Thor just throws his hands up exasperatedly, muttering something derogatory about Thanos under his breath.

"So, now we're trusting and working alongside monsters that really shouldn't be trusted... At this point, we might as well find a way to resurrect that insufferable, ginger-haired arsehole of a Loki and recruit him as well..."

The Batter does turn to look at Miles when he speaks up. He says nothing though, and eventually turns back around and continues walking.

... well, at least he didn't outright say no.

Marx, meanwhile, hopes away for now, and Botar teleports away, accepting the fact that he'll need at least a little bit of rest before heading out. The Masked Man and Picky are about to leave, but the former glances at one of the buildings.

"What's wrong?"

"... There's readings coming from there. There's people inside."

"Really?", Picky asks, pondering on if he should go check.

The demon glances down at Vegeta, as there's a pretty big height difference.

   "Huh? Oh, I didn't see you there."   , he says, showing a kind of smirk that makes it really hard to tell if he's mocking him, or if he genuinely didn't notice them.

   "Do you need something of me?"   

"Well, you got the gang all riled up now, so that's something to be proud of, I guess." Nebula remarked with a shrug.

"Right.." Feeling he should focus on a certain god of thunder, Miles walked over and sat next to him, "Hey Thor, mind sharing with me what's on your mind?"

You'll do well with not disrespecting me.. but since you were unaware, I'll let this slip, for once. he says, proudly.

Set and Thanos eventually end their talk and Set leans on his sword.

   I will not do anything villainous to you or your team, yes. Nor will I do evil in the presence of some of your troops.   

How generous.

   You are right to be suspicious but you, too, empowered yourself during this event. And if my power ever raises further, than it shall still target Dharkon and Galeem.   

And I will casually allow your rise.

   Only if you fail, Mad Titan.   

At the sound of Miles' voice, Thor's gaze flickers to the boy, and he lets out a sigh.

"I don't especially trust Set, nor am I excited about the prospect of being forced to cooperate with him. After all, he literally introduced himself as the god of evil and chaos. Perhaps it's just me, but that's a blatantly obvious sign that he's not someone who can be trusted."

He folds his arms.

"And yet Thanos, in his infinite wisdom, saw fit to welcome him with open arms nonetheless."

The Masked Man then turns away.

"I suppose it's not really our business. Let's get some rest so that we can continue to fight tomorrow."

The Masked Man then walks off, and Picky hastily follows. Bismark is left on his own, and just awkwardly walks into the nearest building to get some place to sleep.

The demon raises his eyebrow.

   "... alright."   , he just says. He then glances behind him at the entrance to the Dark Realm.

   "Are you also going in there, or...?"   , he asks Vegeta.

Miles nodded along to what Thor said before offering his two cents, "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I don't trust Thanos either as I'm pretty sure he's gonna find a way to gain more power and influence from this whole ordeal. That, and...well, he's Thanos,"

It was his turn to let out a sigh, "But Thor...one thing I've been reminded of since coming to this world is that people are...complicated. They can contradict themselves, act completely opposite of what their title or reputation may suggest, and just...not at all be what we expected. Heck, some of them do what they do because they don't know any other way..."

"I guess what I'm trying to say is...actions speak louder than words. I'm sure you of all people know that," He put a reassuring hand on the god's shoulder, "There's no need to accept this fella or any of the others with open arms...but right now, we are ALL on the same side. We ALL want to survive, including a certain Mad Titan, the Batter, Mazinger Zero...everyone,"

"And to that end...we gotta be willing to put aside our differences, at least for a little while. We gotta show those gods of Light and Dark that we can do what they can't...stand together."

No. I'll train and then I'll get back here, feel free to go there alone. It's not my problem.

He blasts off, while Thanos and everyone else leaves.

Thor remains quiet as he briefly mulls over what Miles was saying, then eventually nods.

"Hmm... I suppose you have a valid point there, lad. While I still believe there's the possibility that Set intends to betray us, be it to aid Dharkon despite his claims or for personal gain, I suppose I can try tolerating his presence for the time being."

He pauses for a moment, then continues.

"And if it's of any assurance, Loki has been thinking of ways to deal with Thanos once Galeem and Dharkon have been destroyed."

He watches Vegeta leave.

   "... An odd human, that one."   , he mutters.

Seeing as nobody else adresses him, he turns and starts to walk towards the entrance to the Dark Realm.

Miles shoulders settled as if a burden had been taken off of them, "That's a relief, especially since it seems like we've been dancing to his tune the whole time we been working together which is never a good sign..." He glanced over at the Sisters whom were chatting it up with their Mother and Shyna was inspecting Zero from everywhere.

The young man actually managed to chuckle, "You know, I got a rather dysfunctional family. Two of them are spawn of the eldritch entity over there, one's an android of sorts, and the big guy is a sentient Robobot who's made it clear he's just protecting me for my power...and yet I wouldn't trade what we all have for anything in this world."

"Indeed. Fortunately for us, if whatever Loki's planning succeeds, Thanos will quickly learn that we're not his pawns."

Thor smiles slightly when Miles describes the companions he considered family.

"Meanwhile, my father is the king of Asgard and my mischief-loving, half-Frost Giant of a brother was my sworn enemy for the longest time. Believe me, lad, I know a thing or two about strange families."

He then lets out a yawn.

"Sorry, I'm just feeling rather... exhausted after everything that's happened lately. I should probably meet back up with Loki soon and get some rest, considering what awaits us."

Miles did a yawn too, "Yeah...we should probably get what rest we can because something tells me that when we head into the Dark Realm we're not gonna be stopping for anything," He headed on over to Zero, "Sleep well, Thor, and we'll see you in a little while." He would climb into the Robobot's cockpit and get comfortable, hoping to at least catch a power nap before the end of the world...

Thor bids farewell to Miles, then flies off to get some well-needed rest.

After the broo attack, Near shepard base

A young man would arrive around the outskirts of the shepard's base, with multiple burn marks, Looking around in the air frequently, seemingly paranoid. He'd have dark brown hair, and would be wearing chemistry lab equipment with arcane runes engraved in it. He'd fall down on one knee, having walked a long time to get here...

Samsara's head peeks out of the window : apparently, she recovered from her bout against Galeem.

W-whoah ! Careful ! Stay where you are !

The young man would smirk, looking towards the source of sound, coughing a bit... He'd speak in a strange language briefly, then switch to a familiar tongue.

"Well, Thanks for warning me... Not like I could make it that much further with these wounds..."

There's a green glow, and his wounds should heal themselves entirely.

We have means for those, but for now, just don't move, okay ? says Samsara. Help is coming, who are you ?

Outside the Dark Realm

Trellis stands outside the fuckhuge rift Dharkon had torn open, seemingly studying it.

He closes his eyes as his stone's magic is shaped into a rally point in the sky above, telling others to join up for an excursion into the Dark Realm.

The young man would smile as he stood up after his wounds would healed by others, smiling, and doing a quick bow... "Merci Madame, ou Monsieur. I may owe you a favor or two now. My name Is Charles "Chimiste" Bourbon. And you might be?"

Camilla emerges from the fort and attempts to hold her hand out, before putting Bouron.. away from the fort and out of the minefield with her wyvern.

You were that close to a gruesome death. she says, holding out two fingers, with a smile.

Eleven shows up, grinning and holding unto some advanced-looking American Knuckles.

We goin' ? We goin' ? We goin' ? We goin' ? she asks, grinning but then coughing a little. Sorry, I'm excited.

Trellis sighs. "Yes, I suppose we are." He jumps into the Dark Realm and looks around to get a sense of his surroundings, leaving the rally point beacon there.

Eleven follows him, and folds her arms, nodding up and down.

You're the boss, you tell me to do something and I'll do it, fair ?

"That would be two times I owe your group favours, then, and at least one time that I owe you my life. Thank you." He'd remain rather calm, while dusting himself off... He'd have green eyes.

The Dark Realm

To the southeast and southwest are impenetrable clouds of murky black; one cannot see through them. It's pretty fucking spooky. Faint outlines can be spotted, however.

Towards the southwest a silhouette can be made out. It doesn't seem particularly tall, or out of the ordinary for that matter; but something about the unassuming figure emits fear.

In the southeast... it's pretty hard to tell if anything is there at all. Faint scuttling might be heard by those with super senses.

To the north, the clouds have been blown away and holy shit what is that◊.
