Defense, now monitoring the situation from atop the random-ass shack he's on, immediately sours his expression upon the words "lamp" and "oil" being said next to each other.

He pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs loudly.

Defense: "I gotta stop this before he manages to leave the shop. I went out here to get some peace, not some-"

"Lamp oil?"

Defense: "DAMMIT!"

ENA 3 claps once at the revelation of lamp oil.

"How splendid! Of course, lamp oil is fundamental! I should have thought to look within!"

"Hello Moony! What is your opinion on this mirror?" he says, pointing to Box Alien.

"Well..." Susamaru starts, and suddenly interrupts herself. "...I just realized, we never got your name..."

"Ah! We haven't even been formally introduced! Please forgive us for this awful breach of etiquette," Yahaba exclaims. "I am Yahaba, Upper Kizuki Rank Four, also known as the Demon of Arrows, for my ability to project arrow-like streams of pure force, and my friend and companion is Susamaru, Upper Kizuki Rank Three-" Susamaru winks with a mischievous grin upon the acknowledgement of her higher rank, "-also known as the Temari Demon for her slightly... unorthodox skillset."

Susamaru produces a happily jingling colorful orb out of her blood magic. "I like using them to play a little game called 'Ball Meets Body'! Rules are simple - the one with the most bones in their body left unbroken wins! And I never lose~"

DORYOKU, MIRAI, A BEAUTIFUL STAR

   "I see... you are certainly unique..."   

Rui turns away.

   "My name is Rui. I was Lower Kizuki Rank Five, and I am associated with spiders and their webs."   

Since he knows now that they aren't as quick to offend as other demons, he demonstrates by splitting the temari Susamaru created with a near-invisible line of silk.    "I also had the ability to alter the appearances and abilities of lesser demons. I used this to try and create a family, which I ruled not through love but through fear. It was a sham."   

   "Susamaru... Yahaba... you have a true bond, don't you? That's a rare trait."   

   "I would... like to be part of it..."

"Spiders, eh? No wonder you took a liking to that big girl over there, then, Susamaru says, then perks up as she sees Rui split her orb. "Maybe we could play together later for fun and training! Don't worry, I'll go a little easy on you~ I used to play with Yaha, but he's not fun at all. He just picks up all my temari with his arrows and launches them right back at me. Owie..."

This time, it's Yahaba's turn to spot a mischievous grin. "Oh, then what was that about you never losing, then~"

"You shush! It's not losing when the other person's cheating, you know..!"

This is where most demon arguments would probably have devolved into a horrific bloody fight with both parties tearing each other to bits to prove their strength. But despite their bickering, there seems to be no real hostility between Susamaru and Yahaba.

"F-family..? You mean... you can... you want to be my little brother?" With shining eyes and an ecstatic expression, Susamaru takes Rui in her arms and lifts him up like he was as light as a feather. "Yaha, look! I have a little brother! We can have all sorts of fun together while you grumble at us to take things seriously, just like a dad~"

Rui is caught off-guard by being suddenly picked up.

   "... Yes. Exactly like that."    He smiles warmly.

Ahem. Not to be the actual grumpy dad, but can you please come back before sunrise...?

"He's gearing up for war."

Aleifr vs Sarah

Having already committed to the punch, Aleifr takes the slug to the face in response, mitigated somewhat by one of his Mage Hands putting up a Hard Light shield to break some of the incoming force. He rolls several times in the air before stopping himself with a flap of his wings, rubbing his cheek to nurse the bruise he just got while his gazed seems weirdly unfocused - recoil from the petrification beam, perhaps? As he slows for a moment, Sarah would be able to see that the damage he took from the first lightning strike has already been recovered.

He waits for Sarah's next move, and when she calls down a boosted lightning Kill Sat, then he uses his intangibility to nullify the attack's damage, followed by a Metatron inertial barrier to minimize the damage he actually takes from the uppercut while still sending him flying - not as high as a direct hit would, but still bursting through a cloud.

He seems distracted, and not just because of his recovering vision... wait, where are his Mage Hands?

Invisible, three quickly approaching from different directions in an attempt to apply a Brand of Unlife each. The fourth stays further away, pointing at her direction with a ray of intense microwaves to rapidly heat her body and cause pain. It doesn't actually burn her unless she stays in the spotlight for whatever reason, but it does make dodging more tricky.

As she follows up with a barrage in preparation for her next big attack, his gaze snaps back into focus, and he actually turns off his elemental speed boosts, seemingly to reduce the power strain... no, he's diverting it.    "Prismatic Spray!"    Multicolored light emanates from the barrels of his exhausts, before firing a barrage of small elemental blasts to match his opponent's. From the energy signatures and extrapolating from the Fire blasts in particular, it seems like he'd infused them with various status effects like the previous Purgatory Flames and intended to throw them at Sarah, but that thought didn't pan out.

He then clasps his fists in concentration and puffs his chest out, almost exactly the same time as Sarah's charge, like they could sense each other's power spiking. He also briefly gigantifies himself for good measure, to create more surface area.

   "Mountain Carver!"   

From the three gems on his chest piece, a large circular array appears, lighting up to fire what in a group battle would be a line-AoE tankbuster. An immense column of pure white light, clashing head-on with Sarah's black lightning for several seconds before exploding from the center and utterly devastating the environment around them, almost as far as one could see from one edge of the horizon to the other. Even the water in the nearby shoreline is completely vaporized, leaving the region empty for a few minutes until the ocean further away flows back in and fills the resulting crater.

And they're still holding back.

As he shifts back to his normal size, he's mostly paused for the moment, save for pulling a scroll out of his Hyperspace Arsenal, though he doesn't do anything with it yet.    "I'm curious. Has it crossed your mind to ask why I have such an affinity towards Light? After all, I wasn't exactly born with this kind of power like you are."

Hmph! Sarah uses her superior senses to stylishly dodge the hands, moving her head or whole body, depending on the situation, to dodge each. She also just flies at high speed, allowing her to dodge his damage. It seems like she's taking this seriously enough not to want to get hit by too much of his moves.

When the shock happens, she does make a pleased smirk, but quickly grow more serious again, and simply prepare her next move as he questions her. She uses those precious few seconds to wipe blood away from her mouth, bending the iron within to manipulate her own hemoglobin.

Questions like these are asked after the fight, dearie. Answers the sister. Then, she flicks the blood at him at high speed. it's not harmful, but she does try to aim for the "eyes", in a bid to surprise and blind him. Then, right afterwards, she dashes forth and raise her arm, as if aiming to hit him with a clothesline punch. However, if he tries to dodge, surprise! She forms an electromagnetic barrier behind him, though there's also one above and below him, meaning that he'd need to dodge to the side. Seemingly, Sarah does want to keep things fair enough to prevent just boxing him in.

However, it doesn't prevent her from immediately trying to hit him with a Lariat fierce enough that it'll send him to the horizon! And if it hit, she'll appear above him to attempt to kick him down towards the frozen sea!

But then, using sheer speed again, she appears below him and attempts to hit him right in the stomach with an outstretched fist! Wowie!

Then, she kind of freeze, trying to keep her grasp on him, and sparks appears over them.

Blah, surprise! She says, as an intense torrent of lightning falls on them both, Sarah apparently aiming to overwhelm him through sheer might. To help matters, she does not stop her attack and repeatedly try to batter him in the face, chest and stomach with a series of punches fast and strong enough to make Jotaro feel inadequate, even as the lightning flood all around them!

Back In The Real World...

Miles groaned as the pod he was in opened and he held his noggin, "Ok, think we might stick to using the Nexus for training purposes. At least for a while."

"No complaints from over here..." Nebula remarked in a weak-sounding voice as she too held her head, trying to get her bearings, "As much as I hate to say this, Kazami really should invest in better security software...is everyone here present and accounted for?"

"I'm here," Corona stumbled out of her pod along with Shyna who had dizzy spirals in her eyes, "Not taking a ride on that again anytime soon..."

Zero unplugged himself from the system, "I got to see that walking scrap heap get a bunch of holes punched in him so I am satisfied for the time being."

Yharim's Castle, location unknown

   "Excellent, all data received."   

   "... This is random noise. How do you get his location from this?"   

   "The operational speed and processing power of my circuits vastly exceeds that of your brain, witch. I simply read that data, and draw the appropriate connections."   

   "I... see. I will assure that a strike team is assembled at on-"   

   "You will be going, witch."   

   "... I will prepare a clone a-"   

   "Personally. I have already made the arrangements with the Lord. A detachment of sixteen highly accomplished operatives will be placed under your command. We have reason to believe the Worm will be there too, so you are authorized to deploy the Keepers. All troops are mobilized and prepared to go - you are expected to be there in no more than ten minutes. Understood?"   

   "... Of course, Draedon. I will get right to it."

Meanwhile - Aboard Kazami's Ship, Arena Orbit

The group weren't the only ones to be a little shaken - Kazami, too, awakened from VR, quicker and less cautiously than they did, but still just as confused.

"Uh, okay, look, I... really hate to alarm you, but when you were destroying that robot-virus-thing, it uploaded something to a spot down on the surface. No idea what it was, but it probably gives away where we are. Uh... sorry, I should probably have done something about that, but I was locked out."

As he spoke, he rose to his feet, starting to pace a little bit back and forth as he fiddled with his own flight feathers in nervousness.

"So, uh, once you've woken up all the way, proooobably a good time to get ready for... well, I guess a fight, if that robot was any indication."

Needless to say, nobody was happy at hearing this news as evident by all the sour expressions the gang was wearing. Miles put a hand to his temples and massaged them, breathing deeply, "Thanks for the heads up, Kazami. Sorry, guys, no rest for the wicked, as they say..."

"Hey, we're with you to the very end, partner. Remember that." Nebula gave him a playful punch in the arm, causing him to smile gratefully.

Corona bent down to Kazami's level, going to rub him on the head, "We appreciate all you've done for us, Mr Kazami, but if you want to help us it might be best you keep your distance again. There's no telling what or who is waiting for us down there."

Some of Kazami's good mood did seem to come back as he was patted, giving a little chirpy giggle even as he playfully brushed off Corona's hand.

"Ah, plenty of time for that stuff later - right now, it's best if you all got off the ship. I'll spin up the telep-"

The avali stopped mid-sentence, looking aside for a second - if Miles was wearing his own AR goggles, he'd be able to see a set of what looked to be popup notifications appear where he was looking. After a moment of analyzing them, he gave a little gasp, eyes widened and ears laid flat in what the gang could only assume to be abject terror.

"W-Wait, what? Who's... No, but... How fast... And, the teleporter..."

After another moment of terrified incredulity, he suddenly took off out of the room and down the corridor at full sprint, yelling back towards them as he went.

"Escape pods are on the lowest deck! Hurry down there!"

And with that, he was gone - though he didn't leave the gang wondering for long as they all felt an impact rock the ship hard. Seems they had less time on their hands than they hoped.

"Kazami?" Miles quizzed at seeing his fluffy friend suddenly freeze like a statue. At hearing him seemingly talk to thin air, he put down the goggles only to wince at seeing all the warning signals popping up, "Kazami, what the hell is goin-"

He never got a chance to finish as his friend suddenly took off out of the room, shouting back for them to all head for the escape pods. The whole ship shook violently, nearly throwing the whole group off their feet.

Nodding to each other, Miles collapsed back into goop form with the others letting themselves get engulfed before the whole mass took on their Void form and started sliding down through the nearest grate, hoping to reach the lowest levels before it was too late.

It didn't take much effort for them to reach the lower decks through the vents - another explosion rocked the ship as they travelled, a little stronger than the first. Once they arrived at the escape pods, a look into the room from the ceiling revealed that they were seemingly alone there. It was cluttered, but not overly so, leaving them plenty of space to drop down and head for an escape pod of their choice.

Hjaalmarch, near Movarth's Lair

Close to the entrance of Movarth's Lair, Pietro dashes about left and right, striking at various imaginary enemies.
