"Right. So, even to this day, I still can't help marveling at how a simple trek through a Dwemer ruin led to me stumbling upon an entire city, located in this massive underground cavern..." Viserys begins.

The Sons of Odin can only stare in complete and utter shock at the vision before them.

"Mother...?"

"It... it can't be..."

"Mom... Dad...?" Wanda murmurs, briefly slipping into her native Sokovian tongue.

Thankfully, before Mara or anyone else needs to intervene, the three quickly manage to snap themselves out of it.

"If you're trying to give me more bloody incentive to destroy you, Galeem, it's working very well!"

"You honestly believed that I, the god of mischief, would so easily fall victim to that pathetic parlor trick? You're an even greater fool than I thought!"

"I'm no stranger to these kinds of illusions, Galeem! Now, me and the demon in my head would like a word..."

They proceed to hurry after the others through the void leading to the Final Destination.

Rumia is taken off-guard for a moment, but only a moment. She closes her eyes.

"If the Savior was not able to do it... then the likes of you will not do any better against Her. This is my cross to bear, now and forever," she says, breaking out of the illusion to hurtle through the skies into Final Destination.

Sombra, on the other hand, is momentarily completely entranced...

"Oh Celestia... You won't believe it, I have had the most terrible dream this night. A great cataclysm tore us apart, and forced me to take on the mantle of a tyrant... in that nightmare, I saw myself doing terrible things. Oppressing the masses, enslaving the weak... all the while screaming inside my own mind. Could you even fathom such a thing?"

Celestia remains silent, smiling softly.

"Except... that was no dream, was it? You already know that. Otherwise, you'd probably be joking around with me right now... playing along. Sombra, the great tyrant... isn't that such a silly thought? If only... if only..."

Sombra lowers his head and stares down at the floor.

"Forgive me, my princess. I can't do this. I can't face you like that. I can't live on like nothing happened, while these hooves still drip with the blood of innocents. There is still so much I have to do... Perhaps someday, when I have given back to the world a hundredfold of what I have taken from it... we may see each other again. Until then..."

He turns away from the phantasm of Celestia as his eyes well up with tears and the illusion falls to pieces like shattered glass from a mirror.

"Farewell... my love..."

Marx doesn't stand a chance against this vision, starting to giggle, then laugh, upon its sight.

Botar's rage and wrath fades in an instant upon seeing this sight that can never be. He's practically paralyzed, and that wary, watchful part of him that would otherwise remind him that this sight isn't real is silenced.

Naesala halts, his eyes widening and his hands trembling a bit. Despite his cunning, his ability to scheme, his awareness that this can't be real, he's completely lost. The only movement he's able to make is to reach out in vain towards one of them.

The Masked Man halts, taking off his helmet and holding a hand to his head. He enters a state of confusion, trying to make sense of what just happened, and why those around him suddenly seem to have stopped moving.

Callis' sudden transformation immediately snaps him out of it, and, seeing Callis fall down, flies down to follow her. As he flies, having heard the responses of others, he realizes what happened to them, and wonders why he didn't see anything. And as he wonders, a brief illusion does appear around him, but only for a second. He didn't have the time to see the details, but he swore he saw Pigmasks...

Shaking it off, he continues to descend.

Botar, upon snapping out of his vision with that eldritch tone, looks furious, and is about to roar in fury. He's then taken aback when he hears someone else proclaim their anger, and is surprised to find that this person is Naesala, who's now glaring up at Galeem.

"Damned feathery devil. I'm not deluded enough to think I can beat you, but as the Raven King, I swear I'll make you pay for this stunt!"

He then hops down without hesitation, and Botar follows.

Marx is the last one of the four to snap out of it. He growls at first, but then grins darkly.

'Laugh while you can, but that vision will become reality once I steal your power.', he thinks to himself, then hops down after them.

After Wanda's snapped out of it, Mara chuckles.

   "Nicely said. Pay him back tenfold for that little trick."   

...It was tempting. Very much so. The idea of a world without conflict or people living in constant fear...but in the midst of the vision, new images appeared to Miles: A certain trio of mages being obliterated without a chance to fight back. Heroes turned into enemies. The world being fractured...

Miles snapped back to reality, "NO!..I refuse! A utopia built on sacrifices...DOESN'T DESERVE TO EXIST!!!" The force of his words snapped the others out of their trance, in time for them to be sent falling into the void.

As they fell, the Sisters conjured either wings of lightning or fire to slow their descent as Shyna glided to safety. Miles saw Zero open his cockpit, to which he nodded and climbed inside, activating the Metamorphosis and Strengthening Black Boxes, causes the Robobot to sprout wings and gain blades on one arm with reinforced plating on the other.

The group landed together and glared upwards into the void, having the feeling the Lord Of Light would make an entrance befitting his godly status.

Nagato freezes, glaring at the vision. She twitches, but stoically resists any feelings of temptation.

”You… are the one who took the little ones from me. I will not forgive you.”

Xerulean… wakes up from his nap in Nagato’s arms. He blinks and murmurs, his stubby arms reaching out for vision-Keeby before his carrier pushes them down. He looks up at her before she shakes her head, and jumps after Callis.

Sporacles runs off with his knife screaming in pleasure, before Arachnolacanth grabs his suit with a claw to stop him.

   ”’Tis a false vision, hunter.”   

“A MAN. CAN DREAM.”

The arachnoidic dragon sighs before grabbing the diver and jumping down.

The fighters all come to stand on Final Destination.

Galeem's wings swirl around the platform, rising up from underneath it and joining with Galeem's core as it descends towards them. His wings meet in formation around his core before he wraps them around it like someone wrapping their arms over their chest, ribbons of light coalescing and merging into him. The air grows tense and the heat builds from his radiance. Then, suddenly, Galeem splays out all his wings, striking his signature pose◊ with a burst of light. The Lord of Light drifts over to a few meters above the edge of Final Destination opposite the end the fighters have assembled on, as four additional platforms take positions in the air above the main one.

Galeem

Galeem moves to center stage. His wings split from his core and form into four separate ring shapes circling around each other before snapping inwards with an audible 'click', materializing three white orbs with plus-sign markings on them in the air, placed seemingly-randomly throughout the stage. The orbs aren't doing anything... yet.

Then, in case someone was hoping to attack him while he was doing this, he teleports over to the northern edge of the soft platforms, his core hovering on the third vertical layer.

The heroes start on the south edge of Final Destination. The stable ground forms a perfect circle, and Galeem starts on the north edge. There are four vertical layers. First is the main platform, second is the 'soft' platform above it, third is the two soft platforms above that, and fourth is the last soft platform above all the rest. Galeem might also be a good bit larger than he appeared to be ingame.

... I feel like I made that needlessly complicated to understand.

We must not approach him carelessly. Could someone try to shield us ?

Goku nods, powers up to Super Saiyan 2 and creates a shield around the sheperds and anyone willing, before dragging the shield along towards Galeem.

Yeah, don't worry ! Though I'm gonna join the fight too !

Thor straight up attempts to slam into Galeem, hammer first, and attempts to strike him again with an horizontal swing !

DO YOU REMEMBER ME, LORD OF LIGHT ?! I DROVE A PLANET UNTO YOUR CORE ! AND NOW, I SHALL COMPLETE WHAT I HAVE STARTED !

"This is it..." Miles remarked as Galeem descended before them, "Let's win this and survive together, alright?" The others nodded and went on the attack.

Shyna conjured a number of energy-based boomerangs and launched them all around her in the hopes of catching some of the orbs.

"Time to make you pay for what you did to our friends, Galeem!!" Nebula roared as she started gathering balls of fire in the air above her. She flicked her wrist forward and launched her attack at him.

Corona leaped up onto a platform and began conjuring lightning grenades that would explode after several seconds.

Leaping up onto another platform to get a better angle to fire, Miles opened Zero's chestpiece and started firing a barrage of Drill Missiles at their enemy.

Without a moment to spare, Thor raises Mjolnir above his head, where a lightning bolt bursts forth from the heavens to strike the hammer. He then proceeds to fire said lightning towards Galeem.

"You've no more lieutenants or barriers to cower behind, Galeem! Nothing you do could even hope to save you from Asgard's wrath!"

Loki and Wanda, meanwhile, join up with those inside Goku's shield. The former readies his scepter while the latter begins charging a spell.

"I already know what kind of benefits your Spirit provides, Mara, but... is there any chance you could possibly add your power to my magic? That might just provide it with a boost."

Nagato deftly hops up across the soft platforms, landing at the highest of the points.

”Do you think I should transform.”

”No?”

She nods before holding him tighter. It is not his time to be a weapon yet. Nagato herself uses laser eyes.

Sporacles poses before jumping up, knife held high… and falling back into the metaphorical dirt.

“what does this vegito spirit even DO”

Arachnolacanth sighs before firing a bigass gob of webbing in Galeem’s direction, hoping it might do something.

Botar grins darkly, sparing not a word before teleporting over to Galeem's location as he's setting up his orbs... only for Galeem to teleport away again before Botar can land a slash with his sword. He lands on the upper platform, not really bothering with the orbs, and creates a binding energy beam, which he throws at Galeem in an attempt to trap him. Though Galeem may be powerful enough to break free, should Botar catch him.

Naesala transforms into a crow. However, he's way bigger than a normal crow, about 3/4th the size of a wyvern. If Lucina and Xander manage to notice this, they may suddenly remember the big winged shadow that helped them escape the collapsing stronghold.

Regardless of whether they do though, Naesala starts rushing towards Galeem, attempting to fly past him, then turning around to slash at him from behind with his talons, which are as sharp as swords.

Marx grins and grows out his little wings, then hops up to the left-most platform and starts kicking explosive balls at Galeem.

The Masked Man puts his helmet back on, analyzing Galeem, and not yet attacking. He decides not to rush in blindly, and instead brings out the Shield Killer, trying to scan Galeem with it. If he succeeds, and Galeem has any form of shield up, the Shield Killer will destroy it.

   "Huh?"   , Mara asks, confused.

   "... well, I can do that normally, but as a Spirit, I don't know. I'll try though, we'll need any advantage we can get. Give me a few seconds and I'll see if I can do anything. Try to stay in that shield until I know if I can do this or not."

Rumia and Sombra, intimidated by the looming presence and godly aura of the holy monstrosity, decide to observe what it does for now, with Sombra placing his signature golden shields on the allies present to reduce the effect of Galeem's attacks.

Hit starts the fight with his counter stance yet again.

Callis unleashes a Rush Ki Blast on Galeem's core.

One of the orbs Galeem summoned breaks harmlessly to a hit by Shyna's boomerang. Everything that hits his core makes it briefly shudder out of alignment, indicating that it's at least doing something even if he doesn't show it. The scan succeeds, but shows that he has no additional shielding.

He seems to register Godworld!Thor's boast. His wings detach from his core and fly up into the sky above before raveling into three giant drills that stab straight through the stage, blowing aside anyone in their path. GW!Thor is the main target of the middle one, but MCU!Thor and everyone underneath Goku's shield are at risk of being hit by the other two (unless the shield holds). After the attack, Galeem's wings return to his core, and he promptly teleports across Final Destination again.

The other two orbs flash white and explode into plus-shaped beams of light, engulfing large portions of Final Destination. Nagato, Zero, Botar, and Naesala are at risk of being hit by them, and anyone dumb enough to move into the beams while they're still going off is as well.

Thor briefly vanishes in a burst of lightning, transforming into electricity itself as he attempts to slam into Galeem in lightning-form, reforming into his god form and then attempting to headbutt him.

Goku strengthen the shield for a moment and it withstand the attack, though barely. Seeing this, the fighters rush off, with Emmeryn firing off a potent Thoron at Galeem while Noire shoots off arrows. Xander rush forward and fires with Siegfried, while Samsara and Lucina reach for the platform. Takumi stays behind the barrier, lobbing arrows at insane speed while Ryoma attempts to pelt Galeem to his sword's potent lighting.

Goku turns up to Super Saiyan God and the shield transforms, flowing like a liquid as he apply it into smaller spheres and put it on his squisher allies. Then, he breaths out and dash forward, attempting to hit Galeem with a punch that hit so hard, it sends weird, potent shockwave around the stage.

Neuff attempts to blast Galeem with a focused stream of Black Lightning !

Shyna and the Sisters see the drills descending from on high and quickly throw up their respective barriers which managed to withstand the worst of the assault but still shattered and threw them back down to the main platform hard.

Zero/Miles turned to get away from the blasts of light but were cut off and caught in the midsts, causing the young man to howl in pain as sparks flew from his Robobot. Nebula wanted to go to him but Corona stopped her, "No! We'll be caught in the blast too!!"

The power was overwhelming...but Miles would not lose, not now. He WOULD get his friends back! He WOULD defeat Galeem and anyone else who stood in the way of everyone's freedom!! He grasped the controls, "Let's go, Zero!!"

The Robobot's eyes lit up as it activated the Assimilation Black Box and began drawing in all the energy. It wouldn't nullify the damage but it would let them escape the brunt of it.

With the Strengthening Black Box active, Miles got Zero to take aim at Galeem and release the stored-up energy in a powerful Photon Beam with enough force to create a miniature shockwave around them. Seeing this, the Sisters nodded and conjured chains made of fire and ice to try and hold Galeem down. Shyna launching a machine gun style spray of energy bullets.

Thor manages to jump back in time to avoid being crushed by one of Galeem's wing-drills, then rockets towards the Lord of Light's core before attempting to land a mighty downward blow with Mjolnir.

After dispersing with the others, Loki conjures an illusion of himself beneath one of the drills, hoping to trick Galeem into thinking he'd squashed the half-Frost Giant. Regardless of his gambit's success, he follows up by taking careful aim, then firing a powerful beam from his scepter at Galeem.

"Got it."

Remaining behind the shield as well, Wanda continues to charge her attack, taking a moment to enchant Takumi's arrows with Arcane Magic as she does so.

The Masked Man puts the Shield Killer away, seeing as it won't change anything, then starts to fly, swiftly flying around one of Galeem's drills as it comes bearing down, then opens fire from his arm cannon at Galeem's core after he teleports again.

Botar throws a throwing axe at Galeem's core after he teleports. Regardless of the attack's success though, one of the bombs explodes close by him, and he's caught in the blast and sent hurling off of the platform he was standing on, though not off the stage in ints entirety, luckily.

Naesala swiftly dodges around the drills, showing incredible agility, then bears down towards Galeem yet again. While he can only really do what he did a moment ago, as well as use his beak to attack, he figures he has the power to do some chip damage with each attack, and all damage counts in the end.

Marx is the unfortunate one who gets hit by everything, knocked around by the drills and then blasted by the bombs, ending up falling on his face on the right-most platform.

Mara starts to focus, and Wanda might feel slightly stronger.

   "I believe I can give off some power to you, but I can't keep doing this at will, so you'll have to do with this bit."   

Light FD

Defense manifests a shield, moving in front of one of the beams and barely holding it.

Asura goes for another approach; He runs up the beam, feet singing due to the energy, and jumps to the entity's core, attempting a small flurry of punches.

Bowser consumes a Metal Shroom, but doesn't do anything else, getting hit by a Galeem drill.

Bonnie gets behind Defense's shield.

Pinkamena just smiles her bubbly smile, standing there... menacingly! She then gets hit by one of the beams, getting blown back.

Segata spawns 3 Mini-Segatas, who combine into Macro-Segata.

   "I guess that didn't work out,"    Arachnolacanth quips before ensnaring Sporacles with a few of his claws.

   "All right, you ready?"   

"Ready for whaaaa-AAAAAAA!" the diver screams as his new partner slaps a string of super-web onto him before yeeting him at Galeem. He waves his Thermoblade wildly.

Nagato herself basically has a ! moment before blitzing out of the way, holding Xeru tight as he squawks. She mutters, telling him to get ready.

"The orbs! Don't let them detonate if this abomination decides to spawn more of them!" Sombra shouts as he fires a magic beam from his horn at Galeem's core. Rumia, for her part, slams the ground with her sword, sending out a tidal wave of darkness with grasping shadow hands reaching out of it at Galeem.

Hit's counter fails due to not being in the path of an attack. He simply takes takes to the air with an aura of power and flies at Galeem's core, throwing a downward-angled punch at him.

Callis gets hit by a drill-wing, but flies back to the stage. She hunkers down in Jeice's pose and proceeds to manifest a Crusher Volcano, flying all over the place while launching Crusher Balls at Galeem.

Attempts to restrain or grasp at Galeem don't seem to affect him in the slightest. Still, his core keeps shuddering when hit.

He disappears as the light surrounding Final Destination suddenly magnifies and closes in, engulfing the sides of the stage in roiling waves of burning radiance with a constantly-shifting vertical gap of safety between them around the center area. Furthermore, the light passes through energy shielding or absorption powers without being stopped by them or even eating away at them, absolutely requiring evasive maneuvers to avoid being caught in it. The Photonic Wave will deal continuous non-flinching damage to those caught in the light (imagine slowly developing burns from continually standing in a fire as opposed to being hit in the face with a fireball).

Thor flies high above and his Spirit appears high above him, as his hammer surrounds itself in a small tornado made out of lightning. He shapes the wind around him, becoming a small tornado himself !

Goku keeps his SSG state and I Ts the less mobile fighters, such as Emmeryn, to help them dodge. She prepares a Bolganone spell, as everyone else dodge. Xander get hit a bit more but is durable enough to prevent it from being grievious, while everyone else is agile, especially Noire of all people.

Neuff let herself get hit as her hammer begins to shape and take on a large, more vicious form. Once done, she start to dodge too.

Xeru just huddles wise-eyed as Nagato dodges the attacks as quickly as he can.

”barf...”

”Do not.”

Nagato attempts to find a weapon for her little buddy, scanning the area.

Arachnolacanth frantically dodges as well, though he is unable to avoid some due to his size; unfortunately doing so without having the time to pull Sporacles back on to the stage. Poor chap’s going to have whiplash.

“i hate this”

Thor quickly rockets into the air as Galeem launches his Photonic Wave, his hammer crackling with lightning as he prepares a counterattack. Once Galeem was in reach, that is.

Loki quickly rushes to reach the safe zone, albeit snarling in pain from a few Photonic Wave-inflicted burns along the way.

Wanda manages to avoid the Photonic Wave thanks to Goku's intervention. Since Galeem was currently unreachable, she continues to charge her attack.

"Don't worry, Mara, I'll unleash my spell the moment Galeem reveals himself. Even though the boost you provided wasn't major, I do feel stronger from it, so... at least your efforts aren't in vain."

"Damn it all. That thing isn't even bothering with dodging our attacks. It's only teleporting to attack from a different angle.", Naesala says. He's then caught off guard by the Photonic Wave, trapped inside it for a good while before he manages to find his way back out, landing on one of the platforms. As such, he's visibly damaged.

Marx, being a fast little jerk, hops from safe zone to safe zone, most of his evasive actions being because he's making lucky guesses on where to jump.

Botar starts teleporting between the changing safe zones. As Galeem isn't in sight at the moment, he can fully focus on evading.

The Masked Man starts to fly around with his jetpack, though its wings touch the waves at certain points, dealing some damage to the Masked Man regardless.

   "That's good, I despise feeling useless. Anyhow, try to get someone to watch your back as you're charging your attack. The last thing we need is for Galeem to appear behind everyone and launch a surprise attack that will interrupt your charge."
