Terry: "I'll admit, that was a little cocky, but all things considered... it's kinda well deserved."

Terry shrugs, completely nonchalant in spite of the gun being pointed at him.

He then looks over to Cerise.

Terry: "Hey now, I just came back from seeing someone who once tried to wipe all of humanity, chilling with his penguin friend. You're fine."

Little Red draws a second pistol, aiming one at Cerise and one at Terry.

   "Nobody... makes... a goddamn move."   

"Its...eep!

having a gun pointed at her made her shut up for a few seconds

"Im sorry, im sorry. i dont wanna die

she was hiding her face in the hood now, only letting her eyes out

Hub Centralis: Park

Terry adjusts his hat, shooting daggers from his eyes at Little Red.

He moves closer to Cerise, keeping his eyes on Red.

Terry: "I'm sure we can work this out with a modicum of peace. And if not, well..."

A couple of sparks of red lightning come off of the Hungry Wolf.

Terry: "At the very least, me and my little compatriot here will be getting out just fine."

Second Trumpet

Little Red bumrushes Terry, attempting to do a Mortal Kombat-ass move by unhooking her axe and digging it into his chest before flipping him over her head and onto the ground.

"Ah!"

cerise jumped backwards and saw her opening

she began running, and oh boy could she run. she ran extremely fast, not even caring the direction, as long as it was away from there

Hub Centralis: Park

Terry gets got, but kinda just shakes it off.

He retaliates with a Burn Knuckle, which would confirm into a 3-hit burning combo, ending in a searing upper, knocking her upward if it hits!

Little Red's large body is not built for evasion. She gets launched into the air, and lacking much of an air game to speak of, just swings her axe in a panic.

Running that fast, Cerise will have but a moment to avoid a direct collision with an unaware Alexa Randey.◊

Annnnd she didnt seize that moment, colliding right into the person

"Oof! sorry..'

as cerise was getting her barrings she didnt notice her hood was off

"I was just running from...oh no.

she had just noticed her hood was off for all but 30 seconds, maybe she didnt notice, but that was wishful thinking as she flipped it back on and held it tight

she noted a familliar scent but ddint comment for now

Hub Centralis: Park

Terry baits the swing, then cuts up through the air, aiming to smack Red silly with a Rising Tackle Nero!

The Rising Tackle beats Little Red up good, but she hits the ground like a rock and just as quickly starts backing away, firing her dual pistols at Terry.

"Oof!" Alexa falls on her rear. She only barely catches a glimpse of the ears before Cerise puts her hood up. To that, she says...

"Hey are you a werewolf?"

Classy.

"freak of nature is the better term"

she said with a sigh, slowly getting up

"Are you here to threaten me for them too?"

also very classy

Hub Centralis: Park

Terry rushes in once again, going low to try and avoid the bullets, rushing in and going for a Power Charge, trying to knock his opponent back and up; if that connects, he'll jump up and try to smack Red back down with a Power Dunk!

Combo food go monch.

Red falls to her knees and plants her axe into the ground, but then collapses fully.

Alexa responds with a very dog-like Quizzical Tilt.

"... No, why? Jeez, I was just curious. It's kinda cute, y'know."

"Someone back there pointed a gin at me for having my ears, she looked just like my mom, but with a destroyed face, it was freaky."

she seemed quite upset, but kind of chuckled when she said cute

"if they were cute i wouldnt be nearly shot over them, besides im pretty obviously a freak"

Secluded Valley

"Steady as it goes..."

Megan focused in on her Second Sight, the one she had gained from her time training with Lacia, and tried to get a feel for things that way.

Hub Centralis: Park

After landing, Terry rears back as if to try to Buster Wolf on wakeup...

Then peeks over, seeing the collapsed Red and just kinda standing back up and moving over.

Terry: "Hmm..."

He then looks all over, not seeing any traces of Cerise.

Terry: "Odd. I guess she ran off..."

As the Mernos' freakout intensifies, the team manages to get over an area of ground.

"There's our stop," says Reyna, simply jumping off her Mernos and landing with an Unnecessary Combat Roll.

"... Man, you gotta stop being such a downer. Would it make you feel any better if I told you that I'm a werewolf?"

"not really, youre actually able to be defined as something

weird..she wasnt a werwolf then?

i just wanna go home, at least there im not threatened over my ears, i didnt want to be like this.

Alexa is confused, but that certainly won't stop her from trying to help.

She takes a deep breath and draws upon her inner middle school bully.

"So you met someone who wants to kill you because you're a freak. And so what? That means you're gonna cry for mommy? Gonna beg someone to take you away from all this? You're not a freak, you're a coward! What's really wrong is you don't have a goddamn spine, wimp!"

"Well im sorry that i listen to what people say!"

she sounded assertive for a moment, before sighing

"I know what you mean by me being a coward, but theres not many other options other than for me to hide at home. nobody wants to see this.

Sporacles follows suit, though his landing is less a maneuver and more like someone plopping a chess piece onto a square.

"Aight, let's get this bread."

He flips his knives out, holding them at the ready.

Varik jumps as well, landing on one hand and two feet instead, after which he stands upright again and draws his sword.

Secluded Valley

Megan landed in a much more understated fashion, and quietly drew her sword, which shimmered along its clean, freshly-sharpened edge.

"The air is heavy with the energies of life and death... and something else. Dragon Energy?"

This clearly isn't going to work if she keeps up that act. "... I got a lot of shit for being a werewolf, you know."

Alexa sighs. "This 'Samson' fellow hunted me down to his last breath, and he turned out to be just as much of a monster inside as I was on the outside. In almost every aspect, he had me outmatched. But you know what I had that he didn't?"

"Friends. People who respected me for who I was, not what. People like that are here, too - you just need to stick around long enough to find them."

Reyna replies to Megan, "Well, this is where a lot of dying creatures' bioenergy goes, to fertilize the ecosystem left behind. And yeah, you can smell the elements."

Within the blizzard, a silhouette appears, beating its wings. It turns towards the hunters, emerging from the veil and snarling. Its scales glow an icy bluish-white...

Chime From a Shimmering Bell ~ Alatreon

and then turn a fiery orange as it unleashes an explosive fireball on the group, followed by spraying a jet of flame everywhere. It takes to the sky, unleashing fire in balls and waves that quickly turns the environment from 'blizzard' to 'inferno'!

And then, it lands. It glares at the party, stomps towards them, and unleashes a screeching roar as it rears up on its hind legs!

the fireball technically counts as an attack but not the rest of the flame-blasting

Reyna skillfully dodges the fireball, before brandishing her weapon of choice for the fight - Safi's Drakcrusher, a big-ass Dragon Element hammer. She rushes towards... a short ledge in one corner of the battleground, charging up an attack as she goes.
