Rouge start freeing herself, using her vampiric strength to attempt to do so.

He playfully shrugs as he wipes away his tears.

"So how was that?", he asks.

Mani starts to ponder, looking right at her face.

"Hold on, I've seen you before."

She backs off a little as she smiles.

"Oh, you were there! With those huge beasts! I was there too! Y'know, that large lizard and that large fish that were causing the weather to go crazy!"

"I mean, I dunno. It didn't look like you took anything, even though you totally could've. And if I tried something like that back home I'd just get slapped away or dragged inside for dinner or something."

"I'd agree with you, but-"

He then takes a wallet out of his pocket with a silly grin.

"I did take something~"

Sonic is barely conscious.

Paintra is panicking and doesn't even seem to notice what Miles said. Her face is turning pale.

The monsters start walking toward Mr. Pew Pew in a side-by-side row with something resembling a Zombie Gait, then they stop a few feet in front of him, shifting around on their feet woozily as if stunned.

The Hypno Goggles vanish.

Mr. Pew Pew dusts his hands. "Now, this may not have taken care of the dragon's aura, but while they're lured, they're easy pickings. Light 'em up!"

Rather than join in on the coming attack, he looks over at Sonic. Then he pulls out a Lipstick with which he somehow creates a giant pair of floating lips. He makes a "blowing a kiss" motion at Sonic, sending the lips through the air to reach the hedgehog.

His eyes sparkle.

"Oooo!"

"Howd'ja do it?"

"When I made him look around, as I went to grab his sleeve, I slipped my hand into his pocket for just a moment.", he says. "I'm pretty fast, and I figured that, if I made him more uncomfortable by not knowing how to handle me, he wouldn't notice as easily. And even if he'd felt something, my yelling would attract enough attention from bystanders that'd make him unable to focus on anything but keeping the situation under control."

He smiles a little bashfully.

"So... um, was that good?"

Nicole instinctively backs away when Mani demonstrates her lack of a sense for people's personal space, then fixes her with an inquisitive look.

"Really? That's funny, I don't remember seeing you there. Of course, I was kinda busy making sure Groudon and Kyogre didn't wreck the damn place; that, and things like the crazy Nordic dude were also a bit distracting."

"Yes! It probably wouldn't work back home, but then again we aren't there anyways."

He then rears up, trying and failing to look super serious.

"It's gonna be a lot harder stealing from people with super senses, though."

Rouge draws the splattered blood in the area to her hands, forming a huge blood scythe. Grinning, she leap and slash at the monsters !

He looks thrilled. Then he tilts his head.

"Then... we can just avoid those people, right?"

"I was protecting another person there. I can make powerful energy shields, and I used them to defend her."

Noticing the Spiderlings were all stunned, Miles decided to vent some of his anger by holding out his/her palm towards the Spiderlings and generating light energy within it which grew to several times the size of a volley ball before he hurled it forward, the attack splitting off into a swarm of smaller but still very deadly spheres.

He then hurled another one right towards Ridley's face, "That was for Sonic!!"

He shrugs.

"We could. I won't. I gotta test my ''skills, yo!"

"Plus, they usually have the coolest stuff."

"Yeah, but if those kinds of people catch us, we're in big trouble.", he says, looking worried.

"Yeah, but we have Miss Neuff!"

"also I starved to death earlier... but then I came back."

"Ah, no wonder I never caught sight of ya," Nicole replies. "Mind telling me who this lady you were backing up during the fight was?"

The stunned spiderlings are devoured by the hungry shadows within seconds, and the ground vomits their parts. Seeing as no one is able to do anything much to actually damage Ridley, Rumia summons her shadow arms to gather and assemble these pieces, with a few larger ones from the Spider Queen. Her creation, built in a hurry, is nowhere near the level of intricacy of Pew-Pew's cuckoo clock, it seems to be nothing more than an enormous mallet or sledgehammer that Rumia grabs. A pair of black wings forms at her back and propels her at great speed towards Ridley, and with all the momentum of her charge she slams the improvised weapon into Ridley's ugly transfixed face. Assuming this bypasses the barrier, it's almost guaranteed to knock out a good half of the abomination's teeth.

He glances away awkwardly.

"... would she help us if we got ourselves into that kind of mess?", he asks, sounding unsure. He then looks horrified.

"Wait, what!? B-but miss Neuf said there's free food around here, how did you starve!?"

"Well, she..."

She pauses.

"... um... I... don't exactly remember her name. I'm not super good with names."

She looks upset.

"Oh, now I feel bad. We got along so well and I forgot her name like a jerk."

More bludgeoning methods won't break Maelstrom Ridley's aura, especially not if you're just using your imagination to create a big handheld weapon.

The hammer explodes back into LEGO pieces on impact with the aura, but Ridley is also sent flying across the cavern. Seems it did some damage regardless, but the aura did not dissipate.

Mr. Pew Pew starts taking all the pieces strewn about the cavern and throwing them together to create... something. It's big - bigger than even the Spider Queen was - and it's surrounded in the bright light of imagination. What color is the light? That's up to your imagination.

As Mr. Pew Pew starts adding bricks to the construct, Paintra moves in and starts recoloring them, seemingly not even realizing what she's doing - almost like she's in a trance.

The lips reach Sonic, and his wound closes up a good bit the moment they touch him. He also snickers a little. He gets up and looks at the build-in-progress. "Whoa... What are you guys making?"

"I'm not even sure! Now let me focus!"

Maelstrom Ridley is no longer stunned. He exhales a sweeping torrent of flame across the area. If he hits the build-in-progress, he will set back its construction by a round.

"Hey, don't worry your quirky little head about it, kid. Just cuz you don't remember her name doesn't mean you're a monster," Nicole says, smiling slightly. "How about you tell me what she looked like or if she had any cool powers?"

Rumia, realizing that Mr. Pew-Pew is likely going to be their winning ticket, throws herself between the flames and his construction, furling her ethereal black wings around herself to create a shadow barrier in order to block the fire. This comes at a cost, though. As Ridley sweeps the flame around, the torrent reaches the moonlight orb, left unprotected. It is incinerated and fades away into moondust, putting an end to the shadow empowering of everyone and the shadow pull on Ridley and any other allies he may create.

"It was like a year ago."

"And totally!"

She uses the distraction to set up her own thing, with blood flowing forth out of her hands and flying into symbols.

"... oh."

He looks uncertain.

"... I'm still not sure about the idea of stealing unless you absolutely have to to survive."

"I remember blue hair, and... ice... powers? ..."

She holds her head.

"Agh, I remember hitting my head hard against the rocks when I got blasted away at one point. Maybe it's had an effect on me, because I have been having head aches as of late. ... Maybe I should go home at some point and see if it has, just to make sure."

Miles breathed a sigh of relief at seeing Sonic would live only to stare at the construct being forged before them. Upon seeing Ridley spraying forth a torrent of flame, Miles took up a spot a few feet from Rumia and dug deep, creating a triple-layered forcefield to hold back the attack.

Blastoise finally freed himself from the webbing and used Hydro Pump to launch himself into the air and aim to land on Ridley.
