Mega Man's Skull Barrier tanks the Nen card coming his way, but the hit causes it to dissipate as he slides under the card. "Fine." He throws three rapid-fire Quick Boomerangs at Hisoka.

Before Pietro has a chance to react, he's teleported off to the base. After a moment, he simply nods to Botar before making his way towards Pseudo, phone in hand.

Pseudo silently listens to Sombra's words, trying to create a mental image of his description.

His eyes grow wide when his data recognizes the traits.

"KARDAS!?", he suddenly yells, which may startle Sombra, not just because of the suddeness, but also because of how stoic Pseudo usually is.

Pietro, since he's closeby in the hallway, will definitely be able to hear him as well.

The cards, while not destroyed, are knocked out of the way by the giant wave of fire.

Coating his arms in Nen, Hisoka knocks the Quick Boomerangs down when they get to him. He then spreads his arms and legs, forming a Nen wall between them that glows with a pink color, it being his special attack, Bungee Gum.

The fire gets caught in the Bungee Gum and then bounces back at the two ninjas, all the while Hisoka grins like he's having the time of his life.

Dres uses her war fan to create a large tornado, trapping the fire inside of it and forming... a fuck huge fire tornado that could potentially hit everyone.

Epically enough, however, she attacks in the middle of it, with a giant fire-coated Susanoo leaping forth and attempting to slash at Hisoka with a blade bigger than his entire body. The blade, shaped in the form of a giant odachi, is followed by an attempted punch from the enormous entity.

Bokuko is inside of the Susanoo, looking at the flames. She raises her arms and begins to get whiskers marks and cat-eyes, as the heat turns up and the flames start glowing blue.

"What are you doing ?"

"Stuff !"

"Sorry, I can't fight to kill due to my programming! Use this!" Mega Man throws a Shadow Blade to Bokuko, hoping she'll catch it, then warps out.

Nearly jumping in surprise at Pseudo's sudden yell, Pietro proceeds to enter the main computer room before raising an eyebrow at both Pseudo and Sombra.

"Okay... guess I'll come back later, then."

He does stumble backwards a few steps from this, surprised. "Yes, that is correct. The base siphons away part of his energy to power itself, but even then, in a restrained space, Kardas remains extremely dangerous."

Pseudo looks genuinely worried.

"I heard about that thing, Porky warned me about it when I still belonged to him. How are we supposed to deal with it?"

He thenlooks at Pietro, remembering why he's here.

"Oh, n-no, you don't have to go!", he says, sounding unusually unfocused. "It's just that Sombra had some... surprising news to share with me after you sent me that text."

Hisoka looks somewhat annoyed that Mega Man escaped, though this does mean he can focus on Dres and Bokuko instead.

He gets struck by the fire tornado, having only created a thin layer of Nen, which means some spots on his arms, legs and neck get burns.

The stab proves more effective, the attack actually surprising Hisoka, leaving him unfocused enough to properly defend. As such, in his attempt to dodge, he gets stabbed through his tigh, only barely able to avoid being stabbed through his chest instead.

Then he gets punched and sent hurling a fair distance, crashing onto the ground. He quickly gets back up though, grinning in a more unhinged manner, seemingly not bothered by the bood that's running down the side of his body.

Saying nothing, only chuckling darkly, he leaps forward, not intimidated by the Susanoo at all, and attempts to cut Dres' throat with a pair of cards he's holding, which, thanks to Nen, are definitely sharp enough to do so if they get to her.

He's going to smash face-first against the Susanoo's ribcage itself, and while he does cut through the thick bones, they fail to cut through the war fan, which she raises in protection.

Bokuko yells and attempts to engulf Hisoka in the blue fire tornado, while Dres attempts to uses the susanoo's hand to grab and keep him stuck in the infernal tornado.

"Ho, a scary smiling clown, so scary." says Dres. "If you survive this, crawl back to your playground instead of trying to hang on with the warriors, you-"

Bokuko smacks her on the head with the butt of the Shadow Blade !

"WHAT THE FUCK ?!"

"Hey ! Don't underestimate the clown ! They're dangerous !"

"??????"

"Huh... looks like everyone's got crazy news to deliver today. Anyway, here's all the intel I found, you're welcome."

Pietro brings up all of the photos he took in the ruined bunker on his phone for Pseudo to analyze, in addition to the scroll Bokuko had written one of the logs down on.

"In all honesty, I am not even sure," Sombra says. "There is a good reason he is the gatekeeper of the base. At least we know the Eight Melodies should work..."

Pseudo ponders.

"Perhaps... we'd have to convince Ninten to help us out then."

He then looks at the pictures, reading through the texts, looking amazed.

"Log entries... these could hold various hints. Pietro, this is an incredible find. I don't know how you got these, but I'm thoroughly impressed."

Realizing he isn't able to get through the fan, Hisoka gets off of the Susanoo and leaps away from the hand before Dres' attack can get him. He then grins darkly.

   "Hm... I wonder what I need to penetrate your defenses."   

He mock-ponders.

   "Hm... I have an idea."   

He then snaps his fingers, and about 20 Nen-coated cards suddenly rush up at the Susanoo from pretty much all sides, led by Hisoka's Bungee Gum and intending on cutting through the Susanoo completely to destroy it and make them more vulnerable.

Dres ditch the susanoo, which get torn apart by the attack. Bokuko stays and gets deeply slashed at some spots, but she's able to toss the entire blue fire tornado at Hisoka that way.

Dres hides her hands and prepare an attack, gathering momentum.

"Long story short, I found a wrecked Assassin bunker and thought I'd take a tour of the place," Pietro replies, taking a seat in a nearby chair. "See the pictures if you're wondering how it turned out for me."

Sombra sighs. "He is really going to hate me for putting him through another ordeal like this..."

Scrolling through the pictures some more, he looks surprised when he sees the one of the block.

"What's this?"

Noticing Sombra's discomfort, he shakes his head.

"Don't worry, I'll ask it of him in your place if you want."

Not expecting an immediate counterattack while his attack only just passed, he has no choice but to cover himself in Nen to defend himself from the flames. In doing so, while he isn't damaged, he is unable to attack back right now, allowing Dres to fully focus on the buildup of her attack.

Dres's hands vanish and sprouts artificial cannon, charging up a mighty laser and firing it in one big blue burst of power !

Bokuko looks at her and frowns !

"Why are they call cybernetic ?!"

"That's the Asura Path of the Rinnegan."

"Ho !.... what's the rinnegan ?"

"Sigh."

"The only thing I know is that it's got someone or something inside it. Couldn't get a clear-enough look at the inside," Pietro answers.

NLA Industrial District

There are dark stormclouds in the sky above, blanketing the area in warm rain.

Weiss Schnee is standing atop a tall, flat-roofed building underneath the rain. There is a vacant look in her eyes, and she has the same emblem as Narktus' center chestplate embroidered in black on her skirt.

   "..."   

Ruby comes running through the streets, stopping in front of the skyscraper. She looks up at Weiss and grits her teeth.

Weiss leaps off the skyscraper, coming down toward Ruby at breakneck speed sword-first.

However, in midair, she is intercepted by Meta Knight, who pushes her against the wall of the building. They engage in brief aerial Flynning before hitting the ground feet-first and immediately jumping backwards, away from each other.

Meta Knight makes a beckoning gesture to Ruby. "I know the cause of this, and I want to aid you here."

"Oh... O-okay." Ruby does a Flash Step to Meta Knight's side. "Got a plan?"

"Not a plan for this fight. A plan for dealing with Narktus - that I have, and this fight will provide a means to enact it." Meta Knight takes his combat stance with Galaxia, and Ruby follows suit with Crescent Rose.

Weiss takes her battle stance, holding Myrtenaster at the ready.

Stains of Time

A Combusken is running towards the fight, leaving a trail of fire behind her as her speed begins to increase.

"Where are they ? Where are they ? Where are th-"

She glances at the fight and look around for a moment, before sighing out loud, with plumes of fire coming out of her beak.

"Alright, I'm feeling angry so I'm just going to punch the evil-looking girl over there !"

Weiss spins the chamber in her rapier's hilt like a revolver, then starts firing cyan-colored energy projectiles from the blade that fly at all three of her current opponents.

Ruby activates her Semblance, dodging around and through the projectiles.

Meta Knight puts up his guard, taking scratch damage but nothing major.

She's so angry that she decides to burst through them... which means that she's hit and driven back, causing her to look confused.

"Gah ?! What ?!"

"That would probably just come off as cowardly on my part, wouldn't it..."

"Hm... I'll make some printed versions off of all of these, but I'll make sure to pass this picture around to the other members and see if any of them can recognize the shape of the person, or maybe knows what the block is made out of."

He smiles.

"If you'll let me borrow this for a moment, I'll get them printed right away."

He looks back at Sombra again.

"I could play it off as something I discovered instead. However, if you wish to tell him yourself, I'll leave it up to you if you want. I'll let you choose."

Hisoka keeps his Nen around him for defense, and the laser engulfs him. Once it's passed, Hisoka's lying on the ground, numerous wounds over his body despite the Nen aura he had. He chuckles, then laughs in an amused manner.

   "I must admit I underestimated you."   , he says to Dres as he's getting up. His eyes slightly narrow as he seems to focus on her.

   "And I have a feeling you can still improve greatly. ... It'd be such a waste to kill you here."   

He drops his Nen aura.

   "I changed my mind. I'll let you go. And once you've become even stronger, we can fight to the death. It'll be... amazing..."   

Weiss takes multiple stabs at Ruby with Myrtenaster, then spins the chamber again and sends a horizontal wave of fire at the other two.

Ruby gets stabbed up a bit, but her Aura protects her from serious harm. She makes a downward swing at Weiss with Crescent Rose.

Meta Knight gets engulfed in fire and launched upward, but recovers in midair and performs a Shuttle Loop dive sword-first at Weiss.
