She notice Saitama but doesn’t see anything unusual and just settle Marie down

He forces the Sleep Recover down Marie's throat.

"Hey! Wake up!"

Eternal Kakarotto is sneaking around, heavily suppressing his ki.

He takes a swig of his Hetap, and almost bumps into Saitama.

"Oof! Sorry!"

Saitama trips on Kakarotto's foot and slams face-first into the pavement, almost comically.

"... Oops."

He gets up and dusts himself off, not a scratch on his face.

"... It's fine, but thanks for the apology."

She awakens and gag, though Marinette helps a lot.

« Hey, are you okay ? »

"... What happened to you?"

"Still... Hey, you're pretty tough."

Kakarotto sidles up to him in a comical manner.

"You know where I can find anyone... super strong?"

"Huh... I'm... erm... Azzam... Terlette..."

She get up !

"What happened to her ? Ho no !"

"Calm down." says Marinette. "I saw a flying individual take her away. She is fine, unless said being, of course, happened to be carnivorous."

"Phew, Nix killed Azzam and carried Terlette away then... but why didn't she come back for me ?"

"Maybe you happen to be heavier than you look ?"

Nik approaches Marie. "There you are. You kicked Azzam's ass, actually."

"... Uhhh..."

Saitama looks around quizzically, then points a finger at himself.

"Oh, just a fight."

"... I suppose those happen a lot in this 'Arena'?"

"I don't care who they are, there's no way they could stand up to my new ultimate weapon! unless they're undead or mechanical."

He raises an eyebrow.

"Oh? How strong are you?"

"Cause I'm kinda looking for a challenge..."

"What ? How ? I was in the air and." says Marie. "I was.."

She let out a grunt of pain as Marinette support her.

"Obviously you awakened your hidden killer instinct and swiftly dispatched Azzam."

"No... but at least, I'm glad that you and Terlette are good, Nik... though, I mean. How is she ?"

"He's an undead lich." says Marie.

"She's recovering back in her lodge in our home universe. Aeleris is keeping an eye on her, don't worry."

"... Too strong. As I've discovered, overwhelming power is... pretty boring."

Oca walks up to Marie.

"Who is this 'azzam' and can I kill him with nuclear warheads?"

He gets a glint in his eye.

"Really now? B'cause... I've also been getting bored of fighting because of my being too good at it..."

"No, he'd just regenerate and I don't know where his bones are. Unless you destroy them, he'll just come back forever."

"I hope that she's fine. I regret dragging her into this mess.." says Marie. "She took so much damage just for me..."

"Oh, really?" Saitama chuckles. "You ain't the first who's come to me for that same reason, pal. If you think you can take me on, then let's see how hard you punch."

He braces himself.

"You need to destroy his phylactery or something, and I assume that requires holy magic."

Nik puts a hand on Marie's shoulder. "She'll - be - fine."

"Okay, but what if we put his bones in a black hole."

"...Where would you get a black hole."

"Heh."

"Wait... shouldn't we get out of the city first?"

"Why are you asking ? Of course it'd be destroyed if it were in a black hole !" laughs Marinette.

"I know, I know. But i just... get so much people to get harmed or die for me..."

Marie sighs and get up. "I'll just be going to the hotel."

"... Oh, right, we should."

Saitama turns and bolts out of the city, stopping in Primordia, Silent Mire.

"Alright. Take care, Marie."

"I still think you just carrying around Super Anthrax is not the wisest thing to do."

"Hey, I said I was intelligent, not wise."

They teleport out.

He teleports after him.

"Well... you said hit you, right?"

He powers up halfway: To about 20s (or 80000000000).

She hugs her a bit and then depart, Marinette scratch her chin.

"Hmmm, I wonder what this Azzam fellow sees in her."

Saitama can't sense energy, but he can feel the pressure from Kakarotto's rising power, and he smiles like an excited little kid. "This is gonna be awesome."

"... Something about her eyes, I think. Not in a romantic sense."

Kakarotto stabilizes his power, steadies himself into a stance.

And blitzes forwards, going for an overhead hammer slam to pound Saitama into the ground.

Nicole is currently sitting on atop the Arc Rock, checking something on her phone.

"Hope nothing's keepin' ya busy today, Neuffie."

"Hm... I see." she says. "Well, I should help her if this Azzam follows enter my sight. It's not my concern at the moment but letting a villain get what he want is always a bad idea."

Saitama is faceplanted into the ground, forming a crater.

He suddenly springs back upward and responds with a single ordinary punch of his own.

"Right." Nik runs off.
