Jigen looks impatient to get some moolah. Who cares about dragons, Goemon can probably cut them into itty-bitty dragon pieces.
"Well? Let's get going!"
Loners Group
Ika shivers, sensing the monster's presence subconsciously.
''"This place is real scary, de-geso."
She just watches Micolash do his wacky things.

/\。。/\"... Y-yeah," says Kyra. "My name's... Kyra."
Matthew doesn't have the chance to introduce himself, because Micolash does his thing.
The monster, not expecting to be seen through its camouflage, is blown down.
And then it starts to fade into view. A large talon plants into the ground, pulling up a meaty arm covered in blue chitin...
It is DEFINITELY NOT a giant fluffy bunny.
"So... much... essence," the monster snarls in a more guttural and raspy voice than any of its prey foes have ever heard, dragging its larger left arm against the ground.
"That thing... it's what took out Dot."
It doesn't bother with the literal mooks anymore, stomping directly towards Mikhail, the one with the most powerful biological abilities.
"I... am... Dehaka. One-who-collects. Today... I feast."
With that, he brings his huge left claw down upon the man!
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Ah! What great purpose! I would fight you, but there would be little to gain from physical conflict, and I am also not one to indulge in such unsophisticated brawls! Have fun partaking in such tests of might! And may the cosmos grace you one day!
And with that, Micolash tries to wander in deeper, apparently not too interested in helping out. He even lets out an Evil Laugh!

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterWell, this is turning out awful pretty quickly!
Mikhail's twin fans appear in each of his hands as he swiftly darts out of the way, utilizing his surprising agility to dodge the swipe of this eccentric fellow.
"Whoa! Hey there, if you want some, you have to at least take me on a date first."
He winks at Dehaka, taking a few steps back as he does so.
Yatta!Mountains
Eryn catches them as best as she can. "Guys, I think these spikes were for killing dragons. Note the red all over them. It's unlikely one is alive in these mountains..."
Then the mountain they are now on starts to rumble as well. "In fact, I'd wager the mountains themselves are alive!"
She jumps off and glides to the ground as the spikes above their current perch break off and turn into a landslide tumbling down towards the group!
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""Pleased to meet you, Kyra. However, for blatantly obvious reasons, I'm afraid we may have to wait until later to get better acquainted."
Loki turns his attention to the newly-revealed Dehaka, and he lets out an exasperated sigh.
"And here I was hoping for a pleasant stroll through this unknown wilderness..."
He summons an illusory copy of Steppenwolf behind Dehaka, hoping to distract him.
"You head will make a fine trophy for Lord Darkseid, beast!"
Dehaka nonchalantly raises his tail, which stabs at the illusion.
"A nuisance," he says, glaring at Loki and Ika. However, he continues to tunnel-vision on Mikhail, rushing with a series of surprisingly fast claw swipes.

Interesting... Those people that build that spears were very intelligent and prepared, indeed.
So, if there isn't dragons anymore, that means that the tresaure isn't protected... Or maybe...
In this moment, the spears began to crumble! It's a landslide! The musicians and the captain, yet tired, dashed towards a safe place.
The island hates us or what!?
Three freaking ghosts!Talion somersaulted backward, landing on the ground below, far enough away that the landslide wouldn't harm him.
"Live mountains you say? Like giants?"
He looked up at the mountain briefly, a contemplating gaze underneath his helmet. Talion sheathes his blade,
"I am Talion, and who might the rest of you be?"
Now that's bad! Mikhail swiftly dodges the first slash with nonchalant grace... before another comes, which he, again dodges. Yet, with each cut, he finds himself closer and closer to being hit, rapidly tiring out before, finally, one connects, cutting deep into his side. It bleeds red blood and blue ether.
Mikhail inhales sharply before retaliating, swinging one of his fans at Dehaka, unleashing a shower of razor-sharp black feathers that launch towards them at very high speeds.
"If you think I'm going down that easily, well, I've got something left in me."
Yatta!... As you onc did for the vacuous Rom. Grant us eyes, grant us eyes, plant eyes in our brains, to cleanse our beastly idiocy. Micolash, half-singing, half-muttering to himself, go deeper into the forest, uncaring of the fight.

"Aaah, that makes things a bit more interesting — whatever this creature is, exactly, dragon or not, it may have made the structure its roost. Hell of a set of signs it's left though..."
Megan passed her hands above the surfaces, trying to feel if her wyrmhide arm-wrappings grew hot. She had had them, and some other pieces of gear, imbued with alchemical properties some time ago to help give her a stronger edge without having draconic properties, but she had been unable to test many of the properties until now. In this case, her various body-wrappings possessed a mild form of dangersense, growing warm in the presence of unseen dangers.
Likewise, her boots of heavy, strong drake-hide possessed an unusual quality. She rotated onto her heels, causing steel-hard claws to sprout from behind hidden slits within the boots, and granting her greatly increased tractions. She might have even been able to run up walls to some extent, with the right approach.
Her coat possessed very few changes — it was still the very same shimmering blue coat of wyvern hide that she had worn when she had come to the arena — strong, lightweight, resilient, easy-to-repair, and resistant to the negative side-effects of alchemy gone awry. It flowed in the wind, looking almost like a pair of furled-up wings from one angle.
She also carried a small, spherical device on her belt, secured by a few chains and straps. It seemed to be made of wood, brass, and some other nondescript, neutral metals, and possessed a few hinges, as well as many curious patterns made from the metals around it. She unhooked it, and flipped open a hatch to peer inside — revealing a strange set of clockwork contraptions that seemed to be moving a number of disc-shaped crystalline vials filled with different-colored reactive fluids around. None seemed to settle to the surface just yet, and so Megan returned the device to it's restraints.
"My tracker isn't spitting back anything yet — it may be hiding itself extraordinarily well, or we may not be in range of the creature itself yet. These things can be a bit finicky some days."
As far as her potions went, she was carrying a double-dosage of extra healing, one mana potion, a Nihil Spawn Mutator, and a strange vial that seemed to be full of... gravel and moss? It seemed to be a fluid, more confusingly. Perhaps it was another Infusion potion, like Hellfire Soul.
Aside from that? Just her sword, revolver, slinger, and lots of her standard bullets. Nothing too fancy there, but still very much a comfortable loadout.
"Let's keep our wits about us, gentlemen."
Whiterun
"I mean..."
Amara raised one arm and flexed, causing her chain armor and the clothing she wore above it to shift in accordance with the considerable musculature beneath it.
"I'd say I'm decently strong, though I've still got a long way to go — and I'm happy to journey alongside Phalanx no matter how strong or weak we may be. As for a measure of how strong..."
Amara thought for a bit, and mumbled slightly.
"There was that one Team Iconoclast grunt that I got so angry at that I... I think I might've warped space somehow and just chopped him clean in half. That or his armor was really shitty... Poor bastard. Oh, my team and I fought against the Regi Trio, one at a time, and we beat each one of them — even though Regice nearly took one of us out of commission. Had to break em down and put em back together to clear some kind of... corruption."
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousLoners Group
She seems to calm down when it becomes clear that the monster is... only attacking that one specific guy. What gives? Good for her, I guess?
Ika takes a deep breath, temporarily increasing her mass to that of a small whale before trying to slammo Dehaka with a sudden burst of tentacled fury.
DNP!Gohan
"Okay... I can tell you're pretty tough - at least for wherever you're from... but I only get the picture relative to the other guys you've fought. That doesn't tell me much about... your actual strength?"
He struggles to think of a good question. Time in the far less power-leveled Pokémon world has gotten him better at this, but it's still hard to contextualize his strength compared to muggles or in relation to pure numbers.
"Like... er, how many cubic miles of rock," he says, avoiding the word 'planet', "could one of you guys pulverize? Full strength, one melee attack."

/\。。/\"Name's Eryn, and I..."
Eryn's suspicions seem to be confirmed when, after the party lands on the ground, the entire top half of a mountain sloughs off and comes crashing down at them.
C'mon, Eryn, quick! You spend so much time out in nature! You need to think like nature!
Wait... that doesn't make sense. Screw it, I'll do it anyway!
Instead of continuing to run, she lowers herself to her knees.
Both of the other groups are startled by a tremendously loud crash from far off in the distance.
Temple Ruins
"Not necessarily," Lupin replies to Marcia. "This temple looks pretty well abandoned to me."
The shaking causes a number of trees to collapse, exposing more ruins beyond them.
"No idea what that was about, but lucky us. Ancient treasure, here I come!" Lupin heads on forward.
"As usual, Lupin's brain is centered in his pants," Goemon snarks, but he follows along, cutting through the wreckage with Zantetsuken to clear a straight path.
Along the way, if Megan is keeping her eyes peeled, she'll see craters, deformations in the ground, and broken structures - signs of a fight of some kind.
Wilderness
Dehaka is battered by the attacks, but as soon as the earthquake presents an opening, he takes the opportunity to retreat, burrowing into the ground.
Matthew shudders for a solid few seconds after. "... It has a chameleon-like tongue, it regenerates from injuries, and it gains power from eating living things, which is probably why it kept attacking that one guy - it wanted his powers, whatever they are. We're under orders to move to the heart of the island... but it got Dot..."
Kyra uses her sword as a spade and buries the destroyed android. "Rest, friend."
"I... I don't want to give up now. Even if that thing comes back, I'd look like a coward if I didn't press on!"
"There's no punishment or shame in a pragmatic escape."
"There is to me, damn it." Matthew turns and points towards the center of the island. "We're not making our efforts thus far pointless."
Mountains
Eryn and the rest of the group... are completely unharmed. The landslide missed them entirely.
"Phew." She wipes sweat off her brow. "Who'd think accepting it would be enough?"
"Based on my experience with various supernatural forces, I'd wager it thinks we're a threat and wanted to ensure we knew who was boss around here. So if we just calm down and let it do what it wants, it'll let us by."
"I hope."

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Mikhail takes a look at his injury.
...It's pretty awful, it's fortunate that he heals faster than a normal person, but that's not something he can just leave sit and hope it all goes well.
He's going to have to do something he has dreaded from the moment he knew he was in danger... Ask for help.
"Hey, fellows, I don't mean to bother any of you, but does anyone happen to know how to patch a wound. I'd really rather not do it myself."
Despite the pain he is in, he moves dramatically in time with his words.

"Heh. If there are any natives, they're about to be a bit less rich."
He follows along, eyes out for anything to shoot.
"You got a tracker for treasure? Or just dragons?"

Ika gulps when it's stated that the monster killed someone, albeit an android. Not cool, monster dude. She crash off in the distance makes her jump.
She also gulps when Mikhail asks for help.
"A-ah... would you like a band-aid? ... De-geso."
She starts to shuffle forwards, on her guard.

Well, and what do want the island? To kill us?
Belén thinks a moment.
Can be a good idea. We can fake out our death for the island, so it can leave us alone.
But we must reach the tresaure, before that thief do it.
But we must rest a while, too. What do you think? He asks to Talion.
Three freaking ghosts!

Loki can't help but chuckle when Matthew panics.
"Good day to you, too. Rest assured, I'm only here to see if this island possesses anything of interest," he says, raising an eyebrow when Micolash seemingly lashes out thin air. "Though I suspect the local fauna, if there are any, might have something to say about that."
His gaze flickers to Kyra.
"Since you and your friend seem a little on-edge, I'll keep the introductions swift. Hi, I'm Loki. I'm assuming you've heard all about me and my brother, Thor."
