"Thank you." Awkeff smiles warmly.
"Also I'm very sorry if the graphic nature of the manner in which I dispatch those I seriously hate disturbs you."
She chuckles. "Galeem is lucky he doesn't have humanoid anatomy or I just might do it to him too."
"WHAT"
Captain Falcon starts roll-dodging away from Wee.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Gregor is also engulfed in the blast but at least Frederick and Noire survive, with Noire looking quite upset at the death of the mercenary !
No ! He... he... !
... I know that the circumstances are quite tragic but he may yet come back. says Frederick, heading for the trophy. This world brings back its deceased.
But still... Gregor... says Noire, very regretful. Frederick goes silent.
Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitter"I sincerely appreciate your concern, but fear not, I was more surprised by how you chose to execute Frey than disturbed," Viserys assures Awkeff. "Were I truly squeamish, I never would have made it through the likes of Apocrypha or Harkon's castle without vomiting, nor would I approve of you tearing out Galeem's heart if the bastard had one."
It does not seems to be working... hm... let us put him back to the fort and see what we can do.
Frederick steps down from his horse and let a very distraught Noire ride the mount as he guide the beast towards the fort, silent... and carrying the statue of a flamboyant man.
Nautolan picture belongs to Bonesmarinated on twitter"Oh? I didn't think anything could sicken you to the point of vomiting, though I certainly don't blame you in this case. And on a similar note..."
Viserys lets out a deep sigh.
"I'm fucking terrified of frostbite spiders. Whenever I encountered them in my travels, I'd engage from a distance or let Serana clear them out."

Awkeff groans. "Ugh, I know! I would rather every single Frostbite Spider in all of Skyrim be replaced by a bear
than face them all as they are."
"I could not agree more! Bears may be ferocious and a pain in the ass to fight, but at least they don't look nearly as... nightmarish as those eight-legged sons of bitches."
Viserys then lets out a chuckle.
"Plus, there's something bizarrely amusing about the mental image of a bear descending from the ceiling! Just try to picture it, Awkeff!"

She imagines it, all right.
And then she bursts out laughing.
"Just a... a bear dropping on your head from out of seemingly nowhere!"
In between spurts of laughter, she scoots herself away from the water's edge to avoid accidentally tipping over and falling in.

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Awkeff sighs a little, then lets out one last chortle.
Moments like this were always so rare for me back home...
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."NLA: Sparring with Rey
Omega used his Stand to help himself off the ground like a lazy shit, and then helped Rey up as well. The bruise/damaged spot from the warhammer was currently in the process of being really, really sore. It seems that the arena may have prevented bone breakage as this was a spar.
"Sounds like a plan to me. Man, that thing hurts... and I have a pretty good idea how Stand combat works now. Thanks, Rey," Omega said as he helped him up.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalous"Thank you, too." They make their exit.

Hotel Lobby
Offscreen, the Shobijin and Rhea arranged a bunch of furniture into a rudimentary meeting table with Rbade, Miles and Dylan... 'around' it.
"What's going on here?" Rey asks as he walks in, Omega presumably trailing behind him.
"We need to talk before we set out, just to get a few things straight. You two are the last ones to get here. Come have a seat."
"It's... it's nothing, really. Just... with all that happened back home, it was rare that I'd have a chance to let myself... be like this. I woke up on my way to an execution, had to run to warn Whiterun about the dragons, and... yeah, I hardly ever had time to laugh."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."Miles was in the middle of having a milkshake when he noticed the others had arrived, "Oh, hey, you guys made it," He set his drink down, "Yeah, one of the things we gotta talk about is how we're gonna tackle this mission. The barrier protecting the island keeps out the Shobijin and Mothra but it don't keep out anything else so Corona suggested we go inside, find the source of the barrier and take it out,"
He stirred his drink with a straw, "But I heard you guys had your own ideas, so let's hear them out."
"Believe me when I say that I completely understand what you mean, Awkeff. If I wasn't fighting to save practically all of Tamriel, chances are that I was caught up in several different power struggles, conspiracies, conflicts... The life of a Dragonborn can be very taxing, to say the least."
Viserys offers Awkeff a reassuring smile, his blue eyes meeting her own golden eyes.
"But if it's any consolation, I think you'll have more moments like this one to look forward to. Moments I would be all too happy to share with you, if you'll have me."

"Well... That was certainly a more... brutal demise than what I expected, but it serves that craven snowback right nonetheless. Heh, the Thieves' Guild couldn't have asked for a better member or more worthy Guildmaster than you, Awkeff."
Viserys lays a hand on Awkeff's shoulder, smiling at her.
"Trust me when I say that."
