"I see. Thanks, 42!"

Double looks over her for a second.

"If you don't mind me asking, what variety of machine are you?"

「どう致しまして。」 42 bows.

She then quickly replies, "Illegally-built Japanese gynoid designed to log and simulate data on human emotion. Also, apparently developed a soul at some point, seeing as I was able to become a magical girl." A light pulses from beneath 42's chest as she says the second line.

"Neat! I was a bit more interested in mechanical specifics, but the soul is interesting. Are you able to pull any functionality from it or is it a mere backup for when you perish?"

The Commanders near him, including the ones stuck in the wood, get blasted to the sides by Madara's attack.

Unfortunately the orb would not prove to be as effective, as the Commanders simply rotate the holographic thrusters on their wings, managing to keep themselves not just from getting drawn in, but also managing to keep themselves capable of reacting to Madara's attacks, some of them firing at the orb to try to destroy it, and the others trying to stop Madara's progress by flying in front of the wooden dragon and forming their arms into shield to bar the way to Quadraxis Sanctity.

They didn't try to stop it from slamming into other Cyber Angels first though, so the ones that shot at the orb get hit by the wooden dragon and are knocked on the ground and leaving them wide open for Madara to wail on.

Zoro will find that it seems that, no matter where he slashes, his attacks don't have any effect. However, as he's climbing, he'll find several spots that have glowing red orbs of light. Some underneath the feet and some on the knee joints. They're all hidden behind armor, though are still visible through them.

Those may be weak points, and if they can find a way past those specific pieces of armor...

Nicole's lightning doesn't do anything either, and Zoro should be close to her right now, so maybe he can inform her of this potentially crucial information.

Meanwhile, the General gets hit by Mjolnir and is sent flying against Quadraxis Sanctity's leg. Luckily not the same leg as Zoro was on, as otherwise it'd spot him.

"No, I do not. This all happened because of my failure! She saved everyone when I couldn't." , it says as it slowly gets back off, after which it starts to get ready to unleash its enormous laser attack.

Loki will then see Andropov on the other side.

"Of course these function, who do you take me fo-"

   "Oh, move aside already, this sounds serious."   , Hub says as he pushes Andropov away.    "What's going o-"   

Cue one of the Quadraxis Sanctity's legs only barely missing Loki and the crystal, almost having crushed them both. Hub and Andropov pause for a moment.

   "... we're gonna go look for one of his members right away. Survive for a little bit longer."   , Hub says, after which he warps out.

Mara then punches the only leg that had not yet come into play, and of course it does nothing. However, for some odd reason Mara looks extremely surprised after this hit. Is she that shocked that her punch did nothing, or is it because of something else...

The answer to that would have to wait, as suddenly Godzilla's beam comes in. The Officers and Soldiers on the ground get obliterated, as do the Commanders that Madara hit, leaving only four of them able to dismantle their shields and fly out of the way.

Mara, too, leaps back just in time to avoid getting hit, though one of her arms still gets obliterated due to how close she is to the beam.

The General, in mid-charge, sees the attack coming and realizes it won't be able to move away fast enough to avoid it. Speechless from visible fear, it quickly forms its wings into a shield and hopes for the best as the Quadraxis Sanctity gets engulfed by the beam, with both her and Zoro still on it.

The Cyber Angels inside the fortress, the Queen included, look at the screens in silent shock, not knowing if the robot could take that. And not knowing it the General survived.

The Queen could swear that she feels her heart beating in anxious anticipation, fearing for the General's survival.

"Oh... oh no... oh, please no...", the Queen mutters.

Beat

The beam passes.

Beat

The dust starts to settle.

Beat

There's complete silence.

Beat

...

The Quadraxis' Sanctity's silhouette appears in the dust, and when it's gone, it's revealed that...

Well, it didn't do nothing this time. The metal is showing some visible damage. Aside from that though... nothing actually broke, and the Quadraxis Sanctity immediately retaliates by sending bombs and three beams towards Godzilla, attacking only the Kaiju this time.

Even the Cyber Angels themselves can't help but stare. The robot just took an attack capable of wiping out Commander Units.

"Your Majesty, this is... this is incredible. This is far beyond what we predicted." , a Soldier says. The Queen, however, isn't exactly focused on the robot's toughness, instead looking at the battlefield to try to find the General.

The one good thing that came from the Quadraxis Sanctity taking that attack is that Zoro will also have survived by default.

   "Fuck, this confirms what I felt when I punched it."   , Mara says, actually appearing a bit intimidated.    "Those metal bastards changed the elemental metal on the plating of this robot."   

She growls.

   "This kind of metal can only be found in the realm of gods and angels. It's the same metal the artifacts are made out of. It's more spread out though when compared to the denser-made artifacts, so we can break through it... but it'll require a lot of power and stamina. Things we can't afford to lose in this atmosphere. Damnit, if this thing just had some weak points, we'd know where to aim our attacks!"   

The four surviving Commanders then suddenly charge in, keeping their distance this time and raining down missiles upon Loki, Thor, Madara and Domon. Zoro and Nicole aren't targeted, meaning the former can still try to inform his allies about what he saw.

Domon endures the missiles and begins to calm himself, preparing to activate Hyper Mode.

Godzilla loses some flesh from the beams, but he keeps charging on forward, preparing another Atomic Breath.

"Well, it grants me magical girl powers, of course, bu-" 42 suddenly freezes. Her expression slowly changes to one of panic.

Heh.

When the beam engulf him after he's done with the Commander, Madara emerges, with his Susanoo over him. Its arms snaps off and it looks like its been beaten to hell, but it has allowed Madara himself to survive. With a lazy arm swing, he wreck his own Susanoo and then proceed to shrugs.

When the beast fails, leave it up to the god.

Madara creates a wood clone, and it create a tree, which Madara jump on to get away from the aura. He make hands-seals and his own Susanoo, which appears over him, also make potent seals. His chakra flares up, while the clone deflect most of the missiles sent his way with a powerful Wind Attack, and cast a fireball. It pass by the wind, grealty increasing its power.

The real Madara continue charging up.

Zoro leap past Nicole. Aimfortheglowingthingsbehindthearmor! He warns, avoiding Godzilla's beam by leaping away, before kicking the air outright to come towards a weakpoint.

UI! TORA GARI! He puts his swords hands over his mouth blade and slam them down on a armor-covered weakspot with a strength to match a dragon!

"Magical girl? Like those one's from..."

Double grows concerned. This probably has something to do with that whatever-it-was that she mentioned earlier. She's probably keeping tabs on it through those cables?

"Are you okay? Do you need to sit down?"

Thor increases his altitude to evade the missiles coming for him, then looks around for any possible sign of the General.

"Is she...?"

Loki fires a beam from his scepter in a sweeping arc at the missiles, only to be blown back when one explodes near him.

"Right... surviving this ordeal should be a simple task."

"Wait, glowing things behind the armor? Awfully convenient, but I sure as hell ain't gonna complain!"

Sheathing Olympus' Wrath, Nicole transforms into her Draconic form and flies after Zoro, then unleashes a gout of Arcane Fire Breath at one of the aforementioned vulnerable spots.

Da Lounge

"Well, we uh..." Cyan started, before getting caught on something for a second before he looked to Blue. "Hey, does our world actually, like, have a name?"

"I... I don't think so?"

"Huh." Cyan just shrugged and moved on. "Anyway, it's really different to this place. It's two-dimensional, for one - totally flat - so it's pretty weird in that way. Or, well, to us, this is weird, but that's beside the point. There's also music all the time - you guys don't have that, right? It was all pretty peaceful, everyone just living their best life, until this guy Blixer decides he's gonna mess everything up. One thing led to another, and we kinda ended up here. Might bring some of the others along, at some point - I bet Green would have a field day with all the chaos around here."

The four remaining Commanders now decide to go after Madara again, seeing that he's preparing something big. As such, they dodge the fireball and fly up at him. Once they reach him and his Susanoo, they start circling them, unloading an entire barrage of lasers at him.

Quadraxis Sanctity now starts moving towards Godzilla, seemingly without fear, and starts blasting beams at the beast in an attempt to stop it from attacking.

Zoro's attack still doesn't do much, despite the force behind it. However, if he looks at the nearest leg, one of the current front legs, he may notice that the armor plating on its knee got damaged by Godzilla's beam. Perhaps, if Godzilla fires again, the added damage will make it so Zoro can break that part and attack a weak point.

The same thing actually happens with Nicole, with her attack not doing too much, but the nearby front leg having some damage on its armor. In this case, underneath the foot. If Godzilla is able to fire another beam, Nicole should have little trouble destroying that piece of armor afterwards.

Meanwhile, a bit further, suddenly the General reappears, but is in an awful state. It looks battered and broken, its wires trying to repair it as fast as possible, and even then they have a hard time keeping up. Its wings are completely shattered as well, so barriers are out of the question.

Mara, seeing this, grins.

   "I don't think I even need to get involved with her now. I'm focusing on the robot."   

She changes into her armored form◊ and charges up energy around her hands.

Then Botar◊ appears near Thor and Loki.

"What's happening here? Ninten just got assaulted by Hub Hikari, yelling at him to tell Pseudo to send me to this loca-"

He then pauses when he sees the Quadraxis Sanctity, and it's plain visible from his face that he feels small for what may be the first time in his life.

"Your Majesty! There she is!" , one of the Soldiers quickly yells, and the Queen gets up so quickly that her throne falls over backwards, running towards the screen.

"She's alive... thank goodness.", she says, genuinely looking emotional. "She... she needs to retreat right now!"

"The beast is charging another beam!" , an Officer says, making the Queen gasp. The General will never have enough time to...

Godzilla's Atomic Breath charge is faltered by the beam, causing him to stumble back and shoot it off into the sky. Out of irritation, he stomps forward and tries to smash Quadraxis Sanctity with his raw might!

Domon's Gundam develops a brilliant golden hue.

"I call upon the power of creation to purge this darkness!"

It suddenly glows a brilliant blue as Domon channels energy from the Tree of Life's shard, which he unleashes in a blue-streaking sword swipe at Quadraxis!

42's expression becomes less panicked and more stressed for a moment.

"O-oh, I apologize. I was... observing something, and I was worried someone close to me might die. Anyway, what were you about to say?"

The clone, who had been forgotten, uses Mokuton to help the branches deflect some shots. Madara's susanoo does hold, but he's slightly slowed down and can't use his technique fast enough.

However, the clone's Susanoo sprout legs and runs at the Commander, attempting to lay waste to them with a series of ruthless attacks from its blades.

Wait for the big thing to fire its attack and aim for the... damn!

Zoro jump into the air and decide that, dammit, he's not gonna rely on the overgrown lizard to do his job! He spins his sword to gather momentum! Aim for the damaged plating! SANTORYU OGI! SENZEI SENKAI! Zoro spins like a tornado and unleash three intense strong slashes on the damaged plating, intending to try to destroy it!

"A magic academy,huh?" Nebula quizzed as she sipped her hot cocoa again,"Interesting. How advanced is your world anyways? Like, are you still doing that horse carriages and steam-powered theme, or is it more cell phones and 3DS?"

At hearing this, Miles suddenly got an idea,"Hang on a second," He pulled out his 3DS and started tapping. After a few moments, he nodded and held the device out to Cyan and Blue,"Is this the world you guys are talking about?"

On the screen...was a trailer for Just Shapes And Beats.

Thor touches down near the General, then moves to pick her up and fly her off to the Throat of the World. Provided she allowed him to rescue her, he sets her down gently.

"I think we're well away from the battle now... are you alright?"

Loki rises to his feet and greets Botar with a nod.

"That, my friend, is what's happening here."

   "Damn... that's gotta be the toughest weak spot I've ever seen!"   

Deciding to follow Zoro's lead, Nicole flies towards the vulnerable spot she was targeting and attempts to land a mighty Megaton Punch.

"It's times like this that I wish I could turn into a full-on dragon, even for a bit. I've gotta see if that's possible sometime..."

"I see. I'll get backup.", Botar says, then warping away.

The Commander actually allows itself to get hit by the clone... because that means the other three Commanders have free game. They charge for Madara, two of them trying to fire powerful blasts at his arms, and the last one trying to go in for a slash against his neck, attempting to behead Madara.

Quadraxis Sanctity gets stomped on, but to its credit it actually manages to stay standing without its legs giving away.

Luckily this does have the effect of having it get pinned down, and this ensures that Domon's boosted sword swipe lands, dealing some visible damage to parts of its armor and allowing Zoro to break through it. A weak point has been exposed, in the form of the left and right side of a knee, glowing with a red outline.

Thanks to the petering end of Domon's attack also hitting the foot near Nicole, her attack will also uncover that weak point, which comes in the form of a glowing red sphere underneath the foot, which seems to be exerting anti-gravity, perhaps as a way to help keep the Quadraxis Sanctity standing.

The General is in no state to refuse getting rescued. However, the Queen, seeing this and misinterpreting it, suddenly charges out of the fortress, through the window, and speeds down towards Thor and the General. By the time anyone can even see it happen, the Queen is already standing in between the two, aiming the staff right at Thor's face and showing him a dark glare.

"If you dare..."

"Your majesty! G-go back inside... the aura-" , the General weakly says.

"Screw the aura! Touch her and I will turn you into dust! ... no, no, that's not painful enough!", the Queen growls, eyes briefly shining, with the staff also glowing a little. The General looks so concerned, but not for itself...

Double nods.

"It's quite all right. In all honesty, that's probably the bigger deal."

"It was just a request for clarification: I assume by 'magical girl' you specifically refer to 'being imbued with the capability to change form (typically to something 'fancy' compared to their base body) and display magic-based abilities whilst in said altered form?"

Domon turns to Thor. "It's not worth debating! Let go!" He promptly refocuses on the fight, preparing a Sekiha Tenkyoken imbued with purifying power...

Godzilla begins to charge another Atomic Breath.

"I don't really change form, I just sort of... have the abilities." 42 creates a spike out of metal. "See?"

Unfortunately, the Susanoo is able to hold out, and it deflect their attacks, though it crack whenever struck. Madara doesn't seems to really care as a result, and just continue charging his attack.

He does notice that the Queen is heading out of her ship and smile: Perfect.

Meanwhile, the clone's Susanoo attacks to use all three of its arms to brutally impale each Commander, and then attempts to crush and slam them together. The sky begin to darken, and a wide shadow soon begin to cover the battlefield...

One down! Zoro swings his swords at the weak spot to try to take it out!

"Fascinating! Do you know how that happens; the specific mechanics behind the formations of that growth?"

Despite his initial surprise at being confronted by the Queen, Thor nonetheless stands his ground.

"I assure you, I was only trying to get her to safety. Now stand down and get her out of here."

After Botar departs, Loki glances the confrontation between his brother and the Queen, then at Madara.

"He's not here by coincidence, is he? No, you clearly sent him here to perform some kind of sabotage, Set..."

   "Oh, that sure looks important!"   

Nicole fires an Arcane Beam at the red orb.

"Nnnnnnope. Not a clue." 42 shakes her head.

The Commanders are brutally taken out by the Susanoo.

The Quadraxis Sanctity suddenly shudders when two of its weak points get destroyed. In response to this, despite the fact that it was seemingly pinned down, it suddenly jumps, exerting enough force to be able to do so even in this situation, and then lands, sending a massive shockwave towards all grounded enemies. Which is Godzilla, potentially Zoro if he falls off due to the jumping...

And also the General, Queen and Thor.

The shockwave may be powerful enough to send Godzilla toppling, which would probably cancel out the beam, or send it flying up into the sky.

Regardless of how this all unveils, the Quadraxis Sanctity will then suddenly drop to the ground. Not beaten, but unable to stand up straight due to its legs.

The Queen looks surprised for a moment, but clearly doesn't trust Thor. That doesn't mean it's stubbornly going to keep standing there either, instead backing off with the General a little while keeping the staff aimed at Thor.

"If you even breathe in our direction as we return...", it says, eyes narrowed. It then grabs the General by the arm and slowly starts flying up, still keeping its attention on the immediate area around itself.

It starts flying up just in time too, as this allows them both to avoid the shockwave. They both look and see the state the robot is in, and while the Queen doesn't look too pleased, it knows what its priorities here are.

Botar, meanwhile, returns with the◊ Darklings◊.

"I would've brought Locke too, but I noticed the corruptive field here. I didn't want to take that risk.", he says.

A good distance away, not near the actual battlegrounds yet but close enough to enter the aura is the strange◊ mixture between the SA-X and Metroid Prime. Feeling a strange form of deja vu when it feels the atmosphere, it starts to go towards the battlefield.

It would take a while before it could get there though.

"Do you think it's like a literal magic spell making it appear? Or a pseudo-supernatural extension of your own capabilities?"

"School of the Undefeated of the East! Ultimate Secret Technique!"

"SEKIHA TENKYOKEN!"

Domon yeets a big ball of cyan death that could end up destabilizing the dark powers within Quadraxis even if it's not lethal!

Godzilla manages to stay upright, firing another Atomic Breath at the Quadraxis Sanctity!

"I think..." 42 looks at her hand.

"I think it's both. Without powers, I can't control electricity or manipulate metal - I can only hack other machines and secure networks really, really well."

Hmph.

The clone and Madara then stand there and quietly watch as the clouds over them dispel, revealing, above them, a fucking meteor. Big enough to mask the sun above them and cover the entire land in darkness. At least, Godzilla could probably climb on it a little, which hint at its size.

Machines built by the mere hands of men, behold the power of a bloodline whose fate has been written by the gods. Says Madara, dispelling his Susanoo. The meteor begins to speed at the ground, slowly going faster and faster, its mere approach causing the sea to churn, the sky to roar, the ground to crack and rumble. Madara quietly sit on his spot and await annihilation, putting his hands up to hold his head as he merrily wait for destruction. A colossal shockwave shakes the surrounding area...

The meteor is easily the size of a small city block, and can be seen from a lot of distance away from the Arena. It doesn't quite impact the ground yet, but people may want to get the absolute fuck away!

Heaven concealed.

Zoro's blown away by the shockwave and is buried beneath some rocks, ensuring that he won't be trying to slash the meteor down!
