Megan woke up, apparently having spent at least an entire day asleep in her part of the BLADE Barracks. She restocked her gear, and rummaged through her item box. She put the gunlance back in, as she had not used it as much as she had though she would, and instead took out two, wickedly-shaped, forward-curving dual blades. They pulsed with an incredible internal heat, and the name engraved on the handles of them was "Magda Ungulae" — undoubtedly, these were part items gifted from her counterpart. She slid them across each other, causing a series miniature explosions to form along the contact points.
"Cooooool," she said to herself, observing the phenomenon. She stored the blades on her back. took her regular weaponry, grabbed a generic set of potions (two healing, two mana, and one shielding), and decided to head out into Noctilum for a bit — see the sites, take a survey of the land and of the flora and any fauna that might be around, that sort of thing. Perhaps she might find something else, as well, although she wasn't sure what she was looking for.
Her tail seemed almost fully grown since the Xeno'jiiva fight, but there was still something... missing. She wasn't sure what is was, exactly, but she could definitely feel it. She had also requested that minor modifications be made to her attire, so that she could still be comfortable in her signature outfits, even with her tail.

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousNoctilum
"Oh, heyo Oca. You'll be glad to know I finally got a chance to fire off that Line Cannon. How have things been?"
Megan looks over at Enforcer for a moment, with a somewhat blank look of mild intrigue. She's actually more intrigued than she's letting on, but she probably wouldn't admit it.

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousSebastian simply glances at the newly arrived Dokan, who he greets with a nod, then teleports away after bidding farewell to the group.
"I suppose now might be as good a time as any to begin searching for Hyness. Perhaps I ought to ask Sees if she'd be willing to assist me, should she be in the mood."
After bidding farewell to Ciel, Nicole looks back to Anna, returning her smile.
"Well, I actually just met the blonde gal with the cape earlier today, found her chatting with Oliver after she took down a bad guy with terrible fashion sense. As for what I've been up to these days, well... where do I even start?"
She then takes a seat on the store's countertop, where she'd regale Anna with tales of her latest exploits in the Arena.
Flamberge does a legit Squee when Dokan talks and promptly attempts to Glomp him.
Francisca gestures at the display of affection. "Talk about a tone shift... but I guess this is a good way to keep our minds away from darkness and depression."
"A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to."As she headed in that direction, she would soon enter a forest, dozens of trees are either charred black or split in half. As she got closer the glow intensified and the sounds of a battle could be heard.

There is a point where we needed to stop and we have clearly passed it...but let's keep going and see what happens"What on earth...?" Sirena stared in awe at the destruction all around her. It was clear that whatever had done this was definitely no normal human. The closer she got, the stronger the bloodlust became.
"Stay on guard, partner. Whatever is ahead is likely not to be friendly..." Aurora warned her partner in their shared mind.
She would find two men fighting under a waterfall, one had a tail and wore a strange armor while the other radiated pure bloodlust. For a while, they seemed evenly matched before the wielder of the bloodlust disappeared "A weakling like you does not deserve to talk about pride, now disappear!, Raging Demon!" the man reappeared behind the other and for a while, Sirene could see he had red skin and hair, then flashes of purple are all she could see before the red man was standing before his fallen opponent, in his back a symbol 天 .

There is a point where we needed to stop and we have clearly passed it...but let's keep going and see what happensSirena actually swallowed a lump at seeing the entity before her. It was clear he was the source of all this bloodlust and what made it worse is that he seemed intelligent too, meaning he could control the bloodlust enough to aim it or even amplify it to be even more destructive.
However, the witch wasn't one to back down, "Oi!!" She leaned against one of the trees while eyeing him, "Mind telling me what that guy did to you to deserve such a brutal beating?"

"If they were, we probably would've had all of them back already.", Anna says. She then smiles.
"Anyway, after the incidents with the last Einherjar battle, I've been busy creating a list of which Einherjar are still out there, and I'll note which one are especially dangerous and which ones may be willing to switch sides of their own accord. None are guaranteed to switch sides of course, but it's worth a shot in most cases. I think it'll make things much easier for you and your friends."
She puts the bag of gold underneath the counter, then smiles.
So, what've you been up to, and who's your new friend? Tell me all about it."
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.
