Inkling submerges into a puddle of ink, refilling her personal ink tank while inadvertently avoiding Piranha Plant's attack.
Ivysaur uses Bullet Seed, firing a barrage of seeds from the bud on its back... straight up, making it unlikely Lucina will be hit unless she puts herself closer than is necessary to attack it with her Falchion.
Lucina wisely attempts to look up, to see if the seeds will not subsequently rain down on her, raising Falchion to prepare herself for a round of projectile-deflection.
Tokza grabs the Poké-Ball and toss it down while Wendy finally recovers.
Piranha Plant simply attempts to drop a spiked ball on Inkling.
Kukri directs his attention to Ivysaur, shooting a grounded projectile at the Pokemon. If it hits, it would hit multiple times.
The seeds do not fall down after being fired. They just sorta vanish from existence at the peak of their ascents.
Snivy emerges from the Poké Ball and immediately blitzes Inkling with a rapid-fire barrage using its own Razor Leaf.
The spiked ball knocks Inkling out of her ink and she gets caught in Snivy's Razor Leaf, taking a large number of hits before escaping. She takes out a huge Splat Roller, then charges forward with Kukri and Samsara in her path. Anyone hit by the Roller will be buried halfway in the ground and covered with her yellow ink.
Two more Poké Balls spawn.
Ivysaur shields against Kukri's projectile before switching out to Charizard, who immediately charges at Wendy with a Flare Blitz that will explode powerfully if it hits her.

Lucina activates Aether and target Charizard with it, going for a first healing strike and then a second, sliding, armor-piercing one, as Samsara looks at Chrom, nods, and start to activate Ignis, blue flames appearing around her body as she slashes forward, leaping him above and attempting to attack her with a blow that kickstart a small blue explosion. It somehow leaves beautiful yet unexplainable cherry flowers in its wake.
Tokza dash forward to tank the attack for Wendy, who grabs her as she's driven back and uses Light Screen !
Doppio is near the city, arms folded.

Kukri rolls out of the way and rushes for a Pokeball, hoping to grab it and throw it to the ground, opening it.
Piranha Plant moves towards Charizard, then jumps and shoots poison at the Pokemon.

Def, you forgot to say a Poké Ball. Disregarding Snivy, two Balls spawned that round.
The ball Kukri grabs releases... um... a Pyukumuku, which just kinda sits there not doing much.
Charizard bounces back from the impact of the Flare Blitz, then swiftly airdodges to the ground to avoid Lucina's Aether. It makes a mad dash for the second Poké Ball.
Inkling uses the swift movement aided by her Splat Roller to run out of the way of Ignis. She then turns around and hurls a Splat Bomb at Samsara with all her might, so hard it will explode instantly on impact if it hits her.
There's the familiar effect of Time-Skip before Hit appears in front of Doppio.
"I have been unable to locate my targets. I apologize for my slowness, but it would appear that either they are not in the Arena or they fell victim to that giant storm of light beams from about two weeks ago. In the latter case, they are dead, and my contract is terminated. I won't need payment."

Lucina looks at the Pokémons and nods at them before going for an Up + B slash to attack Charizard and attempting to prevent it from reaching the Pokéball, supported by Tokza as she attempts to use Uppercut on the flyer. Wendy extends two tendrils from the ground but does not use them to attack.
Samsara ducks and charge, with the ink exploding behind her and marking her coat as she attempts to slash four times over at the inkling with her Brave Swords.
That's... disappointing now but...
Then perhaps you'd accept another contract. says Thanos, materializing with the cosmic power of his cube between the two fighters.
Edited by Bolded1 on Jan 14th 2019 at 5:25:49 PM
Kukri just stares at the Pyukumuku.
"Are you going to do anything?"
Piranha Plant, meanwhile, makes a mad dash for the other Poké ball.
Charizard dashes forth, being hit by Dolphin Slash and Uppercut but air-dodging back towards the Poké Ball.
Then Pyukumuku responds to Charizard's proximity. It uses Counter, and its insides turn outside in the shape of a fist, with which it bats Charizard away, letting Piranha Plant get to the ball.
Inkling shields against the Brave Swords, but they eat through her shield and break it, stunning her.
Hit raises an eyebrow at Thanos. "Oh?"
Piranha Plant grabs the Pokeball and throws it to the ground, opening it.
Kukri: "Oh, of course!"
He turns into sand again, this time reappearing near Charizard, who he attempts to grab with more sand and slam into the ground.
Wendy and Tokza look disgusted but Lucina, shockingly enough, is only briefly surprised, though she grimly goes back to the offensive against Charizard, with a slash.
Samsara attempts to hit them with yet another Ignis, jumping up and bringing both her swords down to create a blue implosion, scattering, once again, cherry blossom.
First off, allow me to brief you : The being is Galeem, the lord of light who seeks a barren, lifeless world to command. He wiped out the fighters thanks to a massive attack but is now hiding behind a barrier, leaving it up to us to strike back.
Thanos commands an army, made out of the taken fighters. Some are puppets, physical shells with all their original powers but no personality beyond serving Galeem. However, some are spirits, and they embue these puppets with their essence, bestowing their powers upon the recipient and granting them part of their own personalities. Once beaten, the puppet is freed but the spirit is naught but a flare.
Galeem's enemy, Dhakron, lurks behind the light and has already placed some of these puppets within his control. He will not appear until his forces are decimated or until, perhaps, Galeem is weakened.
Now that you've been briefed : I myself acquired two Saiyans spirits thanks to the help of the God of Destruction from the... "Fighting Universe". If they were to be grafted upon someone, than that person would immediately gain immense power.
Pokémon Trainer recalls Charizard, saving it from the oncoming attacks as she sends out Squirtle once more.
Squirtle charges up a Water Gun.
Xerneas is unleashed from the Poké Ball. With a melodic tone, it uses Geomancy, and Piranha Plant's body is covered in a layer of gold like a second skin. In its Gold status, Piranha Plant will be faster, more powerful, and immune to flinching, like a better Metal status. The power-up will last for 3 turns.
Inkling is sent flying by the Ignis, but now her Final Smash is ready. She techs against the ground.
"You want me to use one of these spirits to destroy Galeem and Dharkon, is that it?"
Yes... but in that case, the bonding will happen latter. As I've said, both are currently unreachable.
Everyone ! She's about to unleash a Final Smash !
Lucina's eyes widen and she step backward, along with Samsara.
Kukri summons a decent amount of sand to smash Squirtle; In this packed state, it will do serious damage.
Piranha Plant dashes up to Inkling before turning it's head spiky and swinging it at her, not skipping a beat.
Another Poké Ball spawns near Samsara.
Squirtle goes flying... aaaaand the Pokémon Trainer's Final Smash is now ready.
Inkling perfect parries Piranha Plant's forward smash. She starts rolling backwards and away from the fighters to get into position.
Chrom finally steadies himself. "Samsara, grab that ball and throw it!" He runs at Squirtle and does a forward aerial.
Pyukumuku turns its insides out into a hand again and waves goodbye, then vanishes, having only been used once.
"Then what would you have me do now?"
Simple. Defeat and slay the puppets in your path. You'll be paid handsomely for each kill.
On it ! yells Samsara, trusting Chrom as she attempts to grab the ball and throw it at the ground, hoping to summon help.
Wendy creates a Light Screen with Tokza staying behind for now... as for Lucina, she dashes out, attempting to reach her father.

Piranha Plant spews some venom, and then starts dash dancing, almost like he's baiting the Final Smash.
Kukri creates a ball of sand from the remains of the previous attack, bringing the rest of the sand on the battlefield back to him.
If Chrom's hit lands, Kukri shoots the ball past Squirtle and makes it boomerang and attempt to hit the Mon from behind; If Chrom's attack doesn't hit, Kukri holds on to the ball for now.
Out pops Victini, which flashes a 'V for Victory' sign with one hand as its Ability, Victory Star, activates...
giving Samsara a full-power Final Smash.
Note, when I say 'full-power', I mean the meter-based Final Smashes utilized by native Smashers and puppets are pitifully weak compared to the ones granted by a Smash Ball... or by Victini.
Squirtle gets one-two combo'd by Chrom and Kukri, keeping it from acting.
Inkling, meanwhile, pulls a Killer Wail out of nowhere and slams it down on the ground in front of her as it blasts a Wave Motion Gun of brilliant yellow ink, completely covering anyone caught in it head-to-toe in the Damage-Increasing Debuff.
"Fair enough, I suppose. Consider it done." Hit turns and begins to walk away.
Plant's plan has worked like a charm.
Plant rushes in, armoring through the Killer Wail as it bashes the gun in such a way to make it turn on Inkling, before shooting multiple spiked balls. It has full paint coverage, though, so there's that.
Kukri notes the Final Smash aura around Samsara.
Kukri: "Something's gonna go down."
He materializes another ball of sand, attempting to whack Squirtle near Samsara.
Now how does this work ? Wait CHROM !
For some reason, a ethereal Chrom, clad in his Great Lord outfit, appear and attempt to knock Squirtle and the inkling into the air. If it succeed, he and Samsara jump into the air and attack their enemies with powerful aerial slashes, using Ignis and Astra to cause a quick blur of damage.
They then slice down back to the ground and briefly pose, before Chrom vanishes. Samsara stumbles a little, dazed.
Lucina stares, covered in ink but standing tall.
Thanos port back to his ship.

Killer Wail doesn't quite work like that, and Inkling simply passes through the torrent of her own ink unharmed. She airdodges away from the spiked balls and through the ethereal version of Chrom.
Squirtle is not so fortunate and gets pulverized by Samsara's Final Smash, the finishing blow spiking it into the pavement and KO'ing it, turning it into a trophy.
Pokémon Trainer suddenly and startlingly cries out, clutching her head as light begins to erupt from her body. She falls to the ground.
Chrom watches Samsara's Final Smash with a smirk, then goes over to the Trainer.
Mewtwo starts charging a Shadow Ball.
Lucina hangs back for now while Samsara rides the battle high and head straight for the Inkling, noticing the defeat of one enemy
Piranha Plant pouts, turning back to normal. It runs to the Trainer to see if she's okay.
Kukri shoots a ball and a projectile at Inkling, trying to turn up the heat since one of the fighters was already defeated.
Mewtwo throws its Shadow Ball at Inkling.
Two quick boops from the projectile attacks and she collapses as light starts exploding out of her, too.
Then both fighters let out one more scream as the light leaves them, restoring them to normal.
"I will tend to their wounds," says Chrom.
He looks up at Lucina and Samsara. "Say, how did you find me? What circumstances led to our chance encounter?"
Galeem's entire form shudders as he casts off another fireball.
The fireball lands in the middle of the Barbarich Desert, creating an explosion of light.
When it clears, there stands a Metal Gear-esque military base.
The Mechanical Titan
To one who entered, it would seem vacant. Full of beeping computers and working lights, but no signs of life, from physical people or from Spirits.
Mega Man immediately warps in in front of the base.
Macready is flying around the Arena in a helicopter when he sees Thanos' marker over the base in Oblivia.
"What the hell...?"
He steers the heli over to the base's entrance and touches down just outside it, then gets out and looks at Mega Man.
"Hey, little blue guy, what's happening over here?"
