Awkeff looks at the portal.
Reyna dons the Ghillie Mantle, making her nearly undetectable to monsters, and steps through.
Awkeff shrugs and follows carefully, after which Tanjiro does the same.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."The three titans that were positioned around the woman were utterly decimated, their pilots screaming to their graves. The base was completely torn apart and the only thing that remained was one slave on the outside of the base, who was safe up until that point.
He was shaking, he had frost on his skin, and all he could do was stare in awe of the thing that single handedly just torn apart the base.
”F-Fuck... I-I built m-most of that...”

"Just a humble peasant looking for work~"The demon held out her hands, floating in the air in a t pose of sorts. The remnants of the base continued to collapse, sheets of metal collapsing and cracking on impact with the ground. She flew outside the base, landing in front of the last slave. She stared into his eyes, but he did not freeze. He felt warm, strange. She outstretched her hand, her soft charming voice piercing his very being.
"Come mortal, let me save you from the cold."
The man, kinda awestruck at this turn of events, shakily gripped the demon’s hand. He was frightened for sure. But at the same time, he was warm for the first time in who knows how long. He hadn’t seen the sun in months probably. And has lost all sense of time working endlessly down here.
"Just a humble peasant looking for work~"Upon gripping her hand, the man would slip into a state of mental tranquility unlike anything he has probably felt before. His mind would start to go blank, the only thing he could feel was the touch of her soft warm hand. Her voice echoed in his mind,
"Poor man, you have been through much haven't you? I will ease your suffering."
With that the man finds himself in a field of flowers, the sun lightly warming him. It was truly a beautiful place, perfect for him.
"Do as I say, and you will feel this way forevermore."
"Good... good. Your first order, refer to me as Princess. No more, no less. I rule you, but I'm not foolish enough to make you suffer while doing so. Now, wander. Go wherever it is you wish to go, my eyes are your eyes. I shall observe the arena through you. "
The demon appeared in front of the man, breathing deeply and exhaling a thick fog into his face. Once it settles, he is back in onyxis. Although he still feels that warm sun and tranquility. Krampus's daughter however, is nowhere to be found. She's disappeared. Itd probably be best to follow her command.
The man (Named Kelvin ironically) started walking towards the direction they had used to get into the ruins, on his way past, he found a corpse of an IMC pilot. The man grabbed the pilot’s firearms and went on his way.
He was tempted to take the Exo too. But he wasn’t sure if they were biometricly coded to the pilot. He found the exit and took the IMC elevator up to the surface. He would make his new princess happy.
"Just a humble peasant looking for work~"As they are dropped outside the Undercroft, the first thing they should notice is the door.
It's heavy and steel-plated, with several iron bars on the outside end, and engraved with glowing runes. Clearly someone did not want this door to be opened from the inside, while still leaving the possibility to enter from the outside.
"Didn't Alleria say that something lurks within the Undercroft, Fahliil Lokaliin? The 'dirty laundry of Farandare's reign', if I'm not mistaken," Viserys says, eyeing the door before them. "Assuming that's the case, we should try to avoid disturbing whatever this beast might be."
He moves to open the door as carefully as possible, not wanting to alert the potential horror awaiting their party on the other side.

Instead, nothing at all seems to greet them on the other side. In fact, the underbelly of the castle seems to be uncharacteristically empty of all unlife.
The bones of the armored skeletons usually stalking the passageways crunch beneath their feet, scattered all about. Now and then, they can stumble upon the remains of frostbite spiders, death hounds, and even the occasional vampire. They have been torn apart with extreme prejudice - some bathing in their own rotting guts teeming with flies, some relieved of their limbs, disassembled like toys.
Everything is silent.
"Understood, Bron Lokaliin. Reyna, take point. Tanjiro, sniff out the area." Awkeff proceeds in.
Tanjiro and Reyna follow, but Reyna moves to the front of the group and proceeds onward, hoping that if there is anything to worry about, it won't notice her (thanks to her Ghillie Mantle) before she has the chance to notice it.
The smell of death is nearly overwhelming, but Tanjiro takes a deep breath in through his nose, trying to pick up on the scent of anything alive (in a manner of speaking) down here.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""By the Nine... what kind of monstrosity have you been keeping down here, Farandare?"
Despite his visible disgust with the carnage before his eyes, Viserys nonetheless sneaks quietly with the others through the gore-laden den. Inwardly, the Nord Dovahkiin hoped they could manage to slip past the beast that called this place its lair, avoid drawing Farandare's and/or Ridley's attention, and reach the entrance to the Soul Cairn with their enemy none the wiser.

They begin to sneak around. Both Beruka, Saizo and Samsara are quiet as one can be, and most seems unfazed by the carnage, though Samsara winces at the smell.
Chloé doesn't mind it though, and take a moment to stare at the massacred remain of a vampire, though she also sneak around efficiently.
Rest in peace, Boss... huh, they don't turn into dust upon dying here.'

Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitterTanjiro may be able to faintly pick up on another smell. It still reeks of death and surely evil, but in a slightly different way compared to the scent of the corpses. In fact, it may vaguely remind him of the smell of demons in his own world.
As they advance through the catacombs, they come upon a room containing nothing but a single large and ornate sarcophagus. The image of a visage strikingly similar to the Solstheim Dragon Priests' masks is engraved on the face of the coffin.
It seems to be similar to the coffins vampires typically sleep in, but built much sturdier and heavier than usual, wrapped in heavy iron chains and covered with protective runes - someone took precautions so that whatever sleeps inside would do so for all eternity. Yet, it lays wide open, the iron chains snapped like twigs, the runes faded and inactive.
The smell of evil intensifies.
The sound of footsteps pierces the grave-like silence.
Something's coming.

Initially, Tanjiro says, "I think there's something alive down here. Alive and malevolent."
When they get to the coffin, he briefly gasps, as does Awkeff. Reyna simply looks indifferent, but when she hears the footsteps, she tries to hide behind the coffin - just in case whatever is approaching has some form of extrasensory perception that would allow it to notice her.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""Is that... a Dragon Priest mask? I swear, if Farandare has one of those at her disposal..."
At the sound of footsteps breaking the silence that had permeated the bloodsoaked lair mere moments ago, Viserys curses under his breath and looks to his allies.
"Damn it... everybody hide, now."
Acting quickly, he moves to take Awkeff by the hand and bring her along with him as he takes cover behind the corpse of a frostbite spider.
"For once in my life, I can honestly say I'm glad to see one of these things..."

Awkeff gets serious. "We're all here, we're all ready. Let’s go in now."
