He looks a little excited.

"Can I have some of it? Please?"

"Can't any of you see it!?", Chara asks. Both Botar and Pilly glance at the hallway as well, only to find nothing. Pilly looks back at Chara afterwards.

"There's nothing there."

Chara looks again, and seems to calm down.

"O-oh... it's already gone again."

Once helped up again, Chara takes a few more paranoid peeks at the hallway.

"I swear there was something standing in the hallway, staring at Pietro."

"At... Pietro?"

"Yeah. Only Pietro, nobody else."

"... Are you trying another scare trick?"

"No, I swear, there was someone there!"

"Yeah." she says; "It'll be useful if you meet a wounded person !" she says, handling a small-ish (the size of his palm) can of it.

"Alright, whoever or whatever was apparently staring at me from that hallway... what'd they look like?" Pietro asks Chara.

He takes the can, looking ecstatic, then lifts his hat up and puts the can sideways on his head, then puts his hat back on it. Somehow, this actually succeeds in holding the can in place.

"Thanks, miss Neuff!"

"I only saw a glimpse of it before I panicked, but it was really big, bigger than you I think, but not bigger than Botar. And its eyes were glowing. Aside from that it was standing in the shadows so I didn't see much."

They ponder.

"... Sounds to me like your base is haunted by a ghost."

Pilly then actually looks a little scared by the prospect of ghosts... even though Chara is one too.

"A-a ghost?"

"Yeah. You should try to find a way to communicate with it, to find out if it's malevolent or not."

She laughs a little;

"That's a clever way to keep the can !"

"In that case, I say we call anyone who can talk to ghosts down here and see if they can't work their magic on this one," Pietro replies. "Please tell me at least one member has that ability."

He pauses, then smirks happily and somewhat proudly.

"Thanks! I-oh, I gotta go right now. Thanks again for taking care of my wound!"

With a little wave, he goes back into the hallway, laughing contently as he leaves the area.

Pilly ponders.

"... Maybe Weber?"

Beat

Botar, of all people, is giving her a 'that's a bad idea'-look. Pilly sighs.

"We'll find a way to solve this, don't worry. In the meantime..."

She smiles at Chara.

"... Good luck."

Chara, smiling back, nods once. Then they seem to remember something.

"Oh, wait, there's one more thing. Not about the ghost, but something else."

"What?"

"Well... remember that presence I said I cut ties with? ... I can still feel it. Not on me or anyone here, but... in this world."

They look worried.

"That presence may be guiding someone in this world now instead. Subtly telling them to kill. You should all be careful, alright?"

Pilly, after a few seconds, nods.

"Alright."

Chara smiles one last time before Botar teleports them away. Pilly turns to Pietro, looking happy.

"Thanks for having been so understanding towards them. I think they really needed that."

She gestures to another hallway.

"Do you want something to eat or drink?"

"Yeah, I could go for a snack."

With that, Pietro dashes down the hallway to the base's mess hall.

She smiles and leave, resuming her call.

Kars leaps for Iraaxos, swinging a Lightblade at him.

NLA Scourge simply weaves the pie, zooming in and going for a gutpunch on Agent 8.

Agent 8 deploys a Killer Wail and rolls out of the way as it fires a devastating soundwave.

Mr. Pew Pew jumps over to the side of the Killer Wail, puts on a pair of shades with star-shaped lenses, and pulls out a button. The ground breaks open underneath Scourge, and a mighty Geyser of destructive water erupts from the hole.

After bidding good-bye to the God Of Thunder, Miles and his partners finished their fun in the snow before deciding it was time to get something to eat. Not in the mood to eat snow, they called upon Hoopla to teleport them away...

Arriving in NLA once more, Miles headed out of the alleyway he had arrived in and peeked around the corner, only to see...well, a pretty big mess consisting mainly of red ink, puddles of water, and splattered pies...lots of pies, "What the?"

Nebula and Corona observed all this from their perches on Miles shoulders with the former even commenting, "...Did somebody throw a party and we weren't invited?"

Paintra approaches and looks at the ink. "So messy... but there's almost something artistic about it. Like a family-friendly version of a wartorn battlefield."

She sets her canvas down on an easel that appears out of nowhere and starts painting a landscape piece of the battle, not even glancing at Miles (who is on her right).

Def, the stuff Gamer and I are doing has no actual involvement in the fight. Carry on ignoring this scene.

Karstodes

He sighs.

"Moron… look, idiot, it's pretty fucking clear that neither of them want to deal with you."

He takes a step forwards.

"Why don't you try this demigod on for size?!"

He poses.

Primordia

   "Yeah, that should work. I'll fiddle with all the little detail, probably have Megan help me build some kind sight or something. My thanks!"   

Megan looks at the button on the line cannon, then at Nyr, and then back and forth several times.

"Nyr—"

   "Please?"   

"I know what you're thinking, but could you at least aim it somewhere that isn't here?"

   "Ah, come on, how bad could it be?"   

Oca shrugs.

"Not that bad, it'd take more than a– oh, right, you guys."

"Erm, aim thataway."

He points out to sea.

"It should blow up just as massively on hitting the water. Or going through the air for too long."

Primordia

Nyr looked for a clear shot out to sea, and... then proceeded to accidentally drop the box. He fumbled for it, somehow not pressing the button in the procees, and eventually got a grip on it.

"Fuck's sake, man, don't do that!," Megan said, looking significantly paler than she did a moment ago.

Nydarros smiled sheepishly, and then made sure he had an actual solid grip on the device with his real hand, before trying again. The shot seemed to be decently away from anything important.

Of course, that's if you don't include Tiamat, who happened to be taking a look at the small islands on the outskirts of the arena's mainland, near the endless void at the edge.

Hmm... These must be features of the area being replicated... I wonder if I could set up—

Her thinking was cut short by a massive explosion of antimatter directly centered on her nose... which also completely vaporized her and added all of her seven colors to the explosion, in segments.

"Well... I suppose you are right. Perhaps she'll appreciate my efforts, at least. Would... would you be willing to teach me?"

He seems awkward asking someone to teach him something. Is it just Bahamut being Bahamut? Is it actual discomfort from the Hero God? Who could say for certain, except perhaps Tiamat, who had just gotten utterly scronched?

Now Nyr is one going pale. He and Megan exchange a look born of absolute, all-consuming, spine chilling terror.

"... Yes," they both say after a moment, quietly and sheepishly.

   "The Dragon Goddess is gonna have my hide for this one..."

He seems rather unconcerned.

"Well… if you're still alive by then, feel free to stop by the fight on Horror Trick Day. Or, you know, stop by my place or my workspace if you're on the run from this Goddess."

Primordia

Nyr and Megan compose themselves and nod to Oca.

   "Will... will do. After whatever trouble I've just potentially landed myself in clears up, want to find some time and just have a good old-fashioned fight?"   

Nyr seems to have taken his mind off of what is possibly his impending doom for the moment.

Megan, however, seems to have realized how improbable it is that Tiamat will actually know who precisely fired off that shot.

Oca smirks.

"You really think you can handle all this primal monkey power?"

His smirk devolves into a grin.

"See y'all later, then~."

He teleports out.

Then back in.

"Whups, nevermind, gotta go to NLA."

He flies off.

Nydarros gives a smirk filled with draconic smugness back at Oca. Megan suppressed a laugh as she watched this. After Oca left for the second time, she said, "Speaking of which, you want a ride back? I've got a spicy air-and-space capable mech right here." She gestured to the Wyvern Esper Custom as she said this.

   "... Can I ride on the outside?"   

"Boy you better hold the fuck on, because I'm not pulling a dive to save your ass if you fall off."

   "Heh. Gotcha."   

Time passes...
