"Yeah. But you know what makes those kind of stories even better?"
He leans in close again to whisper.
"When you're in that story."
He then gives Nicole her personal space back and chuckles.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."Yup. That story really happened, a little while after our world went through that drastic change.", Zacharie says. "When the zones were still being formed, not everyone was as eager to create a land by the Queen's standards. Only one of them actually succeeded in claiming some land, and that was the Toad King. Once he was slain and his land was free, it was added to Zone 2."
He chuckles.
"Since Japhet, Guardian of Zone 2, didn't have need for that land, I built an amusement park there instead!"

He then snickers amusedly.
"Though I also built a life-sized statue of myself because I got bored, heehee~", he says in a bit of a giddy manner.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay."I'm not sure if it'd been that much bigger, considering I had to do everything by myself. Can't really count on the Elsen to make something as dangerous as 'rails you could trip on and fall off of' and 'a boat that can capsize and make you drown'. ... No, really, those are descriptions I've heard some Elsen give of the rollercoaster and boat ride. They tend to be scared of anything that is even remotely unsafe. At least the ones in Zone 2. The ones in Zone 1 were still nervous and panicky, but not as afraid. The ones in Zone 3..."
He pauses.
"Well, they weren't scared, is all I'll say.", he ominously says.

There seems to be a strange presence by the cathedral, as chiming tones resonate across the air, originating from an unknown source.

*Seems as though someone has been lured into the area by the sound of the chimes. Namely, a guy who happens to be shoulder-carrying a rather large brass gatling gun of sorts, somehow without much issue. He pauses for a moment in his walking, pushing his sunglasses back more firmly in position, then continues approaching the chimes...*
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.The guy with the sunglasses would arrive on a rather peculiar sight: namely, a winged humanoid floating a few feet off the ground, eyes focused on what appears to be a crystalline ball filled with a... nebula, it seems? It looks quite unnatural.
Then, the person blinks, noticing Zero... and they cheerfully wave at him, the chiming noises continuing, and in such a way that it's rather like they're saying hello.

Best not to have weapons out while talking to someone. A few moments later, he heads over to the newcomer, faintly smiling.*
"Hi there. Have we met?"
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.The blond-haired figure shakes their head a little, and Zero would note the presence of synth and violins, as they put emphasis on the fact that they've simply recently arrived to this place.
Then, the sound of rattling, as they ask (in their strange, musical way) what his name is, tilting their head curiously.
They jump a little when they notice the strange object floating nearby, an exclamation mark appearing high on their head, but they then look back at Zero, and emphasise their question with piano music.

"Heh, sounds almost exactly like one of those stories you learn about growing up."
