RED resumes his advance, opening his maw horrifyingly wide. More fish swim out of his gullet, swarming and biting at Beowulf.

With one last push, Mario reaches Melissa's cube and clambers onto it. Instead of continuing to run, he stays by the edge and reaches out with one arm, ready to throw the others ahead to give them a boost once they reach it.

Incineroar reaches the cube and is passed forward by Mario, only to realize Beowulf is still in the water behind it. It makes a vaguely-panicked vocalization, frozen by uncertainty.

Beowulf is being swarmed by piranha-monsters, unable to reach the ice block in time.

Angel stops and gasps underwater, turning around to try and help him, but he pushes her away.

She reluctantly takes Mario's hand and gets thrown ahead.

Ryoma, Xander and Frederick dash forward, attempting to quickly push the fishes away to save Beowulf (with Xander using his sword to do so) while attempting to reach Mario.

Noctilum, Ruins of Troa's Underwater Base

"True, but their interpretation of me never seems to mature or learn his lesson throughout these insane myths," Thor replies, tossing a few other robots to Cinke as they ascend the elevator shaft. "Though I suppose his Odin was too preoccupied with mutilating himself for knowledge to bother teaching his son about discipline. Ah, but perhaps I shouldn't be overly concerned with the speculation of ancient Midgardians, regardless of how bizarre their tales may be."

He snickers to himself.

"I mean, Loki fathering an oversized serpent and a giant bloody wolf?! I shudder to imagine just how painful birthing those monsters must have been for that giantess..."

No, the wolf was small, remember ? she says. Old legends hardly make sense, but then again, who am I to talk ? I move planets.

"Heh... On that, we couldn't agree more, Lady Cinke."

Once he's reached the top of the elevator shaft, Thor extends a hand towards Cinke, then pulls her up to join him if she takes it.

She just moves past him, nodding for his attempted assistance, and walk deeper inside the hallway.

Thor simply follows Cinke down the hallway.

"Unless I'm severely misremembering our break-in, we ought to be coming up on the base's final room, yes?"

It'd make sense after all that clobbering. is her reply. She picks up a few turrets, transporting them back to her base with a ray gun.

"You know, I was actually half-expecting something or someone to be lurking within these ruins, waiting for an opportunity to attack us," Thor says, walking into the base's final room (presumably the one where Neuff, Lesovikk, Nicole and co. had fought Morpho Knight) while Cinke works on teleporting a few turrets. "Needless to say, I'm quite pleased that things have been going smoothly thus far."

That would've been fun, but I'd rather take down yet another spirit instead of confronting some primitive cave dweller.

"I was thinking more along the lines of 'shadowy monster cloaked in darkness' than cave dweller, though I would much rather be ending Galeem and Dharkon than wasting time fighting such a beast."

Once they've reached the final room, Thor looks around for anything Cinke might be able to create weapons from.

It's... just competely ruined, nothing of worth down there.

Cinke shrugs and jump up towards the night sky.

"Of course, this room took the brunt of Troa's insane tantrum..."

Shaking his head, Thor proceeds to fly after Cinke.

Well, this was nice. says Cinke, dusting herself off and landing atop a tall hill.

Thor lands beside Cinke upon the hill, smiling as he claps her on the shoulder.

"Indeed. We've gathered the resources needed for you to create new weapons, revisited the site where Troa's downfall began, had the chance to enjoy each other's company... Overall, I'd say our voyage was a successful one."

Yes, but nothing too much. she says. Oh well, it was good for nostalgia as you said.

"A scientist as clever as yourself should still be able to craft powerful enough weapons from what we've salvaged," Thor assures Cinke. "If anything we've gathered can be fashioned into blades, I could even stop by Nidavellir and have them forged into swords, axes, daggers, you name it."

Of course, though even then, I guess I'll ask Troa where she found those and get them. she says. After crafting the remains into weapons.

"Very well. Until such time, however, what say we return to your laboratory, stash away the findings, and use the VR room for a sparring session?" Thor offers. "Unless you had something else in mind, that is."

I'll get to work on the weapons, though you may access the VR room. she replies, as her glasses light up.

Thor nods in response, smiling slightly.

"Of course, if you'd like to join me after finishing the weapons, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to it."

She shrugs and departs with a jump.

Thor proceeds to fly after Cinke.

The piranhas are disrupted by the Shepherds' charge, allowing the latter and Beowulf to escape onto the ice, after which Mario throws them ahead.

Melissa moves the ice block forward 5 meters just as RED blasts it with another gout of hellfire, melting part of it. Mario barely jumps in time to land on the still-frozen part.

The ice block has been reduced by 3 meters.
