Flint listens to Tobaja's explanation.
"I see. I better watch out for those guys then." He says.
He then groans as he scratches his own head.
"I don't know. Time is so confusing here. Let's hope you are right."
Flint then looks up and adjusts his hat.
"I'll follow your suggestion then. Don't have a better plan for a now." He says and starts to walk away. He turns towards Tobajas for a moment.
"Thanks. Good luck to you too." Flint says as he turns and walks away.
Fuel does a fistbump in the air in victory. His plan had worked.
Nana rejoins him and the two follow Mr. Pew Pew into the next room. They look confused by the golf course, having never seen anything like it, not even in New Pork City. They get their board and don't really know what to do.
"Um... maybe... this?"
She puts her hands on the launcher, finding it that it can be angled.
"Now how does this-"
She accidentally fires the ball inside, without having really checked if it'd be going for at least two similarly colored balls.
BE!Tobajas smiles as he nods to say goodbye. Once Flint has left, he sinks into the ground, as it is his usual mode of getting from one place to another safely.

"If it's city-sized, then we should easily be able to spot it from the air — unless it is also wrapped inside of a demiplane. That would be mildly annoying."
He slowly spread his wings, producing a few pops as he worked the stiffness out of them.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousOnce he's finished embracing Amber, Viserys offers her a smile.
"Personally, I wouldn't mind putting that theory to the test. Nonetheless, here's one important thing that's happened to me: I met and befriended another Dragonborn named Awkeff, she's a High Elf who possesses abilities and weapons I've never seen before. We've actually made camp not too far from here, should you ever wish to meet her yourself."
He looks over to Travis.
"Heh, I certainly wouldn't mind a quick meal."
His gaze then flickers to Alex, and he flashes him a good-natured smirk.
"And to think, I was initially planning to tell you off for being so ungrateful. Though knowing Shinui here, I imagine he's already lectured you for it several times over."
Finally, the Nord Dragonborn glances at Topaz, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Oh, really? That sounds like a good idea. We won't be staying around this area for long though, but we'll be staying in the Arena for a while, at least until Alex has fully recovered again. I hope we'll get a chance to meet her. She sounds nice."
She then slightly smirks.
"Maybe she's a good match for you too.", she teasingly says.
Alex, meanwhile, glances at Shinui.
"Hm-hm.", he nods.
Hey now, I haven't been on your case all the time about it, especially not at the start of your recovery. I'm a demon, but I'm not that cruel., Shinui says.
"I suppose.", Alex smirks.
"Alright, let's get a bite to eat then."
He turns to the hill.
"Linda, Norm! We're going over to the helicopter, okay?", he calls out, and the two of them appear in view, headed towards the group as Travis and Amber start to walk, supporting Alex form both sides to make it easier for him to walk too.
"Now that you know Viserys is free, will you take it down a notch and actually rest a little, as we've all been telling you to?", he asks Alex, who glances away, but nods.
"I guess that's for the best, yeah.", he admits.
They get to Topaz, who doesn't start following them until after Viserys has passed her too. Only then does she float after them.
"Oh, Viserys, have you met Topaz?", Alex asks, smiling as he tries to turn his head to look at Viserys. "We fought against Ganon together. He's one of Dharkon's minions. Anyhow, Topaz is kind of the reason I survived."
"Oh, we've actually met, yeah.", Topaz answers Alex for both her and Viserys, then turns towards the latter.
"I've been stuck to this boy because I couldn't undo the bond until he woke up. It was for the best though, according to that purple-haired woman, Alex would've probably died without the buffs I provided."
Dark Realm, Sacred Land
A G.E.M. military helicopter flies through the entrance from the Dark Realm, headed for Ganon's Castle. Once it lands, about 10 agents get out of it, turning off the bike's defense systems before they start to load it inside the helicopter.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."Oh, I have a feeling that you'd get along exceptionally well with her. Awkeff is definitely noble, yet she's not without her mischievous side," Viserys explains to Amber before fixing her with an odd look as they walk. "And... what's this about her possibly being a good match for me?"
He then looks towards Topaz.
"Yes, I remember you approaching me and Awkeff prior to our clash with Galeem's final minion. Did you choose to partner up with Alex for the same reason you joined us, may I ask? Come to think of it, why exactly did you pick us out of everyone else who was present that day?"
The draconid paused for a moment, and nodded. "I don't much like relying on others, but I will admit that, at times, others can be useful. Hmmmm.... Perhaps we should simply do that first? Information is a powerful tool, after all."

The Fallen Knight looks to the sky, watching Iron Man from underneath the shade of a tree. Etieagan had seen nothing like it before. He steps out of the brush, and casually strolls forward towards Banner and Mantis swapping his vision from the ground to the air. His cloak flowed with a very light breeze. His footsteps could be heard loudly, he was obviously not trying to be quiet. As he got closer he looked to Mantis, puzzled by her physical appearance. He stops a few feet behind them, and continues staring at Iron Man.... without saying a word.
Amber shows another teasing smirk.
"Hm... who knows? Judging by your description I think you'd fit well together~"
Travis laughs a little.
"Honey, don't try to play matchmaker again."
"But it's fun~"
Alex groans in that typical teenager way when love is being discussed, though there's a hint of amusement on his face as well.
Topaz floats around Viserys.
"No, the reasons differ. As for you... well, there was someone else present in that big group that I would... rather stay away from. But I also knew that I could not make a difference on my own. Then I found you, some distance away from the person I'm avoiding, so... pretty much that."
They then reach to the helicopter. Travis and Amber carefully put Alex down, then sit down themselves. Norm and Linda get inside the helicopter.
"We'll take a quick look at what's at the menu, children.", she smirks before closing the door. Alex leans back against the side of the helicopter's skids.
"Man, Linda can be a little weird sometimes. And intimidating too, if she wants to be."
He then looks at Viserys as Topaz floats above him.
"Well... I suppose now is as good a time as any to tell you what exactly has been going on with me, huh?", he says, a little sheepish.
After the bike has been loaded in, one of the agents takes some pictures of the Sacred Land's landscape.
"What are you doing?", another agent asks.
"Reconnaissance pictures. Mrs. Runihura asked us to make some."
"Why? This place isn't exactly useful to the company in any way. It's pretty much all nature."
"How should I know? I'm not high enough in rank to be told every little detail.", he says, shrugging.
"I really hope she doesn't plan to set up anything in this place. It gives me the creeps. There's just something about it that doesn't feel right."
"Me too. I think I'd rather be fired than get stationed in a place like this."
"Agreed on that. Make your pictures and let's get out of here."
"I think I have enough now."
The two get into the helicopter, which takes off, destined to go back to the Arena and, through there, back to their own world.

5 boards left
Both Fuel/Nana and Survivor now have their colored golf balls switched out for explosive ones... and both are in a prime position to nail the Cog ball directly with a well-aimed launch.
"Maybe if we project an image of it into the sky, someone will notice. Got any spells for that?"
Barbarich Desert
Awkeff is doing some solo roaming, having snuck out of base camp (and left behind a note) while Viserys was meeting with the G.E.M. crew.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""Can I try?", Fuel asks, and Nana sits to the side some more to let him take control of the launcher. He finds out too that it can be aimed.
"Okay, so... I think... like this-"
And he too accidentally launches his. However, this one is aimed correctly, though only through pure luck.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Fuel/Nana's Cog ball is struck and blasted off the board, clearing it and granting them a bag of Pixie Dust as a new board layout manifests.
Mr. Pew Pew glances over from his own board to look at it. "I suggest you hold on to that. It's a very powerful Toon-Up gag that can restore a lot of lost Laff, but outside Toontown, it's equally effective at healing physical injuries. And I've got plenty of Toon-Up at my own disposal if anyone else needs it."
Survivor blasts away his Cog ball as well, receiving a big blue cube with a circular red button on top. The underside has a trap door drawn on it.
"Oh, cool, that's a Trap Door. It's a strong Trap gag. If a Cog steps on it, it falls through the ground and then gets dropped from the sky."
Survivor receives a particularly fun new board layout. The entire board is like a spiderweb of cyan balls with two Cog balls, nestled inside it on opposite ends. And all of Survivor's golf balls are explosive for this board, so he just has to keep blasting away until he uncovers the Cog balls.
Mr. Pew Pew messes up on his board, 'overflowing' it, and it ends up being replaced by a new one with no reward given for the failure.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Fuel stares at the bag when he gets it.
"Huh... I didn't know we'd get stuff from this."
"Let me try again!", Nana says, looking like she's into the game now. Fuel skids to the side and Nana controls the launcher again.
Now having a bit of a better idea on what to do, she launches the golf ball at a few others, with it having a chance of hitting two with the same color.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Chuckling at Amber and Travis' remarks despite his initial surprise at the former's suggestion regarding Awkeff, Viserys casts an inquisitive look at Topaz.
"I don't suppose it was the... needlessly loud redhaired man and his haggard-looking Nordic friend you sought to avoid, was it?"
His gaze then shifts to Alex, and his expression changes to a good-natured smirk.
"I'm assuming it involves you realizing that whining like an ungrateful brat and constantly testing my patience was a very poor life decision, and that only my friendship with your parents kept me from lashing out, if not outright abandoning you."
It seems he's decided to take a leaf from Awkeff's book of mischief.
Survivor hits a Cog ball, but this board had two of them. Still, the second one is mostly exposed by his reckless firing.
Nana's board happened to be this one with a pyramid of yellow balls outlined by purple, and she takes out the purple outer layer in one shot. She could then hit the pyramid with a yellow ball to remove the Cog ball, but there's a problem: Neither the new ball nor the one she'll get after firing it are yellow.
Mr. Pew Pew capitalizes on the explosive balls granted by their board clears to get rid of the biggest clusters blocking his path without needing to use a same-color ball; by removing the ball the cluster branches off of, it loses its connection to the 'back' of the board, eliminating that cluster in one shot. He still hasn't hit the Cog ball, though.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."

The Skelecog stomps towards Fuel, seeming angry...
and then the confetti gun blows it into the automatic doors behind it, smashing it to pieces.
"... I guess that counts as a lure." Mr. Pew Pew finishes off the Level 11 Corporate Raider with a Fire Hose.
"Alright, let's move on." Mr. Pew Pew walks up to the doors, which slowly scream open.
Beyond that is a miniature golfing hill, complete with flag and hole. Behind the field, another door locked by mechanical arms.
"This is Cog Golf."
In Cog Golf, everyone is given a board of multicolored golf balls in top-to-bottom columns, with a 'Cog ball' on it. The players are given a cycling supply of other colored golf balls as well as some kind of launcher that can be angled in place. When a ball is shot into a cluster of two or more balls of the same color, the entire cluster and everything attached to it is removed. Whether by removing the cluster to which it is attached or by hitting it with one of the special explosive golf balls granted when an ally clears a board, they must remove the Cog Ball to clear the board.
You can only clear one board per turn, tops, and it's really quite hard to clear them due to both RNG and weird physics. When a board is cleared, a random Gag is awarded. I will decide the Gag given to a character who clears a board.
Clear 6 boards to proceed
Fuel and Nana end up with a single board for them both.
Mr. Pew Pew gets a pretty troublesome board and starts struggling with it.
Klug raises one eyebrow. The lenses of his glasses glint.
"Uh... I can handle that fine. Why...?"
