Anna simply says "Nobody's hurt, don't worry!"
A Phone rings and the odd eyed woman picks it up before saying "Yes, I know arasaka's stock is about to crash. The cyberware programmers wouldn't shut up about that critical bug on the secure channels. I know these things. Please tell me when there's something I won-" The other end of the call hangs up, before the Anna shrugs.
She looks back to Yuji, one of the stock lines in her eyes going red and plumeting. "Thanks for caring about my safety though. I'll get that fixed soon."
She quickly takes a glance at possible data.
High schooler, has problems with science classes. Perhaps an offer can be made. A slight spook, but nothing which will seem threatening.
"Say. Would you perhaps be interested in some info on physics or chemistry textbooks, something more... legible and reasonable than what most schools in Tokyo would have you use?"
Yuji blinks and think. It'd be useful... a little while ago, but now, it didn't seem that important next to exorcising stuff. Like maths are super neat! But his focus lies elsewhere. No, I'm good, thanks!
He turns around, ready to leave: can she come up with a way to stick him in using stuff a jujutsu trainee would want to know about?

As they kept climbing and she imparted onto him her nature, how she too was of destined stock, and great duty, Kroq-Gar lowered his head. As she put herself down she could audibly hear his nostrils flare up. Loud, popping, echoing drumming coming from his throat as he continued to climb up the rockface. The desert and its many verdant oases now looked like distant patchwork. Kroq-Gar spoke up after a brief silence, just as the paused moment begin to feel like a heavy weight of shame.
"Warmbloods put themselves down too often. I hear their faults, and I do understand. You are at least somewhat special to me, a good friend who has decided to stick around. You think yourself undeserving of the title, but I think you know why you were given that boon."
Soon they started to stand atop the cliffs, and found... steps. Kroq-Gar didn't question it. This realm would wrack one's minds with pointless and benign trivia if given the chance. Lizardmen hardly ever felt small. Instead, they could grow so confounded in the madness that surrounded them it could get dangerous. Their actions could get too slow, contemplation could over ride the moment. It worked against the metaphysical aspects of their existence, but not reality. As he continued up the steps with her either at the front or his back, he still spoke to her, on their way to that great summit.
"We are survivors. We might not always succeed... But we do make it out alive. But that is not the whole sum of your worth. Doubt, leads to confusion. Confusion leads to annoyance, and from there rage, and then entropy."
The Lands of Intrigue
Great earthquakes rocked across the land, as the stomping feet of a great WAAAAAAAAAAGH! went underway. Great tremors rocked the mountains like the banging of thunder, massive tidal waves rose from the rivers and crashed against the shoreline, and finally, long-dormant volcanoes erupted within the East and the lands were scarred for all to see by geysers, and ruptured turf. Cazdathos walked alongside Grimgor, who carried with him his great axe, poised to jam it into the skull of any unfortunate party. The Great beast of war were led along the now jagged terrain, as the great horde was now joined by a technologically more advanced, and quieter force- one that had aided them in making more thorough warmachines. Buggies that could house multiple greenskins, and new landfortresses that they could now use to bring enemy vessels towards the.
Soon, a cliff-face came into sight, plenty of modern equipment laying around as the Silent Ones had immediately converted it into their own joint operation. As they approached the great excavation site, a small arc could be seen, one that a few with wide ocular mask forged from insect carpace were manning, trying to click things together with bony augments. More diseased, almost feral looking Silent Ones could be seen running the carved out terrain, as the only remnants of the original diggers were the stains of congealed, darkened blood on the dirt. The Gnobblar dragged the box along side them, the crate holding the key they needed. Grimgor was still a little confused to its nature. A simple man yes, but he was not as witless as a huge chunk of his peers.
"Da bit... Yuz say itz part of da brainy boyz wurmholez?"
Cazdathos groaned quietly behind her mask, which Grimgor easily caught onto and growled, the woman raising her arms up to the air, blades pointed away from him so he didn't get the idea she was looking for a fight.
"Part of them... Not enough to coat this damned vessel of stagnation in its energies... But enough that this realm will be transformed."

Arad backed up somewhat, keeping the bow trained on the entity.
"Depends on your definition of human," He countered, being as human as a chicken was a dinosaur or a man an ape.
So. This…entity clearly spoke, and understood, the english language. Which meant it was capable of speaking to him, but chose not to answer him. "I asked what you are. You plan on answering that, or we gonna have to do the whole song and dance? I fight you for answers, you fight me for…Whatever it is you bit me for already. Because I’m in no mood for a fight, so I am begging you please, please, do not make me fight you." He feigned a confidence that he wasn't even sure he had.
Because, truth be told, as powerful and confident as Arad felt in his one man army Warframes, he knew he was nothing without them. When he was controlling his Mesa Prime, Atlas Prime, Nidus, Valkyr Prime, Excalibur Umbra, or whatever else Warframe he felt like using that day, he didn't just fight in a war. He decided the war. In his Warframes Arad was judge, jury, and executioner. He was the sin, he was the enforcement, and he was the ultimate penalty.
But without those Warframes?
He was nothing, a human man with a cool bow and a couple space powers. So even as he stared this creature down and spoke cooly, deep inside he knew that at any moment, should this thing decide to attack, he may not be able to escape alive, and no amount of fancy new Grandnova tech or martial arts would change that.

Alt but not Alt Arena (wish it was 😢)
Luin had spent her entire life battling giant creatures, of all different magnitudes of size and power. And every time they moved to attack, there was some sort of telegraph, that was very easy to see due to the sheer size of these creatures. Unlike many other fighters, she was not used to predicting the acts of someone as small as a fellow human.
And for this reason, she was unable to do shit against the shield that had united with her face in much the same manner as a soldier returning from a war to meet his wife on the docks (with the wife's boyfriend waiting in the car). The Rider stumbled back, suddenly wishing she had kept her helmet on. "…Alright," She grinned, holding her chin as a welt began to form on it. Luin held her sword arm out to the side and swiped it at to her counterpart at a slow enough speed that it was certain to be blocked by her shield. Hoping that her desert friend would take the bait, using the shield against her sword and leaving herself wide open, she'd then move in for a shoulder bash to the opponent's torso.
Lutemis huffs as she gets a face full of stone from Sandstone, charging at the monster. Just before it seems like she's in range to be attacked, however, she takes to the skies, flies over sandstone, and fires a much more powerful fireball, this time attempting to hit the Gilded Diablos on it's less well protected (but still tanked out af) backside.

CHAMPION backs away from GUARDIAN, trying to avoid the mines at first but brimmed with glee as she realized what this meant for her. From within the cockpit the woman grinned. "Nice job!" She broadcast over the mech's speakers, taunting the enemy. "Now where are you gonna go? You're trapped!"
But never one to choose victory by attrition over victory by total domination, a blue light switched on in the CHAMPION's cockpit as she activated the autopilot, before leaping out from the cockpit the moment it opened, utilizing her grappling hook while she was falling from the mech.
The thin black wire fired from her artificial arm and latched onto the GUARDIAN, as she zoomed towards it, over the mines, and attempted to land on it, kicking at the cockpit as the CHAMPION's autopilot had it retrieve the hammer.
"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE YOU BITCH OPEN THE FUCK UP!" She demanded, beating and kicking the cockpit hatch of the enemy mech.

/\。。/\Laxin picks up on the cue from his counterpart's finger point, able to feel the power of the Force immediately attempting to crush him to bits. Quickly rolling to the side just in time, the dark lord is thrown straight into the wall. Dropping his lightsaber from the impact, Laxin coughs on the ground for a second. He's on his hands and knees for longer than expected.
The power from Ascended Laxin surprised the dark lord, but he was far from beaten. Slamming his fist into the ground, Laxin sends an arcing trail of force lightning black as night dancing across the floor toward Ascended Laxin. As the lightning tore a path toward the Jedi Master, Laxin rose to his feet.
"Enough. Whoever stands with a head by the end is the one who holds the truth."
He growls, recalling his lightsaber to him and igniting it. Lowering himself close to the ground and letting his crimson blade sink into the floor, Laxin tore a path toward his counterpart, leaving melted stone behind him. Closing the gap, Laxin pulls his blade from the melted floor, using the Force to drag a stream of magma from the cracks.
He maneuvers it above Ascended Laxin's head and drops it. Laxin flourishes his blade and rushes forward, only a few feet away from his counterpart!

The Creature listens to Arad, it's jaw hanging low as it heaved it's chest with every breath, which the flesh pulsed as if something was running just beneath the skin. Its legs seemed constantly to cycle between buckling and springing to action.
"You... Are not... human..."
It repeated the same tone again, this time shaking it's head wildly side to side, and when someone opened a window to see what this creature was doing, it's ears perked. And it immediately galloped forward and slammed it's teeth against the glass of the window, the sound of a man and woman screaming being heard as they ventured further into the back of their room. The creature used it's human like arms to peel and throw the frame off, all the while it kept screaming.

Stefan's face turns slightly red at the sight of Rumia's gesture... Does this girl like him? That much? ... Must be the one battle that they have had previously, if his knowledge of Touhou is anything to rely on... He gets brought out of his thoughts by the newcomer.
Icarus: That's the last of 'em
Icarus: Uhh, introductions now?
Stefan: I'd opt to skip, Thor here is getting impatient
Icarus: Bummer, I've rehearsed this and everything!

Stefan: Anyways, wish me good luck with the battle
Icarus: That'd be unfair towards the other fighters :P Jk gl
The hatches to the arena open, and bridges extend from them towards the island. Icarus is pacing back and forth on it.
"Alright, usually at this point I'd introduce the challengers, but actions speak better than words... so let's get right into the first challenge! Zone KO!"
He takes off and hovers slightly to the island's side.
"This is a team competition. One the blue team, we have..."
One by one, the competitors' names appear on a scoreboard in the arena.
"...Flandre, Rumia and Stefan. And on the red team, we have Sarah, Thor and... uh, the guest's name should show up on the scoreboard any second now."
It's Arad, as it turns out. Stefan hastily grabs himself a helmet, then moves out to the blue side of the island.
Holy shit, here goes.
"Now, once the match starts, the island's halves will start to shrink - they'll shrink faster if there are more people on it. Your challenge is it to either completely knock off the other team, or make their half shrink to..."
A green, circular indicator, with a radius of five meters appears in the middle of the arena.

If it disagrees with experiment, it's wrong."Hmph, I would have preferred red but oh well." Flandre says before dashing directly at Thor, faster than a human could follow but considering her target she feels that's fair. Her intent is seemingly to blitz him off the stage or at least distract him. Behind her, Rumia fires a barrage of her expanding rings of bullets to cover her approach and harass the other team, flying close to the ground a bit slower than Flandre to the red side.
Flandre: red side
Rumia: blue side but almost on red
"That was a pointless encounter with a pointless person."Sarah and Thor position themselves to the right side (or red side, coz they're red), awaiting. Sarah ponders a little about how to proceed: Stefan is... well the Arena finds a way, and if he wasn't normal, he wouldn't be there she thinks. But still, kiddie gloves on for him unless he shows some durability. Thor, don't forget to hold back, hm? Truth to be told, Sarah is a little irritated at not fighting at her peak, but she doesn't mind a fair challenge, and who knows: underestimating the group's dark horse could be problematic, so she decides not to act on it, nor blame him for wanting to be a part of it.
The two fairies are also notable, she decides not to overlook them too much.
Thor seems to be fuming in the meantime, finding the enemy team to be laudable in some way, yet wishing to find an enemy to take his strongest blows! Like Sarah, he does consider holding back for Stefan, but if the two fairies get a concussion, it's not his problem.
As Arah appears, Thor ignores him, irritated at the going-ons, while Sarah smiles and nod, even offer her hand for an handshake. Hi! You saw our names. Alright, so I have an idea- using the little time available, she communicates it quietly...
And then the fight starts!
Sunglasses, everyone! Sarah leans forward and points her glowing index, firing a sort of orb of light by bending, well, light, right as Flandre dash in.
The light shines, attempting to briefly blind or get the other fighters to be distracted. Before it can result in the whole crowd having to close their eyes though, it fades as quickly as it appeared: its purpose is done.
Thor blasts across the battlefield, hammer raised high above his head, and he attempts to perform a powerful blow upon Flandre. The light was only a way for the swift god to close the distance without letting his opponents see him coming: That way, as far as they know, they suddenly have a Thor right upon them, attempting to hit the fairy with a sideway one-handed swing of his powerful hammer. Of course, with Flandre going on the offensive, Thor now has way less of a distance to cross, and could be standing right in front of the blinded Flandre, looking to hit her in the face so as to send her flying!
Unusually, the god of thunder looks almost dismissive, only letting out a Feh! as he performs the strike.
Sarah waits a little and erect an electromagnetic barrier in front of Arad to shield him from the attacks Rumia got off. As for herself, she speeds to the fairy, crossing her arms in front of her face to lessen the damage from the attacks and attempting to start the fight with a powerful kick, capable of sending her flying out of bounds if it connect! Haha, you're aggressive! You caught me by surprise even! That's rare!
Sarah : Red Side —> Blue Side (fighting up close with Rumia)
Thor : Red Side —> Red Side (does not move or barely, as Flandre blitzed over to his side). ...
Nah, I'm fine, my teacher's the strongest man in the world! See ya!

Arad realized that the wall the creature was ripping at wouldn't last much longer, and if he wanted any chance at saving the people inside of there he'd need to attract it's attention. He fired an arrow at it's torso, trying to grab it's attention while pulling back another bolt of energy, this time releasing it at it's prime and, if he had successfully gotten the creature to look at him earlier, would aim for one of it's faces.

Arad made his way down and a bright flash of blue engulfed his body. When it subsided he was gone, and in his place stood (bottom pic) Excalibur Umbra,
Arad's Warframe of choice.
He responds to Sarah's handshake by instead dapping her up. Arad nods at the plan, and the moment after Sarah's flash of light, he lifts his sword in the air (unaffected by the flash due to a lack of any facial features on Warframes, including eyes) and produces even more light to add to the effect.
He leaps upwards and over the shield with no time to spare, as there was no telling when their joint flash attack may wear off. As the bullets sped towards him, he held his Skiajati out before him, cutting through many of the bullets heading his way (don't ask how they don't just hit him twice, I'm not the one who added that mechanic to Warframe) and those he couldn't get in time would sizzle away before they reached the Warframe's steel flesh, caught by its own protective aura. Though it wouldn't last forever, it would make do for this maneuver. Arad landed in the thick of enemy territory, targeting Stefan.
Sarah and Thor might have been holding back on the underdog, but no such mercy existed in the twisted minds of the Tenno.
When he landed, he'd swing the sword at Stefan, going for the man's arm.

Sarah dives right after herself, and smiles a split second before she's struck in the jaw, being sent flying with a slight ow by her counterpart. Grinning, she puts her hands and her leg up and counter the board bash with those, her limbs shaking slightly before the strength of the blow. The necro boxing gloves help though, and she briefly contemplates shaping them into something new...
That's two hits on you, two hits on me! Congrats on getting the first of those but... Sarah breaks the clash and back off, before gathering the matters on her hands and feet unto a large board, similar to Summer Sarah's. Grabbing the Necrosurfboard, she twirls it overhead on the tip of her finger before grinning widely and swiping the air with it, producing a strong shockwave and grasping it with her hand.
...I'm taking the lead this time!
Sarah yells and dash at her other self, smiling in genuine happiness as she intends to clash boards with her. Even contained, the strength of the clash would be colossal, great shockwaves forming in the sky and rattling the world below as Sarah attempts to smack herself around across the entire sky, using wild and precise movements with her weapon.
She's a killing machine with her impromptu weapon, spinning it on her finger to make it act like an helice, bashing, sudden kicks and punches, sometimes holding the weapon like a big hammer, other times not...
Should she be in control of the fight, or at least on the offensive, the shockwaves begin to head down to a large patch of ice below Miraak's Castle. And should she reach that, the shockwaves die down as more strength is focused on Summer Sarah, until her blows cannot so much as ruffle the snow around them.
Eve, for her part, scoffs a little at Sarah's indulgence in fighting herself. She can't help but find the trait slightly worrying with what could be at stakes, like Sarah would be unable to emphasize with Kirrey and would just punch him after everything is said and done with. She pray to win first out of the whole group, so as to avoid an accident occurring if a more apathetic warrior get to the golden prize.
But that said... Well... she smiles, not that mad as Sarah, for she can perceive her(and maybe her counterpart's) happy relief in fighting each other while minding the collaterals. Someone is having fun!
As she has to briefly fight to not topple with the shockwaves and Ynn's beam, Eve raises a shield, then she raises several more shields, then she sees them all shatter beneath the might of Siel and wordlessly cast Reinforcement Magic on her jaw, as she's sent flying. ow Eve huffs, stopping herself in mid-air and briefly stroking her jaw. Oow indeed. Subdued as her reaction is, it hurts.
Eve only now realizes that her other self's repertoire is unknown to her, but hers should be aware of what she can do. Even if she doesn't dodge... the odds are high that Eve could run into troubles. Do I summ-does she summon at random? Is it a pick based on the situation? This one shouldn't hurt you too badly!
Eve combines the simplest elemental power, Fire Magic, with Soul Magic, and claps her hands together, casting three great blue fireballs. They hover slowly towards Scion Eve, looking to entrap her before imploding with great force. The eviler a person, the higher the damage and the lengthier the burn! So it shouldn't do anything bad, she just want to see if she can pick an appropriate defense or has to wing it based on a random "pull".
Regardless, because of the attack doing no damage, Eve decide to move on with her next attack, grabbing Nidrugg and spinning it around her, blue circles being left in its wake as it does several rotations around them.
Dancer Refia sees her other self hesitating, briefly wonder what she could think about, and then realizes that because they're the same person. It's very nice of you to worry about the dress, but you'll lose if you hold back! she says, smiling a little despite the chiding tone.
As it to demonstrate, she dodges the attack, having to grab parts of the dress and pull them aside to barely avoid the move, and then points Mystic Candle at Refia. Its flame glows blue, and she hurls another plasma ball her way!
It's pretty tissue but it's tissue. You're-we're- flesh and very tough metal and forget it.
