smart! Now hit me, instead of the fucking books!" Mark isn't one to talk someone down but he loves talking shit about someone's superiority by appealing to it.
As Veyo's fist comes forward, Mark blocks with his arms. He's sent flying towards the wall — being really lightweight. He uncoils his chain with the shield tied on it as he flails it forward to lodge itself where Veyo struck to rapidly reel himself closer. He then comes in with a flying kick as the shield recoils and rebounds to widely whip once he lands.
From the extremely sudden momentum, his coat opens up and flutters to the point of being taken off, the features granted by his devotion showing at full display.

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong. The Maw decides to just keep going at it against Megaman, mindlessly pummeling at the bot until Samus is able to use her superhuman strength to tear off a plate from his poorly-preserved power armor, and sneak a bomb in there. Realizing the danger, The Courier also sees that he's being made to tick again, he has a move of bizarre animalistic cunning inherent to dumb brute: attempting to grab Megaman and Samus, the latter by whatever he can grab, but he'll aim for the arm, and attempts to run into Ms.Grey, attempting to get them all to detonate with him.
However, regardless of what happens, his lack of attempt at removing the bomb causes him to go kablooey, being caught in a massive blast. A massive blast he, against all odds, survive, his big brutal shape being barely seen poking around the smoke, stumbling in a furious daze before he drops to the ground on all four and begin vomiting blood all over the ruined concrete.

Tons of lasers, missiles and grenades rain down at the fighters, as the panicked Maw calls upon its freakish army: legions of mindless Securitrons, box-shaped robots rolling around on a single wheel, each packing enough munitions, armor firepower to topple a small country by themselves. And they all decided they're comfortable just toppling the group instead, about no less than 25 showing up, with many, many, many more crawling around the ruins.
Some try to get between the Maw and the rest of the group, as he attempts to stomp repeatedly upon Green, screaming and yelling in a mad rage.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Infested Grineer Galleon
As Jane kneeled besides the Primary Reactor to set up the bomb, the gang stood between her and the advancing Chroma.
Chroma snarled as the fans cut into its flesh once more, growing deeper than they had before and even relieving the Warframe of a few fingers (breaking bad refrens). Retribution was swift and dangerous, however, coming in the form of electricity bursting forth from the enemy's head and heading directly towards Belemicho, capable of stunning him and hopefully leaving him temporarily unable to move his limbs, even if for just the next minute.
Before it could move in for the kill however, it was tackled by Andrew who was now using his powers much more effectively than he had before in this journey (not that Chroma would know). The Warframe began to attempt to wrestle Andrew off of it but failed…
…Until the man's fists of stone and balls of steel wear off.
Immediately taking advantage of this opportunity, Chroma attempted to send Andrew a good twenty feet into the air with a powerful uppercut. If that was successful, the Warframe would immediately follow up with a powerful, but not fatal kick.
Andrew's attack was not without its effects of Chroma however, having greatly mutilated its face and head shape.
It progressed ever onwards.
Next, Boreas slams into Chroma. The Warframe lifted its arms and attempted to push the Blade off of it, but was only freed when Boreas jumped off of it himself, forcing it to stumble backwards. Loose flesh hanging from his body all over, Chroma assumed the attack was over. Before he could fire his gun though, the bitball fired from Boreas' maw and forming a decently sized hole in the Warframe's chest, causing massive and profuse blood loss.
But this Warframe had become Infested, and something as silly as a "fatal injury" would not be enough to stop it.
The Warframe, after a brief period of weakness, launched into action. It leapt straight and true, as if it itself were a bullet, attempting to grapple onto Boreas and use the strength nested within a Warframe to throw the Blade to the wayside and directly into one of the spacecraft's many small engines.
Edmund, weaponless, ran in front of it, making up the plan as he went, but before he could do anything he was immediately decked in the fucking face, Chroma stepping over him as he writhed on the ground, his face bleeding profusely.
The Warframe, advancing still, exchanged its rifle for its massive sword, scraping it along the ground as it walked.
Finally, Julian and Julia, siblings, leapt in between Chroma and Jane. Together, they were the woman’s last bastion of hope, standing as a bulwark to prevent the Infested Warframe from being able to pass.
They cast one another a passing glance, before a quick nod sealed their alliance.
Chroma thrust its blade forwards, missing Julian and being stopped by a blue shield of light brought forth by Julia. While the woman summoned swords of the same material around Chroma, driving each one into the enemy which then exploded into energy, Julian zipped behind it and fired his grappling hook into its neck, planting his feet and jerking the hook back. Chroma, forced to stumble backwards, was left open to an attack by Julia. The woman summoned a rapier of light into her hands and thrust it forwards, but not fast enough.
Chroma recovered in time for one of its arms to shoot out, its hand wrapping around Julia’s forearm and throwing her into one of the secondary engines to the side. She crashed into it and created a dent, falling to the ground with a scream of pain and her back badly burnt, gripping a broken elbow.
Seeing his sister hurt, Julian was overcome with strength and sheer willpower. He retracted the grappling hook and shot it out again once it had returned, swinging it from the side this time. The steel cord wrapped itself around one of Chroma's arms, growing tight as the hook embedded itself into the flesh. Chroma reared its other arm back and threw the sword at Julian, but he simply stepped to the side, avoiding it. Chroma continued to struggle against the wire but the more it did so, the tighter it grew. Finally, Julian realized there was only one thing left to do.
"Don't touch my grandfather. And sure as hell, do NOT. Fucking. Hurt. My. Sister!" He roared, retracting the grappling hook while forcing his arm back to add to the force, leading to the complete and total mangling of Chroma's arm, the areas that the cord had been wrapped around being entirely shredded and the few areas that remained unaffected (the wrist and hand, essentially) simply flying away from the stump past Chroma's elbow and landing somewhere beyond Julian, near the center of the room.
After a quick pause in which he had taken a deep breath, Julian realized with fear that this attack had done nothing to atually halt Chroma's advance towards Jane and the reactor, but had merely served as a way for Julian to vent his anger.
By the time all of this had surfaced in the young lad's mind, a bullet from Chroma's rifle had already fired through his torso. He stumbled backwards, clutching his gut, before falling to the ground as blood began to seep through his clothes, drip to the floor, and gather around him.
Chroma merely turned continued ever onwards, towards Jane who was now hastily and fearfully setting the charges onto the Main Reactor. The Warframe fired its rifle at her, without relent. The woman's sword, with a purple eye glowing on the hilt, floated in the air around her and blocked each of the gunshots before they could get to their target. As soon as she finished setting them up, she pressed a button as a five minute time appeared on a digital screen, visible to all. Her hand shot out and clutched the sword, as she stood from her kneeled position.
Jane approached Chroma, blocking each shot and her arms a blur. She finally came close enough to attack and, with astounding speed, slashed across Chroma's chest and drove the weapon into its neck. But before she could remove it, the Infested warrior dropped the gun and brought its only remaining fist down onto the blade, cracking it in half with a flash of purple light. Jane screamed in pain as her sword, with which she had forged a spiritual bond, was shattered.
Chroma wrapped its only five fingers left around Jane's head, attempting to apply enough pressure to crush it like a watermelon, but she refused to die so easily. Her head slipped with ease out of the Warframe's grasp and, as she wrapped her own arms around the corrupted fighter's, she knew there was only one way anyone in this room could emerge victorious.
She needed to die, and she needed to take Chroma with her.
As an aura of shadows covered her body and she assumed a newer, more demonic form, Jane ran towards the cracked window, Chroma in her grasp.
"Everyone hold on to something!" She yelled to everyone else in the room as she reached the window, but before she could, Chroma found its footing and regained control. It slammed Jane's head into the window, cracking it further, before placing her into a chokehold and beginning to force the life from her body.
It seemed that this truly was how their journeys would end, but thankfully again, they had been proven wrong.
With a great burst of strength, Julia waved her arms and summoned technomagical light swords, three in number, in the air behind Chroma. The trio of weaponry drove themselves into the great enemy's back and exploding simultaneously, giving Jane a just big enough opening to regain control of the situation, grab Chroma by the arm, and judo throw it over her shoulder and into the window.
The bulletproof glass finally gave way and shattered, the cold, empty void of space instantly sucking both combatants out and into the infinite nothingness of that which enveloped the Arena. Instantly, a wall of see-through blue hexagons was formed, covering the glass and preventing anything else in the room from being raptured out. Even still, through what remained of the glass and the transparent light wall, two specks could be seen growing smaller and smaller.
"Goddamn…" Edmund grunted, leaning against a wall.
"She did what she had to, grandpa. There’ll be time to pay our respects later, but right now we gotta go.” Julia stumbled to her feet, pointing at the timer that was now down to 4 minutes and thirty seconds. She staggered over to Julian’s unconscious body, picking it up and carrying him on her back while Edmund pointed ahead, out of the door that the Juggernaut had burst in from minutes earlier. On the wall were signs pointing in specific directions, one of which reading the words “Lifepods”.
“Come on, everybody!” He hollered, running through the busted doorway and leading the charge, praying that everybody involved ran as well. Julia, following him, left behind a cloud of nanobots, each one flying into the wounds of the injured and plugging them. It wouldn’t heal them in any sense of the word, or bring them back from an unconscious state, but it’d stop the bleeding and the process of death for long enough that they could get real medical attention back home.
As the gang ran, the ship became more and more dangerous, parts of it becoming soft from steel becoming flesh, and as such, unstable. Many times did they have to take detours, due to their path being blocked by a wall of meat or collapsed walls and roofs. Behind them, very few Infested beasts gave chase, and those few that did suddenly and mysteriously came to a total stop, a golden aura surrounding each one.
Finally they reached a large, circular elevator in one of the few remaining areas left unaffected by the Infestation. Edmund waited for everyone to pool in, scanning the list of buttons. Finally, he found one that read “LIFE POD BAY” and practically punched it, backup generators on the ship working to kick the elevator into motion.
The long ride down was not entirely uneventful, however.
Over the ship's intercom, a voice crackled and flared to life. It was deep and distorted, speaking words that sounded vaguely english but clearly were not, as though the speaker had been corrupted. These meaningless phonetics and syllables continued to molest the ears of the men, women, and Boreases there for another minute, until they finally formed together to become legible sentences.
"WHO. ARE. Y-Y-YOUUU." It spoke, as if glitched. The lights of the elevator flashed repeatedly, as though they were lights in the club leading up to the greatest bass drop known to man.
But no beat dropped, and after the voice completed its sentence the intercom shut off with a click, the lights returning to normal. One thing of interest did remain, however, and that was a song playing faintly in the distance.
It was low in volume, but was just audible enough to elicit a feeling of…nostalgia?
The song continued to quietly play as the elevator came to a stop, the doors opening to reveal a long room with multiple circle hatches, each one numbered and leading to a lifepod.
“Alright everyone…We'll take three lifepods. Groups of two.” Edmund panted, winded from the long run. Even though he was in excellent shape for an old man, he was still just that: an old man. “We’ll rendezvous back on the Arena. Wherever they leave us, we’ll all be in relatively the same spot.” He ordered, opening one and walking in after Julia, laying Julian down and the woman gave him medical attention while the old man shut the lifepod hatch, pressing a bright red button.
Coincidentally for the other four, only two more lifepods remained that hadn't been deeply Infested. Once they had situated themselves within either, closed the hatch, and pressed that same bright (now flashing) button, all three would disembark at the same time.
The life pods were led on magnetic rails through the ship, the destruction and chaos on display through the windows, before being launched at high speeds out of the side of the Grineer Galleon. The thrusters kicked in to guide the lifepods through the wide expanse of space and back into the atmosphere of the Arena.
One violent and harsh re-entry later, the parachutes at the top of each cylindrical lifepod allowed the three to touch down onto soft soil with ease.
From the first stumbled out Edmund, his legs feeling like they had been turned into jelly. Next came Julia, carrying her brother, who she set down onto the bright green grass of…
One look around told her they had landed in the scenic highlands of Estraole. Around them, green plateus and cliffs rose from the earth, but it seemed like they had landed on the highest of them, letting the gang look out to the sun setting in the distant sea.
“Hey…We did it.” A weak voice came from from Julian on his back, who held his hand over his eyes, now awake. With his other hand, he pointed at the sky where, for all those who observed where he was pointing could see a distant explosion, hundreds of miles up. The Galleon had been atomized, and the threat at hand discarded.
“Shit…” Julia sighed with a chuckle, exhausted. She collapsed to the grass besides her brother, finally able to rest.
Edmund smiled as he looked up with his hand shielding his eyes, before turning his gaze back to the men and boreas chunguses that had helped them.
“You’ve done the Arena a service here. All four of you. Thank you. I can’t pay you, but know this. Me, my family, and everyone in these lands are eternally grateful to you.”

Veyokos would rear his head back seeing the flaming blow, and would roll his shoulder back. Until he heard the "something coherent" half. Mark saw true unbridled hatred in his eyes, as he roared and lunged forward like a tiger spotting a fawn. And, perhaps tied to it all or not, stands Isos behind the door of her room. The toddler sobs hysterically, unable to reach the handle of her door and, thus, unable to just leave it. Her cries are powerful, able to be heard everywhere in the building she's in, and its surrounding, as the girl rolls around on the floor in supreme mental agony, tears streaming down her purple face like a waterfall.
It doesn't look like she'll stop unless the door is removed as an obstacle.

Majima, somehow, Manages to sleep through all this, in the room next to Isos's, out cold, snoring.
Pochita, sadly, also cant open the door without cutting through it, barking and wimpering.
Then comes... possibly one of the worst people to enter the bar... Power, The blood fiend. Power walks up the stairs, to the source of the noise, looks to pochita and gives it a smile, and while looks back at her in confusion, Power Calmly opens the door, as Majima Continues to sleep.
Power gives a few sniffs, before saying "Weird. Could have sworn it was a devil doing this to the sky outside, Not a lil kid like you. Ah, couldn't open the door, could you?" Power immediately goes on to being a bad influence. "Hey, kid, tip for ya, the humans don't want you to know this, but if you want to open a door which you can't open normally, just give it a good kick."
She walks over to the door to the room Majima is staying in, giving it a firm kick, breaking the lock, despite being a completely improper doorkick, and forcing the door open. This also somehow doesn't wake Majima.
Pochita in the meanwhile looks really confused by the fiend.
For refrence, Power Is mostly human in appearance, but with odd eyes, horns coming from her head, and vampire like teeth. or maybe catlike teeth.

The three look at their wristbands, now displaying a map.
"Whoa, technology!"
As the straps go off, Simón says:
Yeah, I have a last question: our maps will display the location of the next box? Or we are going to search it for ourselves, with just the compass?
Alt Arena
The lightning stream left Belemicho paralyzed, unable to move a single muscle, just watching impotently the rest of the battle and the heroic sacrifice of Jane.
One minute later, the paralysis effects diminished just enough to move his limbs, but his muscles were still numb. With that, he carried the still unconscious Maxwell on his back, and ran as quick as he could to the lifepods.
On their lifepod, Maxwell finally woke up.
We... Did it?
You better think it.
Belemicho hugs his friend, all the way to Estraole.
There, they just answered with a nod, and without saying a thing, they set their path back to their lab, in Onyxis, to study more about that phoenomenon.

Three freaking ghosts! The Bee and Barb
As soon as Power opens the door, there is a whoosh in the window, and glaring down at amber was that same woman. Her green eyes seemed almost to burn into the woman's soul(or whatever equated to an inate feeling of self). She looked down at Isos and gently held her hand, looking the toddler in the eyes as she gently spoke down to her.
"Everything alright little Isos...?"

Awawaalright lets head back id like to know everything about you guys while were ahead Says Dead Master, a little eager to get going with her orkz friends. As for Eve, she receives a message from her copies: there's a Chaos Magic rocket and one Adam waiting for her, to go decimate enemies hidden in the stars.
And though she is interested with the tower, the Vanguards and Azura, Eve thinks that most of her business is concluded there. Besides, who would she be to ignore an occasion to slaughter evil? Don't forget, my hospitals are never out of reach! I'll even put blue marks and signs around wilder parts of the Arena to help! It was fascinating talking to you, here's hoping for cooperation between us all! And she's off.
As for Azura, she bows politely, watching Eve teleport away. I must take my leave. Gor be with you, my friends. Should no one interrupts her, she smiles at Murasa, and likewise walk off.

Wait a minute: I got lost. What I gonna do with the packages?
Ninq facepalms.
"You have to take the packages to their correspondent dispenser: take the box a to dispenser A."
Just think instead of dispensers, they are customers.
Simón sighs. I just hope the commandress isn't watching us.
"By the way, I do think their rewards should be for all the session. Are you fine with that, Cubical?"
