Terlette teleports beside Megan. "We should really discuss magic in our worlds later, when this is over." She generates a tiny, tiny sun-like orb on her fingertip and slips it into the firing mechanism on the Hand Cannon.

Eruption fires a gigantic blast of sunlight that smokes the dragon, which collapses, heaving and wheezing but not quite dead yet. Then Sporacles' wild Thermoblade flailing somehow makes a deep enough gash in its neck to finish it off. Terlette proceeds to pretend Sporacles doesn't exist.

Terlette walks over to the dragon's corpse and stomps its snout so hard its head explodes. "That's for the bitch comment." She proceeds to dig Nihil Blade into its skin and effortlessly gouge out a smooth sheet of glistening scales, which seem to lose some of their luster as daylight is restored to the area. She neatly folds the skin-with-scales into a stack that fits in one of her belt pouches.

After stuffing the pouch, Terlette offers it to Megan. "Most potions I've brewed with these scales tend to be... bizarre. Fire resistance, unarmed strength enhancement, speed enhancement, anti-gravity, vampiric regeneration abilities... It seems to have less to do with the moon and more to do with things vaguely related to it. However, if you can make a potion that turns you into a Shor Aqueo Ak using water scales, you can make one that turns you into a Shor Luns Ak using moon scales. See you soon? Maybe I'll tell you about that little mishap I had..."

He doesn't notice the other people there either, and is completely convinced that he singlehandedly slew a dragon with a knife.

Totally confident in himself, he struts off.

Megan lowered her gun, flicking the safety back on. "I have to say... that was a new one for me. I don't think I've ever seen a creature quite rude in all of my time spent hunting, and considering the object of my vengeance, that's saying something." She accepts the scales, folding them away neatly with the other she has already gathered.

"I'm feeling pretty drained... That was unexpected and rather intense. We can talk about magic and our homes back in NLA, it will be a bit quieter there. If anything pops up, BLADE should have enough guns to deal with it," she said, her scales showing as a dark, pale blue, as they faded to match her skin tone once again.

ZEUS is back to the arena, dragging the decapitated head of an Old One above his head, seemingly not minding the sheer weight of the thing, which is about as big as a building.

"The beast's stench is more harmful than its attacks !" he yells, before tearing the head apart and blasting it with lightning. He then look on, covered in... weird things, and then just fry them into oblivion with a brief lightning aura.

Death rides his horse, Despair, over to Zeus. "Are you some sort of Deity? Surprising how even gods can be taken here. I came here of my own volition."

"Tread carefully !" he says. "I am no mere deity, I am ZEUS ! The GOD of the GODS !" he says, thunder booming forth.

He then folds his arms with confidence.

"Humph ! I arrived there on my own, no dimensional force can affect me !"

"No you didn't. And here, you hardly hold that title. You know what, give me a strike. Let's see how you compare to Demon Lords and Dragons."

"Of COURSE I AM ! No dimensional wall will separate me from that glorious status ! Nor will the words of some unknown pest from another world !"

He waves his hand dismissively.

"A dragon EASILY FELL TO ME yesterday ! Your challenges can affect a mere mortal, but they're nothing but trivial to a God !"

Zeus forms a smiting bolt in his hand, using it to illuminate himself.

'Turns into reaper form, now equaling Zeus in size.'

"You're awfully sure of yourself. So give me a strike. Use that bolt, throw it with all your might. Otherwise you're all bark and no bite."

Zeus shrugs and throws the bolt right at Death. As except of Zeus, it's really, really strong, being able to slam into Death (if he get hit) and toss him several kilometers away through whatever obstacle, before making a huuge electric explosion visible from the neighboring areas of the Arena, covering the diameter of a mountain or moreso.

"The people here are awfully arrogant." he declares, wiping his hand, not minding the hypocrisy.

Death, due to being in Reaper form, is hit, and loses balance, but regains it. He is obviously hurt, but regenerates rapidly. He is also out of breath, and takes a few seconds to speak. He exits Reaper Form.

"Not the worst strike. Not the best either. Tell me, what is your goal here? Do you wish to challenge yourself? Do you wish to take over this crossroads between worlds? Or were you, as I suspect, brought here unwillingly, and are too arrogant to admit it?"

"Ha ! This is far from my best shot, child ! " he says. He was telling a half-truth. He wasn't at full power but he was still striking at way above half his power output, meaning that he still tanked a serious shot,which was pretty admirable.

That said, Zeus was too arrogant to admit it.

"My goal ? I'll use this place as a dumping ground for the abomination and would-be godslayers that try and attack the mortals under my protection. Perhaps I'll put this worthless, good for nothing Ares there forever, too !" he says.

"And what do you want ?" he says. "Answer me, or the next strike will be stronger !"

"You do not fool me, Zeus. I saw you strain your power. I will not bow to you, but I will admit I am outclassed in power by you. I am here to find Sithius, the Demon Lord of sin, and to take him back through the dimensional portal. I came here by choice. You did not. In here, Sithius can gain many souls and many allies. I cannot allow that."

"I am Death, the reaper of souls. In my world, I serve an integral part of the balance. I am not the deadliest being there, however, far from it. I humbly serve the balance."

"You're clever." he says, in a tone that imply that he's contemplating shoving his fist into Death's face. "Well, clever enough to notice, stupid enough to talk down to me. That say, I will let you go for now."

He wave his hand with a dismissive face.

"Death ? Hm, I have misjudged you." he says, now calmer. "You're hunting for a demon ? You should get the other gods to help in that task." he says. "Especially if that demon is apparently dangerous."

"What does the wretched thing look like ? I might be willing to smite the foul beast if I spot it."

"His appearance changes upon command. But trust me, he will make sure you know his presence.

Lord Sithius would be an easy battle for you, save for one thing. He gains power when one commits sin. Your sins are obvious, Pride and Wrath. He could defeat you, by taking advantage of that."

"I have a way around that." he says, confidently.

Nicole is currently sitting near Biahno Lake, checking her phone's inbox for any texts she might've missed while munching on some beef jerky.

Cinke is walking along with Mekhara, standing on the cyborg's shoulder.

"Haha, I am taller !"

Just as Nicole finishes her beef jerky, her attention is drawn to the sight of Cinke standing atop Mekhara's shoulders. Smiling in a bemused manner, she shakes her head, pockets her phone, and stands up before approaching the pair.

"Y'know, you'd look hella taller if you stood on Plat's shoulders, Cinke. Just a thought."

She look down at Nicole, Mekhara has a "kill me now" face.

"Ha ! What about Mekhara standing on his shoulders as I stand on her shoulders ?!"

Nicole raises an eyebrow, then shrugs.

"Uh... sure, provided you can keep from losing your balance or anything. That said, Mekhara here looks like she might need a break from, er, being ridden."

She then smiles slightly at Mekhara.

Cinke get off in answer and dismiss her. The happy Mekhara nods at Nicole and departs before she change her mind.

"I can keep my balance, I'm super athletic !"

Nicole bids farewell to Mekhara, then turns back to Cinke.

"In that case, I hope the same thing can be said for Mekhara, especially if she'll be balancing you and standing on Plat."

She chuckles at the mental image of such a sight, then takes a seat on a rock near Biahno Lake.

"Anyway, besides using Mekhara as part of a balancing act, what's the Science Sis been up to?"

"I've been repairing my stuff that you wrecked and completing it, I've invited Neuff to try it out too !"

She looks a bit in thought.

"She's busy with her boyfriend though, can't come yet."

"Knowing Neuff, I bet'cha she'd love to run those tests together with Demo."
