It's been established that Sara is a horror movie fan. How did she not realize that fooling around with a Hellraiser-esque puzzle box was a bad idea?
Man, they're really going all out on John's addiction, eh? Didn't expect the Season to become this dark.
Well, partially, the darkness of John's arc is a good contrast to the zanyness of the rest.

Relating to last night's episode. Okay what is the number of times the Waverider has been stolen? Mushrooms have secretly been aliens the entire time. That's interesting. Spooner being from the Past but dumped in the Future, intriguing. So Bishop how did the Fountain of Imperium protect Earth from the Dominators, the Daximites, and the World Killers? Or did none of those happen in this universe? How long is Constantine gonna stay dead for?
Yeah, I quite liked that ending. Power of Love is always very cheesy, but I feel like it worked here. Some very nice stuff for Spooner; I wasn't expecting her to actually be from the past but sure, it works. The power swapping feels kind of unnecessary plot-wise but it was fun so that's fine. Looks like Sara might keep her regeneration powers? Rory starting an alien family is sweet; wonder what Lita will think of her half-siblings. Bishop and his alien cronies were kind of underwhelming enemies, but they were good for the Legends to play off of.
And yeah, that's an interesting cliffhanger, but we won't have to wait long. Some people have predicted an evil Gideon, which could be interesting. Alternatively, maybe Gideon gets a body and somebody else uses that as an opportunity to take over the Waverider.
I wanna go back to the commenter who said How did the Fountain of Imperium/Empyrean (Do we have confirmation on name?) stop the previous invasions? Good Question, let me ask some questions of my own, Spoilers for most if not all DC shows In Superman and Lois, why is it not mentioned there are several aliens living on Earth already in general, and this is common Knowledge, in that show why didn't they call on any of the other heroes to help stop the ALIEN INVASION OF EARTH given that at the bare minimum Kara being Kryptonian would have been a God Send, and John having mind powers would have been of immense help stopping the Mind Snatching. In the Flash when the Savitars were fighting, when not ask Clark or Kara for help given they are possibly fast enough to actually be helpful. When having issues in Freeland, why didn't Jefferson just call his new buddies to help him deal with Tobias and everyone else? Like this is one of the biggest issues with the setting, the Multiverse was merged, they are all on one Earth (Except Star Girl I think.), hell even Lucifer Morningstar is! At this point, some of these threats they could have at least asked for advice or something. I don't think the Writers for all the shows fully realized the implications they've arranged here. Ironically this show is probably the only one that's arguabally free of that due to timelines, like this season finale was before all the shows, and their timeship was not under their control, it was one of the only instances where they really couldn't have asked for help. Anyway yeah, what's up with that?
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.

1. The Barry thing was either about him being Savitar or him accidentally convincing the Dominators to invade, maybe both.
2. Not really. Rip's still probably dead, Jax left for good after a brief return to fight Mallus, and Stein's daughter kinda left with when he died.
3. Gary's an alien.
4. Even he doesn't know, apparently leaving this season.
5. Went back to help repair his universe from, you know, the fallen Nazi regime.
Dude, just read Wikipedia.
