Dragapult gets 'so long-a bowser'-ed directly into Darkrai's line of fire, blasting it to the ground.
Beeatrice rushes over to put a hand in front of Dante. "Don't finish it off. This is up to her now."
She nods at Iris.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."The Poké Ball sucks up the Dragapult.
And a-one...
and a-two...
and a-three...
Click!
"Yeah!" Beeatrice does a victorious fist-pump.
"The mystery is solved, the job is done, and Iris? I think you're off to a good start."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""If it fails, I'm gonna skewer it like a kebab- Oh, it's good. Thanks for the help, I'll contact my employer, get the pay and meet up with you guys soon to give your pay. Oh, and so it'll be easier for me to remember, what are your guys names? I'm Dante, the demon slayer."

I can't say goodbye to yesterday…"i think im gonna do that too. in the meantime.."
she got her newfound pokeball and tossed it upward
dragapult came out, towering over everyone else at 9'10.
"hey!"
iris started observing her new friend and fed it an apple she had with her
"sorry for roughing you up but we kinda had to."
Your Jordans are fake, fake as hell. Dollar Store ass shoesDragapult makes the closest tjhing it can to a purring noise.
this made iris giggle a bit
"You like affection, dont you? that works for me."
she then quite literally did a leap and was now piggybacking on it, which it didnt seem to mind.
"Hes tall. my acreus."
Your Jordans are fake, fake as hell. Dollar Store ass shoesWait, you can embed images now? Never used to have the permission to, but, suddenly, you made a Dragapult...
Grymm takes on a puzzled expression, blinking.
"Oh, really?"
He listens to the description of the dragon, and then closes his eyes, looking pensive.
"Hm...well...Bronze Dragons
like to help humans, but they're usually a lot more enthusiastic about taking the fight straight to evil by themselves than guiding heroes to do so for them. Silver Dragons
are kind and protective of mortals, but they tend to actually live alongside them in disguise, waiting for those who know their secret to approach them for help instead of actively seeking out trouble to quell. Gold dragons
often do the same, but they either take positions of power to guide people toward the right path, or live as hermits and offer wisdom and training to heroes who chance upon them or seek them out. Considering their great wisdom, reserved personality, and complete dedication to ensuring the prevalence of good, and most likely even their mostly-good-natured desire for mortals to sort out most of their own problems instead of looking to a stronger individual to do so for them, I wouldn't be too surprised to see one doing the same thing if they were put in the same situation. Other than that, Mercury Dragons
are much too impulsive to put together a plan like that, Iron Dragons
would care more about their territory being invaded, and Steel Dragons
would likely take the fight to the invading being themselves to combat their oppressive regime, and those are the most common Metallic Dragons I can think of. There are more, but they're seldom seen unless you know where to look."
He smirks as he watches Ugo, who seems quite pleased with his roost, settling in quite comfortably. Lucien gives a small nod to the others.
"I appreciate your sympathy. And I am all too aware of the dangers of the Arena. I have already suffered one demise in the Arena, after all, however brief it was. In fact, that took place during the...unconventional first meeting I had with Ninten, where that unstable mechanical boy caught me with his self-destruction. I am used to it, however, and I assure you that my sister was anything but weak. She was training to become a Paladin, after all. With the favor of the Goddess and several years of combat training behind her, I wager she could have taken on much stronger foes than I can, with my dark magic countered by my frail body. With any luck, she'd once more be the one watching over me."
His smile gains a small tinge of reticence.
"If only my sins could be so easily forgotten..."
Said reticence in turn fades into dry humor as he cracks a faint smirk.
"I would certainly hope so, otherwise I would have to have quite the conversation with her to make up for all these years..."
Grymm chuckles dryly.
"That would certainly be good, though I'd have to get used to feeling all over again. Sure, my inability to suffer any pain from my condition or smell my own sun-dried husk might be pretty helpful for the sanity I’m still tenuously clinging to, but I'd do anything to experience the fragrance of a freshly-picked wildflower or the softness of a nice warm bed again...except for anything requested by one of those awful Necromancers."
-Beat-
"Er, no offense…"
"None taken."
Lucien shrugs in response to Ninten, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, when you think about it, our encounters have not exactly been at very opportune times for either of us. I have already described our first meeting, and what a wonderfully charming houseguest that robotic ruffian was...if he had not destroyed himself, I would have half a mind to use what was left of him as a coat rack, after what he did to my wardrobe."
He then watches Ninten grabbing the confections with the same dry reservation, but cracks a smirk when he sees that he’s actually dividing them up, clicking his tongue.
"Now, my dear friend, as pleased as I am by your remembering to share, you certainly still have much to learn when it comes to proper etiquette..."
Said smirk only grows upon seeing Ninten’s stalwart defense of his Oreo hoard.
"Hm, spoken like a true dragon..."
When Ana points out Ugo's 'hiding place', Lucien and Grymm share a smirk, while, when Ninten glances up, Ugo answers his curiosity by peering down at him from an upside-down perspective and giving him a cheeky tap on the nose with his bill. "D a y d r e a m ." , croaks the crafty corvid. Lucien and Grymm join in on the laughter, with Ugo trilling along.
"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-StalkerEstraole
A funky little bird hops along, a little boombox floating next to him and playing a bumpin' yet mildly spooky little song.
He kinda... wiggles? side to side along with the song, just enjoying himself, not going anywhere in particular.
"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!""Yeah, I'm sure." Kazami nodded, before shrugging off Miles' hand and leaning back into his pile of pillows. "We've had worse... Okay, actually, maybe not worse, but you seem to have the whole god business under control. Actually, come to think of it, the Devourer told me before she left that there was another group fighting against this Yharim guy. I might get in contact with them - as far as I hear, they're much more, I guess boots-on-the-ground style. More of a guerilla war than what you've got going on - and that's where we really shine. Not that I won't be helping you, of course, just a thought."
Ninten, after getting bill-tapped, narrows his eyes for a moment, as if unamused. But his strained smirk gives him away.
"... you're darn lucky I really like animals.", he then says, trying to carefully pet Ugo on his head a little with his finger while his friends continue talking to Lucien and Grymm.
"So it would be either a Gold Dragon, or maybe just a fully unique kind of dragon.", Lloyd says. "Considering its origins I wouldn't be surprised if there was only one of its kind."
Ana nods to Lucien.
"I don't doubt either of you, but you can easily run into a real monster of a creature in this world, so you should still both be careful."
Ninten, while still trying to pet Ugo, glances at Lucien.
"I may not know the exact details of your sins and I won't ask, 'cause that's a pretty personal thing. But some people who've done horrible things have been given second chances here, so you don't have to feel bad about what happened in the past. You helped protect my sisters, and that act alone already shows me what kind of person you really are.", Ninten says, smiling kindly.
Lloyd looks at Grymm.
"You know, considering the kind of things that have been made possible in this place in the past, maybe you'll find a way to get just that if you stick around. If you're immortal, you should have much less to worry about in terms of threats than most of us."
Ninten, meanwhile, wonders to himself if he should mention to Lucien that Neo Pseudo Porky is still alive. On one hand, his desire to turn Neo into a coat rack could make him a good ally, but on the other hand, considering Ninten, Lloyd and Sombra had to deal with six Robot Masters and the Kardas Dragon in Neo's base, he's not sure if he wants to be responsible for Lucien risking his life this way. Who knows what else Neo still has to throw at them?
In the end, for Lucien's safety and to keep the conversation more lighthearted, he decides not to bring it up.
He then blinks when he hears Lucien's comment.
"Huh? I'd say my etiquette isn't that bad."
"When you first came over to my home to visit after our journey you didn't even know what that word meant. Literally, you had to ask me what it meant.", Ana giggles.
"W-well, that was then.", Ninten quickly says, trying to not look embarrassed. He's snapped out of it by Lucien's other comment though, laughing now as well.
"Me, a dragon? I dunno, I don't think I'm particularly dragon material.", he snickers.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."Relax, girl, I ain't gonna try stealing your work so I can take credit for it or anything," Nicole assures, offering Alexa a slight smile. "Unless... that's not a song you were typing up just now."
A pause, before she chuckles and takes a few bites of her noodles.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! But seriously, I don't bite unless you give me a good reason to."
"First that Corrin with the dorky haircut, now this girl... Does the leather jacket make people think I'm a member of some scary-ass biker gang?"
"W-well, it's..."
Someone else approaches. "Man, I'm starvi-"
Alexa stands up in her seat, causing the source of the voice, Glali Nik, to freeze.
"Niko?"
"Alex!"
The two girls run up and hug tightly, each giving the other a quick kiss on the cheek.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Nicole blinks in surprise when not only does Nik arrive before Alexa could respond, but the two greet each other with an embrace.
"Hold up... Niko?"
Quickly finishing her meal, she rises from her seat before approaching the pair.
"For someone who's obviously a close friend of yours, Glali, I don't think you ever told me about Alex here before."

It smacks Dante alright, but he's grabbed on to it, and tries to get a good grip on it now.
"From Hell's heart, I, uh...throw you, I guess."
Dante spins around Dragapult SM64 style and tries to throw him.
