Watching as Pilly climbs up to the training room's ceiling, Nicole's face splits into a grin, and she unleashes an Arcane Beam at her in a sweeping arc.

"That answer your question?" she asks. "If you've really seen my fights, kid, you should've known that was coming from a mile away!"

"I thought you'd never ask. You see, I was hoping we could discuss one Ken Tahn," Loki replies. "Specifically, I'd like to know why he's still your prisoner. I know you claimed that you would contact his realm's authorities, yet he remains incarcerated here."

He walks over to Pseudo's side, still twirling his dagger.

"Galeem and Dharkon did force us to put certain plans on hold, but it's been quite some time since their downfall. With the technology and resources at your disposal, I imagine it would be a simple matter of pressing a button or commanding Botar to pay these authorities an unexpected visit. So tell me, Pseudo, why the Hel are you still keeping Tahn locked up?"

"Strong, brave, charming, feisty, great at drinking and fighting... it's a bloody shame that we never got to know each other sooner," Thor says, smirking back at Linda. "But I'm grateful that we've been able to nonetheless."

Rising from his chair, he summons Mjolnir and Stormbringer to his hands.

"Now then, let's find ourselves a training room. I'll give you a premature apology in case I end up damaging your fancy new arm by accident."

Chuckling, he motions for her to follow him and walks off to the training rooms.

GE!Oca

His face is definitely bashed in, but the leg sticks in and dissolves back onto his body, rushing back to the leg spot like flowing sand.

The lightning does take up some attention, but he pushes past it and fires a wave of blue flame from his fingertips.

Well, this MissingNo. certainly isn't unstoppable with a Defense stat of literally 0. Its HP immediately drops to 0, only hanging on thanks to its Focus Sash.

MissingNo. used An Attack! A strong, BP 120 STAB attack with no other fancy effects that should hit for neutral damage.

"Oh, but I did~"

Pilly's smirk remains as she quickly crawls further across the ceiling, at first looking like she's trying to avoid the sweeping beam.

However, once she's above Nicole, she suddenly uses her Ultra Defense, turning into solid metal and, due to the wait, dropping down towards Nicole in an attempt to deal a powerful, heavy blow towards her.

In this defensive state, she can't be hurt (but can't move on her own either), so the beam, once it hits her, doesn't do anything.

Pseudo tilts his head.

"Well, we haven't located his home world yet, so we haven't been able to contact said authorities.", he says. "That's honestly the only reason we're still keeping him here. Ken Tahn hasn't exactly been too willing to give us any hints about his world, so we're left to search blindly through untold numbers of worlds. The only thing we know for sure is that he's from an Earth, but we don't know which one."

"Now don't get too good an opinion on me, I'm no saint of a person either.", Linda chuckles as she starts to walk alongside him. She then shrugs nonchalantly.

"Eh, if it gets damaged G.E.M. will make me a new one. The materials used to make these aren't good for rebuilding the city itself anyway, so we're not sacrificing valuable resources."

Due to the drop in defensive power from Superpower, Haxorus gets hit by Missingno.'s attack. It still hangs on, but only barely. Which one of them will end up winning this fight will depend on who hits their next attack first.

"Dragon Claw!", Jessie calls out, and the tired Haxorus runs towards Missingno. again, attempting to strike with its claws.

"I've evened out the signal again.", James mutters as the device finally stops beeping.

"Protect yourself!"

MissingNo. covers itself with Glitch Shield - a glitchy-looking clone of Spiky Shield.

Haxorus hits the Glitch Shield... and ends up fainting because it takes damage, seeing as Glitch Shield has Spiky Shield's properties, and as such causes damage to the attacker when the move it blocked was a physical one.

"..."

"Well, that was kinda anticlimactic.", Meowth mutters as the four of them look at one another.

"Wobbu."

"What do we do now? Send out our own Pokemon or forfeit?", James asks Jessie.

"I could send out Mimikyu...", Jessie says as she recalls Haxorus.

"But won't it get angry if the kid sends out his Pikachu again?"

"That's true..."

"The Prize Master won't give us more than two at a time either."

"Well, there is one other thing we can try."

"Whassat?"

Jessie and James suddenly smirk before grabbing onto Meowth and pushing him onto the battlefield.

"W-w-w-w-wait! Me!? Against that Glitch Pokemon!?", he stammers, panicked.

"No worries, it's probably nearly out of power. Just get a quick hit in!"

"We're rooting for you, Meowth!"

"I'll get you two back for this, ya hear!?", Meowth comically protests.

"Don't you two have like... an Arbok and Weezing? ... Or that Wobbuffet?"

MissingNo. immediately looks onto Meowth, and surges forwards to pound him into the ground with An Attack.

   "Beep!"   

"Well, we sort of want to keep those in the back.", Jessie sheepishly says.

"In case we run into something dangerous, you know?", James says, just as sheepish.

Meanwhile, Meowth, ever so cowardly, avoids the attack by immediately running to the side.

"Er... ah, I know!"

His claws grow, coated in dark energy, and he suddenly turns on his heels and lunges for Missingno, trying to attack it.

"Night Slash!", he calls out.

"Holy sh-!"

Thinking fast, Nicole rolls out of the way just in time to avoid being flattened by Pilly.

"Whatever move she just busted out, it kinda reminds me of that armor thing the dude with the ponytail used back when we fought Troa."

She coats her fists with Arcane Magic, throws a series of punches at the Chimera, and caps off her onslaught with a final kick.

"Ah, that's fair enough. Truth be told, though, I was beginning to wonder if you had some kind of ulterior motive in mind for him." Loki admits. "Suffice it to say, I'm pleased to hear that I was mistaken."

He tosses the dagger into the air and catches it.

"However, keeping him here does seem... risky. Speaking from personal experience, certain prisoners can be just as dangerous within a cell as they are outside of one," he says. "Who's to say that Tahn won't figure out how to sabotage you from within as retribution for his lengthy imprisonment? I don't doubt that he's clever and resourceful enough to accomplish such a feat."

"Do you recall what I told you aboard the space station, Linda? My friends include twins who once served a megalomaniacal robot and a spy with plenty of red in her ledger," Thor replies, offering Linda a good-natured smirk. "To say nothing about my once-treacherous brother and his attempts to seize Asgard's throne. I suspect you'll be fine."

Once the pair come across an empty training room, he heads through the entrance and takes a good look around.

"It may not be Cinke's virtual reality training room, but it'll do nicely all the same."

MissingNo., having just used another move, is back in a position where Glitch Shield doesn't have an increased fail rate.

So it uses it again.

With Pilly remaining in her Ultra Defense state, Nicole's attacks don't do any damage despite their strength.

However, right after Nicole's done attacking, Pilly turns back to normal and, opening up her hands, launches a barrage of Ki Blasts at Nicole, having copied them from Fu.

"I won't lie, if I had something in mind for him I might have likely at least tried to convince him, seeing as he was quite helpful during the infiltration, though considering that he's still angry with me for not bringing him to that final Cyber Angel fight, I doubt he'd agree to anything now. Regardless, even with that tracking bracelet, trusting him is taking a big risk. One I took back then because we desperately needed intel."

He turns to Loki.

"I understand your worries, but even if he somehow gets out of his cell without us knowing, there is nothing he can really sabotage. The hallways down here are long, dark and run deep, and all of our computers work with passwords. Three wrong attempts will trigger the alarm. So even if he somehow has a knack for computers, I'll be shocked if he manages to do anything with them."

He raises his eyebrow.

"Despite that, I am not going to take your words as empty ones. What would you suggest the alternative would be to keeping him here until we find his world?"

"I guess I'll see if that holds true once I tell you a little more about myself.", she teasingly says.

She too then enters the training room.

"Less techno-style than G.E.M.'s testing rooms, but it looks just as sturdy. Looks perfect.", she says, satisfied with their choice.

Meowth hits the Glitchy Shield and yelps.

"OUCH! What kinda-dat hurt!"

Angry, he grabs a pebble that's on the ground and throws it at Missingno., basically going for a makeshift Rock Throw.

She frowns and immediately overpower his blast with her own, adding more power to it;

Spreading her dragon wings, Nicole raises them in front of herself to act as a shield from the volley of Ki Blasts. Despite this, however, she's still driven back towards the closest wall.

"Heh... If I didn't know any better, kid, I'd say you're trying to make me go Draconic!"

After taking a moment to recover, she takes to the air, swoops towards Pilly like a falcon descending upon its prey, and attempts to deliver a diving kick with both feet.

Loki puts his dagger away.

"Why not leave him in the custody of that eccentric man with the eyepatch? Majima, was it? He seems to harbor a soft spot for the boy," he suggests, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "As unorthodox of a choice as he might be, I doubt letting him watch over Tahn will result in anything catastrophic happening."

"Heh, I suspect it will. Anyway, perhaps once G.E.M establishes their new base, you could show me these testing rooms," Thor says. "If they're anything like the virtual reality room I mentioned, I might consider your headquarters a contender for my favorite place to train."

Lodging Stormbringer in the ground, he sets Mjolnir down beside it before stripping off his shirt, revealing his famously muscular physique.

"Now, what say we finally put that arm of yours to the test?" he asks, taking up a fighting stance.

"Well, I can't really prove myself if I go easy on you.", Pilly says.

She then ends up getting hit by Nicole's diving kick and harshly hits the ground.

"Goro Majima is part of the Yakuza, the Japanese Mafia. I am not 100% sure if giving Ken Tahn to an older, more experienced criminal is a good idea. It might end up making him even more of a threat as a thief than he already is."

He sighs.

"Ken Tahn is, admittedly, fond of Majima. That much is clear from the footage of Majima's visits. Doing this might get us some goodwill from Tahn's side later, but I'm just not sure about the risk we might be taking.", he says, genuinely unsure.

"The testing rooms I'm speaking of are in the main headquarters back in our world unfortunately.", Linda says, and Thor might remember that the people not from G.E.M.'s world aren't supposed to be in said building, that the one time he was in there was an exception due to it being an emergency.

"I can always show you a picture of one later. I doubt they'll make a fuss about that."

She then grins.

"A nice view.", she says upon seeing Thor shirtless. "But it won't distract me from the fight."

Her left arm, as well as her legs, start making whirring noises for a moment as she gets ready. She continues to grin, but also winks teasingly.

"Bring it, burly boy."

VS a G.E.M. Soldier

MissingNo. immediately keels over from the 'rock throw'.

"You did great! Take a rest, MissingNo.!"

Internally: "... Meowth is probably second-to-none set-up fodder."

Pikachu was sent out!

Pikachu used Nasty Plot! Its Sp. Attack sharply rose!

"Ah, the Pikachu.", Meowth smirks. "Time for a game o' cat and mouse!"

He runs towards Pikachu, going for another claw attack.

"Fury Swipes!"

Pikachu growls at Meowth, after tanking the Fury Swipes.

"Pika!" "You're the prey here, cat."

Luckily for Meowth, this mouse does not have Static. That is, Meowth has no chance of being Paralyzed.

Oca adds a tiny bit more juice to his firepower, before morphing his behind into a rocket engine.

"Think fast!"

He blasts forwards through his own blast to try and headbutt Sarah.

Meowth just stares for a bit when his Fury Swipes did... well, nothing.

"... meowth."

He then shakes his head to snap himself out of it. No way is he going to back down to this Pikachu. It was probably a lucky fluke that his attack did nothing, Fury Swipes is weak, after all.

With that obvious delusion in mind, Meowth now goes for Slash instead, aiming to get a critical hit.

While very close, the dice of the gods roll just under what would be needed for a crit. Pikachu hangs on, albeit in the lower end of the HP scale.

It grins a decidedly unfriendly grin at Meowth.

Meowth looks more and more worried.

"Uh... well... you won't be left standing a second time!", he says in a clear panic, going for another Slash.

Sarah activaes Limit Breaker to catch Oca's headbutt with her bare hands, smiles, and try to blast him point blank with a very intense plasma blast!

"I'll take that as a 'yes'."

Landing back on the ground, Nicole waits for Pilly to get back on her feet.

"So, wanna tell me how you learned to fire those blasts, kid?" she inquires. "Unless you're secretly packing some serious heat like another girl I know, those lasers sure as hell didn't look like the kind you'd fire from any old gun. Or maybe I'm just shopping at the wrong laser gun stores."

"His criminal connections aside, Majima doesn't strike me as especially malicious. Eccentric, yes, but becoming a menace hardly seems to be among his priorities," Loki replies. "And as you said, placing Tahn in Majima's custody might earn us some goodwill from the lad."

He briefly glances at the monitor before turning back to Pseudo.

"Besides, you're almost as clever as me, Pseudo," he says, smirking in a good-natured manner. "Certainly, your mind can concoct a solution that would eliminate any potential risks from this idea."

Grinning right back at Linda, Thor returns her teasing wink.

"Heh, only because you asked so nicely, Lady Linda."

He then throws a few punches before following up with a front kick.

Oca is gotten point-blank and his face is scorched. He blinks through the soot.

"... Ow."

Then his face morphs into a big spike, and he renews his efforts to headbutt - er, now impale her. Though given that she went Limit Breaker, its probably even more futile.

Now Pikachu actually acts, and a la the anime, breaks turn order mechanics to try to punt Meowth to the ground with a Quick Attack before Slash can actually... slash him.

"Pikapika!"

It sorta is. Sarah tries to performs a lateral move with her arms, to form a cross of a sort in front of her, with the goal of smashing the drill.

I guess that we can end it here! She says. 'Less you want to keep it going?

"I copied them.", Pilly says without getting up. "Me and my brother can copy techniques we see other people use. But I've got some tricks of my own up my sleeve as well."

She grins.

"Like this one."

The spikes on her spider legs then open up, suddenly revealing small thrusters that immediately activate. She angles them sideways, causing herself to start spinning in place.

She then activates her lightning barrier. The lightning reacts to the fast spinning and gets launched all around her, and thus also at Nicole.

"... perhaps. I'm not in much of a state to ponder that matter over now, but if I start feeling better at some point, I will give your idea some deep thought.", Pseudo says.

Linda raises one knee and lowers both her arms, making her limbs function as a makeshift shield against Thor's attacks. A small metal plate slides over her organic arm to protect it.

Of course, while the damage from his attacks is blocked, standing on one foot will still give one an unstable stance. As such, when Thor's kick connects she's sent back a good bit, quickly putting her other foot back down to prevent herself from falling over.

She then suddenly leaps up, and Thor may be surprised by her acrobatics, as her movement is swift and agile. Maybe it's an effect of her mechanical legs, but she's right above him in nearly an instant.

In the brief moment that she's above him, she angles her feet down, the backside of her boots opening up to suddenly unleash a burst of flames.

Regardless of the effect of the flames on Thor, the burst will also send Linda higher up into the room, and she'll then immediately try to follow up on her previous attack with a fast downwards divekick.

By the will of slapstick, a will that tends to haunt Team Rocket a lot, Meowth is easily punted down and falls flat on his face.

"Ow, my nonexistent nose...", he mutters.

Hub Centralis

Rat God◊ is floating through the city.

"Now, how exactly am I gonna rough up those two punks? If I go all-out right away, I won't have any surprises to catch them with later..."

She looks around in anxiety and puzzlement, and spots a roaming Wick the Bob-Omb.

Now there's an idea...
