Sonic does a boost to try and bulldoze into Ridley.
Mega LEGO Build: 2/5
Maelstrom Ridley ceases his attack. He gets down on all fours as Maelstrom bricks form out of thin air and come together on his shoulders, constructing a pair of shoulder-mounted missile batteries.
Ridley back-dashes at a slight upward angle away from the incoming Blastoise. He freezes in midair and unleashes a widespread Macross Missile Massacre upon the Pokémon projection, Sonic, Rouge, and Rumia. They won't have to worry about damage to the construction this round - only about themselves.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."He waves after the child when he leaves, then prepares to leave as well. A flyer then flies against his shoulder, having been carried by the wind. He grabs it and reads it through.
It's a flyer warning about Ken Tahn. He's seen this flyer before. But he notices something new: a reward for capture, dead or alive.
He ponders about this with a slight smirk as he walks away.
"True, but I'm a little afraid to do so. I'll come off as rude.", Mani says.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.Blastoise had no time to dodge and was struck repeatedly by the missiles, his form seeming to start fading in and out as he lied there. Miles kept the barrier up as he thought of a decision to make. He could go on the offensive and buy the others some time, but that would leave the Mega Lego Weapon less defended.
He saw the missiles coming and created flying discs of soul energy that flew forth and blew up several of the rockets heading for him...only for a few to make it through...
That's when Blastoise, using the last of his strength, stepped in to take the hit, "BLASTOISE, NO!!!" His partner only smiled at him...before breaking down into soul particles and returning to the depths of Miles soul, "...Blastoise..." He gnarled his teeth and called to the others, "My buddy just took a hit for us so you better make his sacrifice worth it!!"
Creating a bunch of chains dangling from the walls, he sent them out to entangle Ridley's limbs, including his tail and wings in the hopes of at least buying just a little more time.

Doctor Gray (Grey? Graey?) is sitting on a rock, playing on a g̥̪̣̜̟͔͡a҉s͕̞͇͕͓e̲̳͍͖̜u̠͢mc̳̠̼̠̥̞̕ͅb͏̹ù̟̻̰̦̯̻ͅo̤̤̕m̤̻͎̬̭͍y̵̩̥.
He looks like he's wearing a certain hat
◊, and has a few balls on a belt around his waist (but under his coat).
"This whole 'objective range' is fascinating!"
/\。。/\Sonic spin-dashes under the missiles aimed at him, coming out of the spin behind Ridley.
Mr. Pew Pew and Paintra's construct now has some visible structure, with a central body shaped sort of like a huge platform you could stand on. It has three large, angular legs at the moment, but it looks like it's meant to have four.
Mega LEGO Build: 3/5
The missiles are "dumb" and do not have homing properties.
However, Rouge's attempt to slice through the ones aimed at her causes them to explode in her face.
Ridley conjures up more Maelstrom-infected LEGO from thin air. This time, it's katanas
◊ hooked onto clip-shaped pieces.
◊ Eight of these blades appear, then one attaches itself to each of his fingers.
However, his aura flickers as these weapons form, and he does take slight damage from the attacks sent at him. Seems he might be using up his aura to arm himself...
Regardless, Ridley strains a bit, but gets free of the chains. He performs a series of four advancing claw swipes toward the LEGO build, with his new finger-blades allowing the swings to potentially hit anyone else between him and it. If something is not done to either block or interrupt the fourth swipe, it will damage the build and set back construction.

Reyna is strolling around when she hears something about "objective range". She comes sprinting over and stops behind Dr. Gray.
She peeks over his shoulder. "What's objective range?"

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."The doctor-turned-pokemaniac turns to Reyna.
"Oh, hullo! Another Grey!"
He fumbles with his device, and stands up.
"The 'objective range' is what we originally referred to as the Grey Zone. However, with my ingenious discoveries and perceptospansions I have determined that it is no true zone, but rather an 'intersection' of an entire range of 'objective' space with the perception range!"
"… I'm sorry, you had no idea what any of that meant, did you?"
/\。。/\Reyna stares blankly. "... I bet the Research Commission back home would get a kick out of whatever you just said, but I'm just a monster hunter. Could you start with the effect this formerly-called 'Grey Zone' has on... whatever it's a part of?"

"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.""Oh, it's rather… complicated; I believe the natives refer to it as 'earth' or 'univarse' or something like that?"
"'Twas the simplest matter zone we could observe before i c̦̭̩o̺͠l̫̮̠̟̘̪͘u̡͚͔͎̝̩ḁ̲̻n̥̼͔̰t͕̫͇̹̼͎̥͜t͔͓̬͞ņ̖͙̺̭̗̟͓e͏̥ò͎r̺̭̹͈̩̬ͅz̳̠̗̭̗͍͇, almost entirely made up of empty space and with mere four-dimensional barriers between it and the nearest neighbors, and alternate layers existing in a schrode-state."
"I'd say the greatest effect it had was it's extraordinary deadliness: Not so much in that those killed were unexistefied any harder, but in that the background reverberation had an absolutely astounding one-hundred percent eventual fatality rate on the natives!"
/\。。/\As Ridley inexorably advances upon the build, a large pool of darkness forms in front of him. If he steps into it, he will fall in, if he tries to fly over, black hands will surge out of the pool and attempt to drag him in. Unlike the consuming shadows from before, he will take absolutely no damage from this, instead he will be shifted through a plane of darkness and relocated to the other side of the room. This technique aims solely to buy time for Mr. Pew-Pew and Paintra.
Near the cavern where the battle is happening, a young woman appears, looking inside as she hears the nearby sound of battle.
Brushing aside her cloak, she decides to see what's going on and enters the cavern.
After a while, having followed the sounds of battle to lead the way, she comes across a big acid pool. Listening carefully, she finds that she has to cross it to get to the fight. A strange symbol appears all around her as she vanishes from her spot, reappearing on the other side. She then continues walking, getting ever closer, but not quite being there just yet.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."I didn't get all of that, but if I get the gist of what you're saying... there's parallel universes where death isn't a natural end-result of life?"
Reyna shifts her stance a bit, and the three Poké Balls on her belt jostle a little, possibly drawing Dr. Gray's attention.
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."

"Eh, sure, whatever. At least you're pretty good at it!"
"I should probably go... later?"
