Amara pat Phalanx gently as she thought, exchanging a look with the Chikorita as she contemplated Gohan's words, before she allowed them to hop down and get to know the eevee a bit better. Phalanx seemed gentle, but very friendly — though, he also had a certain air of caution about him.

"I don't know of many others, at least from my own realm, who have trained alongside pokemon... it seems to be a bit of a rarer occurrence. Not impossible, of course, but... Well, Phalanx and I feel more like companions than anything else."

College of Winterhold

Megan slid into the Arcaneum before her brain processed what the hell had just happened. The moment she did, however, she did a Double Take and then, in a single, brutally efficient motion, drew forth her gun and sword, and leveled them both at Lupin.

"Hand that book back," she said, her voice as cold as the raging winds outside. "Now."

Thundercloud Temple

   "Ah, right, the elementals in your world are probably very different from the ones in mine. They're more... semiconscious hiveminds, soul-aggregates of mages who pushed their limit too hard and too far with a specific field of—"   

Nyr stopped himself when Phosphora recoiled from the eye. He picked it up, and held it for a moment...

   "Are you alright?"   

After a moment, he waited for her response, before he decided to gaze into the Eye as she had, to see what she had seen. Was this thing more alive than they had predicted...?

"And I'm just as happy~", Iris says. She then yawns a little before showing an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, I've been a little tired lately. I was planning on taking a nap after we found you, so I can't stay around this time."

Pilly looks at Loki for a moment, then at Nicole.

"Really? You'll spar with me? Thank you! I'm gonna call Botar right away!"

She quickly grabs a phone and starts calling.

Floating City

Team Rocket◊ is walking around, with James holding the device that's picking up the energy they'd been tracking.

"Have we gotten any closer since we got here?", Jessie whines, a little moody.

"The signal's been getting stronger the last few days, so we must be making some progress.", James says.

"Well, I hope dat whatever's responsible for this is gonna stop making us go on a wild goosechase soon.", Meowth mutters, laying on Wobbuffet's head.

"Wobbu..."

Leblanc, Hub Centralis

Gorochu◊ walks through the doors, glancing around with suspicion in its eyes. Cara◊ walks in after it.

"Sorry about this. I know you don't like places like this, but I'm really thirsty and this is the closest pub."

"Gorooooo...", it groans, rollings its eyes but accepting it. It wouldn't take long for her to finish one drink.

GE!Oca

Sarah grabs his foot, all right, but he keeps twisting around, leg and all, until he's facing just the right way. Looks like someone doesn't really care for bones.

This doesn't stop the kick from landing, but he does latch onto her leg, more than likely taking her along for the ride.

Rocky wags his tail and chirps happily. Not a ton of little Pokémon for him to make friends with here, so meeting a new one is nice!

"Huh, yeah, I think I get it. I have a Psyduck that I've been trying to teach an energy wave attack. He's not a great martial artist though, even if he is all right in 'Pokémon battles'."

Red and Pikachu are around a corner, being around. Pika-pika notices a certain group of ne'er-do-wells with its pika-senses.

"Pika!"

The rat jumps out of his owner's arms, and before he can catch it dashes around the corner to get a look at Team Rocket.

Beet is blasted into an island and get blown the fuck up.

W-AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! She yells, before the explosion happens. BLAMNG!

Well, no! She is standing actually, though she's Limp and Livid, and her silhouette is just barely emerging out of all that smoke! Plus, she's wholly silent...

...

Ohhhhhhh Sarah gets dragged along but look at the scenery instead of doing anything useful. However, she does attempts to drag GE!Oca at her by pulling her leg backwards. At which point, she tries to punch him over the torso and face, repeatedly, and with such speed that the water droplets around are vaporized.

atchatahchahhchahchhahchahchahchhahcahchahchahchahchahcha She mutters, every 1000 punches. So she say it all during the second or two of mad dash.

Lupin chuckles. He pores through the notes on Megan's visions, then casually closes and pockets it.

"This is all very interesting... I could make a lot of money if I made whatever this is for myself. If you want the rights to it back..."

The hum from his pocket suddenly raises in pitch and volume, and he floats out the window. "I expect cash. Toodles!"

It's at this point Megan should realize the pressure she felt was the essence of thievery. This man is an absolute snatcher.

And there's one place in Skyrim where thieves are known to hang out...

Vein-like cracks seep into Nyr's peripheral vision. Everything around him seems to be on fire, and/or melting. A ceaseless roar is audible, like some sort of ringing in his ears.

If he looks at Phosphora through the eye, he'll see a corpse too mangled and rotten to be put to an exact description.

"... Too much?"

Callis powers back down to base form and dashes away, waiting for an opening to capitalize on.

Leblanc

Kikio is in there, playing with a female Pikachu with a black-tipped tail.◊

She seems a bit too distracted to notice Cara and Gorochu. And by 'distracted' I mean obsessively baby-talking to the Pikachu.

Thor offers Iris a reassuring smile.

"I understand. But perhaps once you're rested and well-refreshed, we can meet up again later."

While Pilly calls up Botar, Nicole's gaze flickers to Loki.

"Speaking of that Botar dude, do you ever get used to him just... popping in outta nowhere?" she inquires.

The half-Jotun trickster shakes his head.

"You would think so, lass, but... no, not really. There's no real way to brace yourself for when he suddenly warps through time and space."

"Yeah, that sounds good!", Iris happily says.

Then, as if the universe somehow let Botar know what Loki and Nicole were talking about, he◊ pops in right behind them.

"Hello."

Team Rocket, still walking, stop in place when suddenly a Pikachu appears before them from behind the corner of the street, all of them blinking silently for a moment before speaking up.

"... Huh?"

"... Huh?"

"... Huh?"

"... Wo?"

And then it sinks in.

"What? A Pikachu?"

"Jess, you don't think that's..."

"No way did dat twerp catch on to what we've been doing!"

Wobbuffet shakes its head.

"Wobbu."

"Wha? You say this could be any regular Pikachu?"

"Well, I suppose that's true, but..."

"If that's the case, what's it doing here?"

Gorochu catches a glimpse at Kikio and seems annoyed at the way she's talking to her Pikachu. Gorochu doesn't interject though, figuring it's not any of its business.

Once Cara's seated and orders some water though, it glances back at Kikio, one eyebrow raised. Does that Pikachu really enjoy being talked to like that, it wonders.

Moreso curious about the Pikachu than Kikio, Gorochu begins to approach the pair, stopping near them and taking a good look at her Pikachu.

Before Callis can dash away... BAM! Beet dash past her. She doesn't even use any manner of teleportation. One second she vibing, the other she's still vibing, just past Callis.

A thin white line accompany her blitz. If it hit Callis, she'll gain a bloody little cut on her right cheek, which accompany an absolutely massive movement below, the water churning forth like it's just been blown away from the island Beet was on.

Reprium

A Savage Deviljho◊ upsets the natural calm of the forest, the beaten and battered monster tearing through the trees and out into an open meadow.

The beast was missing its tail, deep gashes across its body. It barreled forward, struggling to keep balance. The Deviljho swung its head, reeling from an injury to its face. On the right side of its face, a hunter◊ is stabbing the beast with a clutch claw. Anyone close enough to the action would hear a loud series of expletives exiting from the man, shortly before the beast thrashed around hard enough to throw him off.

It didn't take him long to stand back up, moving his long sword into an iaido stance. The Deviljho took a brief moment to unleash an ear-splitting roar, before rushing the hunter head-on.

He stayed stern in his stance, waiting for the beast to draw near. The Deviljho dived its head toward the hunter, and in little more than a second or two, the hunter had drawn his blade and dashed forward with a wide slash.

He was completely untouched by the attack of the beast, and a moment later it fell slain. The hunter sheathed his blade, slowly sitting down on the grassy fields, his back leaned against a large boulder.

Astil

Zombie has joined the game

A peculiarly blocky◊ zombie appeared out of nowhere in the drab swamp, taking in its surroundings. It moaned deeply, walking forward in a strangely human-like manner.

The Pikachu is currently feasting on a Giratina cookie, looking more content than you could imagine.

   "I wuv you lady sparklessssss"   

17 Perception roll

   "OH! IT YOU!!!! Want a cookie?"    Kikio offers one to Gorochu.

GE!Oca

That is a lot of punches. So many, in fact, that Oca's body just sort of mushes the way a sandcastle would under that barrage.

"Mmhsmhhmmshmhmhmh!"

After a few moments, his momentum snaps to a halt and his body fires an omnidirectional laser pulse, before his entire upper body comes to slam down on Sarah as a Generator Rex-style power fist.

Red runs around the corner a second later, and grabs Pikachu. He signs furiously as he tries to commit ASL and handle his Pokémon at the same time.

"Sorry! I don't know what got into him! He's not normally..."

He blinks as he really looks at them.

"... Team Rocket?"

"Excellent! Until such time, however, sleep well and have pleasant dreams," Thor says, clapping Iris on the shoulder.

Jumping in surprise, Nicole and Loki simultaneously wheel around to face the newly arrived Botar.

"Jesus, dude! It's a friggin' miracle I didn't have a heart attack or something..."

"Okay, now I'm almost certain that you're doing this on purpose."

"Thanks!", Iris says, though then looks at Botar as well when he pops up. Botar, meanwhile, is slightly smirking as he looks down at Loki and Nicole.

"You cannot prove that I am.", he jokingly says. Botar, making a joke. It's a rarity for the ages.

"So, Nicole, are you ready to come with us? And the three of you, are you coming too?", Botar then asks everyone else.

"Not me, big metal guy.", Iris says.

"Very well. Do note that, if you ever want to come into the base with us, you'll have to go through a scanning hallway just in case, seeing as you have not been in our base before."

"Sure sure, alright.", Iris says, then looks back at Thor.

"I'll see you later then!"

Team Rocket stare for a moment when they see Red use sign language.

"Ah, well, that's alright. He didn't bother-", James begins to say, apparently able to understand sign language, but then pauses after Red seems to recognize them. Jessie, James and Meowth start to look a little suspicious of Red.

"Hold on... I can't tell why, but..."

"... something about you..."

"... looks familiar."

Wobbuffet is the only one who doesn't comment on that, looking more confused than anything else.

"And you know us too..."

"Have we met before?"

While Gorochu looks intrigued by the cookie due to the Pikachu's enjoyment of it, it immediately turns away once Kikio offers it one, looking grumpy.

"Go! Goro!"

Sarah is blown away by the beam but reduce the damage by crossing her arms. She shake off the flash, and look up just in time to widen her eyes at the power fist. ... Huh.

He slams it down on her, but she manages to raise her arms to stop it, though she visibly strains to do so and grit her teeth. After some ado, she opens her mouth and tries to blast him with a Mouth Beam.

Reprium

Another Hunter runs up to the monster-slayer, appearing out of nowhere without as much as a sound or visual clue.

They stand up to them, and then make a L-pose with their arms.

GE!Oca

The mouth beam almost hits him in the 'torso', but he crosses his own normal-sized arms to tank the damage. It pushes him back a bit, though - no ground to brace yourself against .

"MUDA!"

His giant fist that was also his face sprouts several smaller fists before the start to rapidly punch down at her. Whilst the big one is still pushing, of course.

Pikachu climbs up on to his shoulder. He gives them a good look over.

"No, I don't think so."

"I've seen you guys in videos before. Your motto is pretty cool!"

Callis is scarred. "A"

She resumes what she was doing before - defending herself. She knows that trying to attack would just be begging to get countered.

   "Really? Awwww..."   

Kikio turns away and sulks.

Lady Sparkles frowns and jabs Gorochu. You hurt Mommy's feelings. Stop it.

"well if im not joining anytime soon then why am i here?"

she sounded more curious than sassy

"its a bit weird to have someone whos not supposed ot be here already here"

Thor answers Botar with a nod.

"I only need but a moment first."

Turning back to Iris, he gives her a quick hug.

"Farewell for now, Iris. May you dream of... whatever the Hel it is you enjoy dreaming about the most."

Loki raises an eyebrow at Botar.

"Did you actually just... tell a joke, Botar? Oh dear, I fear Ragnarok may already be upon us," he remarks. "And to answer your question, yes, I do intend to accompany you back. I was actually hoping to speak with Pseudo, provided he's in the mood for conversation."

Nicole reaches out to tousle Pilly's hair.

"Well, I'm ready to go whenever this little sweetheart is," she says.

Iris gleefully hugs him back.

"Here is to hoping~", she says. Once they stop hugging, she flies off, waving back at the group.

"Byeee! Thanks for helping me!", Pilly yells as she waves back, after which she giggles as her hair gets tousled.

"Botar! Nicole's gonna spar with me!", she happily says.

"Oh? Well, as long as you don't transform into a dragon, that should be fine.", Botar says to Nicole. "Not for safety reasons, but the training rooms aren't big enough for a dragon to move freely in."

He then looks at Loki and, strangely, there's the slightest hint of reluctance in Botar's eyes, if only for a moment.

"I... will check with him once we are inside. Do not get your hopes up though."

With that rather cryptic sentence, coupled with a tone of reluctance that's really not like Botar at all, his head begins to glow, after which he warps the group into the main monitor room. Axonn◊ is working the monitors (having a bit of trouble with his large hands), deeply into his work and not even noticing them. May be best not to disturb him too much.

The trio pauses again, but then look a little full of themselves.

"Ah, so you're a fan!"

"Maybe we just happened to see you once before and that's why you look familiar."

"Regardless, ya got good taste, kid. Maybe we can do our motto for you live if ya want."

"So, what's your name?"

Gorochu looks down at Lady Sparkles when it gets jabbed, looking annoyed again at first. It flicks its tail (though not at Lady Sparkles, it's not attacking her), then crosses its tiny nub arms as best as it can as it turns back to Lady Sparkles, looking her over.

"Goro, Goro?"

While even for a Pikachu it'll be a little difficult to understand Gorochu, Lady Sparkles should be able to make out 'What do you mean, 'mommy'?'

Lady Sparkles is downright upset now. SHE's mommy! Mommy gives me tasty food and heals me when I'm hurt!

Kikio is whining like a puppy, hanging her head over the counter.

The monster hunter, named Aziel looks up at the hunter. He spoke in a soft deep tone, a rumble in his throat.

"You're a strange one, but from the look of you we share a common way of life."

Aziel stood, being of tall height and a very stocky build. He looked the hunter up and down briefly,

"Interesting choice in clothing. What'd you make it from?"

She doesn't really need to. Immediately after that single strike, Beet stand up and fall down, her -Sign- turning off nigh-instantly.

Unless stopped, she'll crash into the sea and will sink like a stone.

...

Sarah raise her legs and begins to counter each punch with a series of potent knee strikes. However, his pace eventually surpass hers, and she start to get hit more than she begins to counter! That, and his strength start to wear her down....

Until she teleports behind him, counting on his momentum screwing him over, and PUNCH at his back with great force, a lightning bolt trying to strike him in sync with her punch. If hit, he'll be sent looping around the planet entirely, setting him up for Sarah's second strike, an uppercut blow that will hurl him alll the way to the planet's orbit, even if he'll stay in survival range for a Saiyan.

Sarah smirks, pleased with the fight, and wipe some blood away from her lips. She briefly contemplate the smear on her finger before just wiping it away.

...

Coz you can prove yourself, duh.

...

There's brief silence.

...... I earned it from the corpse of a slain foe.

They almost instantly realize the awkwardness of such a statement. .... What about yours?

Their voice is muffled. Impossible to know what they really sounds like.

Callis catches Beet by the wrist and gently helps her down to Akordion.

"You saw that too, right? I didn't briefly trip out?"

After Thor waves a final goodbye to the departing Iris, he's summarily warped to the base along with Loki and Nicole.

Upon arrival, Nicole fixes Pilly with an odd look.

"As much as I've kinda always wanted to, I don't actually turn into a full-on dragon," she says. "I mean, you've seen me transform before, right?"

Loki raises an eyebrow at Botar.

"I beg your pardon? Surely, he couldn't have gotten worse than when I last met with him."

Thor, meanwhile, casts a brief glance at Axonn before making his way down the nearest hallway.

"wellll my quirk is called transform, i can turn into people, as long as i drink some of their blood. the more i ingest the longer the duration, one cup is one day"

she decded to be upfront

"so does anyone want to volunteer to be stabbed"
