"One of the last things it told us was to be patient.", Pip says, handing Seras the piece of paper.

"Do you think that means we just have to wait for her and see what happens?", Seras wonders aloud.

"Well... I'm not sure what else it could be," Pietro replies. "Unless it was a really complicated way of telling us not to worry so much. Either way, now that I know Rin's alive, I might have an easier time doing both."

"Well, as vague and cryptic as this experience was, I'm glad it helped at least.", Seras says, smiling. She then starts to pick up the candles as Pip looks at Pietro.

"Do you want to keep this paper, or should we get rid of it, like we'll do with the candles?", he asks.

"Let's keep it. Then we'll have ourselves a little souvenir of our first seance."

Pietro helps Seras pick up the candles.

"And thanks again for this, Seras. I seriously owe you one."

"Alright. Au revior, mon ami.", Pip says before disappearing within Seras' vampiric arm again, leaving the paper behind. Seras picks it up, as well as the Ouija Board, after both she and Pietro have picked up the candles.

"Ah, don't worry. She's my friend too after all, even if a part of her apparently hates me. ... we'll sort that out once this situation itself has been sorted out."

She pockets the paper.

"So, before I go back to return the board to Sir Integra... are you still hungry? Because you've made me curious about that place you were eating at.", she asks, smiling.

"Yeah, don't worry, the sassy blonde Rin with the guitar'll be happy see us again," Pietro assures, smiling back at Seras. "Anyway, if you wanna head back to Min's, I'd be more than glad to join you."

He offers her a goodnatured smirk.

"Just remember, you still owe me a margarita."

"As long as I can be sure it'll stay at one margarita for you now, I'll be happy to return what I owe you.", she smirks.

Once they've disposed of the now-useless candles, she starts taking off towards Min Min's restaurant.

"You've got yourself a deal, police girl!"

After disposing of his candles, Pietro exits the inn before walking alongside Seras towards Min Min's noodle shop.

Aw! Perona get struck by the newcomer! Luckily for her though, the Medic arrives and heal her. She looks fittingly confused at her wounds vanishing.

Thanks, medicine man! You kinda remind me of-oh wait She snaps her fingers and blast at her foe with three explosive ghosts!

Spartan B213

The remaining charge of the overshield quickly drained under the intense fire, although it gave the Spartan enough time to duck behind a pretty large tree. He lowers his gunlance to the ground, briefly taking a glance at his wrist's GPS attachment.

Another large group of contacts were headed toward him and his new allies, the Spartan groaning in disgruntlement. Joshua rose his gunlance and prepared another shell. He peeked from the tree, firing the shell and killing another imperial.

Perona

The Droid had little mobility and couldn't so much as move an inch before the explosive blasts hit, taking out the droid's legs. Its upper half, however still managed to function. It unleashed a few more blasts of heavy plasma toward Perona, but without the stability of its legs, it should be easy to dodge.

Rimuru

The two sith were surprised by the sudden appearance of the other two, although they managed to parry the first blows from the pair of copies. Once they had landed on the ground, each of the two began their duel with the copies.

The first warrior was quickly overwhelmed in a one on one, being stabbed right through their chest. The second was soon beset upon by the second, this one managed to hold his own for far longer. Although not long after, he shared the same fate as his fellow Sith.

Rimuru had floated above the tree line, but the trees weren't thick enough to stop him from looking down. It would probably be opportune to ambush the larger group of imperial soldiers from behind, as they were currently focused on the fighters in front of them.

Although what may catch the slime's eye was the oncoming horde on speeders rushing toward the forest. Rimuru should also definitely notice the large Terminus-class destroyer◊ also headed for the forest.

Wrusotiz

The Sith Lord rose his twin white blades, throwing them both out toward the imperial directly in front of him, unleashing a torrent of force lightning to assist it. Seven soldiers were either decapitated or electrocuted, but many remained.

Perona does dodge, attempting to look graceful, but a sudden blast does manage to kind of throw her off when it hit ground closer than she thought. Stumbling forward, she attempts to quickly cover up her shame with a sudden blast of ghostly forces from the tip of her umbrella!

The Slime looked at the large amount of information this high angle gave him, and instantly knew what the best corse of action was.

He dive bombed, flying back towards the ground at incredible speeds. Landing behind the Imperial soldiers, his impact leaving a small crater where he landed.

As soon as the slime landed on the ground, he smiled, his form changing to a massive orc◊

A booming laugh came from behind the Imperials, as Rimuru reached his arms out, aiming to grab two of the soldiers in front of him.

If he succeeded, he would simple swallow them whole, turning their life force into his own.

Megan raised her arms over herself defensively as Escaton Judgement blared forth.

Thanks to her current godly state and manual regeneration, she came out of the blast the least bad off of the four, though she was still about halfway depleted. She leapt up and dove foot-first at Alatreon's head. If it connected, she would bounce off and rain down some Dragon Ammo from her gun. If it missed, she would fire some Dragon Ammo up at the Blazing Black Dragon without turning to face it. Hurray for prehensile tails!

   "... I miss being able to do this,"    she said, pausing for a brief moment afterwards as she readied her blade and spear in conjunction.

Alatreon roars and switches back to Fire Active as Megan attacks. It promptly builds up Dragon energy of its own and leaps at Varik, releasing an explosion of the red element definitely strong enough to finish him off, and much too large for him to get out of the way in time in his current state.

"No shit." Reyna offers Sporacles an Ancient Potion. Despite the name, it more closely resembles some kind of pill or tablet. "This'll instantly increase your maximum health and stamina by a large degree. I have more of my own, we need to get back into the fight before someone else carts and we fail the quest."

She points out the wingdrake hitching post, presumably the ride back to the fight.

Medic moves his heal-beam back to Joshua for a moment, then to Wrustoiz, doing his best to micromanage.

While Varik snaps out of his daze in time to realize what's coming his way, he's not physically ready to try to dodge it, even if the attack itself wasn't already too big to dodge anyway.

"Shit shit shit!"

Knowing fully well that his Barrier is not going to last through the entire attack due to his current state and that he can't take the attack head on, he casts Magnet in a last-ditch effort, trying to absorb the elemental energy of the attack and restore his own stamina.

Spartan B213

The sudden appearance of the behemoth orc from behind the imperial surprised Joshua, but he took full advantage of the surprise ambush. The spartan unleashed shell after shell into the imperials, one after another. Their numbers were swiftly dwindling The plasma bolts that had managed to hit him during his attack were mostly nullified by the Medic's brief blasts from the heal-beam.

Perona

The droid was blasted apart by the ghostly power, igniting it in flame. Perona had a few moments to rest, only for the roaring of speeder engines to echo through the forest, another large group of infantry arriving.

The imperials exited from their transportation, swiftly drawing their blasters and firing. This blaster fire wasn't only aimed at Perona, the torrent of plasma was also aimed to annihilate the rest of the group from another angle, with the exception of Rimuru.

Rimuru

The imperial soldiers screamed as they were picked up and swallowed, and the rest of the small group of remaining soldiers turned their blasters onto the beast before them quickly.

Though the blaster fire shouldn't be Rimuru's primary concern, as a double-bladed purple lightsaber ignites from behind him, and is thrown directly toward his stomach. If he managed to dodge the lightsaber throw, he should find himself being thrown far by a blast of force lightning.

Stood behind him was another Sith◊, but this one was different.

Wrustoiz

The Sith Lord chuckled at the appearance of the orc, recalling his lightsabers to him and watching the carnage the orc had caused. Whilst the Imperial Soldiers were distracted, Wrustoiz rushed forward, given an added dose of speed from the Medic. He cleaved three heads off with a single swing of his pristinely white sabers, only for the latest arrival to catch his attention.

A scowl developed under Wrustoiz's helmet, he recognized the female Sith. He rose his blades once more, continuing to slice and dice through the remaining infantry.

"Neat." He pops the pill, and follows her lead to their ride.

"... Quest? Were you hired to kill this thing or something? I usually just go after monsters that look like they'd be a tough fight. Because adrenaline or something."

Oh c'mon!

Perona notices this and decide to act up. She forms a swirly wall of ghosts-like apparitions. When struck, the ghosts quickly swirl around the beams, stopping them in mid-air. The orbs then shoot themselves outward, with the beams, back at the agressor. This could protect the others!

It does seems like it take some timing. At least, Perona sighs after she sent her ghosts out!

You better give it up before I blast you with ghosts and huh do the thing I was already doing then!

The Orc-Slime did not feel any pain, due to his slime body being able to absorb just about anything.

He turned around, his form changing back into a human. He raised his left hand behind him, his hand begging to spin at such a high velocity it deflected most of the blaster bolts heading his way

“Your different! Hopefully a little bit more of a challenge.”

With his other hand, Dark Lightning erupted from it, matching the Sith lightning with equal force

Medic continues to distribute healing.

Charlotte Emily has been experiencing these... episodes since that phone call, where she lies awake and motionless with demon animatronic eyes from midnight to 6 AM. So, she◊ is currently being watched over by Erma◊. Eventually, however, Erma gets sick of the constant gloom and whatnot, and uses a spell from her mother's book of hexes and curses to force Charlotte to sleep.

Bad idea.

While Charlie's sleeping body is writhing under the miasma, her mind and soul should find themselves in an unnaturally dark realm. There is no color, there are no objects. And if she looks around, she won't see anything.

Is this a dream? Or is it something else?

Killer Bat◊'s eyes manifest in Leesarix's shadow.

   "How much longer will you need until we have the energy necessary to open the Door of Darkness?"   

Alchemist's Shack

   "There you are."   , a voice very similar to Giygas' own suddenly says from behind him. So similar, in fact, that it seems to be identical.

If Giygas turns to look, he'll see Giegue, his alternate counterpart◊, floating behind him.

Charlie's ghostly monochrome form stumbles to the 'ground' and falls on all fours, breathing heavily and sweating. It seems she was not immediately taken to this inner world...

"Wh-where am I now?" she asks.

   "I could do it now, but Master Ansem has instructed us to hold off until a proper 'aligning of fates'. Presumably he means for us to wait until he opens his own path to the Darkness, making it far stronger."   

Giygas looks at his counterpart.

   So, you felt it too.

Once she calms a little and looks around, she'll now see the expanding darkness around her, seemingly leaving her with no clear, immediate direction to go in.

   "I grow impatient for the Darkness to be released... but Ansem deeply impressed me when I met him. Perhaps it would not hurt to put my trust in him and wait a little longer."   

Killer Bat's eyes narrow.

   "Are there any other preparations that need to be made while we wait for his path to be opened?"   

   "Yes. I wanted to seek you out to see if you did as well."   

He crosses his arms.

   "Since you did, it cannot be a coincidence. Something happened, and I don't like the feeling of it."

Charlie shakily stands up. She opts not to move at all.

"... Whoever is doing this... please just come on out," she pleads. "I don't wanna fight... I don't want to hurt you..."

Meanwhile, Erma is checking Emiko's spellbook for anything that would qualify as dreamwalking.

Leesarix draws his sword and looks into its reflective surface.    "There is a certain individual... who could be problematic to our efforts. Eliminating her would be beneficial."   

   Indeed. However, I have no idea what could be causing that situation.   

A black-and-red blur comes streaking over the horizon. Giygas looks up at it.

   I wonder... might he?   

There's no response for a bit, but one does eventually come. Not in the form of anyone appearing before her though, but rather a faint trail of light becoming visible, seemingly leading her the way.

Should she starts walking on said trail, a faint light will become visible in the distance.

   "Then we shall do that. Let us find her and eliminate her."   

   "Neither do I. Ninten better return soon, or-"   

Giegue, too, notices the blur in the sky and looks up at it, narrowing his eyes.

   "Someone you know?"
