"I get it, I get it," replies Rhea.
"All Nobodies have Die For Your Master... and all my monsters are Nobodies. As Twilight Thorn is a defensive wall, its Defense is calculated to determine damage... and fortunately for me..." Luxord's Twilight Thorn flips face-up, blocks the attack from the Token and survives, though no damage is dealt to Bakura.
"It's more than that token's Attack." He draws a card with Larxene
on it. "Now, Sorcerer!"
His Sorcerer lunges forth, projecting blades of energy from the palms of its hands, to destroy the Token with its superior Attack.
LP: 50
In play: Twilight Thorn (face-up), Sorcerer (face-up), Headshot (trap), Dragon of Xemnas (face-up), Doom (1 TURN REMAINS), Samurai (face-up), Marluxia (Final Form) (face-up), Gambler (face-up)

"You know, running out of 'Health' makes you lose."
Although Kitten gets bulldozed by the King of Skull Servants stomping right through his Misha, the Wisdomball heals him, allowing him to survive. He draws Tracking
.
"As I have no better options, I shall play Tracking, drawing the top three cards of my deck, choosing one and discarding the others!"
He does so, and chooses "Call Pet,
which will allow me to draw a card from my hand, reducing its mana cost if it is a Beast."
He uses that as well, and gets... Halazzi, the Lynx.
He sighs. "If my minions attacking superior threats still damaged the enemies they hit, this would be way more fair..."

"T-this is absurd! My Life Points are higher! I have a monster they cannot hope to defeat! How am I the one with my back against the wall!?" , Bakura thinks to himself, looking panicked. He closes his eyes for a moment, checking in with Diabound.
Diabound opens a hidden door within a house, slithering into the narrow hallway with the Millenium Puzzle and Millenium Ring.
"So close... just a little bit longer..."
He draws a card and grimaces at first... then slowly looks at Luxord and Kitten with pure madness in his eyes.
"It seems that I've lost." , he says. "I can't defeat your card this turn. ... what I can do, however, is make at least one of you experience what it's like to be consumed by the darkness before I die!"
He plays one of his cards.
"I activate Double Attack
! I must discard a monster with a higher star level than a monster on my side of the field. Then, the lower-ranked monster can attack twice this turn."
He holds out his other card.
"I discard The Dark Master - Zorc
◊ to allow my King of Skull Servants to attack twice this turn. But that's not all, no... I activate the Wightprince's second effect! When it's in the Graveyard, I can banish it alongside two Skull Servants to Special Summon a King of Skull Servants from my deck!"
The cards come out of the Graveyard, with Bakura grabbing them and putting them away.
King of Skull Servants: ATK: 8465 -> 5465
"Now come forth!"
A card emerges from his deck, with Bakura grabbing it and playing a second King of Skull Servants.
ATK: 7000
"Now destroy him! Annihilate him! Let him feel death and despair, even for a moment! Tear his mind asunder before my inevitable demise! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The weaker, original King of Skull Servants sends spirits after the surviving Misha for its first attack. His second attack then goes for the Cat, or for the Misha should something block its attack on it again.
Lastly, the stronger King of Skull Servants attacks Marluxia, unless Misha survives both attacks from the other King, in which case it's forced to attack Misha as well.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Misha and the Cat die, and so does Kitten, but then...
The Wisdomball imparts its final gift of the duel. "Do you feel... a chill?"
The King of Skull Servants headed for Marluxia never reaches him, as Bakura's monsters are frozen solid.
Luxord gives Kitten's body a sad look, but then it just as quickly turns smug as he looks up at Bakura.
"Well, it seems that even the dead must die again, and that is your fate as well. You were a fool to challenge the limitless potential of a former Nobody."
Doom: 死
As the counter over Bakura's head ticks down for the last time, the 1 becomes the kanji for 'death' instead of 0.
Luxord fans himself with his cards. "This game..."
Cherry blossom petals swirl up around the field, into a veritable hurricane. The Kings of Skull Servants, every monster on Bakura's side, the graveyard, and even his unused cards are disintegrated into more blossom petals, which then converge directly over Bakura's head as they take the form of that laughing skull again.
"... is over."
Marluxia brings his scythe down for the reaping, the skull consumes Bakura, and Luxord's victory is sealed.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Bakura can't believe what he's seeing. His King of Skull Servants... the king of the dead, the king of thieves...
"Attack... negated?" , he mutters in shock.
Then the Cherry Blossoms appear, which even has Kaiba surprised for a moment. Bakura witnesses the demise of all but two of his cards: Diabound Kernel, a card of his that he had not placed in his deck this time around, and the Winged Dragon of Ra, which refuses to let itself be destroyed. Though this card, too, is not in Bakura's deck, as he has no easy way to summon it.
Bakura wordlessly looks up as the skull forms and descends towards him. He does the only thing he can think of doing...
He grins like a maniac and spreads his arms wide, embracing his demise.
The skull consumes, and...
The darkness fades. The Shadow Game had been won, and Kitten would be revived in a matter of seconds.
As for Bakura... well, it seems he still has some Millenium Magic on his side, as he's still standing there. Not for long though, as his body starts to give away, turning into sand, as had the Pharaoh's body just before Kitten had come across him.
"So much for your invincible monster.", Kaiba smirks at him. Bakura just grins.
"F... fools... I've already... done... my part..."
Disturbingly, half of his face turns into sand and falls as he speaks what is likely his final words.
"I never said... that Diabound... would STAY here... with... the..."
Bakura's body then collapses completely, nothing but a pile of sand where he stood.
"Damnit. Wake Kitten up, we need to find that slithering snake of his.", Kaiba says, realizing that Bakura's game, in the end, had been nothing but a decoy. Something to make them waste their time.
As Kaiba starts moving, he notices the Winged Dragon of Ra on the ground. He picks it up, giving it a look, after which he pockets it... for now.
Within a hidden room in the house, slumped over the Millenium Stone
, Diabound lays, dying as it turns into sand. The Millenium Key, The Millenium Scales, the Millenium Necklace, the Millenium Rod, the Millenium Eye and the Millenium Ring are already placed inside.
With the last of its strength, with the desire to see its master's greatest wish come true, with the final spark of life left in the corrupted deity, Diabound places the Millenium Puzzle in place.
As nothing but sand remains, the spirits from within the Shadow Game manifest around the Millenium Stone, circling around it eerily, but quietly.
The ceremony, the summoning, has begun...

"Ow!"
"The real danger - the monster you thought was a daemon - escaped. We must find it."
Kitten picks himself up. "Alright, alright... hold on." He starts following Kaiba, while Luxord stays behind just in case. "Kaiba, could you let me see the card you just picked up? Something about it is familiar."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to." "Diabound... I'd noticed that it had left during the duel, but I didn't figure Bakura planned ahead for his possible defeat. Perhaps I gave him too little credit, as I figured that his only goal was to win with the King of Skull Servants.", Kaiba says. He then looks at Kitten and shows him The Winged Dragon of Ra
◊.
"You've seen this card before?", Kaiba asks, genuinely curious considering that there's only one version of Ra's card. "This is Ra, one of the Egyptian God cards."
He then looks unamused.
"A set of three cards of which I used to have one.", he grumbles, still a little sore about it.

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitter"Ah, yes. In my first-ever duel against the glorious Man-Emperor, his strategy revolved around making that exact monster both powerful enough to oneshot me and completely impossible to destroy. "Also he called it 'Mega Ultra Chicken'. I wouldn't have known it was supposed to be an Egyptian god considering the Emperor abolished religion millennia ago."

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""You were able to beat Ra?", Kaiba asks, more shocked about that then how much he's weirded out over someone referring to Ra as 'Mega Ultra Chicken'. Considering Kitten's mention of religion being abolished millennia ago, Kaiba comes to the conclusion that the card's real name must have just gotten lost to time.
But then he suddenly looks pleased upon coming to a realization.
"And I, in turn, beat you."
Ah... yeah, he's choosing to interpret that as him being able to beat Ra as well. ... maybe it's best not to argue with him, otherwise they might be here for a long time.
Time that they really do not have, as the ground starts to rumble and darkness slowly starts to form in the sky. Kaiba snaps out of his ego trip when he notices this.
"Great, that snake made it to wherever it had to go before Bakura bit the dust. We might already be too late."
???, Hub Centralis
The spirits circling around the Millennium Stone now get sucked inside of it, making it glow with an aura of red energy. The Millennium Stone breaks free from the earth its tethered to, floating up and forcing its way through the ceiling until it's floating high above the house it was hidden within.
The ground starts shaking more fiercely...
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."It would be more accurate to say I... simply bypassed it. He even had the hilariously overpowered Golden Castle of Stromberg, but I had a card that sent it, and Ra, and all the effects he had used, back into his hand. Then, since he had sacrificed all but one hundred of his Life Points to make it so strong, I could defeat him with even my weakest monster."
Kitten looks up at the sky. "This looks like a chaos invasion, not gonna lie."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."The sand that used to be Diabound's body, now buried in the rubble of the building, turns into red energy too before getting absorbed by the stone.
The same happens to the sand that used to be Bakura, and as it gets absorbed, those near it may find themselves able to hear that evil, ghostly laughter one last time. As if Bakura's spirit is taunting them from beyond the grave.
After all of the spirits are absorbed into the Millennium Stone, it starts pulsating with energy as a vortex appears in the sky above it. A pillar of red light descends down from it... and destroys the Millennium Stone, sending the debris, as well as the Millenium Items, hurtling to places unknown in the town below.
The pillar of light strikes the ground, creating a crevice from which pure Hellfire spews up like a wall. And from inside that crevice, a gigantic creature of darkness, easily towering over any structure in the Hub Centralis,
◊ ascends with a low, roar-like moan. The sun itself is blocked out by darkness, aking to a solar eclipse, shrouded by the beast's mere presence. With its mere size, houses crumble underneath its feet.
Kaiba narrows his eyes as he witnesses this.
"The Wicked God, Zorc."
Zorc, looming over the city, looks down at it, probably not even taking specific notice to Kaiba, Kitten or Luxord yet. Breath as hot as steam comes from his mouth.
"THE SUMMONING WAS SUCCESSFUL... THE ITEMS OPENED THE GATEWAY... I LIVE ONCE AGAIN!"

Luxord stares at Zorc's form from where Bakura was fought.
Then someone else descends.
"You know, I planned to limit myself. To only use the Hero Colosseum figures to fight. However..."
Beerus
lands on a skyscraper rooftop, hands held behind his back.
"For disrupting my sunbathing and giving divinity a bad name, I think I'll just destroy you."
"Whooooooo is that?!"

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""As much as I would love to lecture her," the staff-wielding Guardian responded, "I do not hold power over her, and the Goddess does not mind this behavior. She casts her judgement broadly, and for most of us, that is not to be questioned. I am privileged with the ability to doubt her command - and to rein in those who do not." She glared at the sword-Guardian before continuing. "That being said, we must take our leave soon. There is little doubt that we will need to be prepared for the upcoming battles. If there is anything else, now would be an excellent time to ask."
The Devourer leaned back in the couch, sighing. "You know... Maybe you aren't so bad after all, kid. Maybe."
The Hub Centralis
As Zorc makes his dramatic entrance, a violet meteor impacts the ground by the group, and, when the dust settles, resolves itself into Shadow, looking none the worse for wear, and very, very angry.
"Ah, what the hell? Why now of all times? How many more evil deities are going to invade this month who I have to knock back out?"
"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-StalkerKaiba glances up to look, and when he sees who just arrived, he fully turns his head to look right at him.
"Beerus.", he says, after which he glances at Kitten.
"He says he is a God of Destruction. I suppose now we'll get to see how much of that is true."
He looks back at Zorc.
"If he's the real deal, with some luck, this problem may have already been solved. ... But in case it's not that easy..."
Kaiba activates his Duel Disk for some reason, which may confuse Kitten. What good will a bunch of holograms do against Zorc?
Regardless of what Kaiba's thinking, it seems to be serious, because Kaiba is glaring venomously at Zorc, as if he has some personal beef with the giant monstrosity. It's safe to say that, if Beerus can't immediately deal with Zorc, Kaiba will not stand on the sidelines this time.
LP: 8000
As he seemingly gets ready, he pauses when Shadow crashes in near them, turning to him.
"... and who are you?", Kaiba asks.
Meanwhile, Zorc takes notice of Beerus, looking at him.
"YOU CANNOT DESTROY THE DARKNESS. NOR DO I FEAR ANY GOD. FOR I STAND ABOVE THE GODS." , Zorc replies in turn.
"No, I can't waste time here. Remember my mission. , Dark Bakura's fading voice rings out in Zorc's mind, speaking his final individual words before he and Zorc truly become one and the same again.
"MY PURPOSE... YES. I WILL BATHE MY WORLD IN ETERNAL DARKNESS AND DESPAIR." , Zorc then says. "THIS WORLD MEANS NOTHING TO ME."
He looks around for a moment, then sees the bridges that lead to the other continents.
"I WILL REACH THE PORTAL WE USED TO OBTAIN THOSE SERVANT CARDS... RETURN TO MY WORLD THROUGH IT... AND DESTROY ALL LIFE AS I DROWN THE WORLD IN DARKNESS."
He looks back at Beerus one more time.
"IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, STAY OUT OF MY WAY."
Zorc then turns away from Beerus, having the gall to dismiss his presence, before he takes a step forward, crushing another building beneath his foot, aiming to make his way over to the edge of the Hub Centralis, towards one of the bridges. He now notices the group.
"SETO KAIBA... I HAD A FEELING YOU WOULD STAND YOUR GROUND AGAIN. YOU AND THOSE MEDDLING DUELISTS. AND... YOU." , he says, the last part to Shadow in particular.
"YOU ARE ALREADY TOO LATE. YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED ME WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE. NOW GET OUT OF MY WAY OR BE CRUSHED LIKE A BUG!"
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Beerus' eye twitches. "Wh-why... ignore me, will you? I'll teach you a lesson in humility!"
He rockets off the roof and flies at Zorc's face with a punch that sends shockwaves rippling throughout all the hub!
And considering the hub is at least big enough that the Devourer of Gods and Miles aren't rushing into this battle, that's quite the feat of power.
Destruction Descends (Beerus' Theme - Dragon Ball FighterZ)

Kitten stands his ground and shuffles his deck, preparing for a fresh game. However, the Wondrous Wisdomball activates.
"You're going to need a much better deck to deal with something like that."
Kitten's entire deck is transformed into different random cards in an instant. "Oh..."
"Yeah, as long as you don't try and toy with me."
Rhea chuckles... then immediately stops as the shockwave of Beerus' punch passes through the hotel. Real fear is visible on her face.
"... So, uh... you know how I'm a creator god?"

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""I do have one question..." Miles admitted as he let the Sisters return downstairs,"When we were speaking to your master and undergoing her trial, she was going on and on about virtue and vice and everything else that has dual sides being the source of all suffering. Why is she so convinced that's the case, if you don't mind me asking?"
Shadow glances to Kaiba, nodding in acknowledgement.
"Hey. I'm Shadow, the Aspect of Darkness, and, you may be surprised to hear, probably the fourth or fifth God you've ended up involved with today, and, as stated, a God of Darkness to boot, but don't worry, I'm firmly on the side of good. I've got personal beef with Zorc..."
Shadow sighs when Zorc makes his booming announcement, specifically singling out the former.
"...which explains that. Yeah, long story short, we traded some harsh words back when Yami Bakura was still trying to collect the items. He had freshly defeated Yami Marik, and I actually managed to hold a semi-decent conversation with the spirit of Thief-King Bakura himself, but failed to convince him to let go of his grudge. Now Zorc's predictably trying to lord it over me, but y'know what?"
He then turns around and shouts the next part of his comment up to Zorc, though still intends it to be heard by Kaiba and the others.
"You're not the first evil Divine I've taken down, and not even the first in recent memory! I helped defeat part of a much worse evil just last week, and saved the souls of an entire race that had been assimilated into it, not just one kid! And I do intend to separate you and Bakura, make no mistake! Compared to the Culmination, you're just dust in the wind, barely a memorable encounter! You hear me? Dust in the wind!"
With that pointed last word, he gives a sharp beat of his wings, sending a powerful sand-storm at the would-be destroyer.

"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-Stalker"The workings of the Goddess' mind is as much a mystery to us as it is to you." The staff-Guardian admitted. "But the circumstances of her creation, a great war between Light and Dark... It may explain her rejection of them. Even we do not know the full details of that, however."
The Devourer seemed quite surprised as the shockwave came. She sat up straight, looking in the direction it had come from. "Yeah?"
"At this point I'm going to be surprised if I come across any regular people again for a change.", Kaiba snarks. Though he still draws two cards, ready to fight.
"But I suppose, this one time, I'm more than happy for it. Any enemy of Zorc is an ally of mine."
He draws Polymerization and Blue-Eyes White Dragon, preparing to summon the latter as Shadow speaks up to Zorc.
Zorc laughs at Shadow's declaration, though still has to cover his face with one of its arms in response to the sandstorm.
"DUST IN THE WIND? IF THIS SOFT BREEZE IS ALL YOU'RE CAPABLE OF, I DON'T KNOW WHY I EVER CONSIDERED YOU A THR-"
Zorc, not expecting much of Beerus after having dismissed him, is proven wrong quickly though, as the punch suddenly topples Zorc, making him stumble and fall backwards onto some more houses as he lets out a pained, furious roar.
"... SO YOU HAVE CHOSEN DEATH."
He holds out his hand, dark energy swelling within, before firing a sphere of darkness that, if it hits Beerus, will send him flying into a building as well.
As a little bonus, while the attack's power isn't especially dangerous to Beerus, if he gets hit he'll still find that the attack actually hurt him.
"AND IF DARKNESS DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU..." , Zorc says to Shadow as he gets back up, regardless of how his attack on Beerus goes. He then puts his hands close together, flames forming in between.
"ZORK INFERNO!"
He converts the flames into a burning sphere, which he then throws at Shadow. The attack, if it hits Shadow, will deal a good amount of damage.
However, if Shadow dodges the attack, the Zork Inferno will crash into a different part of the Hub Centralis, potentially killing people if they're unlucky enough to be in that area right now.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."I see..." Miles nodded in understanding, looking rather contemplative briefly before grabbing the case of Uelibloom and buffing up his muscles so as to carry it easier,"Well, we should be on our way too. Got business of our own to attend to, after all. Come on, guys."
Shyna followed Miles down leaving only Zero on the roof. He turned to walk away, only to stop and glance back. He looked like he wanted to say something nasty, his eyes even glowing red...but instead he just turned and walked downstairs.

Shadow gives Kaiba a mirrored smirk in return.
"Y'know, that actually means a lot. But now we have a wannabe god to dethrone."
He then grins as Zorc gets sucker-punched by Beerus.
"Nah, that, Zorc, old pal, was what we in the Arena business call a distraction! And believe you me, that's only an appetizer. We haven't even worked up to the main course!"
He then growls as Zorc launches the inferno orb, knowing of the aftermath should he let it impact the village behind him. He begins to channel dark energy into the area, coalescing it into solid form...
...which manifests as a pipe track feeding into a giant pitching machine. Should the orb feed into the track, it will be launched straight back at Zorc at an extreme velocity, much like any mundane pitching machine.
"Here, have another serving!"
"Life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always a 'Happily Ever After' waiting for you at the end of the road." ~ Isengrim Heath-Stalker"... Well, where there's creation, there's destruction... and the Destroyer's nearby."
The Wisdomball procs on Kaiba's draw. "Take a couple extra copies. That boss won't mind!"
The other two Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards in Kaiba's deck are magically pulled out of it and into his hand.
—
Kitten draws five cards and examines one of them.
"Lord Jaraxxus.
Battlecry: Destroy your hero and replace it with Lord Jaraxxus. This... doesn't seem like a worthwhile card, but oh well, I will play it anyway!" He slaps down the Lord Jaraxxus card.
"... Where's the monster?"
muffled music is audible, coming from the distance but in no discernible direction.
Kitten nervously backs up.
He clunks into a walking slab of demonic man-meat standing behind him, stumbling forward in surprise. "Oh... OH..."
Lord Jaraxxus grabs Kitten by the not-Duel Disk and heaves, yanking the tool away while throwing the armored Custodes off to the side. As he takes Kitten's current hand of cards, he points a thumb at himself and bellows, "YOU FACE JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!"
"INFEEEERRRRRNO!" roars Jaraxxus as he summons an Infernal.
The lumbering rock-fire-lava monster just sorta swings at Zorc.
—
"That's my line!" protests Beerus before getting blasted into a building.
"Grrrr..." He zooms back out. "I'm ending this right now! Hakai!" He points two fingers at Zorc and attempts to instantly destroy him by dissolving him into specks of purple light.

The sound of a engine revving could be heard echoing though the air. A pinpoint appearing in the sky. That pinpoint suddenly grew to be a hole, and a blonde man on a motorcycle fell out of it.
The man landed on the ground, spinning to a stop atop of his bike. He looked around, breathing heavy as he scanned the area.
This isn't Domino City.
He thought to himself
"Just a humble peasant looking for work~"

"Dice cards?" , Bakura growls, and he rolls the die. Luckily for him, it lands on an O, leaving the King of Skull Servants unaffected. He snickers.
"H-he he he... did you think cheap tricks could quell the wrath of the dead? You-"
Cue the Mishas having Taunt, the King of Skull Servants and the Dragonecro Token already focusing its attention on them, and then Spirit Barrier is destroyed as well.
"Damn the both of you! Do you think this will stop me!?"
He immediately draws, looks at his card and does nothing with it yet.
"King of Skull Servants! Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon Token! Destroy those taunting vermin and annihilate his Life Points!"
Dragonecro Token (2136 ATK) attacks the first Misha, and the King of Skull Servants (8465 ATK) attacks the second. Either Luxord or Kitten better have a way of dealing with the King's damage output, or Kitten is done for.
As the King attacks with its spirits though, his Opti-Camouflage Armor burns off as well, angering Bakura further.
