Seems like they're still homicidal.

So... they're saying that this is what the Legends were like before Charlie came along? Eh...

there first instincts for the first two monsters they fought was to kill and it was only with the banish to hell spell that they did that instead. until charlie showed them not all magic creatures are evil

I object to the idea that Sara would continually try to murder a sentient being in front of her that was trying stop a fight and ask for mercy, without even bothering to try and understand the situation, given that that's exactly the sort of thing she left behind when she stopped being an assassin and exactly the sort of rash thinking she stopped doing when she became captain of the Waverider.

All of the ones they had to send to hell were unrepentingly hostile, and not trying to reason. And even then, the Legends never entered a situation with "kill as soon as possible" as their primary objective. It's explained earlier in the episode as them having lost it after losing their friends, but there's no reason they should act like that if none of that happened.

Them literally dropping onto a scene and opening fire on someone simply on the suspicion that they're magical, without even verifying if they aren't a civilian as "Ava" suggested? That's out of character.

[up]I l'll just blame whatever else John and shapeshifter did to the timeline.

I love this episode with all of my heart. All of the timelines were genius — the Custodians of the Chronology (a name you know Ray came up with), the Sirens of Space-Time (GIVE ME MORE), and DC's Puppets of Tomorrow. I love them all.

Now, Gideon (as "Hard Drive"!) appeared in a body (presumably a robot one) in Sirens of Space-Time, so does this mean she can create a body for herself any time she wants? Because it would be cool if she did that whenever they needed an extra person for a mission.

I kept waiting for this exchange:

  • Gideon: "By the way, I was aware of all of your reckless changes to the timeline the whole time."
  • Charlie: "Even the one where you tried to kill me?"
  • Gideon: "Especially those, yes."

Sleep tight, Charlie.

I'm also glad we got more from Charlie — I liked the bit where she said being a shapeshifter wasn't a magic trick, it was her entire identity. It makes what John did to her a bit more cruel and gives her more motivation for what she did this episode (rather than just "without shapeshifting, I'm mortal").

Also, I love that Mick's book is literally called Heatwaves. We need to make a page for it.

And oh my god, the episode gets even better: the "nom de plume" that Mick writes under is "Rebecca Silver." Guess who the book Mona gave Nora was written by?

Yeah, that was pretty crazy.

Love how they had Ray acknowledge that the big crossover was going on, then continue on with their own story.

I guess with reality warping shit already taking place, the Legend's stuff slipped under everyone's radar.

Man, this episode set a new standart for crazy. And I mean that in the best way possible. But man, what a jerk you are John, I wanted to hear that puppet song tongue

The crossover reference. I love thinking about the writers sitting down and saying, "Oh yeah, they don't want us in their crossover? Fine, we'll do our own crossover. With blackjack and...a three-breasted green-skinned warrior and...Zari as a cat! And we'll make fun of their crossover!"

I don't normally read much fanfiction, but if there's any about Ava trying to make her relationship with Puppet!Sara work, I want it!

So.....constantine broke the timeline.

Is so weird to see, usually is flash the one who does that.

According to Jay, at worst Barry leaves cracks in the metaphorical cup. The Legends take a sledgehammer to it, they're pretty much in their own league.

You're not a true Legend unless you screwed up the timeline at least once. So you can look at this as John's graduation, so to speak.

I mean I already acept the fact Barry fuck the timeline, sometimes literaly and that barry is too in love with the timeline to not stick is dick on it.

But DAMN that episode was weird, I mean I stop seeing legend for a huge while so watching john shooting a UNICORN to fix the timeline.......

I dont have words right now...
