Mara chuckles trollishly.
"Your barriers don't have to get to the level we're trying to get them at just yet. But I still want to see some results. So let's hope you'll improve quickly, because I can go without sleep for a loooooong time."
The three witch girls look a bit sympathetic and show Wanda a supportive but uncertain thumbs up, then fly back a bit while Mara cracks her knuckles, after which energy starts to surround her hands.
"Since we're on an unknown time limit, let's go through the speed course and kick things up a notch, shall we?" , she says, sporting the kind of excited grin that'll tell Wanda that they've only just begun.
"Get ready."

"Hey, guys! You seem like you're doing a bit better. How'd everything go? And can I get you anything to drink?"
He weakly gestured towards the array of ingredients he had out earlier for his hot chocolate that he simply had not put away just yet. Either he had been indecisive, experimenting, or he simply liked a very complicated hot chocolate, and it wasn't clear which. Inside of the lounge, the air was pleasantly warm — not sweltering, but warming and cozy. There was even an (imitation) fireplace, which seemed to be rigged to be active whenever some kind of heating unit behind it was also active.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousCyan looked over Rho's, uh, collection for a moment. "Sure, why not - Blue?"
"Yeah, I-I'll have something. Just..." Blue's eyes similarly scanned what was available. "Whatever you're getting?"
"Hm..." Cyan took another look, before his gaze settled on Rho. "You know, I'm sure you know a hell of a lot better than us. We, uh, don't really have any of this where we're from. So go ahead and recommend something."
With that out of the way, the two took a seat in a sofa right by him, sharing a large blanket. "So, we sent off the other guy - Domon? I think that was his name. Anyway, we sent him off after making sure he wasn't dead or anything."
Vs. Enforcer
"He's a daemon!"
Enforcer winces as Dylan jams a his weapon into a crack between his scales. The electricity surges across his body, hurting but not incapacitating him.
"AGH! 'TIS LIKE THE TIME SCOUT CONVINCED ME TO TRY AND EAT A TIME-TOASTER!"
He makes a wild grab for Dylan, causing Ami's next arrow and Rbade's lemonshot to fly wild. If he manages to get a hold of the dude, he shall commit yEET in the direction of Omega.

"Ah, I gotcha."
Rho dug his way out of the blanket that he had wrapped himself in and got to work on a relatively straightforward hot chocolate mixture.
"Ah, he's off doing his own thing again...? That sounds like him. I've mostly just been relaxing and trying to recover," he said, gesturing to his warded arm-wrappings. "The pain's gone way down since I got these things on me, though the stiffness is still there, I've been advised to not summon anything if I can avoid it for a few days... which is fair, really. I kinda wonder if I should maybe take up some... other kind of thing... Hmm."
He started getting some idea, but it seemed half-formed.
"What happened to the shards, by the way?"
Vs. Enforcer
Omega readied himself to dodge, keeping his legs slightly bent, as he stared down the Daemon, axe and UNO card in hand.
"... Sorry, a time-toaster? Does it toast time, or does it use time to toast...?"

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousRho (wisely) had left the liquid portion of the hot chocolate making process on a mild simmer, so it did not take long to bring to bring everything together. Once he returned with the fresh cups to the others, he could finally make a comment on the shard.
"Oh, I... I would be honored, Cyan. I... I won't lie, when I communed with that shard back there, I think I felt a kind of... connection with it. Beyond the obvious connection of having communed with it. It was... well, unique, certainly."
He accepted the shard as he sat back down, holding it carefully in his bandaged hands.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalous"Yeah, they work in mysterious ways." Cyan shrugged as he and Blue accepted the mugs. The latter started sipping right away - he didn't seem awfully bothered by the temperature.
"Hey, I just realized - who did the bandages? Weird question, I know, but you couldn't have done them yourself, and I doubt your summoned anything."
At that moment, the sound of some type of boosters would be heard outside, getting closer, and then just as they could be heard right outside the door the sound would stop. It was then a male voice could be heard,"Well, I think that went a lot more smoothly than last time."
"Only because we weren't going like a gazillion miles an hour, Miles," A female voice pointed out,"So, think we'll find any help here?"
"Maybe, and worse comes to worse, a drink or two can help us forget about that white-haired lady and her constant monologuing. I swear, I feel like her sweet talk was enough to give a toothache..."
Miles waltzed in through the door with his alien friends on his shoulders. Suddenly, a thump could be heard as the group turned to Zero trying to come through the door but not being able to.
After a few awkward moments, the Robobot sheepishly backed off,"I'll be...waiting out here." He turned and headed off.
"Right..." That's when Miles saw all the ingredients laid out,"Um...hey. Do you mind if we have some hot chocolate too?"

"There's an alchemist I met here, under some... awkward circumstances — her name's Megan. She did the bandages and these little bits of warding, and I gotta say... for someone not focused on the apothecarial side of things, she's damn good at it, given the time."
Rho then turned his attention to the door as the newcomers entered, and he said, "Uhh... yeah, sure! I don't think I've met you guys before but I'm happy to get to know you over some hot drinks."
He tried not to focus too the physical nature of each of the newcomers — he should have known better than most how foolish of a decision that could be — but Zero was... certainly a new one to him.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalous"Huh. So she's not actually a doctor or anything? Sounds like she's good to know, then, if she's that versatile." Cyan mused, before his attention was drawn to the newcomers. "Yeah, by all means, sit down - we're just taking a breather. More company is always good!" Unlike Rho, they didn't seem to notice Zero, or at least pay him much mind.
"Thank you very much," Miles got to work on making his hot chocolate, as did the others. He grabbed a bag of Doritos from a shelf and headed to the spot by the fireplace, taking a seat with his friends as they all took a swig of warm, melted chocolate goodness,"Sorry, I guess names are in order. I'm Miles, this is Nebula, Corona, Shyna, and the Robobot outside is called Zero,"
Each of those named gave a polite wave or nod in the others' direction, with Nebula speaking up,"Good to meet you all, and if Zero outside gives you any attitude, don't mind him. He has a tendency of being a grump."
"Say that again and you can walk back!" Zero called from outside.
Miles actually snickered a little before finally getting a good look at Cyan and Blue,Oh no...they're cute... The lad needed to divert suspicion so he focused on his drink.

Rho tried to adjust his back, but ended up not getting much done in that endeavor, so he simply sipped his drink and sighed slightly.
"Yeah... she's got her weird points, but so do we all — I mean, you saw the weird kinda things I summoned. And it's very good to meet you all — I'm Rho, full name Theodore Rhogal Morikaam, but Rho works."
Aside from his bandages and robes, the others would be able to determine that his demeanor was... sort of that of a college student who had finally gotten away from all the stress and the controlling atmosphere of his university.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousBoth Blue and Cyan actually chuckled a little at Nebula's remark, "Aw, I'm sure he can't be that bad." That said, they patiently sipped at their respective cups of hot chocolate as Rho spoke - seemingly not noticing Miles' reaction.
As the turn came for them to introduce themselves, it was Blue that went first, with a timid wave. "I-I'm Blue."
"And I'm Cyan!" He finished, giving a big smile to the others. "It's nice to meet you all."
"The feeling's mutual," Miles said with a nod as he tried not to wince at the sight of Cyan's smile. Seriously, that smile was so cute that it should've been considered a lethal weapon. Thinking quickly on a subject, he spoke up,"So, where are each of you from? Me, Nebula, and Corona are from one version of a place called Earth and Shyna and Zero are from alternate versions of that world,"
Suddenly recalling the story of Silhouette Mirage, he cast a wary eye over at the witch girl,"You...don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."
Shyna shook her head,"It's fine. There's not much to tell anyways. I was built to fix my version of Earth after a cataclysm split humanity into two separate races with special powers: Silhouettes and Mirages. I awoke, made some friends, fought my way to the source and reset the world. Job done."
"But that still left you in a world where nobody remembered you or would know what you did..." Corona reminded her.
To her surprise, Shyna smiled a little, though it still looked sad,"Well, yeah...but I didn't put things back the way they were cause I wanted a reward. I did it because I knew in my heart it was the right thing to do," She gestured to the rest of the group,"And I got all you now, so I'm hardly lonely."
Cyber Angel Fortress, -5th floor
The Cyber Angel Queen
◊ is busy zapping parts of the giant robot with the Staff of Navitus, seemingly to affect the outer plating. Two Commanders
◊ look on as a third one walks into the room and joins them, holding a piece of paper.
"I thought the robot was supposed to get sent out at the start of this week. Why is it still here, and what is her Majesty doing?", the third one asks.
"It was going to get sent outside earlier.", one of the other two says. "But then the attack from those mongrels happened and after it became clear just how much the General got damaged..."
"Mongrels? Monsters is more like it. The General held such a big advantage, as usual, but then that golden demon showed up. Where did it come from and how is it so strong?"
"Who cares, it was just as scared of her Majesty as everyone else, save for that suicidal brat."
"Regardless, that demon is clearly stronger than our General. And since our General was the one who defeated and captured this robot singlehandedly, some alterations would have to be made, or that demon would just destroy it on the spot. I don't know all of the specifics of what the Queen is doing, but I do know she's strengthening the outer plating and covering up the obvious weak points at least."
"Ugh, who puts visible weak points on a giant battle robot anyway?"
"I'm guessing its creators wanted a way to defeat it if it ever went rogue."
"Well, that didn't work out as intended, now did it? This thing was already taken from them before we even came across it."
The Queen stops, looking up at the robot for a bit, then turns to the Commanders.
"If you're done with your chitchat, prepare the room for lockdown, retract the drills and activate the fortress flight mechanisms.", she says as she approaches them, to which the three quickly bow.
"And to answer your questions, I did exactly what one of you just described, increased the size a little... as well as infused a bit of energy from the staff in it."
The Queen chuckles as she walks through a door into a hallway, with two of her Commanders following.
"Who knew that this energy and the Phazon inside that robot would blend so well.", she says as the third one flies up a story, presses a big orange button, and quickly flies into another hallway as metal doors descend, an alarm blaring across the fortress.
LOCKDOWN INITIATED. PREPARE FOR TAKEOFF. LOCKDOWN INITIATED. PREPARE FOR LIFTOFF.
The Deliderp
◊ is sitting on the bridge outside of the fortress, unable to go any farther due to the barrier dome around the fortress. It tilts its head as it wonders where those two guards are, they haven't been around since that big attack, even though the Deliderp knows they survived. Maybe they're taking a break?
The ground then starts to rumble, prompting the bird to jump back up on its feet, only for the shaking to cause it to fall back down again.
Deep down in the water, the drills underneath the fortress that had been drilling into the Arena since the fortress landed cease activity and retract into the fortress, after which thrusters emerge and start lifting the fortress up into the air. Slowly, it ascends, with the Deliderp forcibly going up with it, the bridge mostly retracting, but not fully, meaning it has an edge to hang onto.
Needless to say, it's not very comfortable in this position, flailing around with its feet in a manner that would be pretty comical in most situations.
When the fortress has fully risen, some wooden debris floats up to surface level, surely the remains of the Wreck of the Brinehammer that the fortress had landed on.
The fortress then starts to move over Skyrim, the Deliderp still hanging onto it but most likely too small to be noticeable.
Throne Room
The Queen enters the throne room with the three Commanders and is greeted by the usual Cyber Angels that work in there, including the General
◊.
"Are you absolutely certain you're going to go fight today?", the Queen asks. "If that golden demon shows itself again, you'll be in trouble."
"I cannot send our soldiers out there on their lonesome in the conditions set by us." , the General says. "Fighting in the vicinity of that robot will be a daunting task, both for us as well as our enemies. They need someone to depend on to get through that, and we cannot risk sending you out there."
"... very well. But if you find yourself cornered, you will retreat. That is an order."
"Yes, your Majesty."

"I wish him luck. But I also hope, for his sake, that he doesn't try his luck. One wrong move may end up with him captured instead." , Mara says. "Or a spy may allow themselves to get caught, perhaps due to being tracked, and then Thanos will know where your ally's base is."
She stretches an arm.
"Anyhow, I think that's enough of a small break. How about we get a bit more training in?"
She grins.
"I hope you weren't thinking that we'd be done for the day already. Because you're not sleeping until I see a visible improvement in your barriers."
