"My name is Vulpecula. I'm an astronomer."
She looks confused when he mentions Hamon, however. Hamon, huh? Never heard of it. Is that some sort of Stand or something?" she asks inquisitively. Seeing the sparks, though, she recoils from them in surprise.
"Woah there, sparky! Calm down!"
Something something Arena."Well, I'm sorry that I haven't heard of your electricity ability, but Stands aren't newfangled by any means. There is also ancient history about Stands! That's beside the point though. Care to explain Hamon to me? Afterward, I can show you what I can do, I suppose." she says, waiting for him to begin talking about Hamon.
Something something Arena."Sure."
"Hamon, or the Ripple, has been around since the dawn of time! It was developed in prehistory, for the purposes of beating back the creatures of the night which threatened man! Beings such as Pillar Men, vampires, and other freaky freaks."
"You see, the energy of Hamon is produced by controlled breathing: It could be referred to as a form of 'life energy'. Specifically, it is very similar to the energy given off by the sun! Though, I'm afraid I must admit it is nowhere near as powerful as a good number of Stands I've heard of, it is far more versatile. The 'rules' around it are kind of iffy and ripe for exploration!"
"Unfortunately, with the absolute recent proliferation of Stands and the current lack of it's traditional enemies, Hamon has become a lost art. I can think of very few who even remember it exists, let alone can or do use it."
/\。。/\"I have no idea what Pillar Men are, but the whole idea of Hamon sounds cool. I would show you my Stand, but people without them can't see them and all that stuff." she says, sighing.
Then her face lights up a bit as she gets an idea. "While I can't show you my Stand directly, I could show you what it can do. Would that be okay?"
Something something Arena."Alright, my Stand is known as Moonchild. It is able to produce and control what could only be described as 'moon dust'." she begins as she raises her right hands and a stream of grey dust begins to flow from her palm. Puroto would notice that the Stand seems to only be appearing in her right arm.
"I can form it into various shapes, as well as use it for stabbing and slicing purposes, due to how sharp the grains are. If you inhale some, it could be dangerous, as lung lacerations are no joke." she comments as the dust seems to mold itself into various shapes.
"I feel like I could develop my stand more, but that would be for another day." she mumbles to herself.
Something something Arena. He subtly cringes a bit, but squares up.
"That… that's really quite interesting. A Stand based on the moon, the natural opposite of the sun? And dust which can ruin lungs, the seat of the source of Hamon? That… that sounds like the sort of Stand a vampire would be eager to use, to be honest."
"It's a bit off-putting, to be honest. You could totally incapacitate me with that if I was caught off guard."
/\。。/\Vulpecula chuckles a bit at his comments, and replies "And how do you know that I haven't slipped any of the dust into your lungs as we were talking, hm? I could be a servant of a vampire and you would never know!"
She gives her best evil looking smirk... And fails horribly, as she collapses into laughter. "Just kidding! I have no reason to hurt you, and that would be a bit of a dick move anyway. On the subject of vampires with Stands, I have heard rumors that there used to be one, but that a group of people dealt it. But then again, that's just a rumor from a Speedwagon Foundation contact of mine."
Something something Arena."I did say I could sense stands, didn't I? I wasn't exactly off guard. Besides, your Hamon feels genuine. At the very least, I wouldn't say you are a zombie."
"Ah, yes, DIO. I've heard of him: That Joestar family really is a thing, aren't they? I'd show them a thing or two about Hamon if they didn't keep getting wrapped up in trouble: I have enough of my own problems as it is."
/\。。/\"No kidding... Trouble seems to follow them wherever they go, so if I hear that a Joestar is close by, I tend to stay the hell away. Though, meeting one would be interesting if only to see their stands." she says as her own Stand fades away and the moon dust along with it.
"So what other Stands have you heard of, and have you fought anyone with a Stand?"
Something something Arena."Meeting them would be interesting, especially Joseph, the one I know by name! Though, unlike you, I wouldn't be able to see their Stands."
"Honestly, I don't tend to fight Stand users too often. I'm a bit more focused on containing spooks and specters. Me and a few others are one of the reasons that beasties like vampires don't tend to make the news much anymore. I have fought a fair number, though, such as that one who was able to manipulate other people's teeth. Was a bit disturbing."
/\。。/\"Well, I do know someone who knows a person that owns a piece of the arrow, if you ever want to gamble and try to get a Stand. Each are unique to a person, after all, so it would work in your favor." she says while shrugging.
"It makes you wonder what the hell runs through the heads of some people, though, like the teeth guy you just mentioned."
Something something Arena."To be honest, I don't quite think I can blame some for being a bit loony. With a power like that, you can't quite see them being heroic, can you? Though I forget if it's the other way around."
"And… I'd really rather not. Stands are prolific enough for me: I think I've made my distaste clear enough. I've got nothing in particular against Stand users, but I would rather practice and to keep my dying art alive."
"Say, do you happen to know about what's been going on with us down in Australia? Or is most of the supernatural-aware community still mostly focused on the events around the Joestars?"
/\。。/\"Very well, I won't push it then. As for supernatural happenings, it's always about the Joestars and their escapades, so my colleagues and I aren't usually aware of the other parts of the world. Has something been going on in the 'land down under'?" she asks, tilting her head to the side inquisitively.
Something something Arena."Yes, I would say so. Though I for one would say we've been doing an excellent job of keeping it contained, so I'm not surprised it hasn't been heard of."
"Simply put: There's a source of vampires, and zombies, and other spooky specters somewhere out in the Aussie wilderness. We haven't quite found it yet, but we have been doing quite well in preventing them from disrupting normal society."
/\。。/\"Yes. Encountering a Box Jellyfish with a Stand… brrr, that wasn't too fun. The small arrow shards spread throughout the outback and beyond do not help our job."
"Luckily, I think our posse is good enough to last against it. We are mostly Stand users, if I am to be honest, but we have a few rarer supernatural fighters! And of course, 'German Science'."
"We even managed to almost bring down the one we believe to be responsible for the spook's resurgence."

/\。。/\"Zeeroe isn't technically a Sister, though, but okay. Now, there's something else I wanted to talk about with you," Nicole replies to Platinum. "Remember that talk we had about seeing if we could get major threats to the Arena to destroy each other, after we saved those people from a Chitauri squad?"

Junior pouts a bit. Yeah, he can't really speak proper english at this point, but he doesn't wanna be baby talked at.
He plops himself onto the floor and crosses his arms, before curling up and deciding he wants to take a nap.
He doesn't fall asleep right away, though, as he keeps watching Nicole and Plat.

She seems to be a bit off-put by the random posing, but she keeps her composure and replies to his questions.
"As far as I know, this place is called the Arena. As for directions... I have none. I just wander around and look at the sky with my telescope." she says.
"So who are you?" she then asks.
Something something Arena.
