Archer of Violet - Via d'Azeglio
"Hmm you instead of thou... I think I understand my mistake now that I pay attention to tho... your words. This language, even the archaic form as you call it is unfamiliar to me... the archaic form, however, seemed to resonate more within me" says Atalanta as a matter of an explanation... and then she opens her arms wide, shrugging her shoulders and letting out a little breath "And I really can't understand you... I'd think you'd like it if I stayed in Spirit Form most of the time and on the lookout for enemies"
Atalanta's eyes then glanced around their surroundings... at the buildings of stone and the far away people moving... her eyes which saw the world with more clarity than likely anyone on this War "To be completely honest, I never had much regard for civilization... it always seemed more troublesome and oppressive than it was worth. Right now, the Grail is feeding me so much information... rules and warnings exactly about being within it that it makes my head hurt. I will always much prefer the freedom of the wilds... the thrill of the hunt. I don't really need to meld within this modern world... to walk it's streets of beaten stone. I'm a huntress... patience is essential of the craft. With great ease I could keep myself on a lonely perch, day and night, waiting for the right moment to strike... observing every movement and breath of my potential prey"
She says those words with great conviction and passion... her ears perked high, tail swaying... but after she says them, Atalanta stops for a moment. Another Golden Apple manifests before her... falling into her awaiting hand as she sees her reflection on the surface of it.
Atalanta doesn't say what she's thinking during these moments... but then she perks her ears down, letting the apple fade before turning her head to look back at Sam "But alright. If thou are keen on spending thy gains on garments for me, let it be so. Better to have and not need than need and not have. Plus... I'll see if there's anything of worth on this city after civilization had so many years to refine itself"
Alba's Penthouse Apartment
The shard itself gained a deep blue glow before shifting. Soon is become part of a large blue stone inlaid within a large golden sword. More blue stones could be seen as could inscriptions and red stones.
Soon after, the sword itself began to rise as a hand appeared around the hilt. As the light from the circle faded a girl could be seen.
The girl herself bore young features. Beautiful golden eyes. Long purple hair. She wore a long purple scarf and a matching short shirt that showed off her midriff. Around her neck she wore a necklace inlaid with a stone similar to her sword. A belt held up a skirt they matched her shirt, itself connected to a larger orange skirt. Around a pair of she wore brown boots and upon her shoulders she wore a shirt that matches the larger skirt.
Dropping to one knee, she dug the sword into the floor before looking up at Alba. "I ask of you... Are you my Master?"
Alba's Penthouse Apartment
Alba looked over the figure that was to be her Servant. At first, she was surprised, and less than impressed.
She had expected some sort of strong man. But she supposed, that this would have to do. She couldn't exactly choose who her Servant was. The catalyst was an unknown quantity.
She looked her over for a moment, before coming up with a response to the question.
"You see no-one else around here, do you? This is my apartment. So- I'll allow you to come up with the answer from that knowledge."

Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!When he attempted to open a magical barrier to the church, a massively painful prana feedback assaulted Theseus, to the point that even Apollo could feel it through their master-servant link, and prevented a connection from being established. It would seem as though there were a bounded field or other form of magical barrier or suppression field preventing them from heading into the area through those means.
Via d'Azeglio
"Fair enough." Sam nodded in agreement, regarding the wild woman before him with a thoughtful look. A lot of things were beginning to click together for him in the puzzle that her personality had initially been.
"Well then. Seeing as you're so unfamiliar with city life, not to mention modern city life, and probably know as little about women's fashion as I do..." The redhead set down his briefcase for what seemed like the umpteenth time in the past several minutes and undid the claps. It fell open with a solid thud, revealing a septet of shotguns set in seven satin sockets. An equal number of vivid, color-colored cartridges sat embedded beside each weapon. "Do I have any volun-"
"Oooo! Me! Mememe! Pick me!" an excited voice reverberated out of one of the guns before he was even finished speaking.
"...Okay, Avaritia," Sam intoned with some reluctance, "I suppose you are the most up-to-date of all of us on such things."
"Yesssss! Score!" The shotgun in question practically tore itself out of its slot to hover in front of Atalanta and the magus, and in a brief flash of light, a maid
◊ rather than a rifle was standing before them.
"But the last time we did this, you also ran up all kinds of charges I didn't ask for on my bank account, so Acedia will be going with you."
"Rats!" The humanized armament folded her arms and kicked the ground petulantly.
"Do I really have to?" a tired familiar asked sleepily from the other side of the case, "Babysitting Ava sounds like a pain."
"Hey!"
"Yes," the last Paterson replied firmly, "you really have to. You can take your nap later."
"Fine, fine..." With a deep sigh and some floating that was quite a bit more slow than her fellow familiar's, an identically-dressed maid was standing next to the first. In fact, she was identical in practically every way, except for her hair, which was black and tied back in a long ponytail. "Hey," she greeted Atalanta with a dull wave as Sam passed her a small black card and four of the cartridges from the briefcase, "I'm Acedia."
"And I'm Avaritia!" the other woman practically shouted, seizing her sister and Archer's hands, "Away we go, Acey and 'Lanta! To the magical land of Roma Termini!"

"We'll have to walk for a bit, but this is close enough to the church," he said, grimacing.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Aisha Hassei - Shielder of Violet
Shielder bowed slightly, which seemed wrong for someone who was glowing with divine radiance just before. "I will endure, protect, and destroy if I must. Palenque must rise again in this new era."
She turned around, and clapped her hands once. "Now then, we must prepare to scout out the area. Did you happen to prepare any clothing for me to wear before hand? I assume going out wearing my armor would not be a very wise decision." Her pieces of armor began to dematerialize, turning into a golden dust that floated up and into nothingness.
"Gimme your pants.. and now your other pants"Archer of Violet - Via d'Azeglio
"Huh... curious spirits you have on your person" says Atalanta glancing closely at both Avaritia and Acedia... before she smiles slightly "Good to meet you two. I'm sure thou'll have fun seeing how to conceal these" says Atalanta touching her feline ears and swaying her tail in a way to be noticeable.
Then Atalanta's hand was held and she was practically dragged by a bundle of energy... She lets the enthusiastic spirit lead her for a while before turning to Spirit Mode before coming into sight of anyone else. She'll appear on a dressing room after some clothes are picked... after all, as she is, she's quite conspicuous.
Aisha Hassei - Aisha's Home
"Uh... ahh! Wait... first we must decide where to go... as for clothes... I think you'll fit into something of Mariam until we buy something different... Sheila! Fetch the maps!" she cries out.
A few minutes later, however, the two maids one of the middle east and the other a Caucasian red head, stood around Aisha's desk... but instead of fetching maps they had before them a laptop with Google Maps "So, to plan your route... what do you wish to accomplish with this trip?" asks Sheila.

Aisha Hassei - Shielder of Violet [Aisha's Home]
Shielder stopped dematerializing what she was wearing to pause and look at the curious tool in front of her. "A laptop. Curious." She leaned forward. poked at the screen with her finger a few times, then took a better look at the map within.
"Ah.. hm.. I suppose our main objective should be to find the 'Church' in this city, the one that will help us find the rest of Team Violet. However, patrolling for possible traces of enemy magecraft may also help." Shielder said, straightening her back.
"Gimme your pants.. and now your other pants"Aisha Hassei - Aisha's Home
"Remember Shielder that the Grail War has not officially started yet... it's a few days before the time limit. I doubt we'd meet with all our allies if we go at the moment... and the church is currently heavily watched by the familiars of everyone planning on joining the war. I'd steer clear of it for the moments" says Aisha, looking at the map "Hmm... I'd like you to get a feel for the city... a round about path may be good. Moving down side streets to avoid the centrals paths that may run us into trouble or the eyes of the enemy and look at the mayor locales where we can get lost in the crowds"
Aisha Hassei - Shielder of Violet [Aisha's Home]
"You make an excellent point, dear Master." Shielder replied, adding a nod for extra confirmation. "Our secondary goal for this outing will be to remain unnoticed, I suppose." She paced a bit toward the exit, then stopped and turned around.
"Now, this Mariam, I will peruse her clothes before we begin our scouting trip. Then we can begin."
She had almost forgotten about her clothing due to the excitement of looking through the sights of somewhere unknown. How close was this city to Palenque? She'd have to check a map.
"Just a moment, I would like to look at these maps of yours." She said, quickly moving up to the two maids and taking the computer. In that moment, the knowledge the Grail had bestowed upon her became apparent, and she began using the device as if she weren't someone plucked from history. She zoomed out to a global view, then typed in "Palenque". Apparently, nowadays, it was in some country called "Mexico". She set a small bookmark there, then typed in Rome and repeated the process.
Finally, she zoomed out. Her eyes widened a bit and a smile grew on her face. She had never known that there was more land on the other side of the great sea, which is where she was now apparently. There was so much more land to add to her empire now, which she would surely begin doing once the Grail fulfilled her wish.

Lancelot's head bounced up and down as she dispelled her sword. It seemed like her Master was an...interesting one. Clasping her hands together, the girl responded in kind.
"I see. Then I swear to you that I shall serve as you right hand forevermore. What shall be our first priority?"
Alba's Penthouse Apartment
She nodded, for a moment. Turning to the window in thought, she considered what their first move would be.
"... First things first. We should get acquainted."
She turned on her heel to face Lancer.
"You are my Servant, yet I don't know your class, or what to call you."
She paused for a moment, before adding-
"But I am Alba Lock. You may call me Alba if you wish, but- otherwise I prefer Miss Lock."
1.5 imperial gallons of tea were consumed during the writing of this postAbbey Theatre
The inside of the bar would be somewhat familiar to Saber. It seems that great pains went into recreating the look and feel of an old style pub. Everything was solid wood, carved with various knot work designs and polished. Cheap alcohol was being passed around by the pint, and the people we all charged up in general.
There were various televisions set up around the place. It seems that there was a Soccer game on. It was the tail end of the season and this game was important to both sides, and fans at the bar were eating it up.
"Well Saber? How does it stack up?" Aeliana asked curious as to what Saber thought of this modern mead hall.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850A garden.
"Well, I think this is the garden of the Vatican," Theseus said, glancing around. "Or a garden near the Vatican. Or a garden, at least. It's probably a garden. Definitely most likely in Rome. I don't... I don't really know my way around here yet." He looked around, pulling up a carrot. "Chances are it's a garden."
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Aisha Hassei - Aisha's Home
"Mariam, show her your clothes and see if there's anything she likes" says Aisha as she begins tracing a route for them to explore... She'd focus on reaching some of the hills of Rome so that Shielder gets a nice view for the city from above... Palatine and Capitoline would be good for the heart of the city... though she'd avoid actually going into the ruins within given how they would be a good spot for summoning Roman heroes. Then walk towards one of the most modern sectors of the heart of Rome so she gets a feel for modern city life... ending with going to Gianicolo for a good view of the city as a whole from a distance. She was fairly confident they wouldn't run into anyone there.
Normally she'd need a map to navigate the city... however, with how her brain worked, once she saw the map she could commit it to memory perfectly. She knew the route and general layout of the city, with the biggest streets... she was confident in being able to guide them "Sheilah... tell Shielder to meet me at the doorway when done dressing and then we can head out" says Aisha, grabbing her purse and walking towards the door.
As for Mariam, the maid would show Shielder her outfits... a nice selection of modern and elegant clothes as seemed to be her style.
Abbey Theatre - Beowulf
Saber looked around. The decor was... not as grand, surely, as Heorot of old. But that is to be expected. Could the mead-halls of this modern age truly be expected to bear the grandeur Hrothgar's hallowed hall held so long ago? If she was truly being honest, such things made no difference. In this hall it was clear that the old virtues of competition and comradeship were still held in high regard. Saber valued that more than any superficial first impressions this place's outward appearance might have given. She nods, once. "This place," she says, "is a worthy successor."
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIAisha Hassei - Shielder of Violet [Aisha's Home]
Shielder was, well conflicted. There were so many choices, and all were garments either too modern to her liking or too elegant as to not stand out. Currently, she was wearing just about nothing, with only the gold jewelry she wore at all times gracing her body.
Eventually, she gave up and went for a pair of light blue jeans and a loose flowing pastel shirt. She did not take off her jewelry, or even lessen the amount. She seemed rather proud of her gold.
Sheilah did as she was told, and led Shielder to the doorway where Aisha was waiting. Now, they could begin their tour/scouting run.
"Gimme your pants.. and now your other pants"Aisha Hassei - Rome in General
Thus Aisha set out with her Servant... following the memorized route to stay away while in transit from mayor roads while mingling with crowds when they got to locales. She tried to make sure Shielder got a good look at the city while also indulging her if she wanted to buy something... though given her charisma, she may have broken down and done as she wished anyway.
Roma Termini
Although Atalanta's hand had vanished into thin air and her sister had wretched her own away in an apparent bid to look "mature" like she was always doing, Avaritia remained undeterred as she strode through the gates of paradise - wait, no. On second thought, she mused that paradise would probably have been Porta di Roma, but still, Roma Termini
was pretty great! And Sam's credit card, which might as well have been a blank check! Well... would have been a blank check if not for Acedia's bored eyes boring holes into her back. Whistling a tune, she practically skipped to the first nearby escalator.
"...Where are you taking us?" the other maid queried, looking a little unsettled.
"Oh, that's right, you've never been here before, because you sit around all day reading," Ava replied, wrinkling her nose, "For your information, most of the stores
for women's apparel happen to be located on the underground level, so if we go down there first, 'Lanta will have a lot more places to choose from."
"Oh. Alright, whatever. Just make sure to borrow a tape-measure from somewhere." Her ponytailed counterpart shrugged.
"I know that! Who do you think I am?!"
Via d'Azeglio
It's a little sad, isn't it?
"Hm?" Sam snapped his fingers and lit a cigarette as he waited to enter the terminal himself, lest any suspicions arise about his connection to Archer.
She couldn't join in with civilization because she lived in the wilds all her life, but she was a human, too, so she probably never really fit in there, either.
"Perhaps," he allowed after a drag and long exhale.
She would never have had a real family, either. I bet she was really lonely.
"Maybe." The magus stared blankly at the wall across the street.
...You're not even listening to a word I say, are you?!
"Ira."
Y-Yes?
"Do you think Tennyson was wrong?"
What?
"Right. For a second, I forgot Acedia was the poet."
Samuel, if you're mocking my reading ability, I swear to-
"Is it more sad to have something and lose it or to never have it at all?"
.......
"Exactly." Sam sighed and crushed his cigarette butt with a heel. "Well, it's about time. Let's go."
...Yeah.

"Your choice of grammar and pronouns would be considered archaic and unusual by most, but your words are perfectly fine otherwise. I don't think it really matters, since if I understand correctly your words should automatically translate and people will just think you're a foreign visitor to Rome who learned Italian or English or whatever language wrong." Sam shrugged indifferently. "If you care enough to be completely correct about it, though, you should probably just heed whatever that urge you're talking about is; I gather that's the Grail trying to transmit relevant information about the modern era to you, not the 'puppet body', as you call it."
"As for your clothing, I wasn't really thinking of necessity, but rather, wouldn't you be bored just watching people from a distance or intangibly all day? I certainly don't intend to just sit around and plot all the time whenever we have a lull in battles. If every day until the War is over could easily be my last, then I intend to live those days to the fullest." He paused by at the corner of the street to await Archer's decision.
