The nearly unconscious Claus gets teleported out, back to the desert sands near the entrance. He's still somewhat out of it, so Thor might have to try to snap him back to his senses.
"It's a bloody laboratory! You can repair the damage easily!" Thor yells... at the lab's exterior, having been teleported out by Platinum before he could give his retort. Annoyed, he lets out a long, irritated sigh.
"It would seem that despite everything, Platinum was either programmed to share his madwoman of a maker's pettiness... or never learned how to get his priorities in order."
After a moment, he walks over Claus' side and gives him a light nudge.

Claus stirs and lets out a soft, pained groan. His eyes regain their focus slowly, and eventually, he manages to sit up. He holds his hand against his head and looks at Thor.
"... what... happened?", he asks, his voice a little weak.
"If you really wish to know... somehow, the process meant to help you instead led to... your Masked Man programming being triggered. After you were subdued, Platinum teleported us out, but not before we were banned for the petty reason that the fight caused some a bit of damage to the laboratory. Never mind that he nearly killed you in his attempt to subdue you..."
Thor sighs heavily before placing a hand on Claus' shoulder.
"Claus... I sincerely apologize for how this ultimately played out. I was not expecting things to take such a chaotic turn, nor was I aware that Platinum could be so petty."
Claus listens to everything Thor tells him, and once Thor is done, Claus doesn't say anything. He stares at the closed doors for a little while, just long enough that Thor may question if he's alright.
He then, with his voice still a little weak, talks.
"No, he's not being petty...", he says. "H-he invited me in and offered to help me... he even did help me, I... I don't feel as much pain as I used to... a-and I... I repay him by damaging his lab..."
His voice starts to choke up a little, as... ah... he's crying? Claus, of all people, is crying, the tears flowing out of his natural eye, his mechanical one as dry as can be.
"I... I really am still a monster. Porky's stupid little toy! No matter what I do, that'll never change, because I attack the people who try to cure me!", he says, completely breaking down, pulling his knees close to him and putting his face on them.
"I literally have no control over my own damn body and I'm a danger to everyone around me! How am I even supposed to protect Lucas if I could turn on him at any moment!? Aah..."
Thor, caught off-guard by the sight of the usually stubborn Claus having a breakdown, momentarily remains silent before sitting next to him.
"I'm not entirely blameless in this situation myself. I should have considered any potential risks before so eagerly suggesting we pay the laboratory a visit."
He sighs deeply, then lays a hand on the boy's shoulder.
"For whatever it's worth, you're the furthest thing from a monster I can think of, Claus... if Ninten could have his voice restored, then you will find a solution to your predicament soon. As for Lucas, myself, Loki, and others will continue keeping him safe in the meantime. If only there were more I could say, or better still, do here..."

He doesn't immediately answer, nor does he look at Thor yet, keeping his head on his knees.
"How am I not a monster? Just look at me... there's metal all over me... and in me... a-and... and..."
Now he looks at Thor, going back to silence for a few more seconds... before he suddenly punches his mechanical eye with his mechanical arm. He keeps his hand against his eye for a little while, the arm shaking a little. He eventually slowly pulls it back, his eye now cracked and broken, the white of said 'eye' showing the actual dark emptiness behind it, and oil leaking out of it, resembling tears now as well.
"How am I not a monster if I can't even normally look at you without my mind telling me to drive my sword through your neck, Thor?", he tearfully asks. "I... I can't even blame it on Porky either. It's my own fault I ended up like this, and everyone suffered because of it..."
He goes back to looking in front of him, at the closed doors.
"... If I'd stopped to think things through when mom died, instead of going after the monstrous Mecha Drago that killed her... I'd still have been normal... Lucas wouldn't have had to go through all that alone... Dad would've been there for us... our home wouldn't have been destroyed..."
He lowers his head again, shaking it a bit on his knees.
"I know it'll never happen, but I just want things to go back to how they used to be. Me, Lucas, Dad, ... Mom...", he mutters. He cries a little more, then lets out a sigh, and looks back at Thor again. The skin underneath his eye has gone red from his crying.
"I... I really don't know what to say... that you're all so willing to help Lucas and me despite everything that's happened... how... how haven't you gotten tired of all this trouble we attract, and of us? ... h-how... how..."
He stops talking, and tries to give Thor an impulsive hug. He keeps his head down though, still crying.

Having not expected such a thing to happen, Thor blinks in surprise when Claus suddenly hugs him. Nonetheless, he pats him on the back.
"Heh, I've dealt with more than my share of trouble before, Claus. This is nothing I can't handle. And truth be told... I used to be a hot-headed fool who made foolish mistakes myself. So... I suppose I can empathize with you, to an extent."
As he hears what Thor says, Claus lets out a soft, surprised and sad chuckle.
"You? No way.", he says, looking up at Thor, actually showing a slight smile. Even if it's a sad one, it's at least a genuine one. It doesn't last long though, and he lets go of Thor.
"... Do you honestly, really think I'm not a lost cause?", he asks, his eye making it clear that he wants an honest answer, even if it's the one he's dreading to hear.
Thor smiles reassuringly at Claus.
"While I doubt that a solution to your dilemma can be found so easily... I do not believe you to be a lost cause, Claus."
Claus sniffs one more time, then wipes his tears (and the oil) off of his face with the sleeve of his jacket. Finally able to stop crying, he takes a deep breath.
"I'm not expecting it to be easy.", he says, his voice a little stronger. He looks up at Thor, determination visible in his expression.
"But if you really think there's hope for me too, then... well, I'll try to live for more than just Lucas. For myself too."
He shows Thor a warm smile that, usually, would be the kind of smile Lucas would show.
"... Thank you."
Thor merely smiles back at Claus.
"You're welcome, my friend."
Claus gets up now, putting his hand on his forehead again, smiling.
"Well... I... I'm gonna need to get my eye repaired, I think. As much of a hassle as it is, it helps me fight. If I can't fight all-out, I'm gonna need everything else I've got. ... I'll bear it for a little while longer.", he says. He then glances at the doors.
"And I should apologize to Platinum when I get the chance. I'll make sure he lets at least you back in. You shouldn't be kicked out for something I did."
He then looks back at Thor, ponders, then suddenly takes a small box out of his pocket.
"Thor, I want you to take a look at these. They're my secret weapon to help Lucas if he needs it. I don't exactly know what they are though. Maybe you'll know. I wasn't gonna show anyone these, but... I trust you."
He opens the box, revealing the purple earrings Rico Jr had given him.
"All I know is that they're supposed to grant me strength, and I've worn them once, in my room, but I didn't feel any different. Do you know anything about these earrings?"
"I would certainly appreciate being let back into Platinum's good graces."
Thor gets up as well, then takes a moment to study the earrings.
"Hmm... Unfortunately, this is my first time ever seeing these earrings, so I know nothing about how they would increase your strength."

"Ah... they apparently hold divine energy of some sorts. I thought that maybe you knew since you're a god."
He closes the box and pockets it.
"Ah... well, I'll find out how they work eventually. ... I should really go back to the base now though, and get my eye repaired. It's probably not much of a surprise, but my broken eye actually hurts more than it normally does.", he says, smiling a bit awkwardly. He extends his wings, but they don't activate.
"... apparently my wings got damaged during the fight too.", he mutters. "That means I gotta walk back..."
He looks at Thor.
"... do you have anywhere to be right now? If not, want to go to Pseudo's base together?", he asks. "It'll be more fun that way."
Thor answers Claus with a nod.
"I suppose I could come along and pay Pseudo a visit. I've nothing better to do, after all."

Claus looks happy, and he starts walking alongside Thor, and as he does so, he starts talking.
"Hey, Thor? ... Please don't tell anyone that I cried.", he says to Thor, smirking a little. "I have a reputation to uphold."
Once he and Thor are out of the area, the mysterious person, who'd last been hiding in the cave during the fight against Sombra, arrives near the closed doors of Platinum's lab.
The person he was looking for, the Commander... he'd just been here, according to the device he's holding. But where was he now? He has to hurry and find him. The Commander is his only hope of surviving in this dangerous place.
The person continues to look, eventually heading towards Primordia, hoping that he'd find the Commander there.
Gotta go, see you later.

Thor returns Claus' smirk as he walks alongside the boy.
"Heh, consider my lips sealed, Claus."
At Lake Ciel, a woman with a bandage-wrapped arm can be seen admiring the water. An almost tranquil look is on her face... Almost.
Oca is sitting around a hundred meters away cutting into a writhing blob of flesh.
"Come on you motherfucker, daddy needs data on Hyper Saiyans!"
The woman glances over, hearing Oca complaining. She decides to get closer to observe what he is doing. Her bandages loosen a tiny bit, but she quickly fixes them.
He chops away a slab of flesh, and begins to insert several small organs into the blob.
The blob writhes in pain.
The woman's eyebrows rise slightly as she gets even closer to Oca. She certainly seems interested.
He notices her.
He continues filling the blob with S-Glands.
"Well hello there," she says, staring at his little science project.
"What are you making, if I might ask?"
